Semi-Retired from Streaming

               It is official! I am retired from streaming on streaming platforms minus Facebook & Instagram. I will get to why. I just do not have anytime to stream anymore. I am very busy with content and running ChrisBOnTheWeb's YouTube Channel which is will be full of content at some time. So the Twitch channel is gone, it has been removed from the platform... Well deactivated at the moment. I have no reason to stream right now. I want to focus on the content. As for gaming I will still game on my days off. I will play with my friends, especially Sheldon. 

             So the schedule wise, as I said will be a lot less and it looks like it's empty and it's not. We will be posting a ton of stuff on the platforms we have, Facebook/X aka Twitter/Instagram/TikTok/YouTube, plenty of platforms out there. I promise YouTube isn't being deleted, it is here to stay for the foreseeable future and if I need a break I will but not the right moment to mention it. Anyways you will see me on social media streaming weekly so stay tuned and follow us on Social Media to when we go live. I will talk to you next week, have a great weekend.

Streaming Updates [12-20-2024]

               2025 is closing in and we've actually readjusted the schedule. However the podcast schedule is remaining as we planned well before I resigned as CEO.  The only thing I adjusted Friday morning in the wee bit of the morning was the stream schedule which will be on Saturdays and Sundays and here is the schedule:

Saturday: 1 pm ET- Just Chatting, updates, news, things being worked on, answering website & podcast questions.

Sunday: 2 pm ET- Gaming Stream, streaming video games, Fortnite, Minecraft, Grocery Store Simulator, My Garage and much more with the Former CEO and currently the Director of Content, Executive Producer/Host.

             This schedule starts January 1st, 2025. Right now the streams are actually sporadic due to the Holidays starting and Chris is extremely busy but has promised at least a stream tomorrow. Have a great Christmas and there are blogs tomorrow and on Christmas.

Will I Return To Streaming?

               I know I haven't streamed much lately and clearly been painted a bad person due to Staff and community drama but have moved on. But in my honest opinion I've have been tired of streaming to websites. I am ready to walk away from Twitch but doesn't mean I will not stream on Facebook Fan Page once we hit the 100th follower and we are SO close to 100, just 3 away from the 100th. I had to remove a couple of people due to drama but we as a team have bounced right back and heading into the right direction.

              I rather stream on those platforms and get views compare to the platform I mentioned where I got zilch. We have to go where the views are and you can see where I am coming from and we get a lot more views on social media rather then the streaming sites and will probably limit it to 1 or 2 streams a week as content is the priority for me as that is my job. As for video games I do that on my spare time and will provide insight and updates on the games how far I get. So expect the random streams as I want to chat with you all like we use to and as always I will talk to you all tomorrow!

I Made a Bad Judgement Call...

              I know that I haven't been making the correct call with things. We still have the twitch channel regardless. I will stream on there but it will be randomly when I am available and able to stream. I am trying to aim for weekends but with the holidays, birthdays coming up I do not know when but I am planning a birthday stream around 9 pm EST on December 5th. So I will make sure to let you guys know. I don't know how long I will stream for but as long as I can. Maybe an appearance from a friend of mine during a Fortnite sesh perhaps?

              Anyways I want to make it up to you guys for such behavior what I did getting suspended for an entire week. You never know I may pop up tonight with Sheldon perhaps to start making it up for you guys. Haters will hate and will be banned from our mods in the chat. Will not tolerate drama, hate, disrespect whatsoever. PG channel at all time on Twitch. A channel for everyone to hang at if you guys know what I mean. So Twitch is still in the cards and look forward to many more streams in the future especially with a green screen on it's way soon.                Content Schedule as follow as the changes that have been made:

Sundays: 1 pm EST- Entertainment Man Podcast (YouTube/Audio ONLY)

Monday - Fridays: 11 AM EST- Daily Blog

Wednesdays:  Week 1, 1 pm EST- Entertainment Man Podcast (YouTube/Audio ONLY)

               I have simplified things 100 times better and got a video ready and excited to share with you guys. This is a better schedule and we continue to grow and learn each and every day. Anyways that is the post for today, I will speak to you all tomorrow for another blog post.

YouTube and Copyright

                I know I have had to delete some of the streams cause of copyright and for crying out loud I muted quick but apparently not quick enough... So I know now I will not be streaming Grand Theft Auto 5 or Grand Theft Auto 6 whatsoever cause of the copyright and their very stingy on the copyright especially that I actually muted it very very quickly like give me a break! I muted it and very, very fast! But noooo they are too strict on this and why even allow us to stream it on YouTube and make it restricted in a pile of countries honestly? 

                This is most definitely off my list and I have a pile of other games I wanna play and get done and is more important on my list right now. Games I do wanna play more of all together. I just don't like the fact I turned it off quickly and yet I still get slapped with copyright so I deleted the streams and got rid of the copyright affected so now that is out of the way, I am going to focus on other things. Anyways that is everything I wanted to say about the subject and as always I will talk to you all tomorrow.

I Find my Streams Relaxing!

              I love the weekend streams, both just chatting and gaming streams and why I dedicate two days of streaming unless I am not available for it. I love chatting with you guys but dual streaming has become a headache especially back on the weekend, I turned off the FB stream to Prism Studio freezing up and I had to restart the entire cast on YouTube so another program bites the dust on top of Skype being a pain now Prism Studio Live I am not too fond of. 

             If you are wondering how I stream, well I am using OBS Studio like I did since 2015. It is very reliable and easy to use and I have everything pretty much setup and ready to go for streams moving forward. I know I would have to switch back and forth when I am streaming to Entertainment Man but most of the time I will be using Streamyard for the most part. Anyways that is today's post, I will be talking to you all tomorrow for another blog post.

Moving Minecraft World To another Server...

         I will be moving my Minecraft server so other people can join but there will be rules such as: 

1) No destroying or modifying the buildings 

2) No asking for OP's 

3) No being disrespectful in the server. 

4) Will have to be a subscriber of the server for a bit so I can trust you. (Reason behind that rule is because my base was destroyed a few times.)

          That is basically the rules and eventually I will put a gaming server once I continue to grow the channel but that will be later on but this won't be for a while and I plan on gaming streams from time to time but it will be an unscheduled stream... So basically I will have my weekly streams on Facebook and YouTube on Saturdays and times vary due to my busy, busy schedule. Anyways that is the post for today, I will as always speak to you all tomorrow for another blog post.

Do I Miss Streaming At All?

               The question is do I miss streaming? The  answer is a straight plain NO. The reasons behind that are trolls, I have a zero tolerance for the trolls especially and also the fact I have had to endure the amount of dislikes on each video on YouTube, I do not miss it whatsoever. Twitch or any other platform, I pretty much got trolled the heck off at least 3 or 4 platforms over the course of time. I could care less about video platforms I am very much happier where I'm at right now and that is what matters to me is I rather do the blogging and podcasting on Audio Only then waste my time stream. I know CBOTW Gamers Podcast is pending to return and there has been talks about me bringing it to video but I would have to convince my potential to stay Audio ONLY and to be honest not sure if it'll happen but it is being talked about and not 100% sure if it would happen whatsoever. 

                Back to streaming, I do not miss the trolls, it was pathetic to having to put up with that day in, day out and I do not miss any of this. I got better things to do with my time then streaming. I still got OBS in case of the slight chance but to be honest I will use it in case I fail to get Mix Minus setup by July for Power Rangers Collaboration Podcast and we may have to push back Mystic Force as I have been diddly daddling but the only reason I would use OBS only in case the mix minus is not setup properly and need more time but we'll find out tonight what happens with the settings but OBS is there as a primary back up for that but more then likely I will never stream ever again. That ship has sailed and I am very happy and comfortable where I am to this day with what I am doing. Yes CBOTW Studios and the CBOTW Studios Bot have been disabled on Twitch and more then likely will never log back into that account that is that post and there is a special guest post tomorrow and you might see em around my Facebook Group and my Twitter from time to time so I will talk to you all Monday, have a great weekend!

Mixer Shutting Down-- My Thoughts?

           This came sudden to me with the announcement for Mixer streaming website and I was honestly shocked. I know recently I have had my own feelings about the website but will not talk bad about them as it was a really good website up to me being banned for apparently being under 13 years of age which all of you clearly know that I am not. I was reading into their blog post and did not understand why they were closing and it doesn't  really explain why it is shutting down but here's the article: https://blog.mixer.com/2020/06/22/the-next-step-for-mixer/  however I do not understand why. In my opinion it is truly sad to see another website closed. First Stickam which I grew up with, then BlogTV.com then Justin.TV, Stream.me and so forth. This does mean that streamers will either have to go to Facebook gaming as it says in the post or some go back to Twitch, YouTube or another website. I know how it feels to go from site to site, I've been there as some was the perfect fit for me some weren't. It is wherever you are most comfortable streaming to be honest/

            However I have to remain positive with this post and I have to say thank-you to the Mixer Team for being there for us gaming content creators and helping us grow as creators and grow our community and help us succeed in creating our own community and building. We understand why you have to close down and I remember when it first opened and trust me I was most impressed with the way it looked and I loved the way the chat looked and the name colors rather then a badge for a rank on your chat or even subscriber and I really liked that they were different from other platforms.  I may not be streaming games anymore but still support gaming sites even without it as I watch streamers like Taran from Rob Has A Podcast, Kevin from Big Brother Canada, Boogie2988, McJuggernuggets. Also still streaming our podcast on YouTube eventually. However thank you for reading what I have to say and stayed positive throughout the post and I will see you in the next post tomorrow.

You Got Me, The Rest of The Summer!

            I know things did not pan out with YouTube but what the heck can you do? Since I got home, I thought things were going well honestly. Till this whole entire YouTube thing, now the podcast is back on Audio ONLY as it is just pathetic after what happened and I am now over it and fully am retired from YouTube. Anyways I am pretty all yours for the remainder of the summer. The schedule this week is a bit screwy as most of you know I am just not active on social media lately, I went M.I.A. from it all and the reason is I have been spending a good amount of time with my niece and nephew but after today I am all yours, yes my Aunt and Uncle are coming from British Columbia but I will always have time for you guys honestly. Yes I am back on Twitch on weekend streams but may do an a late night stream when my parents are away, never know! Either then that I am promising by next week to get the schedule right finally! The last week and a half has been a whirlwind of craziness with drama as you know from the previous blog late last night. I am not going anywhere and I will be definitely around my studio a lot more and ready to record twice a week and only a month left honestly of Amazing Race Canada 7 which is crazy and it will be an interesting finish as it is anyone's game honestly! 


           I promise by this weekend I will be more active on social media as I said before I have been very quiet and part of it was cause I was in one of my moods also instead of that weight loss update which now has been screwed over by the amount of food I had, I am planning a review about the Lion King movie as I just saw it yesterday with my parents, niece and nephew. So some new stuff is coming as tomorrow I wrap up the Boston trip food reviews. I am looking forward to the ton of content I have for you guys over the course of August from podcast content to new topics and ideas to talk with you guys and the occasional rant, especially with the recent stunt a certain platform pulled on me which I did discuss last night which I am certainly entitled to my opinion and I was being nice compare to Tuesday afternoon when I was entirely fired up over it. However a certain podcast that is in the pre-production stages is being planned to be streamed over on Twitch down the road once I build up my twitch audience too! More information to come in the near future once I know I am going to definitely do that!
