Getting Frustrated

             YouTube was a bit of a pain in the butt. Was having issues with a "Processing Error" on there and you can understand the frustration and truly my anxiety went through the roof on this. I have been fighting this for a while now. I just want to get these finished so I can move on but I think it's definitely a YouTube issue not me. However we know it is a longer episode, hour and a half long, 1 hour long and 18 minutes long so and the first and third one went up no problem whatsoever so that is really strange.

            But I continued to trying to get it up so you guys get to see this but now I need to try and keep episodes to at least an hour long for the nearby future because I have uploaded an hour podcast on "Entertainment Man Podcasts" YouTube Channel with 0 problems. Just this channel seems to be the problematic issue right now. It does sound like something YouTube related cause Entertainment Man hasn't had a problem in the past! Anyways that is the blog post for today, I thank you for reading and I will talk to you all tomorrow!

Decided to Stream to Both Platforms!

         First of all I'm sorry this is up the very next day. I wasn't in a good mood and 2 the internet was being a pain in the butt here in the studio. Second of all, I've reversed the decision to stream on Facebook and YouTube with the occasional gaming stream. Depending on the weeks I have more time but right now I am swamped with work and we're trying to get the workload down. But I will stream for half hour to an hour. However weekly just chatting streams will happen regardless on both Facebook and YouTube. I may as well do both for at least one of the two streams. 

         So I think it is the best move. I know the video I did that is being released I think I will redo the video to explain further but anyways that is coming tomorrow. I just think the more platforms I stream to the better it is. Now I know I would have to subscribe on X in order to use Twitter Live and I do not know how to stream to Instagram on top of FB/YouTube so I am just going to focus on the two for now. Anyways that is the post, be on the lookout for the normal post at 11 am EST for the blog and I will talk to you all tomorrow!

Noticed Something With YouTube

            I don't get YouTube with podcasts, the audio RSS Feed does better then the video version, so what's the point of me doing videos on YouTube when Audio ONLY gets a broader range of listens. I know it's your preference whether you guys wanna listen to video and audio but the growth of subscribers has been crazy that's one of the reasons why I've held off leaving but I've come so far on the platform. I know I'm going to get a bit of slack for this but this is just how I feel right now. I know you guys will listen to the podcast wherever you are the most comfortable listening to the podcast, I will never stress it on you. 

              The podcasts are supported no matter what and all the numbers add up. I just find it odd it switched roles one week video does well the other week Audio succeeds more then usual. Just an observation I have made but don't worry I am not going to change anything. Anyways that is all I wanted to say and probably will not bring this up in the future but I will talk to you all on Monday as Kelsie is doing the end of the week updates tomorrow.

Entertainment Man, The CBOTW Show & YouTube...

             I know there has been once again a lot of questions regarding both podcasts, Entertainment Man Podcast & The CBOTW Show. First Entertainment Man, that is going nowhere on any platform, the plan is to continue on with YouTube and Audio ONLY, I started on there and I by golly I am going to finish on there. Those on the private Facebook group which is a thing, I've spoken about that I was questioning the platform with the ads but I do not even have to worry about that as the YouTube channel is not even earning ads right now as we would need 500 subscribers to do so. But it's more frustrating watching other channels with ads but I'll have to get use to it.

              The CBOTW Show has been the talk about having a YouTube channel and I can be straight up with you, there isn't plans as of right now. Larry and I talked about it but nothing else since then has been stated that we'd go that route. We've been focusing on getting Power Rangers done finally after a very long 5.5 years of doing those podcasts together we are ready to move on with other TV Shows for 2024 so I have been working long hours to getting it done and finished plus Christmas content and what not. So I am swamped with work right now and the next several days will be hectic for me indeed plus editing the Happy Gilmore podcast next weekend as well. The CBOTW Show Future on YouTube?

           As you may know we've been conducting polls that has made us really think about things. One of them is this blog which is changing as you know, but the other thing was the move of The CBOTW Show, with two podcasts currently on the move at this moment, it is remotely impossible for us to work on two channels from week to week. The other thing I want to add to this post is The CBOTW Show is every 2nd week and isn't in my criteria to make the move to YouTube. I know I could ask my team to help me run it and all but I already have Entertainment Man Podcast's channel to run at the time. 

            Whenever Entertainment Man Podcast stops which I am NOT planning to anytime or any day soon but if it was to happen, I'd consider going weekly with The CBOTW Show and then I'd actually consider actually doing YouTube as an option but for now Entertainment Man Podcast on both YouTube/Audio ONLY and this podcast The CBOTW Show on Audio ONLY in the meantime as we continue to build up the amount of episodes each and every week we post episodes to both of the podcasts. 7 Years Since I Originally Retired from YouTube!

             It has been around now 7 years since I originally retired from YouTube the first time around. This also marks 7 years of not being on the YouTube platform as a Creator. Yes I was on there as a fan and watching my favourite creators but it was my 7 year Hiatus from the platform as a content creator as I had nothing else to offer the platform at the time, it was time for me to bow out of YouTube for a break.

              Cannot believe it's been that long since the hiatus started and now just over a year being back on YouTube which mind you took a lot of convincing from you guys to return to the platform actually. I'm glad you guys talked me back into it actually as I have really proven I am a better content creator on YouTube then I was originally that had no structure, no editing, me just goofing off and being a negative Nancy as well. I hope to continue on the platform for many more years and thank you guys, truly I mean it from the bottom of my heart if it wasn't for you guys I wouldn't have returned to the platform and become a huge success that I have become in the last year.

Entertainment Man Podcast-- YouTube Channel is Doing Well!

                 Recently I have seen the growth of the channel not subscriber wise but viewer wise it has done extremely well spanning between 20 and 50 views an episode or per video per week as it is a weekly thing.  To be honest I do not mind the weekly thing as you guys know another certain channel of mine is returning soon and sooner then you expect to be quite honest.  Anyways, ever since that 2.1k video the channel has sort of blown the heck up and it is quite interesting how one video gives you a boost in viewership. I also didn't think that you guys would be interested in hearing what I had to say about how The Video Projects Team, should of had a contract. I mean I never thought you guys still cared about the old team that has now been gone for almost 8 years and still gets love no matter what happened to the group.

                The fact I am sharing my stories from all the different series that I was on I really, really think you guys enjoy those and I have a ton of different stories to tell you guys, little details. However those years are very faded in my memory as I am now pushing 40 in the next couple of years, my memory is starting to fade of those days. Maybe I am just moved on fully from creating web series now perhaps. However I will never forget those days where I actually did the web series but now I am fully focused on the podcasts and blogs now and that is always a priority. I am so off topic now which is normal for me as there is so much to say on these posts and also on the podcast. I honestly wish I did Entertainment Man Podcast on YouTube from the get-go, meaning the beginning when I started it and I could have a ton more subs and views but cannot dwell that and to be honest, I am glad one of my guests I had on the show talk me into going back cause it feels like I never left the platform. However I wanna talk more about YouTube this week and I will be doing 2 more posts but will spread it out between today and Wednesday this way it will not be all clumped together. Anyways that is the post for today I will talk to you all tomorrow.

YouTube-- Updates, Announcements, Behind The Scenes & Streams!

                  Yeah I have noticed uploading to several platforms for Updates, Announcements and Streams is a little much for me. So I have decided any video updates that go beyond 2 minutes or more then I will be doing it via YouTube. Any written updates will continue to be on Social Media as well. With Updates, Announcements, Behind The Scenes and Streams at occasion this will really make this channel a very active place for content. I think it is just easier for me to do it on one platform then several platforms, which means opening up platforms and uploading to each of them. This makes it a ton easier for me and ChrisBOnTheWeb's YouTube Channel the main hub for what I said above. I am trying to simplify things for me as my stress levels are higher then usual. This makes things a ton easier and simple for me. I rather be simple then complicated moving forward.

Makes things a ton better and easier and less stress. I am all about decluttering things for my website and think it is a  better plan then I had originally. Because originally my plan was to delete the ChrisBOnTheWeb channel but decided against it an hour later. Entertainment Man Podcast Has Grown!

                    Despite the mishap of tech issues with the main RSS Feed and the fact I have decided to stay put cause of the amount of support I have had the podcast and to start over again wouldn't be right. So I've decided to stay put for now and any new projects I can start on castbox but that is later on. The Audio ONLY seems to keep on the consistent amount of listens per week and it just seems to stay very consistent but some weeks are higher. I see a trend, 38 listens or higher for the regular episodes and there is episodes I have gotten 50 listens for exaple the interview I did with Hamish that did really, really well and I am very impressed with it honestly. I know I can manage even on my own when there isn't a schedule interview a certain week, doesn't matter I always pull in the listeners every week. I know that one episode seemed to have disappeared and that episode didn't do well so they did me a favor I guess.

                  Now the YouTube side of things, that has done extremely well for me with the last interview I conducted on the podcast for just over 30 views which is rare for me in all the years that I have had a channel and I am quite impressed. People who wanna doubt me think again cause it is doing well. I know I didn't make the best decisions with Entertainment Man Podcast but I am getting better at the business decisions on it and I have to try and listen to my gut instinct when it comes to the decision making. I am proud of myself that I am able to make the right decisions and just gotta remember to keep on making those right decisions. I am going to continue on all the different platforms and just keep this thing growing bigger and better as the weeks go on. That is my post, I will talk to you all tomorrow!

Think I Was Only Semi-Retired From YouTube & Streaming!

                As you know now, I have a YouTube Channel now! Not just a YouTube channel but two of them to be exact. One of them being Entertainment Man Podcast which has been running a few weeks to a month now. Also the gaming/streaming channel that I have on YouTube as well. I know I said that I was done with YouTube and that I'd never go back to owning a channel but as you guys know I have been bugged and begged to stream and make video content and I think you guys finally broke me enough that I did it. And to be quite honest, I am happy that you guys pushed me enough to make a return and things are a little different now then they were almost 6 years ago when I made the announcement that I was done with YouTube and creating video content for you guys. Honestly that has changed and changed quite quickly to be honest but again I am glad this happened. 

                To be quite honest, I wish it happened in 2020 when Entertainment Man Podcast first began it's journey but it is what it is and I have a lot of you guys to thank for that. So I guess you guys can consider it a Semi Retirement and that has now since gone to the way side where I am now streaming more often, well weekends but those details are coming this upcoming week for you guys what the plan is. What I am trying to say is I do not think I was fully retired from YouTube, I was just semi retired. I guess I cannot get enough of the YouTube platform now so I had to make a return to the platform. Did I ever think I would be back on YouTube?

                 That is a great question and the answer to that is no, I never once thought I'd pop back on YouTube again. To be quite honest, I thought I was done with YouTube all together but I guess I was wrong cause I ended up going back to YouTube all together. You know you guys really convinced me to go back especially for Entertainment Man Podcast. What is this my 3rd actual active channel that I have had? Minus the failed ones I had which is an endless number I'm sure. I know when I said I was done with YouTube, I was done with YouTube but things changed years later and I know I had numerous attempts to try and start over but failed at them all in the process but if you don't succeed try, try again as the saying goes. I know I will end up growing on there eventually just like the audio only and I always promote the channel when just an Audio ONLY version of the podcast goes up.

                 So the answer is no, I never thought I'd come back but in the end, I am happy I did. Looking at the numbers it's done really well on YouTube, not as many as the Audio ONLY but it's getting there and I am sure eventually the subs will trickle in here and there. My goal is to beat out thedirector015 channel as that one had 42 and I wanna pass that number and I know I will eventually.  Just gotta keep working on it and keep on growing this monster of a podcast. I never knew it would become so popular especially with requests for interviews have been really high. However I am getting off topic, I am excited to be doing this channel and ready to grow this thing and it becoming a great podcast channel. I think I hit the right kind of podcast cause it's become a hit sensation! Anyways that is the post for today, I will talk to you all tomorrow, have a great rest of your Tuesday.

Thoughts On My Return To YouTube

                   It has been a few weeks now with my return to the YouTube platform and yes it has been nerve wracking trying to promote it and get the channel out there. However I have to thank my fans, friends, family and neighbors for actually subscribing to it and 9 subscribers strong so far. Yeah the views are staggering and they will at the start as I am rebuilding my YouTube community right now and that is how it will be for a little while maybe years but either way I have gotten 40 subs once I can most definitely do it again. The first episode back for Season 3 in what is pretty much my second year of this podcast being on the air did extremely well and I think it had something to do with the way I tagged the episode. Maybe that is what I need to do for this week's episode is really put tags for the episodes and more but I do not know exactly how as most of my tags are pre set when it is posted up but I will more then likely check them next episode that goes up which is this weekends episode. 

                 From here it is about me promoting the YouTube channel and getting more subs and growing. I know my niece and nephew asked, I believe it was my niece but could of been both of them but they asked me if I was going to make money off YouTube but first of all I need to get 1000 subs which I am far from actually there I am technically 991 more subs from that goal so right now I am not worried about that, all I am concerned about is growing the channel and keep on making new episodes every week along with the bonus episodes just on Audio ONLY on Thursdays. Remember Sundays it's on both Video (YouTube) & Audio ONLY and Thursdays just the Audio ONLY side of things. I am ready for this journey and to once again grow again as a content creator and grow this thing.                   I know this is extremely late but trying to do 100 things at once wasn't easy. Anyways today's post and last post of the week, I wanna talk about our YouTube Channel. I know I said we will be back on YouTube and we are but we need to upload a few post tonight then upload it to video so we are back logged a bit and tonight we will be working on getting the cast assessment up, Weeks 1 - 5 up then tomorrow morning we will get Week 6 up on video followed by Audio ONLY tomorrow night. Everything About Reality TV & YouTube!

                As I addressed yesterday on Facebook Live on our Fan Page, we are no longer on FB. I wanna make this a longer explanation as I did not explain it too much at length so this is the post about it. As you guys know we were set to go back to YouTube but apparently one of our really older channels has gotten dislikes galore but that doesn't matter as I have been trying to get it shutdown for quite some time now. However recently our premiere which was set for 2 pm EST was cancelled due to us having a ton of dislikes on it and I'm talking 20 - 30. Someone made sock accounts just to dislike us and also put hateful comments which I will not repeat. So we are continuing to remain Audio ONLY from here on out. We have 0 plans or interest in Video at this point. We have tried several times to return to the YouTube platform and no Buenos on that. We are committed to the Audio ONLY platforms at this point and have deleted the YouTube channel all together. We can re-enable it at any time or place before they permanently delete it but again we have no plans right now. 

                 I was told so many times to stay Audio ONLY and now my team has my back on this and we have discussed this and all are on board with the plan. I should of known better and stayed retired from YouTube and now I am retired. Yes I got a channel for listening to videos and commenting but that's pretty much it. I have no plans to streaming or going back to that website at any point soon. However I may stream on Mixer for the heck of it if they unban my personal account so stay tuned for that. As for YouTube, I am done creating content on that website and got 0 plans to ever stream or create any content. I wanna focus on the Audio ONLY, our website and our network in general.

Everything About Reality TV Podcast-- Updates

                    So you guys are probably wondering what is going on with the YouTube channel and we got some news actually on the status on the platform. After it being created over a month and a half ago, we are OFFICIALLY going to launch it even if Big Brother doesn't happen. This came to me days ago and I didn't get to talk to Larry our Co-Founder & Senior Producer of Everything About Reality TV and he agreed to bring Tough As Nails to The YouTube Channel. This also means the channel will be active even before we start this brand new season, our 14th season which mind you it is very scary to think that we are this far into the podcast. So the other part of this that you may be wondering is what about before the 14th season? Well where are planning this both Video, YouTube & Audio ONLY:

                  There is the timetable for now as we get towards the late part of this month, I will announce the summer timetable but there's content coming and you guys are also getting video content as well besides the Audio ONLY content. We're excited to be back on YouTube and excited to be returning to the platform! This is only Phase 1 of the bigger plan and honestly we cannot announce the summer stuff quite yet due to the fact we do not know what the status of both Big Brother 22 and Amazing Race Canada 8 is and I understand why if they decide to cancel both seasons or even push. I rather not announce anything till we actually know the status on the shows. I know you guys are starting to wonder but at least one of the podcasts for the summer, Tough As Nails is scheduled at this point which will be announced later date to be decided.

Been Over Thinking This Whole YouTube Thing!

                I feel like I have been over thinking with this entire YouTube thing to be honest and this is why I am making a second post for today. Least you cannot say I am doing content. As you know the team and I are preparing to bring Everything About Reality TV Podcast back to YouTube and I spoke to you guys in the early afternoon about the state of our podcast and that we are planning to return to YouTube soon. After this post went up, I had time to think about things and I think I am definitely over thinking things and I wanna for now take these steps to grow the podcast channel of ours:

1. Not worry about earning money from the channel and take the time to really grow the channel and build up the viewership on there over the course of time. 
2. Bring on the shows that we are going to cover on the podcast and fans from the Audio ONLY Platforms. Which really prove to be quite difficult to do at this moment as we are between seasons however. 
3. Get the hosts setup to stream on the channel and try to stream on the channel to ensure they are up and running on the channel. 
4. Not to rush the growth of this channel and really grow it slowly. I do not wanna push the channel too fast and was at fault for that when I wanted to launch the channel at the end of a season.
5. Make a guest appearance here and there and I made a promise to Billy to come on one of his Survivor Recaps as we couldn't make it work with the 2 of us.

                  Those are steps I want to follow and really take the time to adjust to the video side of things. Honestly I will not be live on there as much as you guys think but Chris (Reality Teas) and Billy will be on there most of the time and I am on there on February/March each year. Right now we focus on the Audio ONLY stuff and YouTube will return one day soon. We have to do it when the time is right and with a month to go till Big Brother is to air, we just do not know when it will air to be honest. Just gotta take one step at a time especially with YouTube.

Everything About Reality TV Podcast Is Growing!

             Obviously I have spoken about why I refuse to create content but I want to re-iterate it to you guys why. It is getting to the 4 year mark since I retired from YouTube. Now yes I have tried numerous times to return to bring the Podcast back but failed time and time again and honestly it will just not work out. Honestly there are reasons why such as the views will be suppressed and not too many ppl will find the channel, Ad revenue not being so great and so forth. Also being a new channel it will be a tough uphill battle especially with the advertiser friendly content so it will most definitely tough. The other thing is we have become quite a household name on Audio ONLY lately and I am talking 18 different platforms at the moment as of right now that is how many platforms. This is why I am very skeptical of going back to video and I honestly am happy with the platforms it is on right now and it always growing and even newer platforms that I have never heard about it seems to show up. I think it is clear obviously that I am, sorry we're happy on the platforms that we are on right now and that is what really matters right now is that we're happy where we are on right now. 


              So I think it is very clear that the podcast is meant to be on Audio ONLY and that is what we are going to do. Honestly going back to YouTube at this point I think it is not nor ever going to happen and even with a new podcast in the future or any other content of any sort it will not happen. YouTube has been dead for a while now and with everything that has happened to that platform it's sad honestly. Yes I realize I do watch videos but cannot comment on videos or reply to people as technically I do not have a channel but cant subscribe and like videos etc, etc. So I guess I am an invisible subscriber? Not sure honestly and not sure why but I'm rambling again. Anyways the point is the podcast is growing and that is what matters and all we can really do is keep on growing from here on out and watch it grow more and more as we continue on with the podcast as we are on the move to our 5th Year on the podcast. That are my thoughts on things right now and I am nothing but very happy with the way things have been going for us right now.

Why I Refuse To Go Back On YouTube!

             There is a ton of reasons why and you guys know how I feel about YouTube as a whole especially with what happened recently when I tried to make a return to the platform which I will remind you in this post as one of my points that I am going to make:

1) False Copyright Claims- As you know back in the summer time I went through heck and back with the platform as my royalty free intro was falsely copyright claimed as a song from the group B52's when it wasn't so their system for the copyright system isn't too good honestly in my own opinion. 

2) Ad revenue- Ad revenue is not like it use to be and you have to have 1000 subscribers and so many total views to even get into the revenue. However I rather not earn revenue nor it would be in my goal it all goes back to # 1 on this list which is listed above and has now become one of the main reasons for me. 

3) Any Content Has To Be Family Friendly- As we know since 2016 or 2017 it has to be kid or family friendly and I'm afraid my podcast probably wouldn't even show up in anybody's recommendations at any point. 

4) Notifications- Another thing on the list is the notifications as not all notifications go out to the subscribers hence the way it is now for me and the podcasts and the blog is a ton better as you guys are notified one way or another. 


               In the end I just do not see myself or CBOTW Staff returning to the platform anytime soon as we are going to continue to do Audio ONLY and really no big plans for video anytime soon and with me recently banned from Twitch as well, there is no plans for me to do anything video wise at this point. That is the 4 reasons but the 5th one I really didn't have many trolls on YouTube that is on another platform I used up to recently so YouTube is not a problem with the trolls but YouTube has changed so much since I was on the platform in 2016 but yes I am still around the platform but as a viewer not a content creator and I have no regrets to stopping creating content on there so now I am now focus on here on the website and the podcast platforms our podcasts are on.

YouTube-- Copyright Claims On My Now Former YouTube Podcast Channel

             I have been quiet about this for a while and kept it off the website blog for a few weeks as I have been very very upset at the way it happened. What happened if you are wondering? I will be able tell you as it has been a couple of weeks since the incident happened. Well as you know last month I was in Boston with my parents for a family vacation/holiday whatever you call it. Anyways I got home and back into the grind of blog posts and podcasts and I was going to pre-record a video version of the podcast to premiere onto YouTube but found every single video had minus the intro video to have a copyright claim when the only music was the royalty free intro I have that introduces you guys to the hosts now that we have a second host added onto it. Apparently the claim was I was playing B-52s when there was nothing in the way to that artist so I do not know what the heck they would claim it honestly when that is the only music is the royalty free intro, no singing nothing. It could of been while I was doing the podcast but honestly the rest of that was just me talking! Me, I own the content, I am the Founder/Executive Producer/Host of the podcast! I own all the rights to it. Everything About Reality TV is produced by Chris B On The Web, so CBOTW pretty much also owns the rights since I run and operate the group.  So all of this really did tick me the heck off and I was pretty mad for about a week or so. However now I am pretty much over it all now. 


              So what did I do? I have once again and plan on never returning to YouTube, the channel was subsequently closed by moi (me) as I just do not need this extra stress. I did nothing wrong to deserve this. I did fight the claims and won but I still do not want to return anytime soon as of right now I am over YouTube honestly and fully retired from the platform as a content creator. However I am still active on there watching my favorite YouTubers that are still very much active on the platform. Either then that Everything About Reality TV is back to Audio ONLY now as you guy know and still going very much strong. I am nowhere near done as you know with the recent announcement were going big. It's go big or go home. Honestly have been creating content on Instagram TV which I have now been enjoying and has been doing well. I am forever grateful in the end for the community I grew the 38 subs that I had on both the original channel which I really need to start downloading all the old videos and storing them on a hard drive before I try to get to get that channel taken down for good as it has been inactive. But the copyright claims were totally uncalled for when there was no copyrighted material, just me talking about Reality TV so that really put the damper on things so that is why I have gone back to Audio ONLY and haven't decided to stick to Audio ONLY and it is the best move I can make at this point. I know you guys told me you do not blame me for making this move.
