Trying to stay on Schedule...

            It's all about getting into the swing of things, getting the hang of the schedule and with Entertainment Man Podcast ending, it will open up a lot more doors for me. There should be certain recording days and post up days and one of the reasons we are like backlogged and Malcolm in The Middle this week is taking a week off as there is so many things happening this week from Entertainment Man Podcast Finale for the entire podcast to After Hours with Shane and Chris and of course Survivor which will be out tonight. 

       

           Sometimes, I just think I overdo things when it comes to the podcasts and shows but I am slowly understanding the time crunch behind all the shows but I have better understanding now that I need to set recording dates for the shows for example, After Hours with Shane and Chris are typically recorded on Friday evenings and up late on Saturday nights. So The CBOTW Show needs some set dates itself and here are a couple of examples Wednesdays as that is the normal day for Bob and I when we need to record and Thursdays when it's Larry and I but I could swing him to Wednesdays. Plus this fits into the Survivor schedule as well Wednesday nights after the Survivor 50 episodes. Just food for thought and that is the post for now and I will talk to you all at 1 pm EST for a SPECIAL Post.

The CBOTW Show Expands Into Two Distinct Divisions

           Your eyes do not deceive you — The CBOTW Show is officially expanding into two separate content divisions.

As part of our long-term network growth strategy, we are structuring the show into focused departments to better serve our audience and streamline our content.

The CBOTW Show: TV & Movies

This division will focus on scripted television series and films, including current and past favorites such as:

• Corner Gas

• Malcolm in the Middle

• Ghostwriter (currently on hiatus)

The CBOTW Show: Reality TV Recaps

This division will focus exclusively on reality television coverage and recap content, including:

• Canada Shore (in development)

• Deal or No Deal (planned alongside other programming)

• Survivor 50: In the Hands of the Fans (premiering Saturday at 6 PM EST)

The CBOTW Show Returns Next Week

The CBOTW Show officially resumes with new recordings scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday:

Wednesday:
Recording episodes of Corner Gas, revisiting the humor and memorable moments that made the series a standout Canadian sitcom.

Thursday:
Launching my recap series of Malcolm in the Middle, covering five episodes per installment. These recaps will include analysis, character highlights, and reflections on why the series continues to resonate with audiences.

Looking Ahead

As for Larry and me, we’ve completed testing and are fully prepared to resume recording together when the time is right. At this stage, we anticipate that return happening in Fall 2026 or possibly January 2027.

Until then, I’ll continue bringing you consistent content and updates. After nearly 12 years on this journey, your support remains the driving force behind everything I do. The growth may take time, but the progress is real — and we’re moving in the right direction.

Re-Adjusted Our Links for Booking Podcasts & Shows!

                We have or I have readjusted the links for booking all shows and podcasts as we do not need the main one right now as we do not offer any services and I do want to add some, heck, I'd like to add merch to our website eventually too for you guys to purchase as part of the CBOTW Fam. Anyways, off topic; all 3 shows are different and I will explain each show starting with the oldest to the newest ones:

The CBOTW Show- It is an hour and 15 minutes intervals for shows that we collaborate with. So times vary from day to day as we need a few minutes between calls to go to the next call. No weeks will be blanked out as for the other show and only days off is Sundays as it is normally my day off.

Entertainment Man Podcast: Entertainment Man Podcast is 1 hour per session, however once a week is booked I make the remainder of the week unavilable and so forth with future weeks as well. I will get you onto the show, don't worry.

After Hours with Shane & Chris: After Hours with Shane and Chris is weekly once the weekly spot is gone, then we move forward to the next week.

           Anyways that is the blog post for today, hope this explains things especially with trolls 2 years ago saying they cannot see their booking as that isn't how the booking works. Only way you can see it is in you're email and as for where for the call we've decided on Streamyards. Anyways enough of my rants, I will talk to you all tomorrow.

Corner Gas Returns next week to air!

          As of next Tuesday, a week from now, Corner Gas will be back on the air. I apologize for no episode this week, just been so busy to get an episode out but next week, we will be back next week airing episodes of Corner Gas. I am excited to record tomorrow and getting back into the grind of the episodes and closing in to the finale of the second season. That should be done in April at some point and we move into Season 3.

         It will be so much fun and I have enjoyed it. I do not know what will happen when we close in to EP 18 and it will make no sense but this is what I am thinking:

This Week's Recording- Corner Gas, Season 2, EPS # 9 - 12

Corner Gas- Season 2, EPS # 13 - 16, then

Corner Gas- Season 2, EPS # 17 & 18.

         The end of the season there is only 2 and that hasn't been addressed yet. I will be sure to ask Bob tomorrow about that but that is everything I needed to say and the post for today and as always talk to you all tomorrow.

Changes For the better Good of our website, podcasts and shows!

        This have been long coming. I have kicked the bucket with the provider we were using wasn't reliable and was always down and our players weren't working so we decided to use Podbean for all shows. Right now Podcast and shows are down and do not know how long it will be down but the extent of the damage is great. It will take me a while to work on it and I am working on it on my own, 0 help with figuring out the code nothing so it will take me a lot of time. 

      Also as I stated in the newsletter last night, After Hours with Shane & Chris moved along with the changes from the other provider and we are now housed on Rumble and honestly the views have been better then the other platform we use to be on once upon a time. We have embedded it to our website and works great. 

         Also about page, FAQ, schedule for content  and any of the other pages are going to be under some work as well and will be the first stage to update all the other pages so they stay active at all time. The CBOTW Show- Malcolm in the Middle [Updates]

            As you know in April, Malcolm in the Middle: Life's Still unfair is coming out and I believe it is April 2026 when it is coming out and I want to cover it. Kind of why I am stalling when it comes to Larry's return, sorry Larry but it will be worth it in the end. So starting next week on Tuesday (temporarily also on Tuesdays to fill in for Bob) will be the first 5 episodes and we will do them 5 at a time and yes the last 3 is just three so I will actually add in Season 2. 

         After next week it will just be on Thursdays for the foreseeable future but what we can do if we start recording in May or June with Larry and I, we can always schedule it in when there is a spot available or we can even open up the Saturday slot sooner then we thought. There is so many decisions and angles that we could go with The CBOTW Show- TV & Movies and why I created the Saturday @ 6 pm EST spot in case. Making MAJOR Changes!

             Reality TV Podcasts will NEVER have it's own feed, I will be merging it to The CBOTW Show- TV & Movies Feed as one. That is if we do Reality TV and I doubt it at this moment. Two I have decided to not hiring anyone else at the moment and leaving the team as it is at the moment with the help of my administrative assistant, it makes things a heck a lot of things easier for me and the rest the team. I am thankful for my Global Moderators, Tacofreak08 & Kevin for always keeping the community, clean, positive at all times. 

             Anyways the three shows you see in our network will be the main 3 running and eventually I do want to add Kevin, to cover Deal or No Deal Island, seasons 1 & 2 & also add in Dancing with The Stars next season with Mary so there will be a few expansions here and there and it will all be part of The CBOTW Show- TV & Movies. With these changes will come more collaborations. Anyways that is the post and I will be doing another post at 1 pm EST so I will talk to you all then.

End of the Week Updates! [01-31-2026]

             Another has come to an end which means time for the end of the week updates! I had some interesting ideas in the back of my mind so here are the updates:

Newsletter: I was thinking about doing the newsletter and these end of the week updates. Might extend the newsletter and changing things around, keeping the end of the week updates for here and the new and what's upcoming for ChrisBOnTheWeb, events, podcasts, podcast updates and what not. 

Entertainment Man Podcast: I have come to terms that Entertainment Man Podcast will NEVER return to video whatsoever. I am totally OK with that to be quite honest. 

Working on Corner Gas: The next step is to get Corner Gas going for next week as I am recording with Bob in a week and a half from now so it is on the dire need to get finished first. 

Ghostwriter: There has been movement on the series wanting to return and Larry practically asked me to start working on it or have I worked on it which I haven't lately. 

The CBOTW Show: To replace Larry and I's podcast while it's being worked on and Larry settling down in his new home, I will be doing probably an array of things such as Malcolm in The Middle; Malcolm in the Middle: life's still uunfair, Groundhog day.

           Anyways those are the updates for the week and newsletters will be returning with some different between both and maybe our newsletter we will focus on community events, podcasts, live streams, blog updates, etc. I am going to try this out and it should be active the pop up once again here on our website but as always talk to you guys on Monday, enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Next week I go solo on Thursdays for a while!

             Next week, starts my solo career on Thursdays as Larry is not available at the moment as he just moved and I will be talking to him next week on a video call through Discord to do some testing so we are going to be starting a testing phase. Here is what I am thinking moving forward for the month of February for both Tuesdays and Thursdays:

Tues. Feb 24th, 2026: Corner Gas, Season, EP # 11, Hurry Hard [Bob & Chris]

The CBOTW Show Chatter....

             There has been a lot of chatter in regards to The CBOTW Show- TV & Movies and Reality TV Recaps. The chatter with the two podcasts both under the same show name but two different feeds. We're again making that shift back into the Reality TV Podcasts as Billy really wants to be involved and I am going to let him do the recaps even if I pop on my once and a while. So that is exciting as we gear up for Survivor 50. 

             The other end of the line with the regular show, the TV & Movies Recaps, Larry and I have been talking about the return. We have gone through everything, testing is the first thing as we didn't have a ton of time to test on his laptop and we failed at the Streamyard and was a bit of a problem for him still and I saw him but it wasn't connecting. Anyways we will be testing Discord out to make sure it is ready to go. So the timeline isn't very clear as I already stated to Larry that I will have to watch the shows then mail him the notes so it will take some time for it to get up to him. Anyways that is the post for today and as always talk to you all tomorrow!

Reality TV Podcasts are done!

            For those who are in our little Facebook circle, The CBOTW Show- Reality TV Recaps has been scrapped entirely! Communication with the team behind the show lack luster so I am kind of taking this experience and flipping around to full focus on both "Entertainment Man Podcast" & "The CBOTW Show- TV & Movies" which I am going to and have already been calling it just "The CBOTW Show" even though the title of the podcast is different from how I say it. The schedule remains the same for right now Tuesdays with Bob & Thursdays with Larry which I have an announcement for it tomorrow @ 1 pm EST.

          We will be adding into The CBOTW Show "Dancing With the Stars Recap with both Mary and I" and maybe, just maybe I will let her take the reigns as host for a change and I will be the co-host but we will see that is later on in the year and if they renew the show for another season but I am sure it will be gotta think positive and look forward to it as this will be my second season watching it. So we have a plan in place and Saturdays is a spare day for posting up episodes and I can always remanuever the episodes with Larry to Saturdays if I need to but we will play around with the schedules as we see fits. Anyways, as always I will talk to you guys tomorrow!

Any updates on Ghostwriter?

            I know it is January and right now, we are finishing up the first season and after that, there will be open slot on our schedule as Larry will be and has been on leave but I have seen and recieved messages and I've mentioned him on social media and people are wondering when? When are we going to go back? 

            Well I do not know but I can say next week, I will be working on the next batch of Ghostwriters with the same format as before and I believe it is a shorter season and so is season 3 so there should be no problem getting it done so we can move on to another series and we have another one picked out already! Anyways, I think and believe it will be either mid year or fall 2026 to early January 2027 when we return as you know I have to mail out his package of notes to him up north and that will take a bit of time as he's not local so I need time to work on that and get it out to him. So more like later in the year and Larry and I haven't discussed it and I am obviously writing this before he hops on and have 0 information but if I do by now, I will be sure to update you next week as that is the post for today and week, have a great weekend!

The CBOTW Show- Reality TV Recaps isn't done yet!

           The CBOTW Show- Reality TV Recaps isn't done! Survivor 50 & Traitors are on it's way and Traitors US Season 4 starts at the end of the week so that is indeed exciting for us and I will personally be covering it this season. If I need to jump onto Survivor 50 recaps, I will but we will figure a way around it as it's Billy's domain for the shows actually. I am just excited to be somewhat involved with a show either way even if it is several months apart. 

          This week on Friday @ 6 pm EST the first episode that will be released to you guys publicly and will be on both Video and Audio ONLY and I will talk about the schedules tomorrow on another blog post but expect more from the Reality TV Recaps as we continue to grow this network more and more and I know we are on the right track with shows and what not. Goals for 2026!

              Since we are now in 2026 it is time to specify our goals for 2026. Remember what I said on the second last motivational Friday start with small goals then go for the bigger ones, split up the goals into small ones:

Entertainment Man Podcast: Take a crack at mine and you guy's favorite podcast and try and regain your trust for just ending it with no notice nothing. 

The CBOTW Show- TV & Movies: Continue to collaborate with Bob and some other people, possibly even doing more Ghostwriter with Larry perhaps depending when he is ready to record again.  Also Dancing with the Stars Podcast with Mary is in the works as long as the show gets renewed. 

After Hours with Shane & Chris: Really take off with this new talk show and still possibly stream it to a site but not sure where and how at this moment. If not then record and post it on Saturdays @ 3 pm EST.

Hit 2 Million views! I know this is something I'd like to get to and we are currently closing in on that milestone. 

Collaboration: Would love to continue to collaborate with people and could bring back the Collaboration Podcast that would be website based even just as a collaboration perhaps. 

Finally get paid: We have been with adsense and we really hope and wish that we would start getting payments from Adsense as we need to hit the cap in ordered to be paid. 

Drama & Stress Free Year: This year I would like to have just 1 year without stress, problems and dramarama as that hasn't helped my mental health but besides the point. I want to remain focused to our goals to continue being successful.

Survivor 50 Recaps is a GO!

        The logo doesn't decieve you, The CBOTW Show- Reality TV Recaps is on it's way back and with Survivor 50 around the corner, Billy and I are getting ready to rip and roar through the Recaps all of Season 50 of Survivor 50: In The Hands of the Fans. Also it is out there we are looking for hosts for Traitors US for the New Years and I will be doing a post again next week as we continue to press the idea of expanding our network further. 

       Eventually it will happen where we will expand the network but baby steps to growing the network. The ideas I have for expanding is Traitors US; Traitors Canada; Amazing Race; Amazing Race Canada & of course Big Brother US. However that is a little bit extragious at the moment so Survivor 50 is the only one on the list plus Traitors but other then that Survivor 50 is most definitely a GO with Billy. Working away on podcasts and the website!

            Still working away on Corner Gas and need to finish the final 2 episodes with Bob and hope next week or two we can get back into that once again and that it won't be delayed in the New Year as I keep on procrastinating every single time. Also I have the episode with Larry to edit and need to record two more episodes. Also have done some tech work and I see why the sound was off compare to what it was before, I had automatically adjust mic and that was an issue before and hopefully this crap doesn't replicate but time will tell when Bob and I hop back on a call. 

          Website wise I am already on Season 3 of 6 so halfway there video video wise but need to continue to work on it but it isn't a full priority right now as I have to maintain the current and active podcasts is the most upmost importance right now and it is totally understandable to get all the content, podcasts and blogs that need to be done, done. I will talk more about it on my social media streams this weekend and I will talk to you all tomorrow for a bonus blog post.

Busy Week for Us!

                This week will be a busy week for us. Corner Gas is being recorded once again with season 2 now days away from the recording session. Also we will be or I will be working on Christmas Movies for the month of December. Editing and scheduling episodes will be the upmost priority for us. Once I finish that, I hope I can get back to working on Entertainment Man Podcast.

                 Speaking of that I have decided to keep the episodes up on all platforms for your binging pleasure. I also will be changing the audio to video eventually once I hit the 2022 mark then the video versions will be popping up. So it will be a very busy week and weeks ahead of us in the way of content and plus possibly heading to the Halton County Radial Museum as well. It depends on my schedule with family. It will remain up unless something indefinitely changes but Tyrone Parade of Lights is a GO this Wednesday as I do not have anything scheduled. Anyways that is the post and keep an eye out on social media for any cancellations or changes and I will talk to you tomorrow.

The CBOTW Show- Reality TV Recaps

              2026 is going to be the year of new shows surrounding the already hit podcast The CBOTW Show- TV & Movies, we have After Hours With Shane and Chris and of course The CBOTW Show- Reality TV Recaps which Chris wants to do a post on Monday where the inspiration came from this. Starting in late February 2026 Billy will be launching the first Reality TV Show on this sister podcast to the already acclaimed successful podcast.

            Chris has noted he will be Billy's right hand when it comes to Survivor 50: In The Hands of The Fans Recaps each and every week. What I gather it will be on Audio ONLY and that was Chris's decision before bringing Billy into the fold when it comes to Reality TV Podcast. In December which is in 5 days away Chris will be releasing information on how to get involved as he is planning to expand it a tad more once again. However time will tell on expanding on shows, enjoy the rest of your day and I shall return tomorrow.

Ghostwriter Series Hiatus [The CBOTW Show- TV & Movies]

                 Ghostwriter series that Larry and Boss Man are recording has stopped recording, the recording sessions are on hiatus currently. But when the last 4 air, that will be the last one for a while. He has stated he is not sure how long it will be but end of January it will be indeed Chris taking over the Thursday airwaves of The CBOTW Show- TV & Movies. 

                  Excited to see what he brings to the table and he's told me a few ideas in the back of his head while watching The Santa Claus movie with Tim Allen.  One of them being a Tim Allen Show called Home Improvement as he wants to bring the nostilga to the podcast and one of the reasons why he created The CBOTW Show back in 2018 with Larry was this exact reason why he did it. Another one was him bringing Shifting Gears to the Podcast with Tim Allen another one of his series he's been in. He may do a public poll to see what you guys think he should do.
