Additional Episode of The CBOTW Show is coming!

The expansion of our podcast network continues on! This week is the start of the new podcast with Chris and JBird and yesterday he was recording with him and should be up on Saturday at 3 pm EST. So this is very exciting indeed and not too sure how often it will be going up, monthly, twice a month? I am not quite sure what the plans are for them and I haven't been made aware of.

They are probably going to play it by ear for right now and see how it goes for the first few episodes but I can say that Chris and the rest of the hosting team for The CBOTW Show main feed as he calls it has done really, really well and the podcast has been really discovered as the numbers continue to climb we continue to add new shows to the list not just this one but the Reality TV Recaps as well.

The CBOTW Show...

The layout of The CBOTW Show main feed is unchanged but we will not be on YouTube obviously but I am working on something that will change the face of this company. I will be embedding or trying to embed a video player on our website with the site we have moved to. My show with JBird will be live but Bob and I & Larry I remain pre-recorded for our shows moving in the future.

Now Reality TV wise there is only 2 shows on our network right now and I feel like it's not the perfect fit to stream it as of right now and I even mentioned it in the bio of the podcast and it is actually an audio only platform and we are going to keep it this way. I know that Mary and I have spoken about posting the episodes to Mac and Cheese Podcast but we haven't gone any further with that at the moment. I will have a conversation with her further so the Reality TV end it is staying Audio ONLY for now but no live show. Anyways sorry for such a late post but as always I will talk to you all tomorrow.

Behind the Scenes of Big Budget Entertainment Productions and the Complex Logistics of Moving Massive Movie Sets Across International Borders

Every blockbuster that dazzles audiences on opening weekend carries a secret that rarely makes it into the conversation. The spectacle on screen, the explosions, the sweeping vistas, the towering set pieces, did not arrive by magic. Someone, somewhere, had to figure out how to physically move all of it.

The Invisible Industry Behind the Camera

When a major studio greenlights a production with a $200 million budget, the creative conversation naturally centers on casting, screenplay, and directorial vision. What seldom gets discussed in the same breath is the operational machinery that makes any of it physically possible. Long before a single frame is shot, production managers are wrestling with questions that have nothing to do with storytelling and everything to do with containers, customs paperwork, temperature-controlled storage, and delivery windows measured in hours rather than days.

The global nature of modern filmmaking has made this challenge considerably more complex. In 2024 alone, major studios filmed across more than 40 countries, chasing tax incentives, distinctive landscapes, and the goodwill of local governments offering favorable production deals. Each of those locations introduces a fresh layer of logistical complexity, because the gear that makes a blockbuster look like a blockbuster has to follow the production wherever it goes.

What Actually Needs to Move

The uninitiated might assume that a film crew packs a few cameras, some lights, and calls it a day. The reality is considerably more humbling. A large-scale production might travel with hundreds of tonnes of specialized equipment, including camera systems worth millions of dollars, rigging infrastructure, custom-built vehicles, wardrobe numbering in the thousands of pieces, prosthetics and makeup supplies requiring precise climate control, and practical effects hardware that no local rental house could provide on short notice.

Set construction materials present a particular challenge. When a production builds a large practical set at one location and then needs to replicate or extend it elsewhere, the physical components of that set, steel framing, decorative facades, prop furniture, signage, painted surfaces, often need to follow. Some productions spend more on transporting their sets internationally than smaller independent films spend on their entire budgets.

Crossing Borders with Specialized Equipment

International border crossings represent the most delicate pressure point in any global production. Each country maintains its own regulations around what can be imported, for how long, under what conditions, and at what cost. A production that enters a country with $15 million worth of camera and lighting equipment needs to account for temporary importation rules, carnets (the international customs documents that allow equipment to cross borders duty-free temporarily), and the timelines those documents impose.

Carnets, issued through chambers of commerce in the originating country, are essentially passports for goods. They allow production equipment to enter a country without paying import duties, on the condition that it will leave again within a specified period. Managing these documents across multiple countries and productions running simultaneously requires dedicated personnel whose only job is keeping the paperwork synchronized with where the physical gear actually is.

When carnets are mismanaged, the financial consequences can be severe. A production that fails to export equipment before a carnet expires may face duty charges equivalent to the full value of the goods, a mistake that can easily run into seven figures on a major production. The procedural discipline required is extraordinary, and it is one reason studios increasingly work with specialized logistics partners who understand the specific demands of entertainment-industry moves.

Studios working with reputable freight forwarding services gain access to established customs relationships, experienced documentation teams, and networks of local agents who know country-specific regulations in the granular detail that makes the difference between a smooth crossing and a three-day customs hold.

The Role of Air, Sea, and Ground Freight

Entertainment productions use all three major freight modes, often within the same shoot. The choice between them involves trading speed against cost and fragility against capacity.

Air freight is the default for anything that is irreplaceable, time-sensitive, or prohibitively expensive to reproduce locally. Camera systems, top-tier lenses, and digital intermediate technology frequently move by air. A production that discovers it needs a specific piece of specialty glass mid-shoot cannot wait three weeks for a sea container. The cost of chartering air freight for critical items is almost always cheaper than the daily burn rate of a stalled production.

Sea freight handles the heavy, the bulky, and the less time-sensitive. Set construction materials, vehicles that will appear in the film, and large quantities of wardrobe often travel in 20- or 40-foot shipping containers. Productions on long international shoots can consolidate multiple container loads and plan their arrivals weeks in advance, giving port agents time to manage customs clearance without rushed premium handling.

Ground freight connects the last mile. Even when a container arrives at a port, someone still needs to drive it to a production facility, a warehouse, or directly to the set. In complex shoots that span multiple cities within a single country, ground logistics become the connective tissue that keeps everything moving on the production's schedule rather than a transport company's convenience.

Temperature, Handling, and the Fragility Problem

Not everything that travels with a production is robust. Prosthetics made from silicone degrade in extreme heat. Practical effects supplies may include materials that are chemically sensitive or legally classified as hazardous. Wardrobe from the 18th century, sourced from specialist houses and insured for enormous sums, cannot be treated like a pallet of office supplies.

Large productions maintain detailed packing and handling specifications for every category of equipment and material. Custom crates, climate-controlled containers, and specialized padding systems have evolved significantly over the past decade, partly driven by productions that have learned expensive lessons from damaged gear in transit. The insurance implications alone incentivize careful handling; a damaged lens or destroyed prosthetic head can trigger a claim while simultaneously halting production, creating a compounding financial problem.

Productions also face the challenge of what logisticians call "last known location" visibility. When equipment is moving through multiple freight legs, potentially changing hands between carriers in different countries, knowing where it is in real time becomes operationally critical. The adoption of GPS tracking and digital documentation systems has significantly improved this visibility, but it requires upfront investment in systems that smaller productions may not prioritize until they experience a loss.

Local Crews, Local Rules, and the Human Factor

Beyond the physical movement of goods, productions crossing international borders must also navigate local labor regulations, union agreements, and customs around what work visiting crew members can legally perform. In some countries, international crew are permitted to handle specialized equipment that local crew have not been trained to operate. In others, strict labor rules require that a minimum percentage of any production crew be local hires, which means studios must identify, hire, and brief local logistics personnel who understand the production's standards but may not have worked on a comparable scale before.

This human dimension of international logistics is often underappreciated. A container of equipment that clears customs efficiently still needs people who understand how to receive it, check it against manifests, store it correctly, and deploy it on schedule. Productions that invest in thorough handoff briefings and clear communication protocols tend to suffer fewer delays than those that treat the logistics team as a separate operation disconnected from the production machine.

The Economics of Getting It Wrong

A common misconception is that logistics delays are a nuisance rather than a financial catastrophe. The daily cost of running a major production, encompassing crew wages, location fees, catering, equipment rentals, and director and actor fees, can easily exceed $500,000 per day on a large-scale film. A three-day customs hold triggered by incorrect documentation is not a minor inconvenience; it is a $1.5 million mistake on a production that was already under budget pressure.

This arithmetic explains why studios that once viewed logistics as a commodity function have increasingly elevated it to a strategic priority. Productions now embed logistics coordinators into their pre-production teams from the earliest planning stages, rather than treating transport as an afterthought to be arranged once shooting decisions have already been locked in. The most experienced production managers will tell you that logistics should inform the shoot schedule, not the other way around.

Conclusion: The Craft Behind the Craft

The glamour of big-budget filmmaking is real, and it is genuinely earned by the creative talent whose work lights up screens around the world. But sitting behind every performance, every set, and every visual effect is a parallel workforce of logistics professionals who have solved extraordinarily complex problems quietly, on time, and under budget.

Understanding this invisible layer of production, the paperwork, the containers, the customs agents, the temperature-controlled crates, the carnet deadlines, builds a deeper appreciation for what it actually takes to bring a story from script to screen. The next time you settle into a seat and watch a film set on a different continent from where it was made, consider the extraordinary effort that went into simply getting everything there. That story, in its own way, is just as remarkable as the one unfolding on screen.

The CBOTW Show YouTube will be updated!

Over the next while as I do not know how long it will take me to reupload all the old episodes of The CBOTW Show, add in the Audio ONLY Feeds both feeds. I have to try and go into logical order and hopefully later on today when I get back to the studio after my appointment at my eye doctor, I will make sure to start getting it done once all the editing of the episodes are finished and that will be the second on my list followed by 2 more recordings for the next two weeks.

I cannot tell you the timeline of us uploading all the old episodes and building our channel history but we should have it up soon. I am going to try and post 3 times daily. There will be no general posts to it going up but you can catch up or re-watch and listen to our podcasts in the past. Once that is done and we're able to go longer then we will proceed with the next step of getting episodes up on the channel. I will have a further blog on Saturday with some more information. That is the post for today and as always talk to you all tomorrow!

Moved The CBOTW Show Reality TV Recaps- Survivor 50, EP # 11!

The last catch up episode of Survivor 50, EP # 11 will be posted up at 9 pm EST, 3 hours after and the reason is as I have an appointment at 2 for an hour so I am needing to focus on that first before the company but we will get all reality tv recaps done and finished before tomorrow so we can move on to the next one as I will transition to the normal feed as I need to get The CBOTW Show finished then I move to the other one to get EP 12 of Survivor 50 tomorrow night.

So everything is coming along very nicely, slowly but surely and I hope by the end of the week I am on the right track when it comes to the two shows moving into next week as next week is the finale for Survivor and this podcast will be going off the air for the season and we do not know when it will back up and running and we hope to have more show this summer and I've talked about covering other show this summer not sure what as of yet. But that is the post for today and as always talk to you all tomorrow on schedule.

Why Are Things Going Totally Wrong?

I step down as CEO and things are still the same, problem after problem. Maybe I am the problem as Director of Content, maybe I should just stick to Executive Producer role and not take on certain titles within the company. Anything I do for the company it ends up with negative results and I have been trying to be positive and continue tol get content out but it seems not good enough.

I know I have no power over certain things but what I can do is talk to the team and see what I can do what we can do from here on out and I think that is definitely something that we need to do more as a team. As someone with leadership experience, I can teach them and mentor the team and suggest ideas. One thing I can say, we have both of The CBOTW Show feeds to work with so that is most definitely a good thing and I am going to talk to the team if we should syndicate but right now I cannot do that as at the moment I cannot verify the account as my number has been used too many times but we will recover and build this community again and continue to strive and grow as a company and community. Anyways that is the post for today and as always talk to you all tomorrow!

The CBOTW Show Re-branded... Sort of!

The CBOTW Show has been re-branded... Sort of. Just the image has been updated as seen on the right hand side with all the people involved with that show that project. I absolutely love it and ChatGPT aka AI has done our beloved podcast a lot of justice. Nothing else has change but updating the website as we speak with old logos across the website that has to do with the podcast.

The Old logo as much as it got our views where they are today, we were ready for a total rebrand with our logo and they should be reflected across our website and we are in a new era for The CBOTW Show. I will answer any questions on Saturday on our Facebook Page, TikTok Page & Our Instagram Page  Anyways that is the post for today and enjoy your weekend and I will talk to you on Monday.

After Hours Back on YouTube Soon!

After Hours will be back on YouTube Soon and right now is not the right time till we verify some things within the channel so soon we will be uploading shows and shorts down the road but right now we are working on that side of things right now at the moment we are waiting on Shane's new computer coming in which should be Thursday so during the weekend, him and I probably will connect and get things all hooked up with verification including possible live shows in the nearby future.

So be patient as we catch up on the channel and it could be soon as summer we are more active on there as there is 9 weeks 10 plus weeks of shows to upload, shorts etc. I need to organize things and get everything set and I haven't gotten an update as of the time I am typing this up but hopefully soon I will get an update and we can get YouTube figured out to move forward with shows and even potentially even live shows as well. Anyways I am so sorry for a late post and podcasts going out late but I promise I will make it right with you guys.

Talk tomorrow!

Good Burger Movie Review!

As most of you know I was sick end of the week last week with some kind of bug of some sort but anyways, I got to sit back and watch the movie. It starred Kenan Thompson who is well know for the Mighty Ducks movies, D2: The Mighty Ducks and D3: The Mighty Ducks. Also Sinbad made an appearance here and there he pops up few times during the movie but he was hilarious. It wouldn't be a movie without him. The other movie I saw him in was Jingle All The Way which is a Christmas Movie and that also stars Arnold Schwarzenegger.

I really enjoyed the movie, was really strange at the start but the further I got into it and I really got interest. I would give it a 10 out of 10 and really hope this year at some point they do go through with releasing Good Burger 2 as they have a sequel in the works and the script for it is done now. I highly recommend this movie if you want a laugh, it's a fun family comedy movie that is for everyone! Anyways that is the post for today, I will speak to you all tomorrow for another blog post.

Mamma Mia The Movie Review

Mamma Mia the Movie has been out for quite some time now and I never really did a movie review of this movie. It is exactly like the musical on stage but it really gives you more a consensus what Greece is like as on stage they try to make it as similar to the location it is taking place. Love the scenery in the movie, it is absolutely beautiful there! Definitely a country I'd love to go and visit one day. Anyways one of my favorite movies and highly recommend the movie if you are an ABBA fan. It really gets you up on your feet wanting to dance. Amanda Seyfried, Pierce Brosman and Meryl Streep was amazing. Never thought Pierce Brosman could sing but he could!

I give this movie, 10 out of 10, great movie, great music. So entertaining and I enjoyed this movie and I can watch this movie over and over again honestly. It is hard to tell you guys a lot without spoiling for those who haven't seen the movie yet it is between around for quite sometime now but again, I do not wanna spoil it for you guys regardless it's a mini review, I am not going into full details but talked a bit about some of the actors in general. If you haven't seen it, I highly recommend it but I am sure you guys already have by now. That is my post for today and I will talk to you all tomorrow!

Liar, Liar Movie Review

I know I have spoken about this podcast before in the past but at a very short length. I wanna do a full comedy movie review today on the movie. It's a very funny movie and one of the top 10 of the Jim Carrey movies I have seen before. I will do a seperate list and why next week as I have that already listed on my whiteboard to write next week as I have enough to write this week alone. This movie is hilarious, one of my favorite movies to be quite honest. I love the moment he was being sarcastic with Dana in the courtroom also the pen is blue moment was also a great moment as well. I like when Gretchen says here's your raise and flips the bird at Jim Carrey that was pretty priceless moment in the movie. Also there is another moment that tops it all off when he says to the guy that knocked over the ATM to stop breaking the law and calling him an a hole, I remember my comment which was that is advice any lawyer should give to their client in a joking way tho.

One thing is his excessive cursing of the s word cause he got pulled over by a cop which he was speeding and failing to stop at a cross walk, changing lanes without signalling and the list goes on. It was a great movie and I haven't seen in a long time but it is 10 out of 10 for the movie. Jim Carrey is a brillant actor and still one of my faves on top of Steve Martin, Chevy Chase, Leslie Nielson. I highly recommend this movie if you enjoy comedy movies and you want a laugh especially if you guys are feeling down or having a rough day. Anyways that is my post for today, hope you enjoyed it and I will talk to you all tomorrow!

Happy Gilmore Movie Review

Since this movie actually makes the top of my list it is time for a movie review here on the blog today. This is indeed still the top of my list favorite movies of all times and always will be at the top of my list and to be honest, I do not think it'll change anytime soon. The movie stars, Adam Sandler, Christopher McDonald and pile of other amazing actors including the long time former host of The Price is Right, Bob Barker who is pretty much an idol to me as I have been watching him since I was younger thanks to my grandpa who introduced me to the show back growing up. I do not need to go into much detail but pretty much the movie is about Happy Gilmore who wanted to play hockey turned into a pro golfer. Now mind you there is a ton of cursing in it and you can imagine how many bleeps there would be if they'd had to bleep it out... LOL!

Anyways, getting way off topic to be honest, the movie has its moments of Happy Gilmore cursing and even at the golf ball. To him fighting Bob Barker and the The Price is Wrong Bob (which has an explicit) I added Bob to keep this blog appropriate. Also to this day it is still an iconic scene from the movie and remains that for a 90's movie. Another point I would like to make is the scene with him and that stinkin clown scene where he wacks the clowns nose off at the end was another great scene. However the scene that beats em all is when he beats Shooter McGavin and the look on his face was absolutely priceless! Anyways this movie gets 20 out of 20 as it is such an amazing movie and if you haven't seen it, I'd recommend you guys to see it. I could watch it over and over again. That is my post for today, hope you guys enjoyed it and I will talk to you guys tomorrow.

Matilda Movie Review (1996)

I know this movie is very old 25 years old now but I grew up with this movie as I was slowly at the end of my Elementary School by 5 years and I watched the movie again and wanted to give a full review on this movie as it is a light hearted and fun movie honestly. I like how Miss. Trunchbull is so sarcastic at time and the actress did really well on that role, she was fit for that role. I learned some thing with Amanda Thripp being thrown she had a line on and the pig tails were glued on which I loved the story of the behind the scenes as I found some of them on YouTube without realizing that they probably are on the DVD version of the movie to be honest! However I love this movie and Danny Devito always up to his best performance and the glued hat on his hat prank was just epic, I enjoyed every moment of that or the lotion he put on his head which Matilda (Mara Wilson) put Peroxide if I remember exactly and his hair turned blonde, haha!

So this movie gets 10/10 as I really enjoyed it and it may be old but still a classic movie and if you guys enjoyed this little blog review, I plan on doing more. One last thing I would like say I also saw the reunion I believe it was a 20 year anniversary and to see them do some of their lines was really cool. I didn't realize Mara is my age as I share the same birth year as her as it is cool. Either way I can watch this movie 100 times as it never gets old but at the most I watch it once a year at the most. That is my post and I will talk to you guys tomorrow.

The Shining Movie Review

I can say this, I've been wanting to do the review on this season for quite sometime now since the start of the year but kept putting it off week after week but now here it is the review for this movie. The Shining, I heard so much and looking at clips from the movie Psycho and I stumbled on the scene where Jack Nicolson says: "Heeeere's Johnny!" which if you didn't know that was ab-lib and wasn't suppose to actually be a part of this. I honestly felt confused at the start of the movie but as it went on it all made sense, as the movie progressed, it became all clear that Jack Nicolson's character, Jack Torrance. Ironic they kept his first name technically. Anyways as the movie went on, I noticed he got a little more crazier up to the part I mentioned earlier the "Heeere's Johnny!" scene which now to this very day is an iconic scene from the movie.

I can imagine how heavy the axe was carrying it upstairs. What I remember he was a writer and was writing a book during the movie. Jack Nicolson is an amazing actor and he fit the role very well in this movie. Was the first movie I saw with him in it. Anyways I loved the movie and it was an really good movie and I'd watch it again in the very nearby future. This movie gets an easy 10 out of 10. This movie easily goes on my top 10 Horror Movies of the 1980's along with Friday The 13th. I highly recommend this movie for you guys to see if you are an horror movie fan and haven't seen this movie yet. Of course you guys more then likely have but just saying if you haven't then watch it, lol. Anyways I am rambling. Next on my list is watching and finishing Friday The 13th which I'd like to review the movie on my list and probably do 3 movies in one post at a time and hopefully I can get it finished. Next week, I will be also reviewing Super Girl Seasons 4 & 5 at some point as well and I will be talking to you guys on tomorrow's post.

Batman (1989) & Batman Forever (1995) Movie Review

I been wanting to do this for a while now and a few weeks ago, I got to sit down and watch Batman and I believe that was during my down time with Christmas so that could of been when I watched the movie during the time off from CBOTW. So Michael Keaton was in this movie as Batman which mind you Michael Keaton is an great actor and not really sure if he is still acting to this day, Billy Dee Williams which we all know him from Star Wars 5 and 6 and 9 who played Lando Calrissen and he plays Two Face aka Harvey Dent in the movie which he was a great Two Face, I didn't know it was him till I looked it up after the movie. Also Kim Bassigner and Jack Nicolson who played the Joker. Now his role as the Joker, he did an amazing job as always as I have seen 3 movies with him in it which the other two is Anger Management & The Shining which I will do an review eventually here on the blog. I loved the movie and seen 3 out of the real life Batman movies. The Action of the movie was amazing. The Bat-Mobile is more high tech as you get through the movies. The movie was well put together and kept you entertain right through. I was only 3 going on 4 in 1989 technically. I admit the Bat Cave was a lot different different from the 1966 TV Batman. I would give a 10 out of 10 out of this movie and would watch it again!

You thought that was the end of this post, huh? Well surprise! Two reviews within one post for once. So the second review as the title says I am doing a second Batman, this time I want to review is Batman Forever, which I went to see with my aunts in 1995 as I spent a day with them every week while my parents were at work during my summer off from school and we happened to go see this amazing movie. This movie has another amazing actor as Batman, George Clooney and of course the famous comedian, Jim Carrey which I am a huuuge Jim Carrey Fan and I've seen almost every movie he's done. This movie had it's serious moments and action pack with the addition of Chris O'Donnell as Robin The Boy of Wonder. However, you have in the addition to this movie some funny moments as Jim Carrey brings ins the comedic side of thing. Especially the "Riddle Me This. Riddle Me That, Who's Afraid of The Big Black Bat?" Once again I would give this movie a 10 out of 10 and I really enjoyed these movies together and watched them back to back. Hope you guys enjoyed this review and I will talk to you guys tomorrow.

Do I Prefer Another Version of A Song or Original?

This is the easiest question for me to answer as yes I am a music fan and enjoy it on my spare time when not recording my own personal podcast or Power Rangers Collaboration Podcast. I know there is different versions of the song for example Knockin on Heaven's Door which was done by Bob Dylan which I actually have in my collection of music that I have accumulated over the years. Another one I can give as an example is Na na na na hey hey hey kiss him goodbye there is numerous versions of that song. That is not the point that I wanted to make the point I wanted to make some of the other versions are good, sometimes even better but you cannot go wrong with the original version, it is where it began and yes I do prefer the original but always listening to other versions and I like quite a lot of them actually and they are good.

Either way music keeps me distracted during all this pandemic and keeps me busy but for the answer to the question I am more into the original but again the other versions I do not mind to be honest but maybe it depends on my mood from day to day but I have no idea what in the world I am saying honestly as I am just rambling on right now but music seems to keep my mood good at times and I it is hard to come up with the right words to get my normal everyday length of a post but today is truly hard. So in conclusion of this post I could go either way with the songs and again maybe it depends on my mood from a day to day basis. Sorry this post is late but better late then never really.

Favorite Episodes of Home Improvement

Today's blog post is about my favorite Home Improvement episodes which is IRONIC, because I am currently watching the series between that and Big Brother Canada which I flip flop between the two shows in the day, depends the mood I am in. Anyways here is my list and there is no particular order:

1) Tim Gluing His Head To The Table: That was hilarious and typical Tim to glue his head and they had to saw around to actually to get him off. The jokes that were made while he had  asmall piece of the table stuck to his head.

2) Tool Time Mans Kitchen: Part of that show within a show's 5th Anniversary they built the man's kitchen and Al's remark "Maybe We Should Get Jumper Cables and Hook It To Another Kitchen" comment.

3)  Al Hosts Cooking With Irma: Al took over Cooking With Irma for a week and has Tim as his assistant and making stupid middle names for him. Kind of a role reversal from Tool Time. Al actually screwed up at towards the end of the episode in a typical Tim fashion. I love how Al said Tim "Doesn't know Gumble from Gumbo Taylor" when he introduced Tim.

4) One of The Halloween Episodes: The one Halloween episodes where the 3 boys are dressed up as Moe there was no Curly or Larry, they all were Moe apparently and it was very hilarious to see actually.

5) Grease Lighting Inspired Episode: The episode that Tim shows off his newly built custom car in an Tool Time episode where he showed off the completed car. One of my other favorite episodes of all time but I love every episode they came out with.

There is my list and again I have said this in the past I cannot mention all the episodes I enjoy as this post would be endless and honestly this post has been long enough for you guys as it is. Anyways I hope you guys enjoyed today's post and I will catch you in tomorrow's blog post.

Feel Like Some TV Shows Are Meant To Be Left As It Is....

Eric and I got into quite a debate yesterday about reboots and I want to talk about this honestly. I enjoy some of the reboots but some I just said nah, definitely not. I want to highlight some of them here on the blog that actually have worked and some that I have watched so here it is:

Watching:

1) Fuller House: It was like a continuation the Tanner Family saga. This time instead of 3 girls Danny Tanner had, DJ has 3 boys. Also it was neat to see DJ, Stephanie and Kimmy 29 years later the show alone has been nostalgic from back the 90's especially.

2) Last Man Standing:  Another show I picked up with no problem and it was easy to get into and of course I found the show funny and I understood the storyline each week and cannot wait it returns for a 11th season.

Not Watching Or Shouldn't Be On The Air:

1) The Connors: After the whole thing with Roseanne the show should of just stopped. No spin-off nothing. I just think it was or better off to leave it alone after a while. Watched a bit and it just didn't feel the same honestly.

2) Murphy Brown: A show that did well back in it's day but it didn't last as long with a reboot and this is part of it that they should of just left it alone. Like I said some work some do and this isn't part of it.

Now those are some that I feel that work and don't work and honestly I hear rumors that they are planning on bringing back Frazier which was another popular 90's TV Show which it was said that they are honoring the actor who played his Father recently passed away. Now there is nothing wrong with that just my worry they bring it back but how long will it last? Some people do not like the idea of a reboot. They rather just leave the show alone honestly. What about some of the actors that has passed on, how can they work around that. However it wouldn't be the same with those actors that are no longer with us and passed away. However this is only my opinion and let me know what you think about TV Show Reboots in the comments below, are they great or not great and why.

My Favorite Monk Episodes!

Today's post I would like to talk about some of my favorite Monk episodes. Now a small back story to how I get into the show. Now I got into the TV Show because of Eric, he introduced me into the show and I was wondering what the heck I was technically watching but as I kept on getting further and further into the show, I got right into the show and I have seen all seasons on Monk from start to finish. Anyways here are some of my favorite episodes that I enjoy:

1) Mr Monk On The Air- Mr. Monk goes on radio during his investigation and of course he got embarrassed when with a remix of him saying "Wipe, Wipe, Wipe" Which I found pretty hysterical to be honestly.

2) Mr. Monk Stays In Bed- Poor Monk sick in bed with what I think is the flu bug. Anyways Julie, Natalie's daughter gave him a get well card that had a musical interlude to it and drove Mr. Monk insane to a point he tried to hide it and eventually threw it out. At the end the card came back to save the day and probably haunt Mr. Monk.

3) Mr. Monk A Contestant On Game Show- I know what you're going to say, I do not remember the name of any of these damn names of the actual episodes but he was trying to figure out how the one contestant is cheating and of course he went in there and he kept on cleaning off the smudge off the button and of course the button kept going off which was funny and personally one of my favorite episodes to date.

There is a few episodes and like always with these kind of posts, I do not want to over do the posts and I try and not do that with these posts but those are at least my top 3 favorite let's just say and it is nice but I really hoped to add in more but that's OK, I am happy with the final product and I really hope you guys have enjoyed today's post as always I enjoyed writing this post for you guys.

I Want To See The New Terminator Movie!

I want to see the new Terminator Movie when it comes out in on the 23rd of this month. Now I have seen up to 3 of the movies, I haven't seen 4 or 5 so I will have to get caught up in order so I can see it. Now I heard the last movie with Sarah Connor was in the last movie but Arnold wasn't technically. I heard it wasn't overly a good movie but either way I am going to watch it and see for myself. So in order to see this new movie I will definitely have to get caught up to speed in the movies before I see it so there is going to have a few movie nights and later on I think that is exactly what I am going to do is start watching these movies slowly but surely. I for one am an action pact movies and I am excited to see Arnold back in action. Last thing I really saw him on was Celebrity Apprentice before he resigned and the show no longer is on the air. I am a big Arnold Schwarzenegger fan and seen other movies with him in besides this series that has become so popular over the years it has been around since the very first movie. I am sure this could be the last of the series of these movies but you never really know if they will do another movie as Arnold is on in years now but hey he still got it.

Either way I am excited to see this and I am going to talk to Eric about going to see it and maybe a week Monday or 2 weeks Monday I will be able to see it with my friend Eric as we would like to go see a movie and I have been wanting to see a movie for a while now.  Soon as I heard about it I said it is a most definite movie I wanna see and of course I would do a non spoiler movie review for you guys and I will let you guys know. I have to some how squeeze that into the tight schedule that I am on right now. Now what do I expect from this movie? I expect obviously lots of action pack during the movie but we will have to wait and see what this movie is going to be like in the way of what the story line will be either way I am excited. I really hope I am going to see it with my friend as that is what he wants me to go to the movies with him and this is definitely on the list and we will see if I go to the movies but will ask him at the end of this week and if you see a review then it's definitely a go with the movie review as I do enjoy the reviews honestly and giving them to you guys as well. It has been years since the 3rd movie since I have watched movie so like I said I will have to play catch up and that is what I am planning on do this week especially.
