Will I Return To Streaming?

               I know I haven't streamed much lately and clearly been painted a bad person due to Staff and community drama but have moved on. But in my honest opinion I've have been tired of streaming to websites. I am ready to walk away from Twitch but doesn't mean I will not stream on Facebook Fan Page once we hit the 100th follower and we are SO close to 100, just 3 away from the 100th. I had to remove a couple of people due to drama but we as a team have bounced right back and heading into the right direction.

              I rather stream on those platforms and get views compare to the platform I mentioned where I got zilch. We have to go where the views are and you can see where I am coming from and we get a lot more views on social media rather then the streaming sites and will probably limit it to 1 or 2 streams a week as content is the priority for me as that is my job. As for video games I do that on my spare time and will provide insight and updates on the games how far I get. So expect the random streams as I want to chat with you all like we use to and as always I will talk to you all tomorrow!

I Made a Bad Judgement Call...

              I know that I haven't been making the correct call with things. We still have the twitch channel regardless. I will stream on there but it will be randomly when I am available and able to stream. I am trying to aim for weekends but with the holidays, birthdays coming up I do not know when but I am planning a birthday stream around 9 pm EST on December 5th. So I will make sure to let you guys know. I don't know how long I will stream for but as long as I can. Maybe an appearance from a friend of mine during a Fortnite sesh perhaps?

              Anyways I want to make it up to you guys for such behavior what I did getting suspended for an entire week. You never know I may pop up tonight with Sheldon perhaps to start making it up for you guys. Haters will hate and will be banned from our mods in the chat. Will not tolerate drama, hate, disrespect whatsoever. PG channel at all time on Twitch. A channel for everyone to hang at if you guys know what I mean. So Twitch is still in the cards and look forward to many more streams in the future especially with a green screen on it's way soon. Let's Talk Streaming

             Now as you know I do the occasional social casts over at Twitch.tv and maybe once and a while for the just chatting on Facebook and Twitch but it is sporadic when things are calmer with the work load. I look forward to it but when I do stream, it will be on twitch.tv/gamerem15 but will not be as often unless I have a bunch of spare time so really the schedule is randomly and unknown, just sporadically I will be live for right now. So hopefully this weekend tomorrow I will go live for several hours.

             So I am planning to but the matter is when will I have time tomorrow hopefully I finish up The CBOTW Show for next week and Entertainment Man as well.  So much to do in such a short time with blogs and the podcasts, I just want a break from work where I can enjoy a day off but today is been a busy day in regards to getting content done and out and we will see if I can squeeze a few hours of gaming in as I do want to finish the subway system finally. Anyways that is the post for today and as always I will talk to you guys tomorrow!

Going back to our roots.

             I promise you guys this is the last time I am making the Main Channel as it is here permanently. We are going back to our roots where we were last week. ChrisBOnTheWeb Media is back on YouTube as the main channel and once I enable streaming, I will be getting back to this schedule:

Saturdays: Chatting Stream (Facebook, YouTube & Twitch)

Sundays: Gaming Stream (YouTube & Twitch)

            So with streams this weekend they aren't happening but may pop up Monday night if possible but if not then I will be off till 2 weeks this Saturday (tomorrow) if that is the case so I apologize but I will be not here physically in the studio nor will have time to stream while away. However stay tuned for some content on social media while I am gone. Anyways that is the blog for today, I will talk to you all on Monday as she's doing the end of the week updates.

YouTube and Copyright

                I know I have had to delete some of the streams cause of copyright and for crying out loud I muted quick but apparently not quick enough... So I know now I will not be streaming Grand Theft Auto 5 or Grand Theft Auto 6 whatsoever cause of the copyright and their very stingy on the copyright especially that I actually muted it very very quickly like give me a break! I muted it and very, very fast! But noooo they are too strict on this and why even allow us to stream it on YouTube and make it restricted in a pile of countries honestly? 

                This is most definitely off my list and I have a pile of other games I wanna play and get done and is more important on my list right now. Games I do wanna play more of all together. I just don't like the fact I turned it off quickly and yet I still get slapped with copyright so I deleted the streams and got rid of the copyright affected so now that is out of the way, I am going to focus on other things. Anyways that is everything I wanted to say about the subject and as always I will talk to you all tomorrow.

I Find my Streams Relaxing!

              I love the weekend streams, both just chatting and gaming streams and why I dedicate two days of streaming unless I am not available for it. I love chatting with you guys but dual streaming has become a headache especially back on the weekend, I turned off the FB stream to Prism Studio freezing up and I had to restart the entire cast on YouTube so another program bites the dust on top of Skype being a pain now Prism Studio Live I am not too fond of. 

             If you are wondering how I stream, well I am using OBS Studio like I did since 2015. It is very reliable and easy to use and I have everything pretty much setup and ready to go for streams moving forward. I know I would have to switch back and forth when I am streaming to Entertainment Man but most of the time I will be using Streamyard for the most part. Anyways that is today's post, I will be talking to you all tomorrow for another blog post.

Decided to Stream to Both Platforms!

         First of all I'm sorry this is up the very next day. I wasn't in a good mood and 2 the internet was being a pain in the butt here in the studio. Second of all, I've reversed the decision to stream on Facebook and YouTube with the occasional gaming stream. Depending on the weeks I have more time but right now I am swamped with work and we're trying to get the workload down. But I will stream for half hour to an hour. However weekly just chatting streams will happen regardless on both Facebook and YouTube. I may as well do both for at least one of the two streams. 

         So I think it is the best move. I know the video I did that is being released I think I will redo the video to explain further but anyways that is coming tomorrow. I just think the more platforms I stream to the better it is. Now I know I would have to subscribe on X in order to use Twitter Live and I do not know how to stream to Instagram on top of FB/YouTube so I am just going to focus on the two for now. Anyways that is the post, be on the lookout for the normal post at 11 am EST for the blog and I will talk to you all tomorrow!

When Am I Going To Start Streaming Again?

             When am I going to start streaming again? I know I'm very extremely busy right now with Power Rangers Collab and Entertainment Man Podcast at the moment but I promise you guys soon I will be back. I just cannot give an ETA on that right now as I am so focused. However I can say this, I probably will be popping up from time to time and been setting up for streaming on the Facebook Fan Page. 

              Schedule wise it will be a weekly stream on Facebook ONLY. However when I am live I do encourage you to come out and hangout interact, ask questions about CBOTW (ChrisBOnTheWeb), etc. I want it to be interactive and a fun place to hangout outside of the content once a week. Anyways that is the post for today, I will be doing a schedule blog post tomorrow and posting it to the website to get it up and ready for you guys but I will talk to you all tomorrow!

Content Schedule Adjustments

                    Now that the ChrisBOnTheWeb channel is in the mix of things in content and with me streaming on weekends, creating videos here and there, I have decided to make this post about the content schedule. Now this includes podcasts, blogs and videos on the secondary channel that you guys see listed here on the fan page. However here is the schedule starting Sunday and ending on Saturday:

Sunday: 1 pm EST: Entertainment Man Podcast, Regular length episode (YouTube  Audio ONLY)

                2:30 pm EST: Sporadic Stream on Sundays.  (Will not always be on Sundays, especially when my niece and nephew's hockey returns in the fall.)

Monday - Fridays: Blog post (Here on the website)

Tuesdays: 1 pm EST (Sporadically): Video on the ChrisBOnTheWeb YouTube Channel

Thursdays: 1 pm EST (Every 2nd Thursday): Entertainment Man Podcast, bonus episode (Audio ONLY Platforms)

Saturdays: 1 pm EST: Stream (ChrisBOnTheWeb YouTube Channel)

                   There is the schedule moving forward for you guys and will be changing in the fall with my niece and nephew's hockey games the schedule could vary at times but more information will be coming later on but for right now that is the current schedule at this moment. End of The Week Updates [06-17-2020]

               Another week has come to an end and I've got some updates to give as I have been keeping you in the loop of things but there is a couple of things to update you on:

Website: As you know there has been uncertainty with ChrisBOnTheWeb this week but I have done some tweaks to the Team Page and it is now most definitely up to date now and I am happy with it. Also Movie Collab & Ghostwriter pages have been unpublished but are still in the back end infrastructure of the website waiting to be published and put into an active role onto ChrisBOnTheWeb.com. 

Streams: As I said on social media, I will be live tomorrow on "CBOTW Studios" YouTube channel which you can find under "On Demand" here on the website or by typing in the channel name on the app or website for YouTube. I will be live at 1 pm EST on Saturday for an hour and half as I have to work on the collab too so I am working my tail off on the content constantly but taking time off for you guys to interact with you guys. No double stream this weekend because of Father's Day 

Power Rangers Collab: As you know today, I start working on Megaforce which I think I am the most excited for now that Samurai 2 seasons is wrapped up as the big team ups and celebration of 20 seasons or 20 years of the series is here, especially the return of some OG Rangers so I am so excited to be working on it and you may see the occasional tweet talking about it but either way this is another 2 seasons I am most looking forward to. 

Entertainment Man Podcast: This weekend's interview will be just uploaded as I will be busy with my dad since it is Father's Day weekend so I apologize for the inconvience this weekend but I will make it up for the next interview scheduled which should be Chidi's interview for next weekend as I am done with things but I think it will be the following weekend as I wanna make sure I am done so I am getting close for that interview as well. 

              Anyways those are the updates for the week and it is more updates then I expected but oh well. I wanna wish all the dad's out there a very Happy Father's Day, hope you enjoy your day and also have a great weekend and I will talk to you all on Monday!

Gaming Stream Schedule

                  As you all know by now I have a gaming channel which is under the "CBOTW Brand." I am on test # 2 today at 2 pm EST as I am buckling down on Power Rangers Super Samurai to get it done by Wednesday so I can officially start typing but that is besides the point honestly.  So as you know weekends is more my low key days and I have decided to stream on those days. So here is my schedule for weekends and they are subject to change if there is a family event going on or there is a podcast being recorded whether it's on mine or I am a guest but this is the schedule for now which again is subject to change at anytime:

Saturdays: 2 pm - 4 pm EST

Sundays: 3 pm EST - 5 pm EST?

                     Again the schedule can change but this is what I wanna go by for the schedule for weekends. Sundays are questionable, I could go more then 2 hours but I wanna grow the channel first before I do anything else as of right now I am at 4 or 5 subscribers so slowly on the climb up on the numbers. Gamewise it will be Minecraft, Luck of the Landlord, Power Rangers game or The Binding of Isaac and sometimes I will do a listeners choice if I choose to change the game. Think I Was Only Semi-Retired From YouTube & Streaming!

                As you know now, I have a YouTube Channel now! Not just a YouTube channel but two of them to be exact. One of them being Entertainment Man Podcast which has been running a few weeks to a month now. Also the gaming/streaming channel that I have on YouTube as well. I know I said that I was done with YouTube and that I'd never go back to owning a channel but as you guys know I have been bugged and begged to stream and make video content and I think you guys finally broke me enough that I did it. And to be quite honest, I am happy that you guys pushed me enough to make a return and things are a little different now then they were almost 6 years ago when I made the announcement that I was done with YouTube and creating video content for you guys. Honestly that has changed and changed quite quickly to be honest but again I am glad this happened. 

                To be quite honest, I wish it happened in 2020 when Entertainment Man Podcast first began it's journey but it is what it is and I have a lot of you guys to thank for that. So I guess you guys can consider it a Semi Retirement and that has now since gone to the way side where I am now streaming more often, well weekends but those details are coming this upcoming week for you guys what the plan is. What I am trying to say is I do not think I was fully retired from YouTube, I was just semi retired. I guess I cannot get enough of the YouTube platform now so I had to make a return to the platform. New Schedule Coming In January!

             With New Years looming closer the schedule for January has been completed.  What I mean I have tweaked the scheduling for 2022 once again in the way of content and even streaming. Here is my Content Schedule:

Sundays: Entertainment Man Podcast, 1 pm EST (Regular Episode)

Monday - Fridays: Daily Blog Post

Thursdays: Entertainment Man Podcast. 1 pm EST (Bonus Episode)

Here is then Stream schedule and now mind you I was going to stream on Twitter but I do not get many listeners so to start I am going to focus on the Facebook and Instagram Social Media for right now. Here is the timetable:

Wednesdays: Instagram Stream, 3 pm EST(Subject To Change If I am busy with family)

Saturdays: Facebook Group Stream, 1 pm EST

              Originally with the content schedule I had the Saturday blogs saved for Saturdays but due to the recent increase in cases, I am putting that on hold at this moment. Also small note that Power Rangers Collaboration posting is a sporadic schedule and why there are times for us being quiet and not saying anything. Anyways those are the updates and they are subject to change at anytime. I will talk to you guys tomorrow!

Do I Miss Streaming At All?

               The question is do I miss streaming? The  answer is a straight plain NO. The reasons behind that are trolls, I have a zero tolerance for the trolls especially and also the fact I have had to endure the amount of dislikes on each video on YouTube, I do not miss it whatsoever. Twitch or any other platform, I pretty much got trolled the heck off at least 3 or 4 platforms over the course of time. I could care less about video platforms I am very much happier where I'm at right now and that is what matters to me is I rather do the blogging and podcasting on Audio Only then waste my time stream. I know CBOTW Gamers Podcast is pending to return and there has been talks about me bringing it to video but I would have to convince my potential to stay Audio ONLY and to be honest not sure if it'll happen but it is being talked about and not 100% sure if it would happen whatsoever. 

                Back to streaming, I do not miss the trolls, it was pathetic to having to put up with that day in, day out and I do not miss any of this. I got better things to do with my time then streaming. I still got OBS in case of the slight chance but to be honest I will use it in case I fail to get Mix Minus setup by July for Power Rangers Collaboration Podcast and we may have to push back Mystic Force as I have been diddly daddling but the only reason I would use OBS only in case the mix minus is not setup properly and need more time but we'll find out tonight what happens with the settings but OBS is there as a primary back up for that but more then likely I will never stream ever again. That ship has sailed and I am very happy and comfortable where I am to this day with what I am doing. Yes CBOTW Studios and the CBOTW Studios Bot have been disabled on Twitch and more then likely will never log back into that account that is that post and there is a special guest post tomorrow and you might see em around my Facebook Group and my Twitter from time to time so I will talk to you all Monday, have a great weekend!

Mixer Shutting Down-- My Thoughts?

           This came sudden to me with the announcement for Mixer streaming website and I was honestly shocked. I know recently I have had my own feelings about the website but will not talk bad about them as it was a really good website up to me being banned for apparently being under 13 years of age which all of you clearly know that I am not. I was reading into their blog post and did not understand why they were closing and it doesn't  really explain why it is shutting down but here's the article: https://blog.mixer.com/2020/06/22/the-next-step-for-mixer/  however I do not understand why. In my opinion it is truly sad to see another website closed. First Stickam which I grew up with, then BlogTV.com then Justin.TV, Stream.me and so forth. This does mean that streamers will either have to go to Facebook gaming as it says in the post or some go back to Twitch, YouTube or another website. I know how it feels to go from site to site, I've been there as some was the perfect fit for me some weren't. It is wherever you are most comfortable streaming to be honest/

            However I have to remain positive with this post and I have to say thank-you to the Mixer Team for being there for us gaming content creators and helping us grow as creators and grow our community and help us succeed in creating our own community and building. We understand why you have to close down and I remember when it first opened and trust me I was most impressed with the way it looked and I loved the way the chat looked and the name colors rather then a badge for a rank on your chat or even subscriber and I really liked that they were different from other platforms.  I may not be streaming games anymore but still support gaming sites even without it as I watch streamers like Taran from Rob Has A Podcast, Kevin from Big Brother Canada, Boogie2988, McJuggernuggets. Also still streaming our podcast on YouTube eventually. However thank you for reading what I have to say and stayed positive throughout the post and I will see you in the next post tomorrow.

Semi-Retired From Streaming!

             I know you guys haven't seen me live for over a month now and it has been a long time since I've casted on my own channel and obviously still co-host after PRCB is recorded on the "After Dark's" however we haven't been live. So I guess at this moment, I am just semi-retired from Streaming minus the "After Darks" that I have done but again not sure what the plan is this week yet if I am planning to be on the podcast or not. More then likely am but we will see what this week brings but either way I still cast but it is more of a co-host but still its a cast. So it is a semi retirement but still active around the community and a big part of Punk Rock Cheeseburger. So I am not fully retired so technically the title I think is clickbait title... SMH! I honestly streaming is not as important but I do stream with Rocky on an almost week basis. My primary focus and always will be the podcasts and with Twitch being second on the list but like I said I am a Co-Host role more. As for the Chris985 account on Twitch, I only use it for listening to shows on Twitch on an almost regular basis and I do follow a ton of different people too.


           I think this is the best decision for me to not stream and plus I have been trolled left right and center on the website but letting it bother me no more and there is something planned for PRCB and I want to wait and yes Twitch is involved and like I said I am on weekly on PRCB and that's it. I am dedicated to being on his stream once a week and honestly I am happy about it. I mean not just happy but I am OK with this change and I wanted to try and get away from streaming a bit more and to be a co-host or guest on Rocky's stream, I am really happy with it. I know we haven't been streaming Friday night "After Dark's" as we both have been a bit busy lately but we are going to get back to it. As you can see on the screen cap I posted on the post here to the title of the post for today, I changed it as I am technically Semi-retired from streaming as I said above. Why did I do this? Well I think it is more suitable that it says that I am semi retired not fully retired from streaming. It was the wrong idea and honestly the original title felt very clickbait for a title. I honestly do not want to be know for being a click baiter so that is why I changed the title and very quickly. So that is what is going on with me streaming and that entire thing about me streaming even to FB Fan Page, more then likely it will not happen at all.

What Were My Favorite Platforms For Streaming?

              I know I never spoken which platforms I really liked to stream on and really there were only 2 platforms I really liked honestly... Out of all the platforms I have been on which are a ton of them honestly... Too many to really count and not enough fingers to count really... lol! There are only really two that hit home with me and of course my team back in the day if you remember those days who have been following me since the beginning of my adventure online. I know, I know, stop stalling and talk about the platforms that I really enjoyed streaming on but mind you both of these platforms are no longer around as they have closed down...


1) BlogTV.com- Now merged with YouNow, it was the first platform I was on briefly in 2008 and boy the platform was on of the best but for streaming wise wasn't the first platform I officially started on and UBroadcast does not no longer exist as well. Met a ton of friends and I got the privilege to DJ for a station which is no longer active both on this platform and another I will mention in the second point of this post today. I was in touch with the owner for many years but recently have lost touch which happens. I really do not talk to anybody from the platform but met someone who was on BlogTV back in the day. The Video Projects Team could of done things differently and just done social casts back in the day, things could of been different but I really enjoyed the platform, it was a great platform indeed.

2) Stickam.com- Another site that has gone was the second platform I was on and was recommended and that is how I started to DJ for 2 other stations but once moved over to BlogTV then I was with them for a short time. I once again met some great people and stay connected with them for about 4 - 5 years before I lost contact with them but the fact you were able to cam up was amazing on the sides and that is when I brought a new show in with a friend. Now it didn't last long but we got some good numbers even for a talk radio network. I remember I was in a friends room and one of my staff came in spamming and here comes the Stickam Admin to ban them from the room... LOL... Ahh the memories which I truly do miss honestly!


               There is my list of platforms that I enjoyed the most and honestly those are the platforms I excelled at with streaming to. It is sad that both of those sites are now no longer around or have merged with another website and honestly streaming today isn't the same like back in 2010 - 2013. That is kind of why I gave up on streaming, the platforms were not the same honestly. It didn't have the same feel as before and plus the trolls got out of control and even platforms I am now banned on 2 of em the staff there never really liked me from day 1 so I am in a better place now then I w as before and been a success on my own on a daily basis.

My Patience With Waiting For Twitch To Re-Activate My Account Is Wearing Thin....

           It has been no secret I wanted to return to Twitch but someone got into my account deactivating it on me. I have requested to have em back on but Twitch isn't reactivating it whatsoever. So at this point I have to say thanks but no thanks to me returning at this point of time. I really wanted to return as I had tons of plans from the top of my head, especially with Big Brother Canada coming up in a few months I was hoping to do a live discussion on the live feeds if they do a competition live on the feeds. There I said it. How though in the world am I suppose to do this idea? Nothing! I have enough patience with them but at this point my patience has worn very much thin. There is so much patience I can have honestly with them and at this point I think I just want to move on and keep my focus on the podcasts both The CBOTW Show & Everything About Reality TV. I am a very patient person but for me to wait this long that is when my patience will be indeed tested and trust me it's being tested at this point. 


              At this point my main focus is the podcasts and nothing will change. If they do reactivate I just do not know what I want to do with the account... Maybe get it banned as it has really ticked me off to wait this long as it is taking forever for it to be brought back online? So I think it is for the best for me and Chris B On The Web to move on from video broadcasting and keep on the focus on the Audio ONLY Podcasts. Look at em now they have become a very big success and keeps on growing everyday as I keep looking at both feeds. Not sure what I want to do with the accounts if they came back online.... Not bother logging in again? Not sure, as that decision has not been made yet and honestly there is time to make that decision if they bring it back. I think I made the right choice in the first place when I retired from casting I do not know what I was ever thinking when I made the choice to actually return. Only reason now I had an account was because of one of my friends who streams from time to time on there but now I can't even do that. Him and I have to decide what to do next if he moves to YouTube fully now that Twitch won't reactivate but time will tell what he will do for streaming wise down the road.
