Gearing Up For The Next Collab With Larry

               Well, it is coming pretty much the fall now and it is that time once again to actually get prepped up for the next set of collabs with Larry once again. It will be a short 2 months till both him and I are behind the mics again recording the next two podcasts. What Power Rangers Collab podcast are next? Well Power Rangers Zeo and Power Rangers Turbo are next on the list and it is quite exciting to be moving forward with these collabs and like I said before, it comes out a couple of time a year, 4 to be exact. Honestly it takes time to watch the entire season, take notes, type it up so that is what I do between each recording and this does take some time to do that and hours in per day. I was having doubts posting up the last 3 collabs I did with Larry and had thoughts about discontinuing the collaboration podcast but he talked me back into it and it is a fun kind of podcast to do and hes right it is a lot of fun. It is a tough process at times but worth it in the end as the end product looks and sounds really good.


                 The long term goal is him and I planning to go right to Super Ninja Steel down the road so we will be collaborating for a very long time from here on out twice a year and we are doing this out of the passion as we both grew up with the show and its kind of nice to remember our childhood too, plus him and I are bunch of nerds when it comes to this show so that is another factor for the two of us as well. As of next spring, him and i will be done the Zordon Era and moving into Lost Galaxy and Lightspeed and so forth. I am going to say that these collab podcasts aren't going anywhere, anytime soon and I am glad Larry came up with this idea. Even with him not part of staff anymore, he is still highly involved with CBOTW which is nice as hes given me so many ideas to move forward, even on my own as well. The CBOTW Show- Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Talk Is Underway!

            So 2 days ago, both Larry and I got together and got to sit down and record and talk about Season 1 of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers and I can tell you he told me Monday evening that he really enjoyed himself. I mean it took me months of planning and getting ready and figuring out how to do this podcast and Sunday showed that I was very much ready and prepared to go for what is to be a great podcast. I know it was nothing but the most talked about on the discussion group for the last 8 to 9 months even when it was in the pre-planning stages for this podcast. Actually if I remember correctly, this was planned way before the birth of The CBOTW Show Podcast, before I came up with this name. Only reason I waited this long was I was currently in the production Recapping Music City on CMT which mind you even on the off season has become even more popular on the podcast. 


               I knew once Music City wrapped up, I had to fill the void with this podcast and I decided once Big Brother Canada & Survivor Ghost Island wrapped on the other podcast it was time to start production of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Talk and only reason we delayed was because of the renovations in the main level (aka the kitchen) at the time. It was an appalling mess at the start of the month so we still got together, discussed the plans. Which  brings me to my final point of this post, which is 2 days ago we got together despite the power being out in the early morning, I was in panic but it came on close to 745 am EST so it eased my stress levels quite a lot. I admit we had fun and we recorded a little over an hour. I looked up at the right hand side screen it was already 30 minutes, then I looked back 20 minutes later, it was 50 minutes and we were still talking about Power Rangers. We had quite the conversation going and I admit I know him and I am a bunch of nerds but hey that's OK With me! Lastly, I can see The CBOTW Show Podcast doing great things in the future.

The Day Larry Flipped Off The Camera...

          I will never forget this day and it is kind of appropriate for a Throwback Thursday Story as Larry and I are under the same roof for the next 24 hours for the Big Brother Canada 6 Finale and this is only fitting to bring Larry into the picture as both him and I have spoken about him flipping off the camera during  a filming of my web series.


           So this goes back to The Entertainment Man Talk Show seasons 5 or 6, it is hard to remember, I believe it was the Finale for Season 5 actually as it was the last episode of the 5th season which is now a loss season along with Season 6 as well. I did my final sign off which mind you I plan on going back to my old sign off on my podcasts like the old days as it was a popular sign off for me. Anyways I did my sign off and Larry and he came into the camera with his drink as he decided to flip off the camera. At first I was pissed with him the fact he gave the middle finger so I wasn't one bit happy whatsoever. Now you're going to ask me, Chris why didn't you re shoot the final closing? We did it in one take and I didn't know he flipped off the camera until it was placed up onto YouTube and I replayed it on YouTube myself. I was like oh crap, he really did that didn't he? It was too late as it was already published on YouTube.


             Did we get into trouble with YouTube? No, we were lucky to get away with it actually. We got no comments whatsoever mentioning Larry's action on the camera as we tried to keep the episodes clean and appropriate for YouTube. Looking back at this situation and memory of the episode that is now lost forever as I never saved any episodes whatsoever. But I have some regrets not watching back the clips as I edited and I should of always look back at what was filmed before releasing it publicly as I did not want to offend you guys in anyway shape or form so it was a major mistake I made and I think if that was on YouTube now, it would probably be labeled as not family friendly content and would be restricted on the platform. So I now know to edit the content before posting up any podcast/interview or blog contents.
