South Street Burger Food Review

Originally I was suppose to be going to the movies but due to the weather and not feeling safe with it thunder and lighting yesterday, both Eric and I stayed in town but pretty much made the best out of it and hung at the mall which was technically fine with me plus he had some issues with his walking which was more of my concern. Now he gave me this idea for today's post which is South St. Burger here in my hometown at the local mall. Now I was nervous at the start to know how this is going to taste, whether it was under cooked or overcooked but no, it was non of those actually. Now I had the Aussie Burger which yes Aussie as a burger from Australia. So on this burger there was egg, yes egg which was a little overcooked as it was brown by that could of been from the butter. Anyways bacon was nice and crispy. Burger was nice and juicy and cooked up medium as I always like it. Not Raaaw as Chef Ramsey would say. Soft bun action as usual which I always like to have and I think they toasted the bun and I actually like it a bit toasted actually! Now the service was great, they took my order they got my soft drink very quickly on the tray. It only took a few minutes as they cooked the burger fresh so that is probably the burger was nice and tender when I bit into it. Now fair warning it was a bit greasy but still very good burger and ate every single bite. The Price was around $13.66 which is so close to 14 bucks, so fair warning it was a bit on the pricey side of things but still worth it in the end.

Now the rating on South St. Burger is definitely 5 out of 5 all day long. It is worth it like I said and the wait time is worth it as well. I will indeed be back and plan on doing another review down the road and something different down the road that will be determined maybe next month. Anyways I do have some plans for other reviews such as the Rib Fest I was thinking about attending and also in the fall I do plan on doing Popeyes etc but that will be decided later and I will do a list blog eventually. Anyways I enjoyed the meal and it is well worth the small wait and the money and I will be back, I will definitely recommend it to friends and family. I will go the entire 9 yards. I think the fact they staff there overheard me say "food review" they ensured my experience was really good and trust me it was really well worth it and I was nowhere near disappointed, I was highly excited on every last bite of the burger. I honestly did not think egg on a burger would go together but it did. I just wanted to go back for another bite right to the end. I am not overly a picky person and open to new things and this burger, was inspired to try from Eric as he had that about a month or so ago so that is the reason I wanted to try it.

Change Can Be Hard!

I admit in the past it wasn't easy for me and still isn't from time to time and that is how I have honestly been feeling since once again leaving YouTube. Recently with the change of not doing the podcast on video once again. As you know in the last week it hasn't been good since I got home a few weeks ago from holidays. Ever since it has been hell trying to catch up and get back on a routine. Routine right now isn't too good but with the podcast from last week today at Noon EDT, it will be good to try and get things out on time tomorrow and Friday. I just gotta keep a positive attitude through these rough times. Just gotta make sure I make the time. My problem was I had no time but the bigger issue was I have not been myself honestly, down depressed cause I kind of felt like I let you guys down with the lack of being on a schedule. I know I have tried to promise to stay on the right track for you guys but recently found it extremely hard to stay on the right track. I kind of blame myself for it as I never recovered after the trip and wish I made time as I had that one day all to myself to get caught up on things and there was also a morning that I was up early but other nights I was up half the night unable to sleep and what not so that did not help whatsoever but finally was able to sleep at night and ready to continue to make up for what I have fallen behind on and on schedule again as of tomorrow night.

Change can be hard and as I stated above, I have not had the easiest time with adjusting to the change honestly. You just have to try and adjust and if you have to adjust scheduling like I have done over time but sometimes it doesn't seem to work so you just gotta figure it out. I know it is not easy but you have to keep on trucking and never give up. I never really did that but yea I really thought about it honestly. There was a point the other day I was ready to say the heck with Everything About Reality TV but then again you guys reminded me why the heck I am doing this podcast and I have had one heck of a run so far and it's nowhere near finished yet and plenty of more episodes and seasons to come. I just gotta keep it up and hoping and saying a prayer for guidance as the last few weeks haven't been the easiest thing for me honestly but it just gives me more oomph to keep on going with the podcast. Yes there will be a day when my podcast will stop all together but I have said this many times in the past that I do have a plan and in time you will know. Last point I would like to make in this post one of the most hardest changes I had to make was the departure and retired from YouTube back in 2016. It took me about 1.5 years to get the hang of things honestly and still hard even to this day. Change can be dealt with but you have to be able to adjust and let the change happen slowly but surely. Trust me it doesn't happen overnight, it will just take some time. Patience is indeed a virtue and you just gotta be patient through the change.

I Cannot Believe Everything About Reality TV Is On It's 11th Season!

Over the last 3.5 there has been a whirlwind of emotions from scheduling mishaps to hitting the 50th episode, 100th episode and 200th episode. From having Larry which I know I haven't said much about him. Also having Dave in the studio to see a recording of the podcast. As you know we started out out on YouTube which you know I retired from YouTube which you know the podcast didn't have a home so you can imagine the emotion behind it leaving and trying to rebuild this podcast after nearly a year on the air on the YouTube platform. Change wasn't the easiest thing to do from the time I went straight to Audio ONLY. Obviously started on Mixcloud, moved to Podcasts.com and the rest is pretty much history with the podcast now on 13 platforms currently. This year the podcast saw it's 10th season plus the 200th which is two accomplishments together. I honestly wasn't sure if this was going to be around this long and yes I have stated in the past month that I am burnt out from doing this too long but I am just addicted to Reality TV, I cannot stop watching the shows and talking about it. Honestly it has been a big part of my life now and being part of the Reality TV community, it has been such an amazing experience.

I honestly do not see Everything About Reality TV Podcast ending anytime soon, it is definitely here to stay as there is rumors that Survivor will be around up to 40 seasons at this point which they could change the format of the game so there could be a new show that spins off of Survivor down the road so I see that being a steady pace. I know I am guaranteed something down the road too. Amazing Race US I do not know, right now they have 32nd season and it is unclear if they will do a 33rd season so I am not going to jump to any conclusions right now. Amazing Race Canada and Big Brother Canada both have been doing well in the ratings minus Big Brother Canada going on hiatus for a very short time but I am sure this podcast isn't going anywhere anytime soon, as there will be new Reality TV shows to cover and yes I do have other plans in stored if this podcast ends up on a hiatus and already got alternate plans ready to go and something different from Reality TV. However I will cover that on Wednesday's post for you guys and what is in the plans etc.

Lion King Movie Review

This isn't the original Lion King, I am reviewing but the real life version of The Lion King. Anyways same story line as the cartoon back in 1994 which I remember very well. Anyways the difference tho it was real life footage but like I said the lines were the same and you will recognize one voice who did the voice of Darth Vader, he reprised his role as Musfasa the dad to Simba. The rest of the cast was pretty much new voices technically but it was so easy to actually pinpoint and I did whisper to my mom that I swear I heard James Earl Jone's voice as he has that distinctive voice that is so easy to know it's him. I did some research on the voices and the cast and I think I only saw one that was revised their role but I could of been wrong and you guys can correct me in the comments if I am totally wrong on what I said and I can fix it. I can say the movie it was very nice to see again as I haven't seen it in at least 20 years since I was in early in my elementary years like Grade 4 or something like that so I was really excited to see the movie. Also when they played Circle of Life, I got those same chills the first time I said the movie when I was in my childhood so it gave me a ton of excitement.  The one voice I didn't know was Beyonce as I didn't know she voice Nala in the movie.

Now the movie I'd give a 5 out of 5 obviously as I know the plot and the story line to the movie and enjoyed the movie and it sure brought back memories of my childhood. I highly recommend the movie especially for the kids. I think it is great that they did a real life version of this and the other real life movie I would like to see since we are on the topic of movies they re did in real life versions is Aladdin which is another movie I remember and would also like to see as well down the road. I am now getting into these movies since they are bringing em back into real life version of the movies. If I have to I will indeed will wait till it comes out onto DVD as it has been out for quite sometime now in the theaters so I am going to wait as this week in 2 days from now will be going to see Spider-Man: Homecoming which is now out in theaters and yes I will do a non spoiler post eventually this week at some point. It was hard to write this as most of you remember the original movie from 1994 and I promise to give you more in depth review on the next movie I see which will be on Tuesday and a Wednesday review!

Appleby's Restaurant- Watertown, NY Food Review

This is one of the toughest ones to actually write as I had not such a great experience. Now we mind you if you remember the post about the trip I did mention this restaurant well this is going to be the toughest one yet. So we got there, quaint place and very busy around the lunch hour but that's OK, we managed to not wait long before getting our seat. We ordered drinks and of course our food. We got our drinks and ended up waiting little over 30 minutes for food. Now that day I just wanted to get home, I was ready to get back on the road and home bound but we waited and waited. My mom and dad asked when our food and they went to check. They said it's coming and yet the food still didn't show the heck up and I was furious and losing my patience with them. I kept saying to my parents let's just walk out as enough was enough and the waiter overheard me saying that and ended up getting the manager as we felt frustrated. Manager came and said it is coming and that we wouldn't have to pay it was on them so that was really nice of him. However I wasn't remotely happy with the fact we had to wait this long for the food but in the end it is what it is.

Now to the actual food that I had was a Quesadilla Burger with Tomatoes, lettuce, cheese, red onions. Now it tasted very good and the burger was very juicy and never had a burger on a Quesadilla and this was an all time first for me honestly. I had fries with it on the side and those were tasty, not gooey. They were nice and crispy and the the flavor was really nice too, like some pepper on the fries which gave it flavor actually. The food I'd give 5 out of 5 all day long. There was nothing clearly wrong with the food, it was more the wait that really bothers me the most of this experience. The restaurant I am giving a 3 out of 5, despite the really long wait and I was going to be giving it a 1 but being generous as we did not have to pay for the food due to this inconvenience. I probably wouldn't go back at this particular location in the town but probably wouldn't be back through that town anyways as we are not planning to go back that way right now. Like I said to conclude these food reviews, this wasn't the easiest one to write to be honest but I am glad I am able to do these reviews. Next review will be a movie review of the Lion King Movie tomorrow morning.

You Got Me, The Rest of The Summer!

I know things did not pan out with YouTube but what the heck can you do? Since I got home, I thought things were going well honestly. Till this whole entire YouTube thing, now the podcast is back on Audio ONLY as it is just pathetic after what happened and I am now over it and fully am retired from YouTube. Anyways I am pretty all yours for the remainder of the summer. The schedule this week is a bit screwy as most of you know I am just not active on social media lately, I went M.I.A. from it all and the reason is I have been spending a good amount of time with my niece and nephew but after today I am all yours, yes my Aunt and Uncle are coming from British Columbia but I will always have time for you guys honestly. Yes I am back on Twitch on weekend streams but may do an a late night stream when my parents are away, never know! Either then that I am promising by next week to get the schedule right finally! The last week and a half has been a whirlwind of craziness with drama as you know from the previous blog late last night. I am not going anywhere and I will be definitely around my studio a lot more and ready to record twice a week and only a month left honestly of Amazing Race Canada 7 which is crazy and it will be an interesting finish as it is anyone's game honestly!

I promise by this weekend I will be more active on social media as I said before I have been very quiet and part of it was cause I was in one of my moods also instead of that weight loss update which now has been screwed over by the amount of food I had, I am planning a review about the Lion King movie as I just saw it yesterday with my parents, niece and nephew. So some new stuff is coming as tomorrow I wrap up the Boston trip food reviews. I am looking forward to the ton of content I have for you guys over the course of August from podcast content to new topics and ideas to talk with you guys and the occasional rant, especially with the recent stunt a certain platform pulled on me which I did discuss last night which I am certainly entitled to my opinion and I was being nice compare to Tuesday afternoon when I was entirely fired up over it. However a certain podcast that is in the pre-production stages is being planned to be streamed over on Twitch down the road once I build up my twitch audience too! More information to come in the near future once I know I am going to definitely do that!

Cheers, Boston Food Review!

The last place I went to on the trip in the way of eating was Cheers and yes I realize it is the name of the TV Show. Also it was the actual set of where they filmed the TV Show back in the days in the 80's into the early 90's. Yes I have seen an episode to see if I actually like the show and I did! I plan to watch more down the road too! Anyways comparison from back then to now its different. At one point it use to be a wide open as a bar but now has the front room which is quite quaint honestly and a back room with more space for eating and what not but still quaint place and really looks like the actual bar from the actual show which actually it is what my parents actually told me so. However it was filmed in Los Angeles technically. The bar was inspired for the show!
Now to the food part of it  I had a Cesar Salad with a nice home made mac and cheese. The mac and cheese was so creamy and gooey but really super delicious. Cesar Salad I had was so fresh and was exactly like the way my mom makes it here at home from time to time. Overall the experience of Cheers In Boston was great, the server she was so amazing! Big shoutout to her, I think her name was Sarah but that seems too long ago about 2 weeks now since we were there but either way she was really nice! I would give Cheers a 20 out of 5 as it was above and beyond our expectations compare to the food review that is about to come up in the less then 2 days, Friday to be exact as I am not for one looking forward to reviewing it and been dreading it for the past little while now but I have to deal with it and I will try to stay positive and nothing negative for the blogs sake which I have so far in the last 600 + posts I have done over the years. Tomorrow I am doing something different so stay tuned for that!

Have a great night! Sorry this is extremely late as I have been spending time with my niece and nephew lately!
