Website Looks a ton Better!

              Our website looks a ton better! Less drop downs and more images to click on. I know that sounds a little odd but it seems to work better and one hub for all of our episode which makes life so much better for us. The numbers actually show the changes are positive and that is what we want to happen is to have positive numbers when it comes to these changes to our website which is great!

              I am still experimenting with things wit hthe site but for the most part I am done fooling around and we are now at 100% done and I am happy with the changes so we move on and continue to focus on the content side of things which is most definitely important. Any feedback or suggestions are always welcome and as always I will talk to you all tomorrow!

Added Back an old feature to our website!

         We have added a feature, well wouldn't call it a feature but to make it fair to everyone, we have added the Facebook feed when I go live each and every week. It is a great idea as not everyone has Facebook and with the change and AI, a lot of people have left the platform I'm sure. There is a chat with chatango and you can sign in as a guest to chat if you wish. You do not need to sign in, you can just guest during the live streams.

         Please note I will also be Live on TikTok so I will be monitoring all 3 chats on all 3 screens. This is very exciting for us but it is difficult for us to keep an eye out on the Kick stream so that is why it isn't on the schedule but Sunday afternoons you have me for the afternoon and Sundays is my normal schedule with random. So with these changes, comes more interaction from us, the team. I look forward to the chat tomorrow and I will be back for another post tomorrow so as always talk tomorrow.

Website Work resumes in a week or two!

            This week, I will be focusing on podcasts and recording a few weeks worth of Malcolm in the Middle for the Thursday spot. Plus Corner Gas episodes today and by the time this is released it will be done and recorded and ready for the editing and next week should mend that gap which didn't go as according to plan as Rogers decided to go and screw up those plans and I had to re-schedule both shows yesterday. Thanks Rogers... for nothing. 

          Anyways website work resumes in 2 weeks for right now as podcasting has taken the president of everything else right now and that's OK. We will be without our two podcast pages right now while it's being worked on and fixed. You can still find the podcasts on Spotify, iTunes, Amazon Music or Podcasts, you name it, we've got it! Changes For the better Good of our website, podcasts and shows!

        This have been long coming. I have kicked the bucket with the provider we were using wasn't reliable and was always down and our players weren't working so we decided to use Podbean for all shows. Right now Podcast and shows are down and do not know how long it will be down but the extent of the damage is great. It will take me a while to work on it and I am working on it on my own, 0 help with figuring out the code nothing so it will take me a lot of time. 

      Also as I stated in the newsletter last night, After Hours with Shane & Chris moved along with the changes from the other provider and we are now housed on Rumble and honestly the views have been better then the other platform we use to be on once upon a time. We have embedded it to our website and works great. 

         Also about page, FAQ, schedule for content  and any of the other pages are going to be under some work as well and will be the first stage to update all the other pages so they stay active at all time. Anyways that is the blog post for today, Malcolm in the Middle episodes in one podcast coming tomorrow, shorts tonight and as always I will talk to you all tomorrow!

Changes to our Website Also!

             Well aren't we the barrier of news and it is good news actually! With The CBOTW Show- Reality TV permanently shutdown, we have also shutdown the Reality TV Page or more importantly removed off our website and off our archives page as well.  This makes room for other things in our archive pages as well. So these are just necessary changes that need to be bad so we can move forward with our plans with the website.

              As you know the three shows that we have currently running but also the FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) is due for a major overhaul along with the Terms of Use as well. Two things left on our list of things to complete with the website. Also the Discord needs finalizing. Anyways that is not what I'm talking about but that is the next thing plus working on new episodes, we're keeping busy. Anyways that is the post for tonight and as always talk to you all tomorrow.

Website Changes Galore!

            As you can tell, we have updated the website and here is more details on the changes.

Removed: After Hours with Shane and Chris ended before it began due to tech issues but you guys knew that but that page has been removed. The CBOTW Show- Reality TV Get involved is removed and down but it will be returning in the spring to expand our network. Chat has been removed due to inactivity and just better we use social media.

Updated: The FAQ (Frequently Asked questions), Meet The Team, Entertainment Man Podcast, The CBOTW Show- TV & Movies, Community Schedule (for content.) Archives have been updated on our website to assure the entire website is totally up to speed.

Re-Added: Well added wise, we re-added events to the list but under it's own page called "Events" and can be found there and is active. We also re-added "The CBOTW Show- Reality TV Recaps" as it is becoming an active show on our network.

         I know it's a ton of updates and hopefully we can leave things alone minus updating the podcast pages as shows come through the week and are posted but for now that is the post for today and I will talk to you all tomorrow!

Goals for 2026!

              Since we are now in 2026 it is time to specify our goals for 2026. Remember what I said on the second last motivational Friday start with small goals then go for the bigger ones, split up the goals into small ones:

Entertainment Man Podcast: Take a crack at mine and you guy's favorite podcast and try and regain your trust for just ending it with no notice nothing. 

The CBOTW Show- TV & Movies: Continue to collaborate with Bob and some other people, possibly even doing more Ghostwriter with Larry perhaps depending when he is ready to record again.  Also Dancing with the Stars Podcast with Mary is in the works as long as the show gets renewed. 

After Hours with Shane & Chris: Really take off with this new talk show and still possibly stream it to a site but not sure where and how at this moment. If not then record and post it on Saturdays @ 3 pm EST.

Hit 2 Million views! I know this is something I'd like to get to and we are currently closing in on that milestone. 

Collaboration: Would love to continue to collaborate with people and could bring back the Collaboration Podcast that would be website based even just as a collaboration perhaps. 

Finally get paid: We have been with adsense and we really hope and wish that we would start getting payments from Adsense as we need to hit the cap in ordered to be paid. 

Drama & Stress Free Year: This year I would like to have just 1 year without stress, problems and dramarama as that hasn't helped my mental health but besides the point. I want to remain focused to our goals to continue being successful.

Utilizing our website and More!

                For those who have been wondering, I've been sick and have had this news for quite some time and you guys probably have seen the chatroom on our chat tab by clicking "chat" and you can easily access the chatroom and I am usually in there pretty 24-7 with the exception when I'm out on my own or with friends or my family or I've stepped away from the desk or recording a podcast with someone, I am pretty much around unless I'm out and about or recording. 

             So this is why the website has been undergoing a lot of changes to prepare it for major use as of 2026 as we want the website to be more active and we may actually add Saturdays to the blog list. We have also been actively seeing if we can do audio with After Hours with Shane and Chris and I know we can as that is what we've been doing with all our podcasts from the get go. So you will see Staff on the website chats more, we will be answering emails and social media posts and our plan for 2026 is to be more connected to you guys, answering your questions, concerns, compliments and what not. Anyways that is the blog a bit of a sporadic blog as I wanted to come on and I will explain more on a sit down video where on earth I've been the past almost week now and I will talk to you all on Monday (tomorrow) if this goes out by Midnight EST.

Change of Plans!

            As you can know I was planning to add video but that has changed as I am only uploading the audio only for this podcast as seeing the views gone up, I have decided to remove the video side of things and put it up on via the player on our website moving forward. Once this is done, we can officially move the heck on. I also will be OFFICIALLY deleting the feed once all old episodes are downloaded off the feed.

      Once that has been completed, then we are ready for the future and during the break from recording, I will be finishing this project up and when I said I want to have this finished by January 1st, 2026, I meant it! I just want to put this podcast to rest. Yes it was a fun project/podcast/show but it was time for me to move on to bigger and better things. Anyways that is the post for today as I have a ton more to write before the end of the year and as always I will talk to you all tomorrow.

Hope to have the website updated by end of the year!

           I really hope to have the website done, done by the end of this year as there are some things I need to complete:

Entertainment Man Podcast: Yeah that has been put on hold yet again and it can be done at anytime and I spoke about it on the blog earlier in the week about adding the Spotify Video and it really has proven the viewership. 

Get Involved: As Zoey said I am going to do the archives like page but it will be different then what we have with our archives it will have an explanation with where to go for to GET INVOLVED. It is very hard to explain but it will once it is done. I am still working on the concept behind it while I work on Entertainment Man.

          These are two major current projects I need to get done and I believe that I will actually get it done by end of 2025 and ready for 2026 moving forward. I just wanted to do this post and I will have another post this afternoon @ 1 pm EST for the Tyrone Parade of Lights so I will talk to you all then!

Website- Phases

              This is the phases when it comes to the pages being completed one at a time:

The CBOTW Show- TV & Movies: This is the first page being completed as this is a current and active podcast and this page needs to be completed in a timely matter. Status: Project Almost completed

The CBOTW Show- Reality TV Recaps: The second page to be worked on as it isn't currently active at the moment. Status: Current, Awaiting work being done. Should be done in the same day as the TV & Movies.

Entertainment Man Podcast: The final page out of the 3 that needs some updates with the player and will be the longest project to be completed. Status: Awaiting work being done

           There is the list not a lot but it takes time to work on but eventually I will get to it done at some point but for right now, I work on the first two then move on to the other one and Entertainment Man is in archives so it isn't mandatory and I can take my time on it. Been working on website stuff!

              I have been dabbling with the website a tiny bit and it will be done next week once all the podcasts pages will be worked on and we will get all the players but as I said it may take us a while to work on all of this so please do be patient. We will keep the current players on the episodes till we reach that particular point of working on it. However this may take weeks maybe month or so perhaps. It is hard to tell but been dabbling around with the site trying out new things including layouts and what not. 

           I haven't posted the changes but just been working around on things and that's OK if I am doing that but letting you guys know I have been dabbling around the site so you may see a couple of changes and there will be more coming but one step at a time. This week is catching up on episodes recording and editing then next week we go into the next phase of things. But anyways that is the post for today and as always I will talk to you all tomorrow!

Podcast Pages Players back to it's Original Player!

           This is in preparation mode as we are seeing what we need to switch back to the old players and if I remember off the top of my head Everything About Reality TV & Power Rangers Collaboration which is in our Archives have the old players already placed on the page but we will check when we start adding back in the old players. We may have to upload some episodes or a bunch of them as we did take a break from that player but that's OK though. 

          We will explore everything and see what needs to be completed and it will be released at the same time once it has been completed. If you see some pages that are already done don't be alarmed, we will announce once all the work is completed. This shouldn't take too, too long honestly.  Once I get started in replacing the players, I should get into a good rhythm and it will be completed quickly but I need to work on some things first for next week or so, please be patient but that will be it for the second blog. I'm sorry no blog yesterday, was out of town and no time to write anything and as always I will talk to you all tomorrow!

Have Been Making Some Changes to CBOTW Media...

           The decisions that we have made has been good decisions:

No More Kick: I have gracially RETIRED from gaming streaming and regular casting sites to focus on the podcasts which we now have 3 running and I will talk about that tomorrow with the schedule being revamped moving forward with an even better schedule.

Entertainment Man Podcast: The beloved podcast makes a return to the airwaves after a month of being off for a shortened 7th season with it returning for an 8th season in January 2026. The podcast will remain on Audio ONLY moving forward.

Discord: Revamping everything and reviewing the rules of the server including our roles on there as well and how we continue to do things till I am happy so it's an on-going project at the moment. We've been dealing with a ton of spam on our server at the moment.

Website: The website has been updated numerous time and we are merely doing that till we are ready and at this moment we are on track for January 2026 of our 3rd podcast in our network that is being added.

Website Re-Adjustments Continue...

         Archives are being reversed back to the old ways and we have deleted the 10th anniversary off our website and is no longer in the back end of the website at this point. Anyways we are eliminating anything that isn't necessary and our 10th was just about a year ago and our focus is on the content. That is the most important thing to us moving forward as content is key to our success and it has shown, look at the numbers for the month of September as we're over 100,000 views and it shows.

      Now we have moved "Archives" from the "Community" tab to the "Podcasts" tab. Why, you may ask and the reason behind it to fill a bit of a void as it looks bare and it is more fitting place for the archives that are now only focusing on archives for our former podcast shows. Small tidbit how this is possible and it is done with a table. It's amazing how simple coding can make things look really cool! Anyways, I just wanted to let you guys know of these major changes, even if it isn't really major but it is change. Anyways that is the post for today and as always I will talk to you all tomorrow.

100k for the month of September! [Record Breaking!]

           History in the making! In the almost 11 years of operation, we have never had just over 100k (100,000) views on our website. It means, we have done things correctly and we continue to grow each and everyday and continue the grind together as a team. We've started to get a good rythm going and gotta keep going with that rythm moving forward. 

          We're also at 1.5 Million on our website and it's crazy to see this number and it is you guys we want to thank for the love and support you guys have given us over the years. I am not surprised by the massive growth on our website and yes we have some growing pains with shows being cancelled left and right but we are going to work with what we have with The CBOTW Show- TV & Movies then add in After Hours with Shane and Chris or Chris and Shane, that hasn't been confirmed yet but slowly growing.Anyways that is the post for right now and I have a second post coming out this afternoon and probably a video from here in our studio.

Changes Made to the Website [Another Major Overhaul]

           The website went under another overhaul to erase anything even two of our podcast pages needed updates was Entertainment Man Podcast & The CBOTW Show- TV & Movies but other than that, content schedule, about our company, Frequently Asked Questions all got a major overhaul. We are going all in with the website. I have decided to bring back the coaching as well for a second try and it will be extra income to our company and to give back and help you guys get started or help you with any struggles you may have. 

           We are going ALL IN with ChrisBOnTheWeb.com and this is something we should of done sooner. We should of not returned to YouTube after last year. Because this year we have grown massively and let's say our time on the platform has come to an end finally. We've been on the platform since January 31st, 2008. It is time for us to grow our network and expand on our horizons and why it was necessary we do one final sweep of the website before we start moving on new episodes and we did it in a timely manner. Website is Completed!

              With all the craziness here at ChrisBOnTheWeb Media, we have completed the entire website. It is a lot better and easier to navigate and understand our schedules and what not. A lot of pages have been updated and it is a lot easier. I regret cramming everything together to be quite honest. I like simple and ChrisBOnTheWeb Media isn't simple as their is so much that goes into the day to day operations of the company and how we get everything done and one of the reasons I hired Julia which you guys didn't know as I have been hiding it since October but the cat is out of the bag. However, we have been working like a cohesive unit lately and have worked together as a team. 

           This is why things have been done in a timely manner and we are getting things off our list one by one and remember what I said on the podcast (Entertainment Man), "Teamwork makes the dream work." Something I totally live by and always use this lingo all the time because teamwork does make the team work. We have also found our groove and we are moving very quickly and have been making better "business decisions" which before it hindered our day to day decisions. I have learned so much as the Founder/CEO of this company over the years with lessons and why I have shared it with you guys on my podcast, "Entertainment Man Podcast." Chris and I Made a Decision!

              This is referencing our community chat if you go https://www.chrisbontheweb.com/p/chat.html We have a chatroom and it's just been there, we've not even mentioned the chat whatsoever but it is in the corner, well more like in the Community Tab at the bottom of the list. Chris I think he fixed it late last night. Chris and I are not removing chat yet again but we are doing it for security reasons due to some late night trolls on the chat, but as of 11 pm EST every night we will be locking chat as no anons (meaning no guests) as we cannot monitor that chatroom 24-7 we have work to do and our personal lives as well so it is not fair to always have it open to the spam. 

             The other decision we've made is with this website is to remove both embedded Calendly links as it is a route for trolling to happen when we take our jobs very, very seriously while having fun. Chris taught me that lingo actually recently, plus it was gathering up too much room on the website, so we just pitched the pages into the trash drop down menu and deleted it permanently from our website. So we've been very productive today, I am surprised he's starting to work again but it is nice to get back to some normalcy. Tomorrow's post I want to talk to you guys about is some of the games he's going to be playing and updating next week when he jumps back to blogs on Tuesday since it is Family Day Weekend here in Ontario so I will chat again @ 11 am EST tomorrow.

ChrisBOnTheWeb.com on The Move Again....

              Yes! ChrisBOnTheWeb.com is back on the move yet again. We have been maneuvering everything around on the website and some of the pages have made no sense and the drop down menus have been changed and I am still not happy with the amount of items and it really cannot be helped honestly but it is there. We also maneuvered enough room for a chatroom here on our website. Yeah it's a bit hard to cram a lot into the one website but I wanted to level up the website a bit more and add it as a feature. 

             We are always tweaking things on the website and I believe we are in a good place now. Especially now that both our (TOU) Terms of Use & (FAQ) Frequently Asked Questions has been updated we are more then ready for the next step and that's getting old and new content out. I know we've not uploaded old stuff and we're sitting on a studio update. Too much happening all at once. But that is the blog post for today and I will talk to you all at 11 am EST for a second blog post as I'm making up for yesterday but talk to you all then!
