Good Burger Movie Review!

As most of you know I was sick end of the week last week with some kind of bug of some sort but anyways, I got to sit back and watch the movie. It starred Kenan Thompson who is well know for the Mighty Ducks movies, D2: The Mighty Ducks and D3: The Mighty Ducks. Also Sinbad made an appearance here and there he pops up few times during the movie but he was hilarious. It wouldn't be a movie without him. The other movie I saw him in was Jingle All The Way which is a Christmas Movie and that also stars Arnold Schwarzenegger.

I really enjoyed the movie, was really strange at the start but the further I got into it and I really got interest. I would give it a 10 out of 10 and really hope this year at some point they do go through with releasing Good Burger 2 as they have a sequel in the works and the script for it is done now. I highly recommend this movie if you want a laugh, it's a fun family comedy movie that is for everyone! Anyways that is the post for today, I will speak to you all tomorrow for another blog post.

Liar, Liar Movie Review

I know I have spoken about this podcast before in the past but at a very short length. I wanna do a full comedy movie review today on the movie. It's a very funny movie and one of the top 10 of the Jim Carrey movies I have seen before. I will do a seperate list and why next week as I have that already listed on my whiteboard to write next week as I have enough to write this week alone. This movie is hilarious, one of my favorite movies to be quite honest. I love the moment he was being sarcastic with Dana in the courtroom also the pen is blue moment was also a great moment as well. I like when Gretchen says here's your raise and flips the bird at Jim Carrey that was pretty priceless moment in the movie. Also there is another moment that tops it all off when he says to the guy that knocked over the ATM to stop breaking the law and calling him an a hole, I remember my comment which was that is advice any lawyer should give to their client in a joking way tho.

One thing is his excessive cursing of the s word cause he got pulled over by a cop which he was speeding and failing to stop at a cross walk, changing lanes without signalling and the list goes on. It was a great movie and I haven't seen in a long time but it is 10 out of 10 for the movie. Jim Carrey is a brillant actor and still one of my faves on top of Steve Martin, Chevy Chase, Leslie Nielson. I highly recommend this movie if you enjoy comedy movies and you want a laugh especially if you guys are feeling down or having a rough day. Anyways that is my post for today, hope you enjoyed it and I will talk to you all tomorrow!

The Man Movie Review

This has been a movie, I've wanted to review for a very long time now. The Man has Samuel L. Jackson and Eugene Levy in the movie which is between a comedy and action and it is hard to really categorize it myself and I would have to look it up but majority of the movie is comedy. I can say both Samuel L. Jackson and Eugene are quite a pair in this. Reason I say that is the scene where Eugene Levy says you shot me and Samuel says I grazed you was pretty hilarious but the most hilarious is when he questions Vann which is the role that Samuel L. Jackson plays why he swears so much and that he say say f you, f this then he mentions to add for crying then you will be able to say oh for crying out loud! You can imagine how times I replayed that scene over and over again. Pretty epic moment in the movie to be honest.

I didn't realize this the movie was filmed in Toronto as the streetcar tracks are visible on the camera. So very cool and the one angle you can see part of the skyline but no CN Tower or now called the Rogers Centre. Either way, it is an amazing movie and I enjoy the movie and I watched it recently for a laugh and that was the main purpose behind it as I was feeling down on myself and needed a laugh. So if you like comedies I do highly recommend this movie. Such a great movie and was hilarious at times. Oh one other thing I would like to add in how many times Eugene Levy said "I DID NOTHING WRONG!" I just love the way they had smart alec comments made from him. I give it a 10 out of 10 all day long. That is my post for today, it is not a long one like the last few days but I will talk to you all tomorrow.

Halloween 1 and 2 Movie Review!

Today's blog is about the first 2 movies of Halloween and it is a movie review. Mind you I have only done 2 movies so far and I am sure I will be doing 3 and 4 next week. But here are the reviews for both the movies:

Halloween: The original movie that got this franchise going. I loved this movie, the music is freaky and when you heard the music you know something is going to happen. I like the backstory with Michael how it began how he became the main antagonist in the movies. It is always nice to know how it happened with the original backstory to the character. Also Jamie Lee Curtis was phenomenal in the movie and I really enjoyed this movie. These are the perfect Halloween movie for this time of the year. I know when I watched I always wonder what was going to happen in a future movie with characters being killed in the movie so it really made me wonder. Also I wanna add to this review, that no matter what they did Michael still kept on going took a few times before he collapsed. This movie gets a 10 out of 10 from me if I am to rate this movie out of 10.

Halloween II: This movie is a continuation what happened from the end of the movie where Laurie (Jamie Lee Curtis) was in the hospital and what happened to Michael which is a cool way to do the movie so you won't be questioning what happened at the end of the last movie throughout the entire movie. That's the correct way to do it and it answers a ton of questions. Also what I liked was how they continued on when the Dr. was shooting at him so it wraps up anything that happened from the first movie. I know this movie takes place in the hospital scenario. I was questioning why when Michael was on fire he was still alive till he moved a few extra feet. I loved this movie, love how they did the scene with Michael on fire. There wasn't a thing called Green Screen like there is now for 1980s. I know it wasn't as well know but I'm not sure when that became part of what is used to this day but this movie definitely gets a 10 out of 10 from me.

Those are my reviews and be sure to stay tuned as I am planning to do another review next week on Halloween III and Halloween IV. I know I have 12 movies to catch up on and please be patient with me as I watch 2 or 3 a week. Thanks to Jimi for the idea to do a review of these movies, plan on doing more of these in the nearby future. Till tomorrow's post, have a great rest of your Wednesday!

Billy Madison Movie Review

This is one of my favorite movies to be honest. One of the reasons is because it was filmed here in my hometown here and it is the home of the owner of General Motors McLaughlin. Anyways another post for another day to talk about it but the movie is one of my favorite movies out of the Adam Sandler movies and there is a pile of them on my list with  Happy Gilmore being up there too. Adam Sandler is a great actor, hilarious and in the movie he played a role of a son to his father who runs a hotel and has to pass every grade in 2 weeks and he will get the company. Which another guy, Eric tries to ruin it as he hits high school. Now one more thing about the house they filmed in, it's right across from the High School I attended from 2001 - 2006. Which yes I have been inside the house for a tour before and is well known.

I have some good memories in the movie one of them is that crazy penguin scene at the very start of the movie. Also when he said T-t-t-today Junior! Another amazing moment in the movie. One other moment is when he was writing a word with the letter "Z" and spelled rurruto or something like that. I know when I saw the fountains I said instantly, yup that's the estate I was thinking of and its so easy to notice it too, the front façade of the house or as I said the actual fountains on there. Either way I would give this movie a 10 out of 10, forget that 20 out of 10 as it is too funny of a movie and I really enjoyed the movie and if you haven't seen it yet, I highly recommend it as its an awesome hilarious movie. Anyways I will talk to you all on tomorrow's blog post.

Matilda Movie Review (1996)

I know this movie is very old 25 years old now but I grew up with this movie as I was slowly at the end of my Elementary School by 5 years and I watched the movie again and wanted to give a full review on this movie as it is a light hearted and fun movie honestly. I like how Miss. Trunchbull is so sarcastic at time and the actress did really well on that role, she was fit for that role. I learned some thing with Amanda Thripp being thrown she had a line on and the pig tails were glued on which I loved the story of the behind the scenes as I found some of them on YouTube without realizing that they probably are on the DVD version of the movie to be honest! However I love this movie and Danny Devito always up to his best performance and the glued hat on his hat prank was just epic, I enjoyed every moment of that or the lotion he put on his head which Matilda (Mara Wilson) put Peroxide if I remember exactly and his hair turned blonde, haha!

So this movie gets 10/10 as I really enjoyed it and it may be old but still a classic movie and if you guys enjoyed this little blog review, I plan on doing more. One last thing I would like say I also saw the reunion I believe it was a 20 year anniversary and to see them do some of their lines was really cool. I didn't realize Mara is my age as I share the same birth year as her as it is cool. Either way I can watch this movie 100 times as it never gets old but at the most I watch it once a year at the most. That is my post and I will talk to you guys tomorrow.

The Shining Movie Review

I can say this, I've been wanting to do the review on this season for quite sometime now since the start of the year but kept putting it off week after week but now here it is the review for this movie. The Shining, I heard so much and looking at clips from the movie Psycho and I stumbled on the scene where Jack Nicolson says: "Heeeere's Johnny!" which if you didn't know that was ab-lib and wasn't suppose to actually be a part of this. I honestly felt confused at the start of the movie but as it went on it all made sense, as the movie progressed, it became all clear that Jack Nicolson's character, Jack Torrance. Ironic they kept his first name technically. Anyways as the movie went on, I noticed he got a little more crazier up to the part I mentioned earlier the "Heeere's Johnny!" scene which now to this very day is an iconic scene from the movie.

I can imagine how heavy the axe was carrying it upstairs. What I remember he was a writer and was writing a book during the movie. Jack Nicolson is an amazing actor and he fit the role very well in this movie. Was the first movie I saw with him in it. Anyways I loved the movie and it was an really good movie and I'd watch it again in the very nearby future. This movie gets an easy 10 out of 10. This movie easily goes on my top 10 Horror Movies of the 1980's along with Friday The 13th. I highly recommend this movie for you guys to see if you are an horror movie fan and haven't seen this movie yet. Of course you guys more then likely have but just saying if you haven't then watch it, lol. Anyways I am rambling. Next on my list is watching and finishing Friday The 13th which I'd like to review the movie on my list and probably do 3 movies in one post at a time and hopefully I can get it finished. Next week, I will be also reviewing Super Girl Seasons 4 & 5 at some point as well and I will be talking to you guys on tomorrow's post.

Batman (1989) & Batman Forever (1995) Movie Review

I been wanting to do this for a while now and a few weeks ago, I got to sit down and watch Batman and I believe that was during my down time with Christmas so that could of been when I watched the movie during the time off from CBOTW. So Michael Keaton was in this movie as Batman which mind you Michael Keaton is an great actor and not really sure if he is still acting to this day, Billy Dee Williams which we all know him from Star Wars 5 and 6 and 9 who played Lando Calrissen and he plays Two Face aka Harvey Dent in the movie which he was a great Two Face, I didn't know it was him till I looked it up after the movie. Also Kim Bassigner and Jack Nicolson who played the Joker. Now his role as the Joker, he did an amazing job as always as I have seen 3 movies with him in it which the other two is Anger Management & The Shining which I will do an review eventually here on the blog. I loved the movie and seen 3 out of the real life Batman movies. The Action of the movie was amazing. The Bat-Mobile is more high tech as you get through the movies. The movie was well put together and kept you entertain right through. I was only 3 going on 4 in 1989 technically. I admit the Bat Cave was a lot different different from the 1966 TV Batman. I would give a 10 out of 10 out of this movie and would watch it again!

You thought that was the end of this post, huh? Well surprise! Two reviews within one post for once. So the second review as the title says I am doing a second Batman, this time I want to review is Batman Forever, which I went to see with my aunts in 1995 as I spent a day with them every week while my parents were at work during my summer off from school and we happened to go see this amazing movie. This movie has another amazing actor as Batman, George Clooney and of course the famous comedian, Jim Carrey which I am a huuuge Jim Carrey Fan and I've seen almost every movie he's done. This movie had it's serious moments and action pack with the addition of Chris O'Donnell as Robin The Boy of Wonder. However, you have in the addition to this movie some funny moments as Jim Carrey brings ins the comedic side of thing. Especially the "Riddle Me This. Riddle Me That, Who's Afraid of The Big Black Bat?" Once again I would give this movie a 10 out of 10 and I really enjoyed these movies together and watched them back to back. Hope you guys enjoyed this review and I will talk to you guys tomorrow.
