Willy Wonka Movie Review [No Spoilers]

Back on the weekend, I got to go to see Willy Wonka which was a prequel to the one they did with Johnny Depp who is very well known with the movies Pirates of The Caribbean. Anyways Johnny Depp wasn't in this movie though. Was a different actor Timothee Chalamet was the one that  played Wonka. Also Rowan Atkinson was in this too as a Bishop which he never once disappointed us, especially one scene with him with a giraffe but no spoilers whatsoever.

This is a combination of comedy as there is funny parts but also it has a bit of a musical esk kind of movie and don't get me wrong their neat. I wasn't getting the vibe of the movie at the start till I got further into the movie. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the movie and was a fantastic movie. Just was slower for me to get right into the movie but once I did, I enjoyed it. Anyways I would give this movie 2 thumbs up as I highly recommend it to you guys to see it if you haven't. Final thoughts, I want to see the Willy Wonka with Johnny Depp and is on my bucket list of movies that I'd wanna see. Anyways I will as always talk to you all tomorrow for another post!

Good Burger Movie Review!

As most of you know I was sick end of the week last week with some kind of bug of some sort but anyways, I got to sit back and watch the movie. It starred Kenan Thompson who is well know for the Mighty Ducks movies, D2: The Mighty Ducks and D3: The Mighty Ducks. Also Sinbad made an appearance here and there he pops up few times during the movie but he was hilarious. It wouldn't be a movie without him. The other movie I saw him in was Jingle All The Way which is a Christmas Movie and that also stars Arnold Schwarzenegger.

I really enjoyed the movie, was really strange at the start but the further I got into it and I really got interest. I would give it a 10 out of 10 and really hope this year at some point they do go through with releasing Good Burger 2 as they have a sequel in the works and the script for it is done now. I highly recommend this movie if you want a laugh, it's a fun family comedy movie that is for everyone! Anyways that is the post for today, I will speak to you all tomorrow for another blog post.

Wrongfully Accused Movie Review

First of all, Leslie Nielson is a great actor and this movie was nuts, I mean just nuts. It was just like the Naked Gun movies which was nuts too but hilarious. There was scene in this movie, I think I played back several times actually. That was him trying to hot wire the car and it started to play Lacucaracha and bouncing up and down righ to the point of him stopping the car after driving it, I almost fell off my chair in the studio from laughing so hard. Also the scene of him in the hospital which was another scene he was printing off some information and all he wanted to do was print the information out and the machin said ok, ok, ok and called him a name just randomly and the look on his face was priceless. Same goes with the car sign as well. Back to the car scene the poor guy in the porta potty unsure what was going on, I felt bad for him.

Anyways to the review part as I wanted to talk about two or three different things but if you are feeling down, watch a comedy movie and I even recommend this movie as it is worth your hour and a half of your time. It is a very hilarious movie and worth it. I give this movie 10 out of 10 as it is funny and keeps you laughing the entire time and it has that same Naked Gun movies vibe almost which is very funny also so you cannot go wrong with Leslie Nielson whatsoever. Anyways that is the post for today, I will talk to you all tomorrow for a blog about my trip to Toronto which is where I have disappeared to today.

Mamma Mia The Movie Review

Mamma Mia the Movie has been out for quite some time now and I never really did a movie review of this movie. It is exactly like the musical on stage but it really gives you more a consensus what Greece is like as on stage they try to make it as similar to the location it is taking place. Love the scenery in the movie, it is absolutely beautiful there! Definitely a country I'd love to go and visit one day. Anyways one of my favorite movies and highly recommend the movie if you are an ABBA fan. It really gets you up on your feet wanting to dance. Amanda Seyfried, Pierce Brosman and Meryl Streep was amazing. Never thought Pierce Brosman could sing but he could!

I give this movie, 10 out of 10, great movie, great music. So entertaining and I enjoyed this movie and I can watch this movie over and over again honestly. It is hard to tell you guys a lot without spoiling for those who haven't seen the movie yet it is between around for quite sometime now but again, I do not wanna spoil it for you guys regardless it's a mini review, I am not going into full details but talked a bit about some of the actors in general. If you haven't seen it, I highly recommend it but I am sure you guys already have by now. That is my post for today and I will talk to you all tomorrow!

The Man Movie Review

This has been a movie, I've wanted to review for a very long time now. The Man has Samuel L. Jackson and Eugene Levy in the movie which is between a comedy and action and it is hard to really categorize it myself and I would have to look it up but majority of the movie is comedy. I can say both Samuel L. Jackson and Eugene are quite a pair in this. Reason I say that is the scene where Eugene Levy says you shot me and Samuel says I grazed you was pretty hilarious but the most hilarious is when he questions Vann which is the role that Samuel L. Jackson plays why he swears so much and that he say say f you, f this then he mentions to add for crying then you will be able to say oh for crying out loud! You can imagine how times I replayed that scene over and over again. Pretty epic moment in the movie to be honest.

I didn't realize this the movie was filmed in Toronto as the streetcar tracks are visible on the camera. So very cool and the one angle you can see part of the skyline but no CN Tower or now called the Rogers Centre. Either way, it is an amazing movie and I enjoy the movie and I watched it recently for a laugh and that was the main purpose behind it as I was feeling down on myself and needed a laugh. So if you like comedies I do highly recommend this movie. Such a great movie and was hilarious at times. Oh one other thing I would like to add in how many times Eugene Levy said "I DID NOTHING WRONG!" I just love the way they had smart alec comments made from him. I give it a 10 out of 10 all day long. That is my post for today, it is not a long one like the last few days but I will talk to you all tomorrow.

The Long, Long Trailer Movie Review

I haven't done a movie review in a week almost so decided to do another one and you guys love these so why not, maybe I should pick a movie every week to review. Let me know in the comments any recommendations I may like. Anyways this movie is just plain crazy as I Love Lucy with the Shenigans they get into. I will name a few as I am writing this while watching the movie at the moment. First one them getting stuck in the mud and Ricky using the jack to try and even up the trailer. The next thing I'd like to point out is is her making eggs and the eggs kept on falling off the pan which was hilarious watching her time and time again trying to cook and everything fell off cause the trailer was sideways. The next point I wanna point out as well is trying to go to bed and she kept on falling off the bed. You can see its the same kind of scenes they would do on Lucy and it makes it for a hilarious movie. At the end she fell out of the trailer into the mud. Ha-ha! Actress Madge Blake I recognize because she player Mrs. Harriet Cooper in the 1966 TV Series of Batman.  I nearly fell out of my chair laughing when they were trying to park the trailer.

Oh I am not even finished the start of her collecting rocks and unable to go up hills eventually which definitely got me laughing. Also the part where she said "You're going south and you gotta read the map upside down." This movie is crazy and my mom wasn't kidding when she told me it's hilarious and it is. It is amazing how cheap things were for 1953 and so different. One thing that gets me is I thought color TV wasn't invented till the late 1959's into the 1960s so I do not understand why it was in color for 1953 but anything is possible with the technology today. Another scene was quite hilarious was Lucy with prepping the salad in the trailer while it was moving. Anyways it was a great movie 10 out of 10 in my movie review and will have to check if there's other movies with her in it and maybe something for me to do in the very nearby future.

Happy Gilmore Movie Review

Since this movie actually makes the top of my list it is time for a movie review here on the blog today. This is indeed still the top of my list favorite movies of all times and always will be at the top of my list and to be honest, I do not think it'll change anytime soon. The movie stars, Adam Sandler, Christopher McDonald and pile of other amazing actors including the long time former host of The Price is Right, Bob Barker who is pretty much an idol to me as I have been watching him since I was younger thanks to my grandpa who introduced me to the show back growing up. I do not need to go into much detail but pretty much the movie is about Happy Gilmore who wanted to play hockey turned into a pro golfer. Now mind you there is a ton of cursing in it and you can imagine how many bleeps there would be if they'd had to bleep it out... LOL!

Anyways, getting way off topic to be honest, the movie has its moments of Happy Gilmore cursing and even at the golf ball. To him fighting Bob Barker and the The Price is Wrong Bob (which has an explicit) I added Bob to keep this blog appropriate. Also to this day it is still an iconic scene from the movie and remains that for a 90's movie. Another point I would like to make is the scene with him and that stinkin clown scene where he wacks the clowns nose off at the end was another great scene. However the scene that beats em all is when he beats Shooter McGavin and the look on his face was absolutely priceless! Anyways this movie gets 20 out of 20 as it is such an amazing movie and if you haven't seen it, I'd recommend you guys to see it. I could watch it over and over again. That is my post for today, hope you guys enjoyed it and I will talk to you guys tomorrow.

Matilda Movie Review (1996)

I know this movie is very old 25 years old now but I grew up with this movie as I was slowly at the end of my Elementary School by 5 years and I watched the movie again and wanted to give a full review on this movie as it is a light hearted and fun movie honestly. I like how Miss. Trunchbull is so sarcastic at time and the actress did really well on that role, she was fit for that role. I learned some thing with Amanda Thripp being thrown she had a line on and the pig tails were glued on which I loved the story of the behind the scenes as I found some of them on YouTube without realizing that they probably are on the DVD version of the movie to be honest! However I love this movie and Danny Devito always up to his best performance and the glued hat on his hat prank was just epic, I enjoyed every moment of that or the lotion he put on his head which Matilda (Mara Wilson) put Peroxide if I remember exactly and his hair turned blonde, haha!

So this movie gets 10/10 as I really enjoyed it and it may be old but still a classic movie and if you guys enjoyed this little blog review, I plan on doing more. One last thing I would like say I also saw the reunion I believe it was a 20 year anniversary and to see them do some of their lines was really cool. I didn't realize Mara is my age as I share the same birth year as her as it is cool. Either way I can watch this movie 100 times as it never gets old but at the most I watch it once a year at the most. That is my post and I will talk to you guys tomorrow.

Han Solo Story-- Star Wars Movie Review

Yesterday morning, I couldn't sleep so I decided to watch Han Solo Story for the very first time as I got it back in Christmas. My brother said it was OK, but I found it alright. It was good, it kind of gave me the story of when Han and Chewie met and also getting to know how Han and Lando met so that was cool too. It kind of answered a lot of questions I had how the two knew each other prior to the Empire Strikes Back aka Episode # 5.  Also I noticed they used older music from previous movies was really cool and mind you this movie took place between Episode 3 and Episode 4 along with Rogue One as well. This definitely told a story and the actor who played Han did a really good job. I'm sure he got tips from Harrison Ford before the filming begun.

The movie itself will not get a full 10 out of 10 but I am going to be fair with my assessment of this movie. It wasn't bad and it wasn't excellent but I am giving the movie 7 out of 10 which is a 70% if you put in a percentage. Mind you this is the first time I have seen this movie as I haven't had the time to watch this movie. Either way it wasn't boring it was interesting enough for me to keep on watching right through. I'd watch it again in the very nearby future. If you guys enjoyed this kind of movie review let me know in the comments below and I think I am going to try and do one every week or two depending if there is a new movie I have not watched. Maybe 2 weeks from now I will do a Horror Movie or something maybe a review on The Shining which was a great movie back in the day. I will review that one next week.

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker Review (With Spoilers)

Now that it has been a few weeks since the Rise of Skywalker came out, I think it is time for me to write a spoiler version of Star Wars: Rise of Skywalker. Now if you haven't seen the movie, please do not read further as this post does contain spoilers.  You cannot say I warned you guys on this because I did. Anyways to the post:

As you know I did do a non spoiler version of the post but this contains things from the movie. There is a few neat things I wanna talk about and the first one is the voice of Vader popped up there when you heard the voice of the Emperor you also hear the voice of Darth Vader which is voiced by the one and only James Earl Jones. Also an appearance of Harrison Ford as Han Solo which my thoughts was how can get come back? But he could of been one with the force or something like that. Also the bickering between Threepio and R2-D2 that brought back a ton of nostalgia in the original movies and nothing wrong with that whatsoever. Also I may as say this as well when they started playing the "Imperial March" I had that chill down my spine as it honestly brought back a ton of memories from the original trilogy not the prequels but Episode 4, 5 & 6 that is from 1977 up to 1983. I still to this day question how on earth the Emperor came back as he fell down that shaft and surprised but what I found out is he created a wormhole to Hexigal where he hiding. Also the machine he was hooked up was used to keep his form together. If he wasn't hooked up to that machine he'd disintegrate to nothing. Now the way the Princess was written out of the series was obviously she died in the movie sorry but this is indeed a spoiler post today. Now the whole Chewbacca dying in the shuttle I was like heck no this isn't happening especially later on Leia passes away that would be 2 but do not forget Kylo also dies so that would of made 3 in total but was only 2 as Chewie was fine and honestly I am a big Chewbacca fan to be honest.

So the movie as I said in my original post that I did still has a 10 out of 10 and was worth almost 3 hours worth of a movie as people said it was almost an 3 hour movie which that's OK as I enjoyed every moment of the movie. Now the end of the movie with Rey burying the two lightsabres, one being Princess Leia's light saber which I didn't realize she had one which I am sure there is more to that story and maybe something they can do is a side thing between Episode 6 and 7 they could definitely do something but again it would of been difficult as Carrie Fisher has passed away and Mark Hamill is now older so that can be a bit more difficult but with CGI anything is possible. However back to what I was saying that Rey took something out in a cloth which was a new lightsaber which I think she probably built at some point. Either way that is my spoiler post, I hope you enjoyed me bantering on about the movie and this probably was more interesting then the non spoiler post. I will see you guys in the next post tomorrow!

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker Movie Review! (No Spoilers!)

Yesterday I had the pleasure to go and see Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker or also known as EP # 9 of the 3rd trilogy out of the series that they have done 1977. Now as the title says, I promise to not give any spoilers but I can say it really answers everything I had in the back of my mind for the past so many months now. I can say this movie has a bit of stuff from Episodes 4, 5 & 6 I can say again I will not go into full spoilers but it answers a lot especially with the trailer with the Emperor's laugh now I understand the entire storyline and how it entirely went. This is clearly hard for me to write... lol... It is so difficult to not spoil the entire movie. I can say yes there is something with the emperor as you will see it once you see the movie. There was parts I was completely shocked on and again not going to say what as this movie has only been out 2 days and maybe by mid January I will do a spoiler post for you guys. I remember there was times Larry or I would say something quietly to each other about the movie and like I said I promise to do a more spoiler version of the movie mid January. The look on Larry's face was quite interesting or his one comment of "Didn't see that happening!" and yes I am not going to specify what it was either at this moment.

I am not going to make this a overly a long post but movie wise the movie was exciting a long of action and fight scenes in it. I really enjoyed it and honestly I think I enjoyed this movie more then the last 2 but that is honestly my opinion and you guys may have a different opinion on this movie but if you haven't seen it and a very big Star Wars fan I highly recommend to go and see it. I got from Larry's mom a Darth Vader toy when you press on his chest piece he starts to breath like back at the end of Ep 3 in Ep 4, 5 & 6. Now we got a medium popcorn with a medium soft drink. I was shocked what the theater looked like after all the renovations it went through with the nice reclining seats it had in it so we definitely went comfortable for the movie this year. Anyways in conclusion if you are a big Star Wars fan, I highly recommend to see this movie as you will not be disappointed at all. Finally I am sorry this is late with the holidays coming, I am very busy with the family stuff going on and I promise you guys I will do a post on time tomorrow at the usual 12 pm EST.

You Got Me, The Rest of The Summer!

I know things did not pan out with YouTube but what the heck can you do? Since I got home, I thought things were going well honestly. Till this whole entire YouTube thing, now the podcast is back on Audio ONLY as it is just pathetic after what happened and I am now over it and fully am retired from YouTube. Anyways I am pretty all yours for the remainder of the summer. The schedule this week is a bit screwy as most of you know I am just not active on social media lately, I went M.I.A. from it all and the reason is I have been spending a good amount of time with my niece and nephew but after today I am all yours, yes my Aunt and Uncle are coming from British Columbia but I will always have time for you guys honestly. Yes I am back on Twitch on weekend streams but may do an a late night stream when my parents are away, never know! Either then that I am promising by next week to get the schedule right finally! The last week and a half has been a whirlwind of craziness with drama as you know from the previous blog late last night. I am not going anywhere and I will be definitely around my studio a lot more and ready to record twice a week and only a month left honestly of Amazing Race Canada 7 which is crazy and it will be an interesting finish as it is anyone's game honestly!

I promise by this weekend I will be more active on social media as I said before I have been very quiet and part of it was cause I was in one of my moods also instead of that weight loss update which now has been screwed over by the amount of food I had, I am planning a review about the Lion King movie as I just saw it yesterday with my parents, niece and nephew. So some new stuff is coming as tomorrow I wrap up the Boston trip food reviews. I am looking forward to the ton of content I have for you guys over the course of August from podcast content to new topics and ideas to talk with you guys and the occasional rant, especially with the recent stunt a certain platform pulled on me which I did discuss last night which I am certainly entitled to my opinion and I was being nice compare to Tuesday afternoon when I was entirely fired up over it. However a certain podcast that is in the pre-production stages is being planned to be streamed over on Twitch down the road once I build up my twitch audience too! More information to come in the near future once I know I am going to definitely do that!

Fantastic Beasts: Crimes of The Grindewald Movie Review! (Some Spoilers!)

Yesterday I got to see Fantastic Beasts Crimes of The Grindewald with my good friend Larry which got my head thinking there was a bunch of references to the Harry Potter Movies that came out before and I know JK Rowling was involved with the movie and found out it was a book originally which now I will have to go through reading the books now that I have seen the movie with Larry so it makes complete and utter sense to me how the storyline goes and I just found about it weeks before thanks to Larry not TELLING me about it sooner. So back to the Harry Potter References that were made in the movie, the first one was Albus Dumbledore who we know by now was the Head Master of Hogworts School and Magical and Wizardry. This brings me to my next Harry Potter reference is Hogwarts which is seen in several scenes through the middle to the end of the movie which is odd seeing the castle again but that really put a smile on my face as I can recognize the rivers from the movies that I have seen and of course the castle itself. Also the mention of Professor McGonagall was mentioned and we seen her briefly walking around in the hall there.  Finally I found out Dumbledore was a Defense Against the Dark Arts Teacher.

Overall the movie was good, really did enjoy it, however I was confused at points of the movie but then it suddenly clicked in as we got further in the movie how the story line went and I recognized some of the spells that were used back in the Harry Potter books and Movies as well. I like the fact they used the old castle aka Hogwarts from Harry Potter movies and also one other recognized name as well. It was well put together and soon as the movie ended I realized I think there will be another movie down the road and both Larry and I agreed there will be another movie but I just read up there will be exactly 5 videos coming out according to JK Rowling interview I read online and it is easy to Google and find on the internet as well. We both enjoyed the entire movie and I can only speak for myself not Larry but he is more then welcome to do a movie review himself of the movie on this blog post as I totally forgotten he has the privilege to post up on here as well. I hope you guys enjoyed this review and I tried to not spoil all of the movie but I made a few references in the movie but without spoiling the entire movie. If you have seen the movie what did you guys think of the movie yourself? Let me know in the comments below!

Star Wars: The Last Jedi (With Spoilers)

First of all, I know I covered this, however I went without spoilers of the movie and it's been a month since the movie came out and I think I am in the clear to make more observations on the movie at this point of time with it being a month and I am pretty sure everyone has seen the new Star Wars Movies.

Now, I wasn't expecting  a lot of things, like I said in my first impressions post like I thought Leia was going to die when Kylo Ren shot those missiles from his Tie Fighter which mind you Darth Vader has the same similar fighter like Kylo had in the recent movie and that was a comparison I noticed  between the original 3 movies to the ones after Episode 6. The next thing that I thought was the entire Luke Skywalker thing, when he fought Kylo Ren, I thought he actually appeared at that planet so I didn't know it was a hologram of Luke from another planet. Now the part of him disappearing to the point where there was nothing but his robes left as you know that was what happened to Obi Wan Kenobi back in Episode # 4 A New Hope.  I didn't think he made himself this mentally exhausted to a point of him dying. I was like ok, what the heck just happened in the movie.

Another thing was I saw the AT AT's the walkers that we saw in Episode # 5 The Empire Strikes Back which is the first time we have seen since the 5th Episode in the Star Wars Trilogy. There was a lot of what the heck moments during the movie, it is hard to remember every moment. There are theories she could of been family from another character as she isn't related ton Emperor Palatine at all. Also another question I have is how are they going to write off Leia's character as we all know Carrie Fisher passed away a year ago back in December and I heard rumors they will use older footage from the past, but not sure how that will be used which would be hard. They cant really use footage from her back in Episodes 4 - 6 unless CGI is used and CGI stands for Computer-generated imagery which actually used for the younger version of Leia and also Grand Moth Tarkin in Star Wars: Rogue One, so anything is possible and can happen in Episode 9 in 2019.

Have a great Afternoon!

Star Wars: The Last Jedi (No SPOILERS!)

Well today, I got to see Star Wars: The Last Jedi and on 3 hours of sleep! All I am going to say it was an amazing movie, lived up more to my exception in this movie, like I said to Larry, there was theories I heard went right out the door but like the title of this blog says this particular NO Spoilers and I tend to keep this blog for today, as I said I will be doing a spoilers blog in the middle of January/Late January.

The start of the movie was so action packed, it drew me in right away and I was hooked right through the movie. Of course there was moments in the movie that I was like what? I don't understand, but as the movie went on, it got better and it became very, very clear what was going on, again, I do not wanna spoil the movie. I found this movie to be the best movie out of The Force Awakens and the Last Jedi in the new trilogy but we don't know how EP # 9 will be. I wasn't expecting the ending to be what it was, I think my jaw dropped to the floor of the theater at the end of the movie, I didn't even see that was going to happen and I was like oh crap. I was completely blindsided to see that one scene happen.

The theories I had about Rey being family to Obi Wan Kenobi or The former Emperor went out the door. Now let's talk about the trailer which I am sure you all have seen by now, with Leia and a beam coming her way to the ship, I was thrown off by that completely and I thought I that is how she died and it wasn't what I thought when I saw the trailer initially the first time around, I will talk more about that in the New Year with spoilers. I wasn't expecting the movie to be this good, but I was like wow! What a movie, I can't wait for the next movie in 2019, it is now the waiting game and I am merely looking forward to the next Star Wars Movie in 2019, but also looking forward to the story about Han Solo next year. Finally overall the movie was so amazing, wish I was able to give it beyond 10 out of 10 stars, I was not expecting the movie to be this good in my honest opinion. You can say my expectations were not as high as I expected but myself and Larry did enjoy this movie and we are excited for the next movie in the trilogy in 2019.
