Not Letting My Frustrations Get The Better of Me.

           I know ChrisBOnTheWeb Media has been a very frustrating thing for us and I will talk about two specific things today. First is AdSense, as you may know our income comes from the website and what is most frustrating is we've earned a penny here and there but after the month they should move it to the earn column. They tell us to not click ads and I don't, I don't actually see the ads I can't click on anything so it makes no sense. However the second part is the internet in the studio as our internet went in and out along with out TV too so it's been frustrating for us. 

         However I need to remember to not let the frustrations get the better of me. This is something that I cannot control, which I meaning the internet issues. I don't even think we can have a wire from the computer to the printer but the printer relies on us using the net but sometimes it's beyond our control. Now as for the AdSense issue, well that can be fixed actually. I could find a way to contact them about it and ask em why they've removed my pennies I've earned. I could also just let it go and keep grinding away. I think that is the plan moving forward but that is the blog post for today have a great weekend as Mark will be doing the "End of The Week Updates" and I will talk to you all on Monday!

Post Studio Re-Opening...

              For one the entire day went well minus a few hiccups as I wasn't use to another body in the studio technically. However that is not the point of this post. The point is after what happened and boy crap hit the fan royally with ChrisBOnTheWeb:

1) My Community Manager/Assistant quits on me and me hiring a new one right off the spot: which considering I was one lucky person to find her and she's not too far away if we need to meet up with one another which I am sure it will happen one day down the line. The one took something way out of context but it is what it is I am moving forward.

2) Tech Issues Galore: I try setting up Euro Truck Simulator and my computer freezes up. I tried streaming and just lag on my end so I ended up shouting and getting mad and I ended up doing the typical Chris fashion and ended up rage quitting and threatening to delete the CBOTW Studios channel which I won't cause it has Behind The Scenes on there that is going up Tuesday and Thursday of this week. 

3) Podcasts.com going down: This is the icing on the cake of the weekend from hell. I was all ready for the premiere and everything and Podcasts.com goes down and was down well past 24 hours and this was pre-written Saturday night so who the heck knows if it is up Monday morning but soon as it is back episode that is missing will be uploaded immediately and hopefully this doesn't interfer with other upload days or I will be even more mad and yelling and probably cursing and threatening em like I did Saturday night that I'd pull the podcast off of there for good and move to Castbox which is an option I am thinking about as it may be the only choice at this point cause I am tired of the issues with this platform.

               So post studio opening was rough but glad the actual day went fine. Just what happened after the fact that really peeved me right off and I just do not know what I wanna do with the podcast situation yet and I will probably have an announcement with the plan moving forward by Wednesday. That is my post, I will talk to you all tomorrow.

Where Was I Yesterday?

                  Yesterday was a stressful day.... Tech issues with sound for podcasting was not working and it was so frustrating it wasn't like me to do that and I thought I took my meds but apparently night. Anyways my computer wouldn't allow my mic so I hope that the mic issues are fixed. Also my keyboard stopped working and sounds like the keyboard was faulty unit so today if we can get off our hill today to exchange it. Anyways I wish I handled the stress better but to be honestly haven't had one of these days in a long time which is good. I think I just let the stress get the better of me. I am very thankful I still had the old keyboard which has a half a missing spacebar but I am going to keep it.

                I think I let the stress get the better of me and I have all these tools that I need to deal with it and I tried to walk away but I was stubborn. But hey I got it fixed so there is credit to give when credit is due. Everything is fixed. Just gotta remember the issue if it replicates then I can change it around but I was just set on postponing the podcast this weekend but that changed and I will make it clear I am scheduled to record as scheduled as long as the tech issues do not return. To be honest I was ready to throw out this PC but hey it still works and does the job for me till I get saved up. Anyways that is the post today thanks for allowing me to explain my absence yesterday as I was quiet yesterday but today, I will be active around the socials and I will talk to you all tomorrow!

Getting Entertainment Man Podcast's 2nd Season Off The Ground Wasn't Easy!

               Yesterday I got to record the first episode of Season 2 of Entertainment Man Podcast and boy it wasn't easy to get it off the ground honestly. So many technical issues that was actually caused by me as I seem to totally forget about my own setup here in the studio. Let me explain-- With the Mix-Minus setup here in the studio, I totally forgot if I have the speakers on while the microphone is live, you get major feedback squeal and trust me you can imagine the colorful language out of my mouth. It was quite frustrating for me.  So now when I record I have the speakers on while the mic is off then when it gets close I turn em down and if I have to edit it to the right spot in the intro that's fine. I was almost cancelled recording but I persevered and fixed the sound issues the sound levels like it was at once point. I couldn't sleep so I worked on editing the podcast and getting it scheduled for this weekend.

                Who would ever think I out of anyone would have technical issues on day 1 of record this series again. I think I just totally forgotten that I need to actually need to turn down the studio speakers as it actually affects the mics in studio. When I started to record I had no sound on the recording and squealing which I actually had the headphones on which hurt my ears and I am sure my parents were questioning all the ruckus down here. That being a nOOb at podcasting still there yet I've been doing this on and off for 6 years now and should be a professional at this by now. However you have to remember I am not familiar with Mix-Minus and didn't think it would be such a headache to turn things down or turn one thing down then but I have to get use to this setup as it's new to me and I will and this is why both Larry and I have been testing it non stop during recording and off the recording sessions and we are getting familiar with this setup. So in hindsight yes it was a messy start to season 2 but it will only get better from here on out. Gotta keep the positivity going!

OBS Has Become A Problem For Recording

               I can admit OBS has become a problem for me. As you guys know I had a podcast that didn't even remotely last very long. However  I was recording a video version of the podcast too and that didn't even remotely work as 13 mins was recorded and the rest was gone which really did tick me the heck off and annoyed. I have had a bit of issues with this program streaming but seemed to work on certain sites, cough cough YouTube, LOL. Anyways I just do not know what's going on with OBS why the recording only half and it could of been me pushing the wrong buttons which really wouldn't surprise me at all if that was the issue.  However OBS is a pain in my butt sometimes  but just gotta somehow deal with it if there is a point of time where I will have to use the software for example recording Power Rangers Podcast in case but I will try talking to the camera and see how long it lasts and maybe it was just me.


                However I had audio issues the first time around which was strike 1 then the second issue which is the 2nd strike. So as you can see my luck with these programs hasn't been the greatest. Just gotta try and figure things out for myself. I know I usually keep the technical issues to myself but this is or has gotten freakin ridiculous. Why do you think now I refuse to do video all together now. I just do not have the patience to deal with the technical issues and got my own issues as it is with my mixer acting up from time to time. Plus YouTube, well you guys know the story behind that but less headaches to deal with and this is why I wanna get the mix minus setup going so I can do away with OBS all together for good and get rid of it once and for all. I am just tired of the stupidity of issues and I am claiming I am remaining audio only once and for all as I just am over video casting moving forward. I know some of you may not like the decision but in the end it is my decision to not do video but doesn't mean any other podcasts like Billy's Sports Hour which is on hiatus and nothing really known on that project as Billy is assigned to Survivor as of the fall which I will address this week for you guys. Either or, I am very much happy with Audio ONLY and so is my team and we are going to keep it this way with the technical issues I am having currently having.

A Few Changes For Everything About Reality TV This Week....

       Well this week has been the week from hell.... Like literally the week from hell. It has been nothing but computer issues all week from computer running slow to internet issues to internet browser issues, I have seen em all this week. Unfortunately tonight the computer crashed which put the icing on the cake. The podcast that was on the desk top was lost, all the 45 - 50 minute podcast that was going to go up tonight, completely lost. So which brings me to this damn post and I didn't want to make this announcement but it has to come the heck out as things are not great right now and literally the studio got trashed in frustration.... 


              1)  Tuesday's episode is obviously scrapped and there is no Tuesday episode for this week. We just do not want to fall completely behind so what we are doing with Tuesday's notes is take that and add it into Friday's episode so adding in a bit more content like we use to have and put it into Friday's freakin episode. Yes he thought about my future with this podcast. Having other thoughts too but rather keep my comments to myself honestly. 


             2) The second part to this post is tomorrow's Survivor Edge of Extinction Episode will still be up at 9 pm EST as I want to make sure it goes up on time this time around and we hope by end of the week, we can take a breather and try and learn from this problems and know what to do in the nearby future.


               I am sorry this is happening but this is way beyond our control. We had to do damage control on this situation and try and salvage what is to happened and I speak for all of the team, we apologize for this situation and hope you will continue to tune in. I know this is sudden with it happening but we have to let you guys know what is going on one way or another. Hope you will all continue to listen and support CBOTW and will be making it up to you guys as we are spending all night fixing the issues we are currently experiencing at this moment.
