Weekly Updates [02-28-2025]

          It is time for another weekly update. First thing I want to address is the Twitch channel being permanently disabled and Chris is no longer using his account anymore and isn't streaming video games anymore. However he does the occasional live streams on Facebook, X and Instagram from time to time but not too often. Whenever there is time as he's become a very busy person recently. 

          He is still uploading and scheduling posts for the older episodes so he can continue to post up new content and he is between. We hope to be finished it by end of the weekend so we can move on with the next stage planning episodes. Not much more to say except our secret Discord project that has been in limbo as he's not worked on it whatsoever and has been busy with other projects. That are the updates and will chat with everyone end of next week.

Making a Few Adjustments to our Community!

              Our community is always changing and evolving. We have made an important decision when it came to me streaming over on Twitch. I only get 2 people and happens to be part of my staff, that's it. So I am going to focus on Facebook and Twitter Streams for right now. I just feel like I am not willing to stream if the streams are dead quiet all the time. I know Facebook and X I will be focusing on those two the most and the occasional Instagram Stream from time to time. So that is just a minor update. I want to primarily focus on our community, social medias, blogs and the podcasts as well. Don't worry I didn't buy the lights for nothing, still being used for podcasts and the social media streams as well. Was worth the investment.

              Also it is no secret that we have a Discord Server and we will be opening it to the public soon. Still working on it and building the channels and growing it so we have a nice little community. There is no ETA on the release of the public server but one thing is definite, we are not planning on having Mods at the moment but the Staff are always there to help in case there are problems but we will see what direction our server goes in. Anyways those are the two minor adjustments to our community and have a great weekend and talk Monday.

New LED lighting for our Studio Review

           So I have had a couple of days to use the new LED lights in the studio and I love em even though they are so bright but they have made life with streaming so much better especially with the green screen behind me that you see in the normal videos. This was something that was needed in the studio to complete the green screen effect on streams and podcasts.

           So the grade I would give it would be A+ as it is a great product and really lights up the space and gives you that green screen effect. Amazon is a great place to grab things you need and easy to be delivered to your door especially like the weather we have been having here in Ontario, better then going out and about to get it. Don't get me wrong my ring lights are good but this is the future of this studio space. Anyways that is the post for today and as always talk tomorrow!

Studio Lighting is Updated!

        Our studio here has been updated with better lighting. I mean our ring lights were good and they sit here in the studio not used and I probably will unmount them off the tripods eventually but we have new ones and bigger and brighter, LED lights to be exact and this should really take things to the next level especially for Twitch streams and the podcasts as well. I have inserted a picture to show you what they look like in the studio itself.

             I will do a review at the end of the week as I will be testing it the last couple of days. But it is very nice to have some more brighter lights then I had before. I have to decide what I want to do with the old lights and where I can store em and plus I will have two open tripods for other uses in the studio so if you have any ideas please do not hesitate to comment or send a message to us via email or Social Media. Firing on all cylinders!

               We are firing on all cylinders! All of The CBOTW Show are edited and scheduled to post week after week on Wednesdays. There is only Audio as tech issues with the video side where the volume was muted and not sure why. Also today's episode is scheduled and probably has been posted up already to majority of the platforms ready for the links to be posted up in 2 hours (1 pm EST.)

             We continue to re-post the old Entertainment Man Podcast so we can bring that podcast back to video again hopefully by 2026 at this point. Once all the episodes are up, the channel will be settled down a bit with the posting. I am worried about over posting but we have to make sure all episodes are available to you guys. We are trying to do the re-uploads as fast as we can so we can move on with the newer content. Anyways that is the post for today, as always I will talk to you all tomorrow.

Weekly Updates [02-21-2025]

          This week has been chaotic. Recording editing and what not. I will not talk about the video Chris is going to be recording but he needs to talk to you guys about the recent episodes him and Larry recorded as the video there was no sound so he had to scrap it but he will talk about it in a video after he's back from his interview followed by a haircut this afternoon. He wants to set the record straight ahead of time. 

          We are on the right track with editing and scheduling the posts. After that, he is working on new content hopefully and also re-uploading episodes to YouTube so he will be working on those this weekend. Also we have been working on a Brand new Discord server and already has members in and in a recent stream, Chris mentioned putting it into the bot system he uses on Twitch. 

          We are currently doing anything and everything to get things done this weekend so we can go back to planning new episodes, continuing on. What I gather he is working all weekend on stuff and the upcoming week he will be working on the next Ghostwriter for the following week. We are doing everything we can to get everything finished up. Making up for lost time while we are sick. Talk to you all next week.

The CBOTW Show Plans & Updates!

              The CBOTW Show is back in session today with another 5 amazing episodes of Ghostwriter as we continue on with the series. Now in 2 weeks, we will be again recording more episodes so we are ahead of schedule as we're getting ready for the transition with Larry from in studio to him and I doing things online as he's moving this year so we are going to be transitioning over to online but not yet but we are starting the transition planning. 

                Also we will be recording in 2 weeks 4 more episodes so this should take us into April maybe early May as well so we will be ahead of schedule and we are sticking to the once a month recording sessions for now and they seem to work which is great with this method but procrastination has been really bad so we're trying to weave around everything as much as possible and we will make sure to have a proper schedule and timetable to when we record podcasts and start preparing them. Anyways those are the updates on this podcast, hope you guys have a great weekend and I will talk to you all on Monday!

Video Game Updates!

                Now are games I want to go back to and work on and of course some I don't want to return to.. cough... cough Grocery Store Simulator. lol. Here is my list:

Super Market Simulator: I have been playing off the streams and been trying to build up the money behind the scenes and it has been hard to really build it up. Paying for the products constantly doesn't help plus cashier plus security doing all of those it's hard and I need to get the money up on the game so I can honestly feel the stress with it. 

Fortnite: Been playing Lego forever and ready for the next adventure and beyond. Ready to go into the Winter Biomes and see what I can actually find. Luckily I have heat and cold off and I know it's a bit of cheating. Anyways.

Minecraft: I haven't really played Minecraft much. Haven't been in that creative mood to work on the office towers but it is on my priority list of things to get finished and soon and with me being able to be at my computer at longer length of times, I plan to stream a little bit more.

           There are a couple of the gaming updates and where I am at with things gaming wise and I will talk to you all tomorrow for another blog post.

Update Part 2 [Podcasts]

               This is the last update I have been sitting on since the last couple of weeks. Podcasts-- As you know we have two podcasts and going to break down things starting with Entertainment Man Podcast: This week probably will be uploading older episodes onto the YouTube Channel again and getting things rolling once again so the podcast can actually return to video in 2026. Also I have a re-scheduled interview for Friday

             The CBOTW Show: The podcast continues evolved and this week as long as Larry and I are healthy, we will be recording new episodes this week and I am going to make sure to talk to Larry about it this week. Also later in the week, I want to start working on Corner Gas stuff. I'm way overdue to record with Bob and was my health that got in the way of us recording so I am rectifying that this week plus getting the next round of Ghostwriter going. I also have recorded two extra episodes in case we need it.

             Lots of big things happening this week for us! I am excited to get things rolling and utilizing that third podcast timeslot up as it's there waiting. Anyways that is the post for today and as always I will talk to you all tomorrow.

Update Part 1 [Health]

             I was suppose to wait till Tuesday to post this as the studio is closed today for Family Day holiday in Ontario but I decided to have this pre-written as today is a holiday and yes the podcast is still scheduled to go up today @ 1 pm EST as pre-usually scheduled on our network. So the update on my own health as some of you have asked about me while I've been absent from the studio the last 2 weeks:

            I'm doing a lot better. The symptoms of this Bug in my stomach seemed to have subsided after nearly 2 weeks. I am eating some solid foods. I am being introduced back to foods, slowly but surely. I've started to doing some work around the studio even tho sitting can be hard especially on my back since I was laid up so long my back is acting up with spasms right now. Nothing like Voltaren or A535 won't do. So do not worry, I am doing just fine. Totally on the mend and slowly getting back into work on stuff back on the weekend and this week. I want to thank the team for having my back and keeping an eye out on things while I was bed ridden for 2 weeks. I am happy to be back and ready to get back to the grind of things. Anyways that will be part 1 of the updates, I have more updates tomorrow.

Weekly Updates [02-14-2025]

        I thought we had Entertainment Man Podcast recorded but apparently not yet but this morning he was planning on recording something. No real updates, just a few website tweaks I mentioned during the week. We have been working on the content aspect of things and preparing for the upcoming week.

        I have mentioned, boss man will be back to the blog on Monday and I believe the plan this weekend is for him to work on some shows for the other podcast. Other then that spending time with the family and he had plans with friends and that could change  but I think he's going to focus on his health next week and stay home. It is family day and it's to spend time with the family and I know he will be doing that. As for streams, there is no mention of him streaming again but maybe this weekend he will pop up for even just an hour of gaming to hang with you guys. Please keep an eye out on the social media for updates when he goes live and I will chat with everyone at the end of next week, enjoy your weekend.

Possible The CBOTW Show Next Week!

         Hopefully next week Chris and Larry will be doing more episodes of The CBOTW Show but we will see how Boss Man is as he's taking it one day at a time. But he's spoken about possibly even just writing notes and reading off of those but he's been back in the studio today a bunch.           

          I am excited for it, I know there has been questions about the Corner Gas Podcast but I do not have the answer for it and I hope it will start soon. He mentioned March he will be watching 4 episodes soon. All I know according to his schedule he has an interview for his other. So please be patient. I know we're eager to be releasing episodes of Corner Gas and Ghostwriter. Question of the day for you is did you guys enjoyed the first 5 episodes Chris and Larry put out and I will chat tomorrow.

Chris and I Made a Decision!

              This is referencing our community chat if you go https://www.chrisbontheweb.com/p/chat.html We have a chatroom and it's just been there, we've not even mentioned the chat whatsoever but it is in the corner, well more like in the Community Tab at the bottom of the list. Chris I think he fixed it late last night. Chris and I are not removing chat yet again but we are doing it for security reasons due to some late night trolls on the chat, but as of 11 pm EST every night we will be locking chat as no anons (meaning no guests) as we cannot monitor that chatroom 24-7 we have work to do and our personal lives as well so it is not fair to always have it open to the spam. 

             The other decision we've made is with this website is to remove both embedded Calendly links as it is a route for trolling to happen when we take our jobs very, very seriously while having fun. Chris taught me that lingo actually recently, plus it was gathering up too much room on the website, so we just pitched the pages into the trash drop down menu and deleted it permanently from our website. So we've been very productive today, I am surprised he's starting to work again but it is nice to get back to some normalcy. Tomorrow's post I want to talk to you guys about is some of the games he's going to be playing and updating next week when he jumps back to blogs on Tuesday since it is Family Day Weekend here in Ontario so I will chat again @ 11 am EST tomorrow.

Chris is recording today!

            It is very excited to say Chris, our Executive Producer/Host of both of our podcasts is back to recording something new for tomorrow. He's feeling a ton better today and been up in his chair a bit more. Anyways tomorrow's make up show, he is going to be talking about always having an episode ready to go and I definitely agreed to always have an episode or so handy especially if you get sick like Chris did. 

         I am excited to hear this episode and Chris and I have spoken about this idea while he was ill and I co-heartily agreed and he admitted he doesn't know why he never thought of this idea. so once he's strong enough he will but that is a bit of a preview for you guys and he has a video announcement later.

We're sort of back at it!

           We've not been the best for updates lately and as Chris mentioned majority of the team been sick but I am better and I am sure Larry is better. Chris is working on his core strength of his body getting up moving around but this bug really wrecked havoc to his body so hes recovering from this. I feel for him because he seems to get the short end of the stick with the illnesses. 

        I rarely have spoke to him about ChrisBOnTheWeb Stuff but sounds like an episode is coming out today at some point whether it's at 1 pm EST or later we will see. I see no reason to push him anymore then he has to right now. It is about him healing and we all go through a period of healing when we are ill. Chris is planning to do the podcast for Wednesday for Entertainment Man Podcast in the afternoon around 3 pm EST. Enjoy the rest of your Monday.

Where have we been?

             So where the heck have we been all week? Majority of our team has been sick, Larry, Sara and myself. Larry (cold), Sara (flu) and me some bug in my stomach I don't remember the exact name. However same symptoms as I had with the the Nova Virus I had nearly 2 years ago. Been stuck in bed lately and I always am thinking about ChrisBOnTheWeb Media and why I didn't see this coming soon cause it hit me like a ton of rocks.

             This week, being ill and in bed a ton has taught me a lot of patience while I heal and get stronger and healthier. I also took the opportunities to catch up on shows and one of them on my radar after I am done with this blog and done in the studio is to actually watch some The Simpsons and never know it could spark up future episodes actually. I do not know my entire schedule the upcoming week and Sara will be working on that for Monday and I will hopefully be back blogging by Tuesday and gives me a few extra days to feel better but enjoy the rest of your weekend, enjoy the Super Bowl if you watch it and I will talk to you all during the week.
