Gaming Updates [Yet Again!]

Fortnite I was back on playing Lego Fortnite and back at it when it comes to the game and now I have started the Ninjango part and progressing very good and with the help of my new friend and fellow Twitch streamer and gamer Carlos which we ended up streaming for 5 and a half hours.

Minecraft I finished up the first rink and got it ready for the fall so I can start the finishing work on the second rink which I have started to second guessing the rink and consider taking down the second level of the first rink as the new rink is now Rink # 1. Gym Simulator there is one thing to do is beat someone at weight lifting. I find it a very glitchy game still and a lot of bugs in the game. Pumping Simulator 2 I am progressing and earning money but still a lot of work ahead of me. Anyways those are the updates, have a good weekend and as always talk to you all on Monday.

Made Some Decisions with The CBOTW Show!

As Director of Content, my responsibilities are the content that you find on this website and I have had time since Survivor ended and the decision has been made, The CBOTW Show will remain as Video and Audio ONLY Podcast which is practically untouched it is staying put as we have it at the moment.

However The CBOTW Show- Reality TV Recaps, since YouTube failed time and time again and the fact the matter is I've been stressed out royally, jeopardizing my mental health for you guys, but the decison I have made is to keep the Reality TV Recaps Audio ONLY moving forward and I believe that is the best move for us and the second podcast feed. Anyways I wanted to give you guys the heads up and as always talk to you all tomorrow.

Working on a Chatroom for the Website?

Yes! It's a work in progress right now, I am only allowed so much time and convos to working on the chat but on the right is what I've been working on and it's been fun to tell AI what I want and it is coming along to exactly what I want and this more than likely it will take me some time to create the chat and code and put it all together but I love the layout and the look. It's not been that hard actually especially using AI.

This probably will replace our Discord server as I am planning to do away with Discord Server and we will be basically based off the website here all together. The future is looking bright and I look forward to moving entirely onto our website and basically have it based off our website down the road which is awesome and exciting. Anyways we will let you guys know when we are ready to release the chat on our website and as always I will talk to you all tomorrow.

Going to Update the Merch Store...

In the next update I do which won't be long as I will be back behind the keyboard coding together a form to sign up to become a host on The CBOTW Show either feed so that is the first phase then I will be updating the merch store with more items and maybe some more summery items as Summer is approaching us quickly so we want to try and include summer items and the same when the seasons change, we can readjust as we go on.

This should be a quick update and any ideas please let me know especially in the comments below and let's come up with some ideas for the website's merch. I plan on giving a discount on the summer items for the first week or two so anyone can get it and I know it's quite steep price but if you realize the shipping is the biggest pain but hope to make a few sales off the merch. Anyways that is the post for today and as always talk to you all tomorrow.

Changing Everything Around... No more CEO Role! [For Now!]

For now there will be no more CEO, I really need to start making better decisions for the future and this is just the start. I do not know why I am insulted left and right especially by now former members of the staff but my decision making hasn't been good lately not just professionally but also personal life as well. As you may not know, Sadie has been working with me also even prior to our CEO leaving as an assistant and has done fantastic work. We
have laughed so much and have been joking around a lot. I feel good around her.

You never know, she could be the new CEO but for now she works as the Community Manager and you will see her around Social Media, Discord and what not. Hopefully this is a fresh start and hoping she will be around the company for years to come as we continue to progress with this company and grow the community as a whole. Anyways that is the post for today and as always talk to you all tomorrow!

Merch is here!

The title doesn't lie! You guys have asked, begged, plead for merch and we are making it happen! This is why we have made the move. Now it will take a bit of time to come up with designs. This is very exciting and we can also embed it onto our website here on www.chrisbontheweb.com and exactly what we are planning to do.

It is a very exciting moment for us to add onto our website a merch page officially. However, we now have merch and we are allowed up to have 15 and I don't think it's 15 right now 7 items as of right now but I plan on adding in more stuff and any suggestions please do not hesitate to contact us. This is thanks to all of you for the suggestions and idea, keep them coming! I will talk to you guys on stream @ 1 pm EST for the weekly social media stream and as always I will talk to you all back here on Monday.

Loving the Direction the Company is Going!

Now that I am no longer CEO (Chief Executive Officer) and Sammi is now at the helm and I have to admit she has done an amazing job in 2.5 months she has been with the company and the guidance she has given we as we have made a bunch of changes, i.e Entertainment Man Podcast and After Hours being axed as they are ran by the parent company that produce and host the episodes. I think and we know it was the right decisions.

This is why I love the direction of the company is going and it has shown with the necessary changes we are thriving with everything and we can tell but our numbers and stats have really shown that you guys are very happy with the changes and this is why I am going to be adding one more thing to the world wide web a second website dedicated to The CBOTW Show so more on that tomorrow but loving everything that's happened so far and excited for the future. It has been overwhelming with so many blog posts we are going to utilize

I Was Given Some Solid Advice!

On the weekend, I was given some really great advice:

1) My business cards which is very outdated now, I am not going to be using anymore as it's out of date so it is time to ditch them but I am appreciative my family getting them for me though. I am taking things to an entire whole new level.

2) Will be wearing my landyard more which has a barcode and is very active! It will be easier for you guys to scan and go directly to the website. However that is not all.

3) I mentioned flyers and it has been on my long list of things to do and get photocopied over there at Staples and more than likely, I will be there on Thursday as long as the weather remains fair and dry.

4) Other part that Ani from Bar Burrito kind of the reason why but he suggested to embed the YouTube Links but we will continue on with Spotify, ITunes, etc just to help grow the podcast. Wish there was a way to embed both but I have no clue how I could do that though.

Anyways solid advice and we have been implementing a lot of this already and still not done yet with the YouTube side of things but that will be coming eventually. Right now I need to focus on this week and next week for those but as always I will talk to you all tomorrow.

Bar Burrito Review [King Street East Location]

On the weekend, I got to go for lunch with my nephew at Bar Burrito and he had a burrito and I have some tacos. We got chatting with the staff there Ani and he has given me some very valuable advice with the company and Sammi and I have been implementing this and I will talk further about this tomorrow but the the friendliness of the staff was impecable meaning, fantastic! I even admitted I enjoy the tacos there compare to another franchise that ends with "Bell" but still good but it is the freshness at 1303 King St E, Oshawa, ON. I highly recommend them 100% percent.

On top of the tacos, I got some tortilla chips which I am definitely a fan of them with some salsa (mild) it is amazing! I love tortilla chips with salsa and more of a healthier approach. Anyways I wouldn't just give the food a 10 out of 10 but here is my breakdown of the visit:

10 out of 5- food

10 out of 5- service

10 out of 5- staff

10 out of 5- helpful

There is my wonderful experience and you guys know I will be back for another blog post.

Behind the Mic: Why Every Podcaster Needs Clean Air Ducts for Perfect Vocal Health

Introduction

The modern podcasting landscape demands absolute perfection from your audio setup. Most creators spend thousands of dollars on dynamic microphones, acoustic foam panels, soundproof curtains, and high-end audio interfaces to capture the perfect sound. You focus intensely on treating your studio room to eliminate echo and ambient noise, yet a hidden threat silently undermines your performance from above. Indoor air quality remains one of the most overlooked variables in the entire digital media industry. Your studio environment directly impacts your physical instrument, which is your voice, every single time you hit the record button.

When you spend hours speaking in an enclosed space, you breathe in whatever is circulating through your ventilation system. Dusty air ducts act as a reservoir for invisible particles that compromise your throat, vocal cords, and lungs. This comprehensive guide explores why maintaining clean air ducts is a vital business investment for serious podcasters. We will examine the physiological mechanics of your voice and how hidden airborne irritants degrade your recordings. By addressing the root cause of vocal fatigue and equipment damage, you can protect your health and significantly elevate your production value.

The Invisible Threat to Creative Vocal Performance

Your vocal cords are highly sensitive mucosal tissues that require constant, pristine hydration to vibrate efficiently and create a resonant tone. When your heating, ventilation, and air conditioning system blows air through contaminated ductwork, it distributes a cocktail of microscopic debris. This debris includes fine dust, pollen, pet dander, drywall particulate, and sometimes microscopic mold spores. As you speak passionately during a long interview, your respiration rate increases, causing you to inhale these airborne irritants deeper into your respiratory tract. The body responds to these particles by producing excess mucus, which leads to immediate throat irritation and a constant urge to clear your throat.

For a podcaster, a raspy throat or an unexpected coughing fit can ruin a perfect take and add hours to your post-production editing workflow. Constant throat clearing causes the vocal folds to slam together with significant force, which creates physical trauma and leads to early vocal fatigue. You might notice that your voice loses its warm lower frequencies or becomes thin and strained after just thirty minutes of recording. This decline happens because your vocal folds are swelling in response to the poor air quality in your studio room. Clean air ducts ensure that the oxygen you breathe is completely free from the irritating particles that trigger these defense mechanisms.

How Air Quality Impacts Your Studio Audio Production

Beyond the physical strain on your body, poor indoor air quality introduces subtle, annoying audio artifacts that plague your final masters. When a speaker struggles with dry air and airborne dust, their mouth naturally produces less saliva, which creates a sticky environment inside the oral cavity. This condition results in highly noticeable mouth clicks, lip smacks, and wet popping sounds that high-fidelity condenser microphones capture with agonizing clarity. You then have to spend valuable time using specialized de-clicker plugins or manually drawing out individual audio anomalies during your editing sessions. Clean, properly humidified air promotes natural salivation, which naturally reduces these frustrating mouth noises without relying on digital manipulation.

Furthermore, heavy dust accumulation inside your air ducts often causes your HVAC system to work much harder to maintain a stable room temperature. This increased strain makes the ventilation registers rattle, hum, or produce a loud, low-frequency rushing sound that easily bypasss your microphone noise gate. In cities like air duct cleaning salt lake city, this issue becomes even more noticeable due to seasonal dust buildup. If you turn off the climate control system entirely to keep the room quiet, your studio quickly becomes hot, stuffy, and uncomfortable. This stuffiness degrades your cognitive focus and sours your on-camera energy. Clean ductwork ensures optimal, whisper-quiet airflow, allowing you to run your climate control system safely during long recording sessions without introducing unwanted background noise.Protecting Expensive Recording Equipment from Dust Accumulation

Your voice is your primary tool, but your technological infrastructure represents a massive financial investment that also deserves rigorous environmental protection. Microphones, computer towers, mixing consoles, and outboard preamps are highly vulnerable to the fine dust particles that erupt from dirty ventilation systems. Condenser microphones utilize a incredibly thin, electrically charged diaphragm to capture the subtle nuances of your voice with high precision. When dust settles on this delicate component, it alters the mass of the diaphragm, which dampens the high-frequency response and makes your microphone sound muddy. Over time, moisture binds this dust to the capsule, which can cause permanent capsule contamination and costly repair bills.

Similarly, your studio computer relies on high-speed cooling fans to pull air through the chassis and keep the processor running smoothly during heavy rendering tasks. If your studio air is thick with dust from unmaintained ducts, your computer vents will quickly clog, causing internal temperatures to skyrocket. This thermal stress forces your processor to throttle its performance, which leads to dropped frames, software crashes, and shortened component lifespans. Additionally, excessive dust buildup inside a computer case creates a persistent fan whine that your microphone will easily pick up. Keeping your air ducts clean safeguards your hardware, extends its operational life, and maintains a quiet technical environment.

Practical Maintenance Steps for High-Quality Podcast Studios

Achieving pristine air quality in your recording space requires a proactive strategy that combines professional system maintenance with daily studio habits. The most important step is to schedule a comprehensive, professional air duct cleaning service to clear out years of accumulated debris. Professional technicians use specialized truck-mounted vacuums and rotary brushes to safely dislodge packed dust from every corner of your ventilation network. Once the main ductwork is entirely clean, you must replace your standard fiberglass HVAC filters with high-efficiency particulate air filters, which are commonly known as HEPA filters. These advanced filters capture microscopic allergens before they ever have a chance to enter your breathing zone.

In addition to maintaining your main system, placing a standalone air purifier directly inside your studio room provides an extra layer of defense. Choose a purifier that features a true HEPA filter and an activated carbon layer to eliminate ambient odors alongside physical dust particles. Make sure to run the purifier on its highest setting for an hour before your session, then switch it to its lowest, silent mode while you record. Regularly wipe down all hard surfaces in your studio with a damp microfiber cloth to prevent settled dust from becoming airborne again. This disciplined routine keeps your recording environment immaculate, your gear spotless, and your voice performing at its absolute peak level.

Conclusion

Your podcasting success relies entirely on your ability to deliver a captivating, professional, and comfortable listening experience for your audience. While you cannot control how listeners consume your content, you possess total authority over the environment where your creative work is born. Neglecting your air ducts creates an invisible barrier to your vocal potential, which damages your physical health, your audio quality, and your expensive studio gear. Investing in clean air and proper ventilation maintenance is just as important as choosing the right microphone or room treatment. It is a fundamental commitment to your longevity as a professional digital creator.

Do not allow poor indoor air quality to stifle your creative energy, strain your vocal cords, or add unnecessary hours to your editing workflow. Take a moment today to inspect your studio vents, check your system filters, and contact a certified air duct cleaning specialist in your local area. By clearing out the hidden dust and debris lurking in your ceiling, you protect your primary instrument and ensure your voice sounds flawless. Your audience deserves to hear you at your absolute best, so breathe clean air, protect your health, and keep creating amazing content.

How to Turn Your Travel Passion into a Profitable Blogging Career

Introduction

Wandering through vibrant night markets, waking up to misty mountain views, and collecting stories from around the globe is a dream shared by many. For most people, these experiences remain fleeting vacations. However, a growing number of digital entrepreneurs are turning their wanderlust into a full-time profession. Travel blogging has evolved from a simple online diary format into a multi-billion-dollar industry. Today, a well-managed blog can serve as a powerful business vehicle, generating sustainable income while allowing you to explore the world.

Transitioning from a hobbyist storyteller to a professional content creator requires a shift in mindset. Passion is the fuel that gets you started, but strategic planning is the engine that drives profitability. The internet is flooded with travel content, meaning that simply posting beautiful photos and generic itineraries is no longer enough to succeed. To build a career out of your journeys, you must treat your blog like a startup from day one. This means understanding your audience, mastering digital marketing, and diversifying your income streams. By combining your love for exploration with solid business principles, you can transform your personal adventures into a highly profitable digital asset.

Finding Your Profitable Travel Niche

The biggest mistake new travel bloggers make is trying to write for everyone. A broad blog that covers everything from luxury resorts in Paris to backpacking through Southeast Asia faces immense competition. To stand out in the crowded digital landscape, you must find a specific niche. Narrowing your focus allows you to become a go-to authority for a dedicated group of readers. Search engines favor websites that demonstrate deep expertise in a particular subject, making a specialized niche highly beneficial for your search engine optimization strategy.

When choosing your niche, aim for the intersection of your personal expertise, your passion, and market demand. You might focus on budget solo female travel, culinary tourism in Latin America, or traveling with toddlers. Alternatively, you can specialize in a specific geographic region, such as a blog dedicated entirely to exploring the Pacific Northwest. Analyze your potential competitors to identify gaps in their content. Look for underserved communities or unanswered questions within your chosen category. A well-defined niche makes your marketing efforts more effective, as it allows you to speak directly to the unique pain points and desires of a highly targeted audience.

Building a Search Engine Optimization Foundation

Beautiful writing only matters if people can actually find it. Search engine optimization, commonly known as SEO, is the primary vehicle for driving consistent traffic to your travel blog. Unlike social media posts that disappear from feeds within hours, optimized blog posts can attract readers for years. To build a strong foundation, you must start with comprehensive keyword research. Use professional tools to identify search terms that your target audience uses when planning their trips. Look for long-tail keywords, which are specific phrases with lower competition and higher user intent.

Once you have identified your keywords, integrate them naturally into your content. Your primary keyword should appear in your title, your introduction, your subheadings, and your image alt text. However, avoid keyword stuffing at all costs, because search engine algorithms prioritize user experience and high-quality writing. Beyond keywords, focus on technical SEO by ensuring your website loads quickly, behaves well on mobile devices, and features a clean site architecture. Internal linking, which connects your new articles to existing relevant content on your site, helps search engines crawl your blog more effectively while keeping readers engaged for longer periods.

Content Strategy and Storytelling Mastery

In the digital world, content is the product you sell to your audience. To build a loyal readership, your articles must provide immense value, whether that value comes in the form of practical utility or emotional inspiration. Professional travel blogging requires a balance between transactional SEO content and immersive storytelling. Your practical guides should be highly actionable, offering detailed information on transportation, budgeting, local customs, and safety. Use clear formatting, bullet points, and descriptive headings to make your articles easy to scan for travelers on the move.

At the same time, do not lose the human element that makes travel writing so compelling. Share your personal failures, unexpected discoveries, and authentic interactions with local cultures, especially when writing about experiences like new zealand tours. Readers connect with vulnerability and honesty, not with picture-perfect, sterile itineraries. Develop a unique brand voice that sets you apart from corporate travel sites. High-quality photography and original video content are also essential components of modern storytelling. Capturing your own media elements enhances your credibility, increases the time users spend on your website, and provides valuable assets that you can later repurpose for social media platforms.

Diversifying Your Revenue Streams

Monetization is the step where a passion project officially transforms into a business. Relying on a single source of income is risky, so successful travel bloggers diversify their revenue streams. Affiliate marketing is often the most accessible starting point. By recommending gear, hotels, travel insurance, and tour companies, you earn a commission on every sale made through your unique tracking links. Choose affiliate programs that align perfectly with your niche and only recommend products you genuinely trust, as maintaining reader loyalty is paramount to long-term success.

As your traffic grows, you can apply for premium ad networks. These networks place targeted advertisements on your site and pay you based on impressions or clicks, providing a source of passive income. Another lucrative avenue is creating sponsored content, where tourism boards or travel brands pay you to feature their destinations or products. Additionally, you can sell your own digital products, such as comprehensive PDF travel guides, photography presets, or online packing courses. By combining display ads, affiliate commissions, brand partnerships, and direct product sales, you create a stable financial ecosystem that supports your lifestyle.

Conclusion and Next Steps

Turning your passion for travel into a profitable blogging career is an incredibly rewarding journey, but it requires patience, discipline, and consistent effort. Success does not happen overnight. It is the result of writing high-quality articles week after week, optimizing your site for search engines, and building genuine relationships with your readers. By treating your blog as a professional business, defining a clear niche, and diversifying your income, you can break free from the traditional workspace and design a life of freedom.

Now is the perfect time to take action and lay the groundwork for your new career. Stop waiting for the perfect moment to begin your entrepreneurial journey. Define your unique niche today, purchase your domain name, and commit to a consistent content schedule. The world is full of incredible stories waiting to be told, and an audience is searching for the exact expertise you possess. Take the first step toward building your dream business right now, and start transforming your travel adventures into a sustainable, profitable online empire.

Gaming Updates!

Gaming updates time! I have been busy gaming on the side of the company activities. So many updates to tell you and not sure where the heck to start but here it goes:

Mall Simulator: As of at this time, I am done with the stores within the mall and right now I am playing on my own time to building the bank up in time for the expansions and updates the devs will be putting out.

Waterpark Simulator: Also done another game I am waiting on updates as there is some updates coming to the game.

House Flipper 2: I am still need to finish some things up on the game and something I want to do on the stream at some point.

Megastore Simulator: Kind of went dry playing it as I've been bored of it but I am going to get back into it soon as I want to continue to grow and flourish.

Ultimate Theater Simulator: A newer game I have become addicted to and recently streamed it on the companies Twitch Channel CBOTWOfficial.

Food Processing Simulator: Been having a ton of fun and it is another addicting game and I plan on playing it on stream soon.

MyGarage: Been working on the Cheeto 4x4 and it's now running better then ever. I replaced the engine as I stripped the engine from another NIV I bought and sold the shell of the car as I took a few parts off of it.

Pumping Simulator 2: I am so addicted to this game, it's crazy, chaotic and a ton of fun and slowly growing but the problem is I may have grown too fast but not giving up on it whatsoever.

Schedule 1: I have been playing a ton off stream but plan on playing it soon on stream, perhaps this weekend as I will even be in a voice chat if anyone wants to join during the stream.

Minecraft:  I haven't touched it and been wanting to work on the buildings but just haven't had that feeling of wanting to play and maybe I can just feature it on tiktok when I'm not streaming to Twitch but who knows.

Anyways that is the very long winded blog post for today and as always, well not as always but there will be another post tomorrow.

The CBOTW Show YouTube will be updated!

Over the next while as I do not know how long it will take me to reupload all the old episodes of The CBOTW Show, add in the Audio ONLY Feeds both feeds. I have to try and go into logical order and hopefully later on today when I get back to the studio after my appointment at my eye doctor, I will make sure to start getting it done once all the editing of the episodes are finished and that will be the second on my list followed by 2 more recordings for the next two weeks.

I cannot tell you the timeline of us uploading all the old episodes and building our channel history but we should have it up soon. I am going to try and post 3 times daily. There will be no general posts to it going up but you can catch up or re-watch and listen to our podcasts in the past. Once that is done and we're able to go longer then we will proceed with the next step of getting episodes up on the channel. I will have a further blog on Saturday with some more information. That is the post for today and as always talk to you all tomorrow!

I need to get my priorities in order!

Being a part of a media company, being a content creator you most definitely need to get your priorities straight and juggling 3 - 4 shows a week it is quite difficult. There is many ways we deal with it especially me with all the chaos there is here at the studio we utilize our white board writing down shows for the week as our schedule does change quite often with the Reality TV Podcasts going off air till hopefully the summer if we are able to find a host and starting the week after next week we will start that search for about a month.

Anyways with all reality tv podcasts up to date and tomorrows the priority is to get the next recap of Survivor 50 out and you can say that is a priority. When I get home or finish my time with my friend I will be happily be editing the Thursday episodes both Reality TV and the next one, then work on the YouTube Channel and next two weeks worth of The CBOTW Show regular feed. So you see what I mean organization is also key when it comes to content and something I am still working on personally. Anyways that is the post for today and as always talk to you all tomorrow!

Moved The CBOTW Show Reality TV Recaps- Survivor 50, EP # 11!

The last catch up episode of Survivor 50, EP # 11 will be posted up at 9 pm EST, 3 hours after and the reason is as I have an appointment at 2 for an hour so I am needing to focus on that first before the company but we will get all reality tv recaps done and finished before tomorrow so we can move on to the next one as I will transition to the normal feed as I need to get The CBOTW Show finished then I move to the other one to get EP 12 of Survivor 50 tomorrow night.

So everything is coming along very nicely, slowly but surely and I hope by the end of the week I am on the right track when it comes to the two shows moving into next week as next week is the finale for Survivor and this podcast will be going off the air for the season and we do not know when it will back up and running and we hope to have more show this summer and I've talked about covering other show this summer not sure what as of yet. But that is the post for today and as always talk to you all tomorrow on schedule.

Why Are Things Going Totally Wrong?

I step down as CEO and things are still the same, problem after problem. Maybe I am the problem as Director of Content, maybe I should just stick to Executive Producer role and not take on certain titles within the company. Anything I do for the company it ends up with negative results and I have been trying to be positive and continue tol get content out but it seems not good enough.

I know I have no power over certain things but what I can do is talk to the team and see what I can do what we can do from here on out and I think that is definitely something that we need to do more as a team. As someone with leadership experience, I can teach them and mentor the team and suggest ideas. One thing I can say, we have both of The CBOTW Show feeds to work with so that is most definitely a good thing and I am going to talk to the team if we should syndicate but right now I cannot do that as at the moment I cannot verify the account as my number has been used too many times but we will recover and build this community again and continue to strive and grow as a company and community. Anyways that is the post for today and as always talk to you all tomorrow!

The CBOTW Show Re-branded... Sort of!

The CBOTW Show has been re-branded... Sort of. Just the image has been updated as seen on the right hand side with all the people involved with that show that project. I absolutely love it and ChatGPT aka AI has done our beloved podcast a lot of justice. Nothing else has change but updating the website as we speak with old logos across the website that has to do with the podcast.

The Old logo as much as it got our views where they are today, we were ready for a total rebrand with our logo and they should be reflected across our website and we are in a new era for The CBOTW Show. I will answer any questions on Saturday on our Facebook Page, TikTok Page & Our Instagram Page  Anyways that is the post for today and enjoy your weekend and I will talk to you on Monday.

The CBOTW Show Updates

The CBOTW Show is coming along nicely. Shows continue to be recorded and ramping up for production soon. There is a bunch of things on our radar as I have said previously, Power Rangers Reboot, Ghostwriter Reunion Interview and some others but I am starting to think when Larry and I return we will or I want to plan to start recording this fall for Ghostwriter Season 2 which gives me plenty of time to work on it and get it finished for the fall between now and September. There is no plans at the moment to record anything minus the recent episode and we have been running into issues with Larry's camera so that is interferring with our return right now.

One thing I would like to do before we return to recording once a month is Back To The Future Parts 1, 2 & 3; Space Balls; Ace Ventura; Mean Girls; Mean Girls 2 to name a few and I have to locate the list that we had to see if we can do a couple of those coming up this month perhaps so we can open the Saturday slot soon enough as we have a lot we want to do and get done so we can most definitely knock off 4 - 6 episodes per month but we will see. Anyways that is the post for today and as always talk to you all tomorrow.

I look forward to growing the channel with Shane and continue to grow and expand on our horizons. We are considering a live show every Friday @ 7 pm  EST.           So with the completion of the channel, Bob's our uncle... Not literally. We have so many ideas and potential for the show moving forward that I would like to tell you guys but first comes the renewal announcement first before anything else. That is the most important step for the show first is getting that season 2 and I can say it is a very positive feeling but that is the post for today and as always talk to you all tomorrow.

Doors Open Oshawa 2026-- Part 3

The last two spots are down in the south end of the city. First was the green house and the flowers was absolutely beautiful and I loved walking through there and often do we ever get to walk through and Doors Open is most definitely worth the time. What I loved about the Green House the fact is it is in a "H" shape as their is two parts to it and they connect from in the middle which makes it so easy to see the second part of the Green Houses there.

The last part before I get into the Guy House and Henry House, we walked down to the ship "Alicia G" which was there at the lake and I believe at this time she has departed our harbor now. Which I just looked and as of me writing this blog and she is still in the harbor at the moment. Also we walked on the pier for the first time in 2026 as they just opened the pier recently. Was windy and the water was a bit choppy as you get further out in the water but nothing that these salties or lake freighters cannot handle.

The very last location was right where we were, the Guy House and Henry House. For this event the Robinson house wasn't open unless their doing work in there right now but We got to see the house again and usually it is once a year I go back sometimes 2 years depends on my schedule but still enjoyed every second looking around on things. I was actually recognized as I've been there before not because I had my landyard on which was hidden under my sweater and it can be a tad visable. Anyways we had a good time big thank you to the city of Oshawa for putting on another fantastic Doors Open, big thanks to my dad for driving me around the city and as always talk to you all tomorrow.

Doors Open Oshawa 2026-- Part 2

This was all done on the same day, Saturday May 2nd, 2026 as this is part 2 of 3 of the event across the city. The next location was close to St. George and close to Canadian Automotive Museum and that is the Band Shell at Memorial Park in Oshawa. I have seen the outside of the bandshell but not inside and basically it is where the local band that plays instruments and was really cool because it had the history behind the bandshell and I didn't realize how much history that goes behind the bandshell. They don't usually have it open to the public but this was definitely a special treat and addition to our day.

The next location we travelled north Oshawa to our local theater, the Oshawa Little Theater and mind you this was the first time I have been there since volunteering over 10 years ago and they have done a ton of renovations and still has that theater charm still. We got a little tour of the theater, the dressing rooms, hair & Make-up, the shop at the back which I use to help build sets for shows back then, the stage area. We also were in the green room & lounge between the acts and rehearsals are done before they go onto the stage. Finally we got to sit in on the rehearsal for the upcoming production of Newsies. They trumpet and trombone was funny as they were making funny noises as they were doing checks with the bands so that was a giggle. I've sat in on one of these when I Co-op at the theater in 2012 which was really cool. Anyways really enjoyed this section of the venues for the event and as always talk to you tomorrow for part 3 the final two locations we went to.

Doors Open Oshawa 2026-- Part 1

On the weekend I got to go to 6 - 7 venues for Doors Open Oshawa which yes I know it is a lot but we had fun. The first place was St. George's Anglican Church and I have never been in there before but absolutely beautiful church! I was wowed with the architecture of the church and it has a really nice charm. We learned so much about the history and it is a very old church but still beautful and stunning. One of the staff or volunteers there brought out some items from the archives and so amazing what we saw especilly that quilt or blanket and how thin it was and we are talking 1900's.

The Next location is the Canadian Automotive Museum on Simcoe Street in Oshawa. I was really shocked how much they have updated and re done things in the museum. Looks so much better and there is a ton of different kinds of cars and the picture on the left is one of my favorites the DeLorean car which they had a similar car in the movie back to the Future. Really enjoyed the walk around and the staff there was very helpful if we had any questions. Anyways that is the post for today and as always talk to you all tomorrow for Part 2 of 3 of Doors Open Oshawa blogs.

Am I Excited for Tomorrow?

Am I excited for tomorrow? What do I mean? Well tomorrow, I will be attending my first events across the city for the Door's Open Oshawa. I do not know which ones but I will be out there and if you see me do not hesitate to say hi to me. I will be wearing my waist tag but not my lanyard. This one I am more incognito for this one but I am there and present. As we get into June then I will be wearing the lanyard more. Certain events I do wear it and certain ones I do not and it depends what event I am at but majority of the events I wear em.

Yes I am excited for tomorrow as it is the first event for 2026 and events season is here and it's back to them once again. I always enjoy these events and eager to get out in the community and seeing what the community is offering. Note this is all day long and I will be attending a bunch of different locations with my dad and moving around and I will be very active on social media throughout the day, updating you guys and this is the reason I have cancelled this week's stream. So again I am excited and hope to have a few interactions with you guys if you are local. There will be a post in the evening for you guys once I return home and as always I will talk to you all tomorrow, hopefully.
