New LED lighting for our Studio Review

So I have had a couple of days to use the new LED lights in the studio and I love em even though they are so bright but they have made life with streaming so much better especially with the green screen behind me that you see in the normal videos. This was something that was needed in the studio to complete the green screen effect on streams and podcasts.

So the grade I would give it would be A+ as it is a great product and really lights up the space and gives you that green screen effect. Amazon is a great place to grab things you need and easy to be delivered to your door especially like the weather we have been having here in Ontario, better then going out and about to get it. Don't get me wrong my ring lights are good but this is the future of this studio space. Anyways that is the post for today and as always talk tomorrow!

Talks.co Review

I would like to talk about Talks.co and it is like Matchmaker FM which ChrisBOnTheWeb Media's own "Entertainment Man Podcast" has been utilizing the tool since 2022 just over 2 years now. It has been excellent! I was reached out by Sarah from Talks.co and big shoutout to her for reaching out to us about this platform called Talks.co. Also big thank you to them for featuring "Entertainment Man Podcast: on there! Much appreciated! It is exactly the same to the other site we use which I did mention. However looks a bit better then the other but the only things I would add to their site and here is what I would add:

1) Knowing that someone has viewed your profile whether it is your profile, profile or your show profile so you know people have seen your profile and potentially being able knowing people are viewing and are interested

2) Inbox isn't available via mobile I looked and looked and it wasn't anywhere.

3) A mobile app. The other website we use for the show doesn't have one.

That is about it, only 3 little things I'd like to see changed but still give the platform a 10 out of 10 and if I see a lot of requests for interviews I might switch to those but I plan on using both to help get more interviews out there. However that is the post for today and I will talk to you all tomorrow!

The Keg-- Prime Rib Review

My family and I have been celebrating my parents 50th Wedding Anniversary and wish I took a picture at the first dinner a week ago but never thought about it. But a week ago today, I went to The Keg and this was my second visit to the Keg actually which was an awesome experience. I had the Prime Rib medium rare with some of these crunchy things which was good along with Garlic Mash Potatoes which was almost good. I really enjoyed their mash potatoes there and should do that here at home at some point as well.

It even came with Horse Radish which was hot and I burned my mouth with it actually and I tried it on several bites but then just gave up on it cause it was too hot for my liking and I was always making a funny face every time I dipped my Prime Rib in it, lol! The meat when you cut through it cut like butter and really easy to cut and chew. Anyways my parents got a good chunk of cake and we all got to take a few bites and it had a chocolate cookie crumble at the bottom of it with like a Mocha cake which is like Coffee but it was really good. I give the service 10 out of 10 all day long as the server was really good with us and 10 out of 10 for the meal as it exceeded my expectations once again. Will be back in the future for sure. That is my post for today, I will talk to you all tomorrow for another post and another food review is coming Thursday as I'm catching up on reviews on my list.

Five Guys Burgers Food Review!

So yesterday I got to go to Five Guys Burgers with my friend Eric who is also Alum from The Video Projects Team era from 2005 till 2010. I ordered a Bacon Burger, with pickles, onions, ketchup, mustard and relish on it. My usual condiments and items I want to have on a burger technically. Now what I thought it was a single patty but it was a double patty and I never asked for it whatsoever but I am not going to complain. It is pretty expensive place to eat if I remember it was around 16 dollars and a chunk of change but it was worth that money actually. Was worth getting actually.

Now the burger and a large drink was all I got, I do not even think I could down fries with the size of this massive burger. The other best thing of this was with the drinks you can get refills actually and I considered getting a refill for the road home back into town to meet our friend Terry but I felt like I was floating enough from the large drink I had but anyways, I give this burger a definite 10 all day and next time I plan on adding in the fries I go there. That is the post for today, I hope you enjoyed this and as always I will talk to you all tomorrow!

Wendy's Baconator Food Review

A week ago I was with Eric and both of us decided to go to Wendy's for lunch as 2 years ago was when things started to lock down on us and we decided to go back 2 years later. So I ordered the Baconator Combo which came with fries and a drink. Fries were great as always, and Wedny's always has good fries, not too salty. The burger was awesome, two burger pattis with Cheese, ketchup and a white sauce I have no clue what it was to be quite honest. However it was an awesome burger and cannot go wrong with Wendy's burgers and I think it is on the top 3 list of mine along with Mr. Burger still the # 1 burger place then Wendy's and Harvey's.

Was a really juicy and messy burger and messier it is the better it is honestly. I am giving Wendy's a 10 out of 10 for the burger and fries which was amazing and I enjoyed it and honestly it didn't last that long as I was starving I had a smoothie in the morning then Wendy's at around noon hour. Anyways I plan on doing other reviews like this in the very nearby future especially at Wendy's I will be sure to try something different next time around but I can say this that food reviews are back so stay tune for more and I will talk to you all tomorrow!

Matilda Movie Review (1996)

I know this movie is very old 25 years old now but I grew up with this movie as I was slowly at the end of my Elementary School by 5 years and I watched the movie again and wanted to give a full review on this movie as it is a light hearted and fun movie honestly. I like how Miss. Trunchbull is so sarcastic at time and the actress did really well on that role, she was fit for that role. I learned some thing with Amanda Thripp being thrown she had a line on and the pig tails were glued on which I loved the story of the behind the scenes as I found some of them on YouTube without realizing that they probably are on the DVD version of the movie to be honest! However I love this movie and Danny Devito always up to his best performance and the glued hat on his hat prank was just epic, I enjoyed every moment of that or the lotion he put on his head which Matilda (Mara Wilson) put Peroxide if I remember exactly and his hair turned blonde, haha!

So this movie gets 10/10 as I really enjoyed it and it may be old but still a classic movie and if you guys enjoyed this little blog review, I plan on doing more. One last thing I would like say I also saw the reunion I believe it was a 20 year anniversary and to see them do some of their lines was really cool. I didn't realize Mara is my age as I share the same birth year as her as it is cool. Either way I can watch this movie 100 times as it never gets old but at the most I watch it once a year at the most. That is my post and I will talk to you guys tomorrow.

Super Girl, Season 2 Review

So I have been holding this off almost an entire week but here is my thoughts on Season 2 of Supergirl. I have my thoughts on this season of Super Girl and I kind of started to sense Cat the Media Mogul of CatCo was on her way out and James was going to take over.  It was honestly another good season and I didn't know the actor who played Mon-El is married to Melissa Benoist who plays Kara Danvers aka Super Girl. That I found out by researching it online. Anyways the one enemy, Live Wire was one weird character but seems to be a memorable one that's for sure. I love the fact they still did the intro up to the 3rd Season of the show which I will get to in another post which is for another day. The show still shows the same action pack as always and always exciting to watch and the more I watch, the more I am hooked even more. Now the end of the season was exciting not just cause Superman shows up at the end (Sorry spoilers to those who never seen the show.) Winn finally joining the DEO was really neat to see as he is after all a computer nerd in the show and knows a lot of things. Live Wire, her character is quite an interesting character that's for sure.

Anyways I will give this season a 10 out of 10 once again and excited to do the 3rd review this weekend maybe Friday but again it will depend when I finish season 3 of Supergirl this week and see how things go but the 3rd season will be the most important thing to do right now before I start working on Power Rangers Time Force, but you guys know I will probably watch Season 4 but my mom told me it gets really weird but either way I still enjoy this and going to give it a shot one way or another. I don't mind the weirdness of some of the episodes but I am more for the action which is one of the reasons I do enjoy the show. However I will eventually catch up and get up to speed on things. Anyways I hope you enjoyed some of the highlights and my thoughts on the season and look forward to reviewing season 3 sometime this week or during the weekend.

What Do I Think of Super Girl, Season 1?

For those who didn't know I have been watching Super Girl thanks to my mom and Eric got me into those. However, I got right into them from the get go and happy to say I really have enjoyed this first season. Right now I am into the second season of the series and cannot wait to do another post for it. Now I had mixed feelings about the character Cat Grant of Catco but she grew on me pretty fast during the series. However that is short lived with the second season but that is another post for another time. Anyways, I was pretty excited to see Superman at the start but he wasn't remotely involved till the 2nd season but I will get to that another time. This show really reminds me of characters of the TV Series Superman which we know they are planning to do a Superman and Lois Lane series down the road.  The music or sorry, the theme song to Super Girl has a catchy tune to it. Now back to the series, its is very, very exciting as a series, so much action and sometimes confusing what is going on but either way I do understand after the fact.

One thing that bothers me is the fact they go to be continued, however I have to realize that I borrowed the first 3 seasons of the show from Eric and I have the ability to actually watch them back to to back without stopping. Now season 4 is not out on DVD yet but I will get to watch it soon enough I am sure. Again we are getting way off topic honestly. Season 1 was really, really good and I enjoyed the first season. Now I get to work on Season 2 which I should be done this week and I will have another season review ready for you guys to read. I will give this season a 10 out of 10 as I really enjoyed the action from start to finish and honestly it makes want to watch more. I hope you enjoyed this little review, I know I was all over the place but hey it's really my first TV Review on here and I know there will be more down the road.

Subway Food Review [01-20-2020]

The last 2 weeks I have been out eating once a week which is fine but gained weight so yesterday's post sure as heck went to waste but hey makes me wanna work even harder. Anyways last week I was up in the north end and Eric and I had Subway and trust me it wasn't the best experience and this is my food review for North end of Whitby for Subway at Garden and Rossland. Anyways the Pepsi was watered down a bit and didn't taste overly great and the sandwich had way too much Honey Mustard on it. So for the food and drink I will be giving it a definitely 1 as I wasn't too pleased with it whatsoever and I should of said something about the drink being watered down that was my own fault and I could of mentioned but they should be checking it but that is besides the point honestly. However this is the first bad review since last summer honestly so I have good rep or and have been on a good role with a positive reviews since. Last year wasn't a good year but hoping this year will be a good.

However in the end the service was a 5 all day as they were nice and very helpful to the both of us so it wasn't a complete failure honestly but it is what it is and I am unsure that I am going to be back anytime soon but we will see. I hope to maybe one day go back and revisit this location. That is today's post and boy I wasn't happy at all. Sandwich wasn't that bad just little too much honey mustard but what can you do. These things happen and honestly you cannot control it. Look I had 3 bad ones I hope to get a lower amount on the bad reviews but never know you could see me rant this year a few times but again we will honestly will see. I would like to go back to a couple of them honestly and that is for another time and another blog post. Hope you guys enjoyed this post and I will talk to you guys tomorrow for the next food review tomorrow at 12 pm EST.

Sauter's Inn Food Review

So last Thursday night, my parents and I went out for dinner to celebrate my mom's 71st birthday and I think its a great idea to do actually and I do enjoy doing this with family and we have not done this before the 3 of us. Anyways we went to Sauters Inn in Pickering which is all German Food. I had 2 glasses of wine which is very unusual of me majority of the time. Now the menu side of things, it was not an easy choice to make when it comes to the food side of things and I just wasn't really sure what to get honestly but the decision was made to get the Veal Cordon Bleu which was very tasty and the breading practically fell off as it was very well cooked. For those who do not know Cordon Bleu can be used with Chicken as well but we always have Chicken every week here in the house so it was time for something completely different this time around. Also I had a choice of potatoes and veggies but decided to go with just the potatoes as I didn't wanna over do things. Funny thing I finished everything on the plate so I was sure as heck hungry when it came to dinner. So overall the Cordon Bleu was good, I would give that a 5 out of 5 all day long. Same with the potatoes as they were nice and crunchy as I like my potatoes from time to time.

Finally we indeed had dessert and I wasn't going to as I was pretty much full but managed to slip it in. Anyways I had Apple Strudel with powdered sugar on it with a scoop of Ice Cream. Ice cream was so nice and creamy like it should be and the strudel was nice and hot as a piece of pie or strudel is. It is always good warmed up and that extra touch of powered sugar was nice touch to it. So the strudel itself is definitely a 5 out of 5 as I enjoyed it. I would go back in the very nearby future with my parents are occasion like birthdays for prime example. However this isn't the first time having it as my mom has brought home leftovers so I know what it tastes like, however this is the first time that I have been to the actual restaurant itself if that does make any sense to you guys whatsoever so there is a slight difference but I have had food from there and enjoyed every moment of it as it is a very delicious food. My favorite dishes are the Cordon Bleu, schnitzel and so forth. It was expensive but always nice to go do once and a while from time to time.

Appleby's Restaurant- Watertown, NY Food Review

This is one of the toughest ones to actually write as I had not such a great experience. Now we mind you if you remember the post about the trip I did mention this restaurant well this is going to be the toughest one yet. So we got there, quaint place and very busy around the lunch hour but that's OK, we managed to not wait long before getting our seat. We ordered drinks and of course our food. We got our drinks and ended up waiting little over 30 minutes for food. Now that day I just wanted to get home, I was ready to get back on the road and home bound but we waited and waited. My mom and dad asked when our food and they went to check. They said it's coming and yet the food still didn't show the heck up and I was furious and losing my patience with them. I kept saying to my parents let's just walk out as enough was enough and the waiter overheard me saying that and ended up getting the manager as we felt frustrated. Manager came and said it is coming and that we wouldn't have to pay it was on them so that was really nice of him. However I wasn't remotely happy with the fact we had to wait this long for the food but in the end it is what it is.

Now to the actual food that I had was a Quesadilla Burger with Tomatoes, lettuce, cheese, red onions. Now it tasted very good and the burger was very juicy and never had a burger on a Quesadilla and this was an all time first for me honestly. I had fries with it on the side and those were tasty, not gooey. They were nice and crispy and the the flavor was really nice too, like some pepper on the fries which gave it flavor actually. The food I'd give 5 out of 5 all day long. There was nothing clearly wrong with the food, it was more the wait that really bothers me the most of this experience. The restaurant I am giving a 3 out of 5, despite the really long wait and I was going to be giving it a 1 but being generous as we did not have to pay for the food due to this inconvenience. I probably wouldn't go back at this particular location in the town but probably wouldn't be back through that town anyways as we are not planning to go back that way right now. Like I said to conclude these food reviews, this wasn't the easiest one to write to be honest but I am glad I am able to do these reviews. Next review will be a movie review of the Lion King Movie tomorrow morning.

Dunkin Donuts Food Review

On today's blog, I am going to review what I thought of the Dunkin Donuts... well donuts of course! First of all I am sorry about yesterday was primarily focused on the Podcast and trying to catch up so I would be able to go live tonight. Sometimes I need to sacrifice the blog to catch up and I know you guys will understand. Anyways I went to Dunkin Donuts somewhere in the state of New York I honestly have no bleeping clue where it was so I cannot really give you guys an answer but it was one of those stops on the side of the highway honestly. Anyways I ordered a honey dip donut. The first reaction of the donut was it was so soft, so fresh and the actual glaze wasn't a mess like any other one that I have had in the past or at anywhere. It was really good and I actually had a second donut from Dunkin Donuts later on like once I got to Boston and that was good too but gooey but still regardless sooo good!  Now I never have had Dunkin Donuts and this was my first time having it ever in my entire life! The second time I went to the Dunkin Donuts I had the exact same thing and pretty much still the same results like the first time I had Dunkin so pretty much I had nothing negative to say about it honestly.

This trip I tried a bunch of new things that I never had before and there is nothing really wrong with that honestly. That is why I went on this trip to try some new things and this year is about me trying new things and I have definitely gone above and beyond on that and so far I think it went well minus two or three negative reviews I had and I will get into that on another post. Now for the rating of Dunkin Donuts is 5 of 5 all day long! Like I said before there is nothing remotely negative to say really. Loved it and if we go back down, I'd consider going back if I wanted a sweet treat and probably end up doing their Boston Cream which is one of my other favorite donuts and will definitely try that. Either way that was the second one I did as you know that I did Arby's first but I festered up and did this one first but it is coming probably by next week set of posts that are coming as I got a pile of food reviews which will be out every 2nd day. Either way I hope you enjoy it and let me know what you think of Dunkin Donuts? Leave your comment below in the comments! I will talk to you guys tomorrow with Days 3 & 4 for the Boston Trip.

McCafe Express Service Review....

Making this my last post about my trip to Toronto with Dave as you guys are probably getting sick of me talking about the trip honestly and I promise you this is the final post and hope you do enjoy today's blog post as its not a food review this time, its more of a service review at a restaurant.  What restaurant well McCafe which is part of the McDonald's restaurant chain.  Now the lineup itself was long enough and we had to catch the 213 pm train as the train only ran every hour that weekend due to track work in Durham so we were quite in time to getting food and he wanted to grab something small and so did I as well. At first we had the option of going through the express option with the express order I guess you would call it I guess or the line and risk us missing the train . We did line up to order but then we made that decision it would be too long so we ordered at the touch screen and mind you it went much faster then we expected and able to finish up eating in time for the Go Train.

Now what did I have? I had a grilled cheese on Multi Grain brain which was really super good, so soft, tender with the very gooey cheese it was very delicious and to me that is my kind of comfort food. I am not one for usually to eat Multi Grain bread but I am glad I tried it because it was indeed really good. I love how the cheese was just gooing out of the bread which means it was was cooked enough to melt the cheese in the sandwich and it wasn't done like you would do it at home. It was done in a sandwich press as I can tell by the grill marks so it is so obvious that is how it was done but it doesn't matter how it was done it was really good and delicious too. The price was reasonable and wasn't overly expensive and no fast food place is really too pricey to be honest.  Would I do this again? Of course the service, especially  the speedy service as I said before we were in a mad rush as we had a Go Train to catch at 213 in the afternoon and it was an easy solution for us to grab some food before we head out back home, mind you it was the only real choice that we had or it was either that and go back out the door, miss this train, wait one more extra hour for a bus which would actually suck as I was crabby by that time of the day. We made the right choice and no regrets whatsoever, service gets a 10/10 in my books!

Prospects Grill- Chicken Fingers and Fries REVIEW

First thing I would like to say is, I know I am a couple of days late from when I was at the Generals Game and having dinner out but I had other posts I wanted to get out before but anyways here is my review on the Prospects Grill for the meal 5 pieces of Chicken Fingers and French Fries with a drink:

As you guys know, this is my second time around at Prospects, I had to do yet another blog post but this time reviewing their Chicken Fingers and French Fries and this time around I took a picture including the view from seats we were in as you can see, we had rink view seats this time around which is really cool to have for a change as last time we were by the window seat looking out at Athol Street and the Walk In Clinic as well. Now to set today's blog post up, I ordered my usual soft drink, a coke, 5 pieces of Chicken Fingers, with Fries. We waited no more then 5 - 10 minutes and we had our dinner already brought to our table same with our friend Mike as well. We were really surprised that we got our dinner so quickly but don't worry it was fully cooked.

Let's talk about the french fries, it was crispy and what I like about these fries, they had some of the potato skins still on it but I love the skin on the french fries, I don't mind it at all whatsoever. Now let's move on to the chicken finger, sauce it's like a sweet and sour sauce it was not spicy but had that sweet and sour taste but it could of also been a plum sauce but I think it was a sweet and sour sauce. The Chicken Fingers when I bit into it and the chicken was fully cooked and it was so tender and soft when I bit into the chicken it liked melted in my mouth when I chewed it and it was so good and the Chicken fingers were the first to be finished. Overall the meal does get a 10/10 and again I would definitely go back for another meal. I do not wanna talk about the Hockey game as I had a rough night during the second period of the hockey but good food and good company for the evening, I enjoyed a majority of the night with my friends.

Prospect's Grill @ Tribute Community Center REVIEW

Yesterday, I got to go to an Ontario Hockey League game for those who don't know, I live in a city which has one and I will not reveal the city as I do not want to end up doxed but I got to also go out for dinner with my friends before the hockey game happened and I will not talk about the game in this blog, nor ever talk about the game from last night as I am embarrassed and plus I wanted to go at it with a fan.

Anyways,  I went for dinner before the game, like I said and I ordered a Beef Hamburger, I could of gotten Chicken Burger if I wished but I rather have gotten my normal beef burger. It had lettuce, onions and pickles on it, along with the condiments mustard and ketchup. The burger was so juicy, the bun was so fresh and it fell apart which means it was a fresh bun. The cook on the burger was perfect not burnt, just as I like it Medium rare. I know I sound like Gordon Ramsey don't I? ha-ha! Now lets move on to the next part, the french fries and trust me they had enough of them but I managed to eat everything on my plate last night. The fries were cooked nicely, they actually had the skin on them, which is what I love is the skin action on the fries, now I don't mind it without the skin but I will eat them with the skin on, it seals in the flavor of the fry. Now add it with ketchup or vinegar and it is awesome! Price wise, it is very reasonable prices, especially if you ordered what I did I paid about $18.60 for my meal which is reasonable. Also I got free refills on my cold beverages too which I took advantage and I got a re-fill on my drink.

Trust me I was full by the end of the dinner and felt very satisfying to have a full stomach but I really enjoyed eating at the Prospects Grill and I will rate it 5 out of 5 stars and in the end I would go back to the Prospects Grill for another meal and never know I may try something else different and see how it tastes, but all I know they will see me again in the near future, next time I'm at a Gens game with my friends or with my family members, I'll be back for sure!

Need For Speed Pursuit First Impressions

I have decided once a week that I will do a gaming first impressions when I start a new video game that I have purchased, but if their is no first impressions of video games, I won't post but if I got several of them, then I will obviously will post one every week and talk about what I thought about the game out of first impressions of the game.

Now on to the first impressions of the video game I have picked for this week. I chose today to post is Need For Speed Pursuit and for those who didn't know I have played Need For Speed World when it was an online game for free but obviously they shutdown the servers 2 years or so ago, so now I was without Need For Speed in a video game until I got NFS Pursuit and also Need For Speed SHIFT and I will do a First Impression next week at some point of the week. Now at the start of playing this game, I had no clue what the heck how to play, the buttons to hit the gas pedal to move the car which affected me in the race especially when I should be trying to keep up with the other racers in the game. However once you learn the gas pedals buttons on the keyboard as I am playing it on the PC, it is not that hard, however I prefer to use my game controller instead and I can race much easier with my remote controller. I do admit it is completely different from Need For Speed World but I like the video game though as  a whole because it has both elements that NFS World has, racing and also cop chases both as the crook and as the cop which is pretty cool and it is a big difference from the other Need For Speed I have played in the past, more cars are added and you get pretty decent cars at the start which helps me a lot but you unlock more as you go further and further in the game so this time your not spending any game money you earn on the video game but its more into the points system you unlock and able to use other and even better cars within the game!

So what would I rate this game out of 10? Definitely a 10/10, its easy to learn, easy to understand through the game and its fun and exciting to play for hours on end and plus you can chose which ones you play as you unlock more and more tracks as you go on in the game!
