The Royal Winter Fair 2023

My job never ends, from podcasting to blogging to editing to going to events and Fairs this year has been eventful I can honestly say. Anyways this is the 101st Royal Agricultural Winter Fair and unfortunately missed the 100th last year but heard from a vendor that it was very busy place last year. Anyways they had Tack for horses and going with the theme of the Fair being equestrian, farm, also crops and farming. Also Fudge which we got my mom a piece and I tried a chocolate Cheesecake and will talk about that the food review posts with the samples and the meals I had out.

Of course they had cheesecake, Food court area with basically what they had 4 years ago when we went there last. They had beef jerky which we tried some and bought some for ourselves as we tried it and again I will talk about it on the blog later. They had a lot of things even Salami's which we found out Port Perry has a Farmers Market in the late spring, summer and early fall. They had Holstein show for the 5 year old cows and also another one that we saw late called the Summer Herfer class. They have their gourds, not as many as they did 4 years back, they had the grains as always which I did a comparison for my dad via an app for photos. They had chickens which I have a cool 3 second video of the Rooster crowing and chickens being chickens. Also have the Super Dogs in their own section a kids play area. Also saw the bees as always, found the queen very quickly. Finally we saw the Rode Ponies and the 3 horse hitch which was really cool in the Coliseum along with art, shirts, cup and much more. I could go all day but that is the post for now, I'm sorry this was overboard but thank you for reading and I will speak to you all at 1 pm ET.

Back @ The Royal Winter Fair This Week in 4 Years!

For the first time in 4 years, I will be returning to The Royal Winter Fair since November 2019 before the pandemic start. I know I've been on edge about going back and contracting COVID again but I will be wearing my mask and hope my dad does too just to be on the safe side as Toronto is where I got sick with it in the first place. However this is the first time for this event again and I have missed it dearly. I am so happy to be returning to the Royal again after a 4 year absence from it. I will have my phone and take a ton of pics of the show itself.

However, I will not be attending the horse show since there isn't one during the afternoon during the week and there use to be but not anymore. It would be late for us to get out of there and back home so it's definitely not worth it but if it was on a weekend... Most definitely yes. Always next year. However I'll be there taking notes and pictures to talk about my first time back at The Royal Winter Fair for the first time in 4 years. This has indeed been long overdo and excited for this week getting back into events locally and abroad meaning Toronto as I have two schedule. Anyways that is the post for today and as always I will speak to you all tomorrow!

Toronto Trip With My Dad!

On Wednesday, I was in Toronto for the day with my dad. I showed him the new Bay Concourse where you get the Go Train in any of the directions. That took up 30 - 45 minutes of our time and I explained a lot of things to my dad even with the food court not yet open but looked like it was work in progress and they've gotten further then a few weeks ago when Eric and I were there few weeks back which I think was end of the month of June so almost a month honestly. It was truly nice to be back and a lot busier Wednesday when my dad and I went to Toronto but if you remember it was towards the end of the month of June and kids were still in school and finishing up their year so it wasn't as busy as it was earlier this week.

Now, we went through Scotiabank Arena where the Leafs and the Raptors play and took some pictures in front of the statues which was cool. Next we went to the Island and we got on the Hanlan's Point and walked to Centre Island. It was busy on the Ferry no matter what Ferry we took, originally we planned Ward's but Ferry was busy but then decided Centre but we missed it and didn't leave till noon as they added in the other Ferry, Sam McBride. So Ongaria was coming in so we took it and decided to go to Hanlan's. When we got to Centre Island we went to Far Enough Farm to see the animals and we also saw an Zbu which is a type of cattle and was very friendly and affectionate like it was a dog. Never seen an animal friendly like this before but was neat. Never heard of em till yesterday. Anyways, that is the post for today, I will talk to you all on Monday for the next blog post, please enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Pizza, Pizza @ Toronto Union Review [The Return!]

YES! 3.5 years later and I have returned. I would of done it sooner but COVID happened and I wasn't able to return to do another review to see if anything changed. However I have good news and bad news on this review. First the good news, the pizza wasn't burnt nor cold and was perfect, hot and gooey and really great, no complaints whatsoever with it at all. I was very happy with it. It is most definitely a good changed from 3.5 years ago but you have to remember it was fairly new when I was there 3.5 years ago as the food court at Union Station so it was a new Pizza Pizza, however I am very happy on the change but there is a downpart to it.

The down part was they had no drinks to go with your meal and I wasn't impressed whatsoever and I had to go to the corner store at the York Concourse to get a drink so I am not happy on that whatsoever. I already mentioned it in a feedback email and at this point, I have given up trying, yes they improved but there was that one issue and at this point I have to give it a 8 out of 10 rating cause of the drink situation and at this point. I wanna move on with other reviews but at least I can give a review and it's 80% 8 out of 10 = 80% so it is a positive end to what was a dissastified review from years ago, it was 0 out of 10 from 3.5 years ago. You guys been asking for this review and there you go, that is the end result and as always I will talk to you all tomorrow.

Did a Trip Into Toronto Today for The First Time In Almost 3 Years!

It has been almost 3 years now since I was in Toronto and this week 2 days ago, I got the chance and opportunity to actually go into Toronto. Now Eric and I didn't get to step off the bus whatsoever as time was very limited for the both of us to get back to meet up with the Terry but most definitely next time we will make sure we leave early enough. I will get to that at the end of the post. The route was interesting in the way of route and even catered to the college I went to almost 12 years ago which is scary and of course the university here as well since it serves both as their on the same property and campus together.  Then straight down to one of the big roads and west. On the way made stop at a Go Station on the way I believe it was only one station then across. It weaved in and out was an incredible route. It took us long enough to get there hour and a half but worth it.

I am so glad that they have a way to connect to TTC (Toronto Transit Commission) as they didn't really have any connection via our transit and theirs which is totally nice. Next time we would have to leave early enough and spend sometime out there at Scarborough Town Centre area which will be coming later in the spring when it gets warmer and also a trip to downtown with Eric so I can say I've been to Toronto myself but for now I am staying put and next week is another adventure back into Scarborough via the 900 route then down to Guildwood and home. That is my little storytime for this week what I did and where I went this week and this is the start for me returning to Toronto hopefully soon as I wanna eventually go to the Blue Jays/Cubs game at Rogers Centre this summer.

Old Spaghetti Factory Review

This was going back at least 22 years ago this actually ties into the review I did about Mamma Mia Musical on stage. Because before we went to the show, we went to the Old Spaghetti Factory for dinner and I remember they have or had an old streetcar that you can sit in and I believe we sat in one of those for dinner if I remember correctly. I probably had something simple for dinner like Spaghetti and Meatballs with Garlic bread but all I remember it was soooo good! I've been thinking about this for a while wanting to go back if you think of it I was like 12 or 13 years of age at the time and in 8th grade so talk about major deja vu honestly. Food was awesome I can tell you that and I really enjoyed the food, I'd give it a 10 out of 10 all day long.

I know it's still open despite the pandemic which is great as it has become an iconic place to eat in Toronto and still open and running in Toronto so post pandemic I need to make a trip back there and try something different on the menu and it has been a very long time since I was there last with my parents and maybe if theirs a show we go to we could definitely go back but amazing food and a amazing experience when it comes to the Old Spaghetti Factory. I highly recommend it if your in Toronto or visit the city at anytime, especially if you love pasta like I do it is well worth the visit. Anyways that is my small post today, hope you guys enjoyed it and as always, I will talk to you all tomorrow for the end of the week updates.

What Do I Think About The Maple Leafs This Season?

I have had mixed feelings at times when they play a not as strong team, they lose but other then that, I am quite impressed on well they are playing together and yeah we're in the playoffs right now. I think a lot of the problems was Covid-19 cases on the team and this wasn't just the Leafs, it was other teams in the league and I can understand the frustration and it is going to happen. Also we have a few injuries and Marazak the back-up had some injuries that was a problem and we all know we couldn't rely on Campbell all the time like for crying out loud he needs a break from time to time. We cannot have him become fatigue whatsoever as his the the man behind the net but we also need a healthy backup goalie as well. However we seem to bring up Joesph Woll who has done a fantastic job when he was called up and played in the net. I know we had the issues with the other goalie Hutchinson and those who know me well, I am not a Hutchinson fan.

However I just hope they can make a real run at the playoffs and go farther then the first round and they are a very well rounded young team just hope this is the year where they can go far and I know they can. However I have had my frustrations this year with them having the lead then blowing it where they are tied up leading to overtime but a win is a win still regardless of anything. I got remain hopeful for the rest of this season as we wont be done till late April cause of make up games that had to be made up due to cancelled games. I know they said Toronto has a high chance of being successful but now at 6th place which is lower then last years standings it is hard for me to predict. But that is what I think about the Leafs. I hope you guys enjoyed this post and I will speak to you all tomorrow.

Fried Perogies At Toronto Christmas Market Food Review!

As I promised you guys I would do a food review for you guys from the Toronto Christmas Market back on Wednesday and yes I did a double blog post for you guys today. As I mentioned in my post back at noon I had the Perogies with onions and also bacon and not small pieces of bacon either big chunks of it too. They even gave me a ton of sour cream which made it so good. Now the Perogie isn't your typical boiled as it was actually fried European Style which was really, really good even tho it was tough to actually cut but I someway, somehow seemed to manage it with no problem. In the perogie there was potato and cheese the kind we have sometimes every 2nd week or so when we cannot figure out what we want to eat for dinner. The dough was tougher then usual but manageable but it was really good even with the bacon, onions and sour cream.  It wasn't my favorite but don't forget this is the first time I have had this and it is honestly hard to cut that was pretty much my main issue.

However I am overlooking that part of the meal the bacon, onions all well cooked and had a ton of flavor so that was good and the cheese and potato were super good too so out of it all it would be a 4 out of 5 and yes I am being generous with the entire meal. Now would I do it again? Hmmm maybe, I really unsure but again I could be feeling different from this review come this time next year when it is time to go to the Christmas Market 2020 as I am sure my dad and I will be back there again at the end of next year. However I want to try something different there instead and kind of switch things up each year and I am sure I will be back to the same thing eventually but who knows. Either way I ate it and enjoyed it and that is what entirely matters to me and really I didn't complain about it but it was in the back of my mind on the one issue but really I didn't worry about it at all. I am all about the experience at the Toronto Christmas Market every year that I go with my dad and we made time despite the busy schedule around this studio reno project. Finally I hope you enjoyed this bonus post and I will see you in tomorrow's regular post at the usual time.

Toronto Distillery Christmas Market 2019

Wednesday afternoon, I got to go with my dad and honestly I really didn't want to go but I went and I had a ton of fun once I got there. Yea I was tired and I once again didn't sleep or didn't sleep at all and by the time you see this post I am already on the road to meet up with 2 of my former staff. Anyways we took the Go Train and yes I had to refill my Presto as I may have ran right out by the time I got home but that is besides the point. The train trip takes me about 45 minutes from here to there and that is OK honestly. We got there we had to take a subway and a streetcar there but least its not as long as last year as we got stuck at a station due to a damn signal ahead so this year we were a little worries. We got there we had dinner first which was Perogies which I will be posting up a second post up for you guys this afternoon at 3 pm EST.

There was a socks booth, chocolate booth, Melted Swiss Cheese, Poutine which again I will explain that part in my Food Review later on when I post up the blog post later on.  they also have a smores booth which is very yummy, Wishing Well, drinks both normal and alcoholic which I just had a hot chocolate due to my meds which next year I am taking before I leave for the event this way I can join my dad. Of course they had a tree and it was blue and white with the big shiny balls and I can imagine the comments to this post from you guys... smh.  However some of the lights were off and I thought they would of checked the lights or they just burnt out so they will probably have to replace em. We had a good time one way or another and the time we were there went very fast and just enjoyed ourselves as we always do. This does conclude events locally and also in Toronto for 2019 and 2020 is close to coming I am already excited for the events in 2020 which pretty much are the same the events as this year but with some adjustments that I need to make in 2020. I will talk to you in the next post later on today for the Food Review.

Pizza and Dessert From Kitchen Place Food Review!

Now it is obvious where I was now it is 48 hours now which equals 2 days ago technically but on the way back we went to the local grocery store which had warm food and when I say warm food I mean Pizza, whole chicken, some good stuff and reasonable prices too. So I grabbed Pizza, mainly Pepperoni and Cheese Pizza which had a nice hint of Oregano which we all know is a herb and tastes great in food. Anyways the first bite that I took and it was really fresh. It was also really super soft and very delicious as well and I really did enjoy it. My thought was just like my mom's homemade pizza that she makes from time to time which next time I eat pizza will probably be on my 34th Birthday this year. Now for the rating I would give it a 10 out of 10. It was really enjoyable and I would eat the Pizza again even if my dad and I even went there I would definitely have it again especially as it was really good.

However for the dessert, not as enjoyable as I was not happy with it whatsoever but I ate it. I found this chocolate and with some creamy stuff inside too sweet for my liking. Now yes I have a sweet tooth but that much of a sweet tooth honestly. Both Eric and I found it too sweet so it wasn't that great. Now if it didn't have the cream on top and just chocolate in the middle of the chocolate part that probably been fine but the way they had it and it is very hard to explain to you guys what I am talking about. I should of took a picture of all the food I had but I didn't. Either way I wasn't pleased with the result of the dessert so I probably, more then likely just like Eric not too happy with the dessert. However majority of the time I'd say there are tons of things that I do like and this dessert wasn't one of them on my list along with Sushi which is one I do not like whatsoever. Either way this dessert is getting a 1 out of 10 as I said I found it too sweet and that's OK, but I will give em a 5 out of 10 the way it was presented in the container and it did look good at the time but once I took a bite, I wasn't overly impressed. I hope you enjoyed this food review and I hope to have more like these again in the very nearby future.

Royal Winter Fair 2019- No Media Pass

Obviously this isn't the greatest news I wanted to give you guys but this year I am not getting a media pass as they didn't get back to me in time but also my fault for putting off getting the Royal Winter Fair planning and what day I was planning to go so it is majority of my own fault as I should of done this on September and is the best time to get my name in there. So there will be no be no blog post this year and it is unfortunate that I will not be doing a post for you guys this year. I feel so bad for you guys that I will not be releasing anything on here but I will still be going one way or another this year so I will not have my fancy badge on me saying im Media so this means I will be taking no notes whatsoever which is a disappointment honestly for me. However I will figure something out for next weekend and what to bring out. Next year I need to get ahead of myself and plan ahead especially for an event like this it does take a bit of planning to get myself ready for the event. So 2020 I am going to be changing things up and planning ahead and I am going to start working on the events list for 2020 this week at some point.

Like I said I will be there and taking a few selfies and pics here and there but not as many as I have in the past as I just do not want to get into too much trouble but you can expect a few pics on the Instagram page but again not too many with some of them on Instagram. So I apologize for the lateness of the post but there is no post this year and this is the first time in years I have not made a post about the Royal Winter Fair but there is always next year for me to do a post at next years Royal Winter Fair but excited to be just going for the fun of it and have no work involved this time around so that will be definitely a nice change but if you guys see me feel free to say hello cause you cannot miss me honestly haha! Either way I am excited to be going and getting away from my studio for the day.

Ukrainian and Polish Festival 2019!

Obviously there was no blog but I had no time when I woke up to write something small and when I got home I was so tired, I cleaned up and was in bed pretty fast and up bright and early this morning. Anyways this morning I want to talk about the Ukrainian and Polish Festival. I want to start off with the Ukrainian Festival which we went to after the disaster of transit issues which I will talk about on a separate post tomorrow which is a post on itself technically. Anyways we got there safely and we actually did make it a little later then we wanted technically but we did miss the parade this year which was definitely a disappointment however we saw a preview of some of the entertainment that we were going to see and we did see some entertainment on the other side of the event over at Runnymede Street in Toronto. Anyways there was tons of options for food, there was rides there for the kids, they had hats from all the different countries including Ukraine, Poland and so forth. Now food wise we had the 8 Perogi, I had the cheddar and potato and my dad had the Cottage Cheese and Potato. However next year I want to split things so this way I can try the other one. The perogies were good, super soft, delicious and the onions very nicely caramelized. However 2 issues with the Perogi Pavilion. First issue they forgot my water we had to remind them and the second part was they forgot the sour cream which we paid for so I was not pleased and I think next year we will go elsewhere for our food and I wasn't pleased with the mistakes made.

Now we traveled onto the Polish Festival and we actually were back on schedule which again I will talk about it tomorrow on the blog post about the mishap with the transit system as I said it is for a separate post tomorrow. So we got there and we walked down Roncesvalle which both Ukrainian and Polish were busy and I am happy to see quite the crowd and it is definitely getting busier each and every year that we are there. Always nice to see people indulging in the multi culture of the city of Toronto. So we walked around and we saw the donut place that we had dessert the one year yet we forgot to stop and get one again this year but always next year we will. I wanna have at least one dessert when it comes towards these festivals. We saw one stage with some Polka music playing and yes I almost wanted to dance but I didn't. Think I was in a bit of pain with my knee but the first real pain I've had in a while. Anyways we saw some more musicians under a tent followed by some dancing at the main stage. After that we had a beer at the beer tent which was a Polish Beer and my very first one ever. It was very smooth and it did leave an after taste but still good in the end. We continued to walk all the way down Roncesvalle to almost the end of the festival and headed back up. Finally we grabbed the first part of dinner which we split a Potato Pancake also known as Latke. We continued up further and we grabbed polish sausage on a bun which the bun was massive and funny fact that is the same place as last year so kind of funny in a way but worth it and we will be back in the very nearby future again as I took a picture of it to remind me where we were for the food. Overall the two festivals were really good minus those two issues at the Perogi Pavilion at the Ukrainian but overall still a fun filled day.

Shoeless Joes- Buffalo Chicken on A Wrap Food Review

Now I admit I wasn't planning a food review honestly as you all know I was in Toronto for the Jays game and I rather squash that part of the night as I wasn't overly thrilled how the game ended and yes we left early as the game got out of control. That is all I wanna say but it was nice to see all the young guys play honestly. Now to the food review side of things which we went to Shoeless Joe's for dinner which is right along the harborfront in Toronto. So what did I have besides a glass of milk which didn't really taste too good but that's definitely not the point of this post of me complaining about milk. More then likely it was 2% which is not the one that I normally have which is 1% most of the time. So besides the milk, I had Buffalo Chicken on a wrap with fries on the side. Now you probably think hey Chris that is sort of healthy? Yes it was minus I think the chicken was breaded tho so that part wasn't so much but the rest of it was healthy. However it was a very good dish and I really did enjoy it and it was a little hotter then I thought really but still it was very delicious one way or another so it was worth having. Now the fries reminded me of the McDonald's french fries which were thin and long but they were really good as well. Little on the salty side for me as I just like a little bit of salt not too much. I also think they added a little of pepper but there was nothing wrong with it honestly but it was just a little excessive on the salt but overall still a great experience. Now my mom gave my dad and I her deep fried pickle which was really good and I have had this before at the Campus Pub when I was a college student between 2010 and 2012.

The rating for the wrap is a definite 10 out 10, not a 5 out of 5 as it exceeded expectations and I really wasn't expecting a spiciness to the Buffalo Chicken. Now for the french fries I wasn't overly happy due to the fact I felt like it was a little over salted so unfortunately I am giving it 3 out of 5 but still tasted good but it was a little over salted. Now the deep fried pickle was the best and like I said I have had this before so it is not my first rodeo when I first had it so it was worth a 10 out of 10 not my usual 5 out of 5 rating like I normally do on these food reviews. Overall experience was a 5 out of 5 as the server, she was really great to us and always helpful especially with out meals being a bit on the messy side but we had enough napkins and wet ones too to get our hands cleaned once we were finished. Was a great start to a very not so good ball game  as I thought the Jays would of won this and sweeping the Red Sox but it is what it is and hey the Jays still won the series 2 - 1 one way or another.

What Do I Think About The Blue Jays With The Young Team?

I am going to try and stay as positive as I can in this and it hasn't been the most positive feedback I have given on the Jays this year with frustration after frustration and I know all of us as fans feel that frustration honestly this year especially with change after change. I am going to explain a few things in today's blog. Now that we have gotten rid majority of our 2015 team from the ALDS, minus Smoak who is still with the organization, we sure as heck got rid of a lot of our pitchers. Honestly getting rid of Stroman was not the right move. Sanchez going yes I agree to why they traded him as his season hasn't been the greatest but started to bounce back before we traded him and now doing amazing in Houston with the Astro's Organization as recently he got a no hitter which I was very ecstatic for him. Now I haven't been a big Biagini fan in the recent years as they got him for Lirano but I have nothing but a lot of respect for Joe Biagini and getting rid of him was not the right move as we need pitching. I cannot stress that enough. He has been doing extremely well as a reliever and putting him as a starter to see how well he does. I think they should of kept him. To be honest I rather they traded Tepera who's had a rough time as a reliever and Biagini is the better option. However we got some pitchers for who we traded so still it will be interesting to see how it will work out. However back to the Stroman trade they said it is not goodbye as his contract is up in 2021 so we could see Stro come back to Toronto down the road, never know!

Which brings me into the next point. Ever since we made all these trades, the team has been performing a lot better and winning a lot more. The trade did a lot of good for the team, with this young vibrant team with Biggio, Bichette and Guerrero Jr on the team, this young team sure does have a bright future. It is like they took a page out of the Leafs which I will get to on another post in the next day or so. Now it is all about the team coming together and getting the pitching they need in order to make a run in the playoffs once again and I highly think it won't be a long wait honestly. I am looking forward to what the Jays do next and I know they have to get the pitching to help them yet the pitchers they have now have done nothing but a great job. Yes they lost 2 games in a row, however they went on a 5 game winning streak which is the most you have seen out of the team and it is so excited. I think this is the first time this season I have been excited to be watching the Blue Jays play in a long time. I can be honest back in June, I stopped watching as I lost interest, however still kept up with transactions and how they been doing but recently I got back into the Jays again and I did miss the game last night as I was in bed early so I can get work done this morning but later on I plan on watching the Jays play against the O's (Orioles).

More Food Reviews and Events To Come!

Hopefully this month and the next couple I will get a chance to do some food reviews. the plan right now was to do the Rib fest locally but I am not sure if that is going to be happening this weekend as my dad hasn't mentioned the Rib Fest so I am guessing it is not in the plans but I will talk to him see if he wants to go down for a while and try some ribs. I really wanna get back into that Rib Fest and I think it will be a fun time plus gives me some content for this blog honestly. If we don't then the next review would be all the way at the end of September for the Ukrainian and Polish Festival and I know that is a long way off but for now you guys may end up waiting on reviews for a while. There is other content you guys can read or listen to throughout the site and what not. Anyways event wise I am in the same boat as you all know I pulled out of a pile of events because they weren't working for me or my dad as he comes to most of em as he is like my chaperone which is nice to have someone at the events, especially the family. I wish there were events to go to in July and August but that are the very quiet months for me. May and June I have a few on the list but I wanna see if there is anything in July and August that I can cover. Also as you know I am no longer involved with the Autism Celebration yet I still have the board and haven't had a chance to dismantle it.

Now come this fall, I was suppose to do a few food reviews with a member of the Alumni, however they are no longer part of CBOTW and yes I am referring to the Co-Host of Power Rangers Podcast, anyways, I could get my dad to come along or Eric to come along as they both like it but where are you guys talking about? Five Guys Burgers which we got here in Canada apparently which I never knew till I went to the Walmart then I discovered Five Guys there so it is on my list. Another one and if someone starts talking things out to not only get the PR Podcast back up and running again, but to also do a run to Pop Eyes and try their food there and do an review from there. But we will see what happens. Event wise end of September like I said Ukrainian and Polish Festival will be coming up fast and will review the food there on a separate blog post. Then in October will be doing the Apple Festival followed by the Royal Winter Fair, Port Perry in December and Tyrone Parade of Lights to finish up the year in events. 2020 there will have to be some changes and additions to the list of things as Greek Festival and Autism Celebration has been pulled from the schedule so that leaves open some space but never know what will pop up.

Next Week, Heading Out To Etobicoke With Larry!

I am heading out to Etobicoke next Wednesday and already 40% chance of rain which isn't too good but we're going anyways as the chance is at 40% so it is not that bad honestly and I do not think it will happen at that percentage. So we probably have a cloudy day I am predicting and it will be a fun day ahead of us. In Etobicoke, we are first heading to Sherway Gardens to start the day off with Lunch at the mall there. From there we are heading over to Kipling Station and across to Spadina and from Spadina, we are heading down into China Town all the way to the harborfront and back to Union with no stops, then Union Station back home. However, you guys see us both Larry and I, which we will have our CBOTW Tags on, be sure to stop us and say hey! Love chatting with you guys! So we are excited to be going out there and on the bus and touring from the west end of Toronto to the Central side of Toronto and hopefully promoting CBOTW on our way across the city. If the weather is nice I will be wearing my CBOTW shirt so you will definitely recognize me one way or another. It is going to be a fun day and the fact I am getting out of Durham will be indeed nice and away from the drama I have had to deal with in the past month, it will just be nice to be away from here and in the bigger city with my co-founder of Everything About Reality TV and Co-Founder/Host Power Rangers Podcast as well.

I wish Wednesday would come quickly as I need to get away cause I am once again still going bat crazy around my studio and this week, the only time I left the studio for a few hours was back on Monday as I have been stuck inside and since the weather has been nice minus the rainy days we have had recently I should be getting out and about for the day, even a bus ride would be nice honestly but least next week I will be out and about and in July him and I are heading to Starr Burger to try their burger or the other option could be Five Guys Burger place which is nearby the Walmart and down the road from our local mall but either way we are definitely going to be out and have a great day in General. It does seem like a lot that is going on but honestly it isn't if you think of it as it is pretty much a direct route out to Union from where we will be. We have 2 - 3 different options we could do honestly but soon as we get to Long Branch, the fun will indeed begin! Oh don't worry there will be pictures on Instagram and I will be doing a blog post about the day out in Toronto as well!

Will Be Back On The Road Late June!

It is no secret that both Larry and I are planning a trip to Etobicoke and we will be at the Sherway Garden then on the best over to Kipling and across. I do not know the route from there honestly, either Streetcar across China Town down past the harbor front then to Union then Go Train home that is the question I am starting to wonder about but that is to be discussed but I will more then likely wearing my Chris B On The Web shirt and of course both of us will have our tags on as this is an official tour for CBOTW, the Founder/Owner and a member of what is left of the Alumni... I will have flyers for us to hand out if you need information and yes I will love to chat with you guys as well. I am looking forward to going out and actually being able to promote the website a bit in the public eye finally as I have been very, very quiet publicly as I have been hidden but with the nicer weather I can wear my shirt finally and able to show off everything we have worked hard for on CBOTW. Larry and I have really discussed and discussed this idea of going out and about and maybe this is something him and I need to do every year is going out promote Chris B On The Web especially in the City of Toronto I think this could be an idea to do every year. Or I could always have flyers with me when I do hit Toronto every year.

Anyways I am looking forward to the next Toronto trip with Larry this time around and able to be out of my smaller city here and away from all the drama I have had to deal with so it will be an nice break for me and it is always an excuse to go out to Toronto and it hasn't been the first trip I have been on lately as you know I was in Toronto 1 week ago Monday and I am ready to do this all over again from the start but this time going a longer distance but it will be an adventure of a life time honestly! I am looking forward to this and ready for another trip. I am sure I will be doing a few other trips from time to time to Toronto and plenty more blogs and yes I will be blogging this trip not next week but the week after I will have my pad of paper with me as usual and I know I will be out more as there will indeed more trips and events this summer as I will be one busy person.

Toronto Trip PT. 2 & Wendy's Baconator and Frosty Food Review

So obviously I was back in Toronto yesterday on a mission which I am keeping top secret but however it was a good day minus the mishap we had with trying to locate the bus out to the middle of nowhere, no mans land of Toronto and yes we were near the lake side however it took us a while to find the bus when it was a very short walk for us after all of that, we went all the way to Wellington Street for no apparent reason but luckily we figured it out and got the bus by a hair. We figured out that the bus don't even damn well stop on Wellington so we went from there back down to Front Street so we got extra exercise out of it one way or another. However we figured out the bus route and it all worked out well in the end of the day and we got where we were going and we managed to have a great day out in Toronto. Now the second part of the post today I want to talk about is a review of the Wendy's Baconator and Frosty. The Baconator was messy but it is always good when it is messy. The bacon had it's crispy bacon game and the way I like to have it.  Now when it came to the Frosty and I tried to drink it through a straw it just went half way then stuck so I ended up scooping it out with my straw which kind of stunk but it was really tough and half frozen so it was truly a frosty. I could of left it longer but I didn't bother. I'd give the burger a 5/5 and a generous 3 out of 5 for the frosty.

We got back to Union Station and headed home. I was really out of it most of the way home and very quiet as I was extremely tired and I fell asleep after dinner all the way to 2 am and up the rest of the night but napped this morning. Tonight will be about me going to bed on time and getting the Power Rangers podcast done before Saturday which I am getting closer and closer to finishing up. Yesterday was fun and in the end there is still work to be done before Sunday before the more fun begins the actually recording of the episode. Either way I definitely think both Eric and I had a great day and a stress reliever from everyday life in general.

Trip To St. Micheal's Cathedral & Lakefront In Toronto

I went to St. Micheal's Cathedral for Mass, hence I was on and off social which today I am once again back in Toronto for a complete different thing and it will be with my friend Eric this time around. Anyways getting into Toronto, we had to re-route ourselves due to the Don Valley Parkway was closed which was just our luck that the Parkway aka the Parking Lot as it is always called technically. We had to go along Kingston Road to get into that which was the worst idea ever. Why you ask? Well we were stuck in traffic for quite some time and by the time we got to the church/cathedral it was almost half way through the Mass but better late then never. It was beyond our control really, everyone I think was taking the side roads due to the Don Valley was shutdown. Either way we made it in time for the Sermon. Anyways after I thought we were going to straight home which I had plans to actually work yesterday afternoon on the Power Rangers Podcast as I am a now less then a week from recording and really need to get the job done so I am waiting till tomorrow and I know it is last minute procrastination but I will get it down as the amount of pages is dwindling and I was up most of the night last night as I went to bed early and had the extra time to get things done as by the time you are reading this, I am back into Toronto. I did work on it a tad bit on the Power Rangers Podcast a bit this morning but that's besides the point of today's post.

Anyways, back to the trip not rambling about my workload we decided from there to take the subway where we were down to the lake and we originally were planning on going for a ferry ride there and back but due to the lineup being so long we decided to walk along the waterfront, get a drink and enjoy looking at the Ferry boats which all of em were running yesterday. Also a lot of the cruise boats were out and about. Also we noticed with all the rain that the water levels were up and the wooden walk way was pretty much under water and stairs to a small look out was underwater so there was a lot of areas flooded and made me wonder how the Toronto Islands were this year as the island was pretty much shutdown as there was residents that live on Ward's had to deal with the flood last year and wonder if they were affected this year at all. I don't think that all the ferry's would be running just the one, Ongaria would be the only one running so I am guessing everything was fine on the island and it was a busy one.  Also I almost forgot the Jays were playing and winning and the dome still closed as they have been doing work to the dome so they haven't had it open yet but I think they said sometime in early June.  It was a fun day and looked forward to Toronto with Eric, so day 2 of being in Toronto is today and will have a blog about it tomorrow. Also Tuesday, I want to talk about the Raptors winning the Eastern Conference Finals and now moving on to the NBA Finals for the first time in the history of the Franchise on Tuesday.
