Podcasts May Be Stressful but worth the long hours!

               Podcasting may be a lot of work from pre-production to production to post production it is a ton of work. However there is the technical side of the podcasting especially with a certain program named Skype that ChrisBOnTheWeb Media isn't using as a tool for our shows anymore. I will talk further on that on next Wednesday's episode for you guys on the future of guests and interviews with the podcast. Tech issues can happen and it happened on that one day I was suppose to be on a podcast and patience is a virtue when it comes to that especially. 

                So podcasting can be and is very stressful at times and yesterday proved it cause Skype is dead to me, I'm done with it and yes I am showing my frustration with the platform and app. So where am I going with this post? Podcasting is a ton of work both behind the scenes and on the air. Plus updating the software with the proper graphics etc. Then editing the audio for release on Audio Only. However it is worth the long, long hours and I've become accustomed to the long hours and it takes a lot of dedication and time too. I am proud of both podcasts and how far we've gone with the podcast. Switching Back The Schedule?

               I know I have talked about switching back Entertainment Man Podcast and The CBOTW Show to Thursdays on a rotation and yes rotation, I switch shows in the Wednesday slot and more then likely that would be what we would do if we switched back to the old schedule that we had. However this wouldn't happen till the New Year, I do not want to switch things around during the seasons for both podcasts and do not want to disrupt the current flow of the scheduling at the moment. 

              But, I have decided against it to switching the days as you guys have gotten use to the schedule that we have  and it's the mid week podcast. How am I going to make sure it's done? I will be recording the normal episodes on Wednesdays, bonus episodes and The CBOTW Show on a Friday unless I am with Larry recording our own which is normally Thursday but on my own it is more than likely Friday. However that is the post and hope this explains my thinking process and I will talk to you all tomorrow for another blog post.

Getting the hang of the content schedule!

             We're finally getting the hang of our schedule after changing it up constantly. As you know our schedule VARIES from week to week and has been changing. However I am not happy with the Wednesday schedule as recording would have to be done days in advance but I do have a solution to recording on Friday's or Saturdays for The CBOTW Show. This would be before I stream on the weekends. However I may start recording Fridays this way I can do the streams without the pressure of having to record. Maybe that will be my normal day is between Thursdays and Fridays the week prior. 

             Now that Entertainment Man Podcast has a solid schedule as well, I plan on doing a similar plan for the bonus episodes the week prior to it but I will do a FULL Schedule update eventually so it gives you guys a bit of an idea what I look at for the release schedule for all the podcasts. However we're in a good groove now and that is what matters, we are in a really good place right now. We're getting the hang of things and there may be a switchback in 2025 going back to the Thursday posts again switching but I will also talk about that on Wednesday but for now that is the post for today, I will talk to you all tomorrow.

End of The Week Updates [02-23-2024]

              It is time for another end of the week updates. Chris had Larry at the Studio and originally the plan wasn't to record a podcast but they recorded a half hour podcast talking about Mean Girls Reboot. Now because the movie is fresh for us, they have decided to NOT release it till around May 8th what he's told me. So today he's editing this morning and by now he is working on Power Rangers Dino Fury Finally as he is about to reach the end of an era for the podcast and they will be moving on to other projects. 

              As you may noticed the Facebook group has been phased out all together and we have brought back the Discord Server. Now Chris isn't as involved with the server and he's online but hides offline. That is because he has been very, very busy with work and he has been working hard on content lately to finish things up and quickly. The end goal is to be finished Dino Fury by end of next week then Cosmic Fury by the following Wednesday. What he's told me he is ready to finish things up so he can officially move on with things. Those are the basic updates, we hope you have a wonderful weekend, I will be back next Friday for another end of the week updates.

All Streams Will be on YouTube... [For Now]

             Well cause of the software we use here in the studio which I will not name, I have made the decision to stream only to youtube.com/@ChrisBOnTheWeb as I was planning to stream to both there and Facebook but you can just forget it since the connection to Facebook says not pages available... So I was thinking, screw that I will just to the other way around and post the link on FB, Twitter aka X, Instagram and Threads. The buggy software wanna play hardball, I'm game.... They will be doing an update for Prism Studio on March 7th so after that I will be able to stream on both FB and YouTube. 

            

              So you can expect regular streams with a mixture of Just chatting streams weekly on Saturdays and gaming streams on Sunday afternoons as long as I do not have my niece and nephew's hockey game I will be live on a normal schedule. I have gone ahead and added the 230 schedule on Sundays as a gaming stream to ChrisBOnTheWeb.com/p/schedule.html so it is now part of the regular schedule. The CBOTW Show in the next month and a Half!

            Well, the plans for recording this week has backfired on Larry and I. It is not cause of him, it was cause of me. I fell so behind and haven't watched the next season yet but here is the plan for March to late April with both Power Rangers and other shows with an announcement:

February 28th, 2024: Power Rangers Beast Morphers, Season 2

March 13th, 2024: Power Rangers Dino Fury, Season 1

March 27th, 2024: Power Rangers Dino Fury, Season 2

April 10th, 2024: Collab with Izac from Fun Football Podcast (Surprise topic!)

           Yes with the news of a potential reboot, I want to get ready and cover Who's The Boss for the next how long. There will be more details when we get closer to it but don't worry there will be more content with Larry and I but I promise to fill between with Who's The Boss. I Was Called a Motivational Speaker!

           Last week, I was out and about with my friends at a mall that is out of my region and we were walking about the Scarborough Town Centre and I got to talk to one of the employees at JD Sports which mind you, amazing store as I was looking at some crocs actually, 60 dollars not too bad and if their still 60 by the time I am, back next week then I will snag em most definitely! I will check the Walmart there too next time I am there with my friends in less than a week from now. 

          Anyways Eric and I, were talking to the employee there and he asked what I do and I told him I was a Blogger, Podcaster and YouTuber and I wouldn't be surprised if he found the podcast by now and he asked me what their about and I told him and he called me a motivational speaker which in any case I never thought for one day that I would be considered that with Entertainment Man Podcast but now that I think about it, I have been trying to motivate you guys as much as possible and I hope I give you guys a lot of insight. Now to have that title as a Motivational Speaker especially with the podcast, it feels good to have that title, the fact I have actually have made a difference in your lives. Anyways that is all I have to say but thank you for continuing to listen to the podcast and again I hope you guys made a difference if your day to day lives. I will talk to you all tomorrow!

Post # 2000!

            What a journey it has been! ChrisBOnTheWeb.com is now OFFICIALLY at our 2000th post! I cannot believe we have come to this point. 2000 posts across the board. Now when we first started, we actually didn't start till March 25th, 2015 that was after I was banned off that streaming platform and almost 10 years since my aunts passing. I don't believe we even blogged in 2014 and back then we actually waited 5 months before starting the blog up. 

           However, when we started to blog more and more, that is what really helped our blogs. We use to have daily blogs 7 days a week, then down to 6 times a week then to our currently schedule 5 days a week with the random occasional 6th blog in the week. At this moment, I'd like to thank you guys for the support of our blogs whether it's an update or some kind of discussion, you guys are always on the website reading what I have to say and we appreciate it so thank you! That is the post for today and as always I will talk to you all tomorrow!

End of The Week Updates [02-16-2024]

              Another stressful and chaotic week once again and one update I can give you guys is Chris hasn't started Dino Fury as everything else going on right now but he's going to spend hours watching the show this weekend on a really long binge of the shows in order to get them done hopefully by Tuesday so sounds like there will be no time off, the studio will be operating on Family Day 2024 up here in Ontario Canada. Which is fine really, if he has to, he has to and I've reminded him and knows to spend time with his parents. He's possibly going to be getting tickets for the Generals game with his parents but on a wait list so fingers crossed as he loves the OHL (Ontario Hockey League) games.

             Anyhow, we're currently working on editing this weekends episode and helping Chris out with that so we can move on to that bigger step as he really, really wants to actually get it done and he's known for getting a show done in a couple of days and can most definitely do that again especially with his new method now, anything is actually possible. There is no other updates but he will be streaming this weekend a few times, Saturday (tomorrow) at 1 pm EST with a just chatting stream and Sunday at 1 pm EST for a gaming stream and I will speak to you guys next week.

Started To Post More on The Main Channel

           As you've probably noticed, I have been posting to the main channel not just streaming wise but video wise. I know I have one more video and I will talk about that soon. However I have at least got 3 videos as of today out and one more coming next week with the tour of the studio itself. I haven't done a tour in a while back on social media so it is long over do especially since the last time I did it on Social Media but I do not remember when that was the last time that was done. 

            So I plan on doing more side videos at the moment. Not several but at least one video with the streams on the side. So there will be a variety of content for you guys and plan on plenty more to come for you guys on both channels and here on the website. However the more I post the more views we get and I have enjoyed the conversations on streams with you all and it is my pride and joy each weekend to sit back and chat with you all. Internet Issues Yesterday...

              Yesterday, we didn't have the blog up and that was the inconsistent internet connection. We were having issues with the buffering on videos on YouTube and pages loading slowly to a point I was like I'm done with trying to get the blog out today so that is the reason for two blogs out this morning. This is why I like the fact we can actually put out two in a day if need be and honestly we are closing in on 2000 blogs on ChrisBOnTheWeb.com. Despite no blog the website, the views still were amazing regardless of the no blog due to this interment issues of the internet. 

             However we are back and hopefully this is the last time for the issues with the internet. I have my interview with Med tomorrow and hope the issues are done for good hopefully. So that is the reason why we have actually didn't post but what matters we're back and hopefully this is the end of it. Honestly the only times it's gone out is at 3 am EST every night when I was up but other then that it's normally really good for the most part. Anyways that is the post for today, I will talk to you all tomorrow for another post!

Decided to Stream to Both Platforms!

         First of all I'm sorry this is up the very next day. I wasn't in a good mood and 2 the internet was being a pain in the butt here in the studio. Second of all, I've reversed the decision to stream on Facebook and YouTube with the occasional gaming stream. Depending on the weeks I have more time but right now I am swamped with work and we're trying to get the workload down. But I will stream for half hour to an hour. However weekly just chatting streams will happen regardless on both Facebook and YouTube. I may as well do both for at least one of the two streams. 

         So I think it is the best move. I know the video I did that is being released I think I will redo the video to explain further but anyways that is coming tomorrow. I just think the more platforms I stream to the better it is. Now I know I would have to subscribe on X in order to use Twitter Live and I do not know how to stream to Instagram on top of FB/YouTube so I am just going to focus on the two for now. Anyways that is the post, be on the lookout for the normal post at 11 am EST for the blog and I will talk to you all tomorrow!

Regretted not Watching The Super Bowl??

               As  you know I wasn't online much yesterday minus the premiere and I thank you guys to those who popped into the chatroom on that day. I am more talking about Super Bowl. I was at my brother, sister in law and my niece and nephew's for Super Bowl 58. We had fun and was nice to spend quality time with the family. I know it wasn't the result some of us didn't want obviously. We started a count how many times they showed Taylor Swift and what we counted was 15 times, that is what my nephew said. 

             Now do I regret going? No! It was an opportunity to spend time with the family and watch the biggest sporting event that happens every year! Yes I felt like I should of stayed home and watch shows with my mom but yet again there is always tonight to watch but right now I am out and about with a friend and former staff from my previous team I had before CBOTW Media. Was upset about the results but it is what it is honestly. What matters is I enjoyed my time with the family and that is what truly matters in the end. Anyways that is the post as I am pressed for time posting this but I will as always talk to you tomorrow!

End of The Week Updates [02-10-2024]

             This week has been an emotional week for Chris and he's been dealing with some personal things and being there for his friends which is very important. So that is one of the reasons Wednesday's Entertainment Man Podcast was cancelled and rescheduled to next Wednesday. Which ultimately puts us at 3 podcasts for the week technically. However he is fine with it as he plans to try and record or has recorded today at some point and shouldn't be too long but that will be the start of his little break till Thursday's show, his interview with Med from Shots From The Sidelines but there is no shows scheduled between tomorrow and Wednesday and time to edit and schedule those podcasts too. 

             Chris has also stopped working on the notes for Entertainment Man Podcast and do not worry, he has enough show topics ready to go regardless. He wants to start working on Dino Fury as of Sunday or Monday so it is ready to go. I am helping him as much as possible with the editing and learning some new skills this weekend. He is taking a shot at finishing both seasons by end of next weekend, done finished, completed so the week him and Larry record, he finishes up with Cosmic Fury the FINAL episode so he can start working on the movie collab with Izac. Those are the updates and I hope you enjoyed the rest of your weekend and I will speak to you at the end of next week on Saturday as we are OFFICIALLY doing 6 blogs a week now. House Flipper 2 Update!

        As you guys know I have been streaming House Flipper 2 quite a lot lately as I've been obsessed with the game lately. I have been going between renovating and cleaning houses to renovating my characters own house and the downstairs is now pretty much complete minus that darn post I need to remove but not yet unlocked the sledge hammer yet so that is currently work in progress.

         However I have been working on the next floor and removed the things I want to replace. I do have ideas for that and will be on my next gaming stream that I do and perhaps maybe this weekend in the afternoon I may pop up again for another stream. We'll see how things are in my workload, so expect the unexpected with the stream but let me know in the comments below what you think of my reno work on House Flipper 2. I think it looks good and very modern look to the house, I wish I took a picture before cause it was quite ugly looking with the birds and zebra wallpaper lol... Not kidding you neither. Streams Will Be on Facebook and Instagram....

          My weekly streams continue to be on Facebook and sometimes Instagram. So yesterday's blog renders useless and has been removed off social media. There is a reason behind this and I want to focus strictly on Entertainment Man Podcast's YouTube Channel. Also with the eventual plans to expand to The CBOTW Show to YouTube as well. I wanna try and simplify ourselves and this is so much better as 3 YouTube channels. I rather only run 2 at a time so this makes things a ton better.

            You guys will see the occasional gaming video on my personal channel but not too often. As I said The CBOTW Show will be expanding but more details are coming and Kelsie will talk more about it on the end of the week updates on Saturday since I have removed the blog yesterday to figure out things and now I know what I want to do moving forward. More The CBOTW Show details on the video coming Saturday but that is the post for today, I will talk to you all tomorrow!

Power Rangers Podcast is Back!

                After 7 months off the air from Power Rangers Podcast on The CBOTW Show, we are back on the air this week! Exciting I know. 7 month Hiatus from that podcast has probably have you guys wondering if it was to return to air. We feel your frustration as we were on the cusp of finishing up all 30 seasons before the podcast was to stop all together as the series was concluding to move into a reboot phase of the series which we are still planning to look into actually. 

              So this Thursday, February 8th, 2024, Larry and I will be back in this wonderful studio of ours recording the next two seasons which after this week this leaves the final 3 seasons we need to watch, take notes and record. So any podcasts will be already recorded for the coming week every second week so we are directing all our attention to finishing it then it will be a free for all and we are still planning to collaborate with another podcast for a movie of some sort or even TV Show. Anyways that will be later but for now, we're back and look forward to you guys hearing the podcast again and as always I will talk to you all tomorrow!

Feeling Frustrated...

            I am feeling frustrated that people insulted my now former Graphic Designer and Community Director as she's decided to resign but that could change but not the point I want to make. To outright insult my staff's work, I've never seen Kelsie so upset to a point she's done with ChrisBOnTheWeb Media. Hoping in a few days when things calm down she will reconsider leaving as she's been with us for 6 long months and has done amazing work and has the best repour with this community as you guys absolutely LOVE her minus one or two people.

            I've honestly never seen my Staff so upset that they would give up this dream. I mean she's been with us for 6 months means the world to the rest of us. She's part of this community and family and we want her here forever. I want to point out that we will not tolerate bullying, insulting and disrespect in this community. On the bottom of our website we have a Terms of Use that needs to be followed. We have had too much drama in the last 4 years that this year we are NOT going to tolerate crap anymore. Consider this a warning and we do not want to warn you again but there is a terms of use even thought it's hidden at the bottom maybe I need to talk to Jim about moving it to the side bar too perhaps, plaster it all over the website. Anyways the rant is over, I will talk to you all tomorrow!

End of The Week Updates [02-02-2024]

             This week has been full of craziness. Chris tried to bring back The CBOTW Show to YouTube and YouTube took away the subscribers he had which was 3 so RIP YouTube Channel. He's made it clear to stay focused on the two channels for right now, probably permanent as he's stated. He's completed both The CBOTW Show and this weekend's episode of Entertainment Man Podcast so that is out of the way for the week. 

          So this weekend Chris is going to be working on topics for Entertainment Man Podcast for the coming weeks and he has a ton of amazing ideas right now that he has lined up. Plus the guests he's got lined up as well which is very, very exciting but not sure when that is being planned. I know over the next several months Chris and Izac from FunFootball Podcast will be collaborating on The CBOTW Show which will be perfect as Chris and Larry will be done with Power Rangers Podcast OFFICIALLY. Chris has talked about the next stage of this website late Fall 2024. Hopefully by Monday he's on the next Power Rangers Seasons to continue the trek to the end game. Those are the updates, I will talk to you all next week for more updates and hopefully have a progress report. Chris is unsure if he will be live tomorrow but stay tuned for updates on the social media.

Noticed Something With YouTube

            I don't get YouTube with podcasts, the audio RSS Feed does better then the video version, so what's the point of me doing videos on YouTube when Audio ONLY gets a broader range of listens. I know it's your preference whether you guys wanna listen to video and audio but the growth of subscribers has been crazy that's one of the reasons why I've held off leaving but I've come so far on the platform. I know I'm going to get a bit of slack for this but this is just how I feel right now. I know you guys will listen to the podcast wherever you are the most comfortable listening to the podcast, I will never stress it on you. 

              The podcasts are supported no matter what and all the numbers add up. I just find it odd it switched roles one week video does well the other week Audio succeeds more then usual. Just an observation I have made but don't worry I am not going to change anything. Anyways that is all I wanted to say and probably will not bring this up in the future but I will talk to you all on Monday as Kelsie is doing the end of the week updates tomorrow.
