Old Spaghetti Factory Review

This was going back at least 22 years ago this actually ties into the review I did about Mamma Mia Musical on stage. Because before we went to the show, we went to the Old Spaghetti Factory for dinner and I remember they have or had an old streetcar that you can sit in and I believe we sat in one of those for dinner if I remember correctly. I probably had something simple for dinner like Spaghetti and Meatballs with Garlic bread but all I remember it was soooo good! I've been thinking about this for a while wanting to go back if you think of it I was like 12 or 13 years of age at the time and in 8th grade so talk about major deja vu honestly. Food was awesome I can tell you that and I really enjoyed the food, I'd give it a 10 out of 10 all day long.

I know it's still open despite the pandemic which is great as it has become an iconic place to eat in Toronto and still open and running in Toronto so post pandemic I need to make a trip back there and try something different on the menu and it has been a very long time since I was there last with my parents and maybe if theirs a show we go to we could definitely go back but amazing food and a amazing experience when it comes to the Old Spaghetti Factory. I highly recommend it if your in Toronto or visit the city at anytime, especially if you love pasta like I do it is well worth the visit. Anyways that is my small post today, hope you guys enjoyed it and as always, I will talk to you all tomorrow for the end of the week updates.

Cheers, Boston Food Review!

The last place I went to on the trip in the way of eating was Cheers and yes I realize it is the name of the TV Show. Also it was the actual set of where they filmed the TV Show back in the days in the 80's into the early 90's. Yes I have seen an episode to see if I actually like the show and I did! I plan to watch more down the road too! Anyways comparison from back then to now its different. At one point it use to be a wide open as a bar but now has the front room which is quite quaint honestly and a back room with more space for eating and what not but still quaint place and really looks like the actual bar from the actual show which actually it is what my parents actually told me so. However it was filmed in Los Angeles technically. The bar was inspired for the show!
Now to the food part of it  I had a Cesar Salad with a nice home made mac and cheese. The mac and cheese was so creamy and gooey but really super delicious. Cesar Salad I had was so fresh and was exactly like the way my mom makes it here at home from time to time. Overall the experience of Cheers In Boston was great, the server she was so amazing! Big shoutout to her, I think her name was Sarah but that seems too long ago about 2 weeks now since we were there but either way she was really nice! I would give Cheers a 20 out of 5 as it was above and beyond our expectations compare to the food review that is about to come up in the less then 2 days, Friday to be exact as I am not for one looking forward to reviewing it and been dreading it for the past little while now but I have to deal with it and I will try to stay positive and nothing negative for the blogs sake which I have so far in the last 600 + posts I have done over the years. Tomorrow I am doing something different so stay tuned for that!

Have a great night! Sorry this is extremely late as I have been spending time with my niece and nephew lately!

Tim Horton's Waffle Breakfast Sandwich Review

Last Saturday as you know, I was in Toronto for the day and both Dave and I met at the mall and we decided to get some breakfast at Tim Horton's which mind you it is a great sandwiches and breakfast's that they have but I went something out of the ordinary and had the waffle sandwich which consists of sausage, egg between two waffles. I know it doesn't sound so appetizing to you guys and I know I felt anxious and nervous for trying this sandwich at first but I decided to say the heck with it and I am going to give it a shot and I was afraid to take the first but I didn't want to have it go cold on me if that makes any sense to you guys whatsoever so I took a bite into it and I can taste the sausage, the egg and of course the waffle.  However the part that did bother me was the fact it had Maple Syrup and I know that is part of the waffle when you have em alone especially but the way I felt about it I... Something didn't seem very right for me. I felt like the maple on the waffles did not mix with the eggs portion and I had a very odd look on my face at start and honestly even though I didn't like it I pushed myself to finish it up as I needed to have something to eat to give me energy for the long and painful travel as you know what both Dave and I went through.

Now would I eat it again? Most definitely not as it wasn't my favorite item on the list at Timmies but I want to be honest and I do not think in the very near future I will be not trying it as I just did not like the taste of it especially with the Maple and yes I am a big Maple Syrup fan too but not so much with waffles, egg and sausage. Least I tried it out and see if I actually did enjoy it or not and that is what matters to me is I actually took a risk and tried something new. I can admit it was a moist sandwich and cooked to perfection and not burned or under cooked it was perfect it was just the flavoring that kind of got to me but like I said I tried it and I do not have to have it down the road again but I am glad to have tried it. I have been open to trying a lot of new things lately which is a good thing and it is always good to try brand new things. Speaking of which, tomorrow's blog post will be another food review with McCafe which will be out at 11 am EST like usual. Hope you guys enjoyed this post and let me know if you do enjoy these food reviews or restaurant reviews I do from time to time.

Aunt Gussie's Restaurant Food Review (Grand Bend, Ontario)

Thanks to @ralyssa11 On Twitter, as she recommended this restaurant to my dad and I, my dad and I had the opportunity and chance to eat there on the day we left Grand Bend and it was a long wait but it was worth the entire wait and it wasn't really that long wait honestly, it didn't feel that long honestly. Once they cleared a table for us, we got seated and ordered juice and coffee for my dad obviously and we put in the order. I don't remember what he had but I had the Aunt Gussie classic breakfast which consist 2 eggs, bacon, potato small wedges and toast.

Now the eggs were done over easy to my liking and it was cooked to my liking. The bacon wasn't too crispy, I like it not too crispy but even I am able to chew the bacon without hurting my teeth in the process. The potatoes were nice and soft and tasted really well. I should of done ketchup but I don't think they had that condiment out yet as it was still the morning at the time.  The toast, well the bread was so soft and I actually like the bread diagonal and wanna do that from here on out.

So this restaurant out of 5 gets a 5 all day as it is a nice hearty meal and great way to get your day started as Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. But be patient when you go to Aunt Gussie's it is worth it. The staff (waitresses) work so hard and go back and forth and gives you great service which is great in a restaurant. If you are in the Grand Bend Ontario, do give it a shot by eating at Aunt Gussie's!

Prospects Grill- Chicken Fingers and Fries REVIEW

First thing I would like to say is, I know I am a couple of days late from when I was at the Generals Game and having dinner out but I had other posts I wanted to get out before but anyways here is my review on the Prospects Grill for the meal 5 pieces of Chicken Fingers and French Fries with a drink:

As you guys know, this is my second time around at Prospects, I had to do yet another blog post but this time reviewing their Chicken Fingers and French Fries and this time around I took a picture including the view from seats we were in as you can see, we had rink view seats this time around which is really cool to have for a change as last time we were by the window seat looking out at Athol Street and the Walk In Clinic as well. Now to set today's blog post up, I ordered my usual soft drink, a coke, 5 pieces of Chicken Fingers, with Fries. We waited no more then 5 - 10 minutes and we had our dinner already brought to our table same with our friend Mike as well. We were really surprised that we got our dinner so quickly but don't worry it was fully cooked.

Let's talk about the french fries, it was crispy and what I like about these fries, they had some of the potato skins still on it but I love the skin on the french fries, I don't mind it at all whatsoever. Now let's move on to the chicken finger, sauce it's like a sweet and sour sauce it was not spicy but had that sweet and sour taste but it could of also been a plum sauce but I think it was a sweet and sour sauce. The Chicken Fingers when I bit into it and the chicken was fully cooked and it was so tender and soft when I bit into the chicken it liked melted in my mouth when I chewed it and it was so good and the Chicken fingers were the first to be finished. Overall the meal does get a 10/10 and again I would definitely go back for another meal. I do not wanna talk about the Hockey game as I had a rough night during the second period of the hockey but good food and good company for the evening, I enjoyed a majority of the night with my friends.

Prospect's Grill @ Tribute Community Center REVIEW

Yesterday, I got to go to an Ontario Hockey League game for those who don't know, I live in a city which has one and I will not reveal the city as I do not want to end up doxed but I got to also go out for dinner with my friends before the hockey game happened and I will not talk about the game in this blog, nor ever talk about the game from last night as I am embarrassed and plus I wanted to go at it with a fan.

Anyways,  I went for dinner before the game, like I said and I ordered a Beef Hamburger, I could of gotten Chicken Burger if I wished but I rather have gotten my normal beef burger. It had lettuce, onions and pickles on it, along with the condiments mustard and ketchup. The burger was so juicy, the bun was so fresh and it fell apart which means it was a fresh bun. The cook on the burger was perfect not burnt, just as I like it Medium rare. I know I sound like Gordon Ramsey don't I? ha-ha! Now lets move on to the next part, the french fries and trust me they had enough of them but I managed to eat everything on my plate last night. The fries were cooked nicely, they actually had the skin on them, which is what I love is the skin action on the fries, now I don't mind it without the skin but I will eat them with the skin on, it seals in the flavor of the fry. Now add it with ketchup or vinegar and it is awesome! Price wise, it is very reasonable prices, especially if you ordered what I did I paid about $18.60 for my meal which is reasonable. Also I got free refills on my cold beverages too which I took advantage and I got a re-fill on my drink.

Trust me I was full by the end of the dinner and felt very satisfying to have a full stomach but I really enjoyed eating at the Prospects Grill and I will rate it 5 out of 5 stars and in the end I would go back to the Prospects Grill for another meal and never know I may try something else different and see how it tastes, but all I know they will see me again in the near future, next time I'm at a Gens game with my friends or with my family members, I'll be back for sure!
