Monk TV Show Review

I wanted to take some time in today's post to review the TV Series "Monk." The show is a detective series where a Detective with OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder) who has been given a 419 a Discharge from the Police Force trying to earn his badge back which he does towards the end of the series. Anyways there are it's moments with Sharona threatening to quit all the time or the little comments Monk would say to her just made it 100 times a lot better as I got into it. Especially when Sharona said damn it I hate this car, damn it, damn it. Monk saying why don't you say damn it again. Or the bickering between him and Harold Crenshaw telling each other to go to hell which is hilarious and has happened on 3 occasions, once during the election episode where Natalie was trying to get on the School Board, the other time twice during the episode with the Frisco Fly who was Harold himself at the start at Dr. Kroger's Office and the other on the rooftop towards the end of the episode.

What I am trying to say is, this movie, yes is serious but there are funny parts in the movie and it is really a great show and so happy that Eric actually introduced me to the series and I always go back to watch the odd episode here and there and recently did a binge of the series few months ago and have since finished that series. I highly recommend it if your into solving crimes. I give this series a definite 20 out of 10, it exceeds my expectations to not just give it a 10 out of ten but a 20 out of ten as it's an awesome series and I really enjoy the series. That is my post for today and I will have an update for you guys tomorrow on Power Rangers Collaboration Podcast and the preparation for SPD Podcast.

Supergirl Season 4 & 5 Review!

I know I delayed the next two reviews for Supergirl and the reason was I wasn't ready to watch 4 & 5 but since being stuck in Isolation for this long I have had to actually had the time to sit down and watch it. Now in this review I will be getting into the review I am covering both Seasons 4 & 5. First Season 4. It picks back up where you see Supergirl aka Kara already in action. I really found Season 4 much enjoyable and the addition of Nia Nal as another Superheroine part of the fight against evil. I know this was the last season with James in it as he leaves the show entirely and I believe he moves back where Superman is in one of the episodes. Also we see Supergirl in a coma and this guy Ben become a super pain and I admit I did not like him whatsoever during that season. Also the storyline of the Children of Liberty sort of made me feel like this was getting a bit strange. However don't get me wrong, the first half was good but then it got strange for me but that hook drew me in to the end of the season hence I watched the entire season from start to finish and quite quickly mind you.

Season 5, this is where things got a bit stranger for me in my perspective. Brainy acting really odd, breaking up with Nia Nal, Bat Woman showing up was a neat mix actually. Lex Luthor being killed off the show then returning?!  Them being in two different types of worlds, I really did not understand and that's OK. Also I feel like the entire story about the VR (Virtual Reality) I did not understand whatsoever till the end of the season which leaves off a positive note they next person they are going after is Lex once again. I did not like Miss Teschmacher that much but there is going to be characters you will love and hate in a show and that's honestly OK to feel this way. The positive things I'd like to add is the return of Mon-el and also the return our nerdy character Winn and to be honest I was so happy to see some old faces return as a guest appearance. Now one last thing I wanna add was the funny moment where there was more then one Brainy and they all said your under arrest. There was a female Brainy as well which made the situation quite hilarious if you ask me. Either way I will be watching Season 6 of Supergirl as it is the final season and I wanna see how this series end and if they capture Lex or not.

Animaniacs Reboot 2020 Review

I can say this about the entire reboot, I liked it a bit but it is not the same as the original series I knew and love growing up. I just wasn't pleased the fact it only had Animaniacs, Yakko, Wakko and Dot and also Pinky and The Brain. Nothing else no Slappy the squirrel, the 3 Pigeons brothers were some of the original cast. Yes they showed up but non speaking parts but that is pretty much it.  The excessive singing was a little much and some of the storyline I just get at some point. However I wanna focus on some of the positive side of things. The Pinky and The Brain intro had some pretty wicked new graphics for the intro and a lot different then the original series from 93 - 95 or 96 when it first was out, meaning the original series. That is the only thing I can say positive as I really wish they'd bring back a ton of different portions, the 3 pigeons, good idea, bad idea, Slappy the Squirrel and if I remember correctly.

Anyways not all the actors could be still living or they could not be acting or moved on to other projects and maybe why they did not put as much as they had before. Who knows but I just did not feel like it would get my approval rating for this time around and I remember this series growing up as a child or in my childhood. Just wish they could of added more then just Wakko, Yakko and Dot, Pinky and The Brain. Would of been nice to see a mix of what they had. Maybe they were actually looking at new ideas perhaps? You just do not know what they are thinking really but in the positive side of things, it was really nice to see something from my childhood to come back and my niece and nephew get an idea what I grew up with as they were the ones that mentioned this reboot to me. I managed to get through all 13 episodes but was hard towards the end but still glad I got to see this reboot. Now would they do another season? Guess time will tell if they decide to do another one in the very nearby future.

Fuller House Season 5 Review! (Warning Some Spoilers Ahead)

I know I was tweeting about this at the end of the week but I wanted to do this review. Season was good and there was a ton of stuff from the past they brought up and I wanna talk about it on today's blog post. First thing I wanna say is Stephanie driving Joey's car into the damn window into the kitchen AGAIN! Talk about major deja vu from the original series, Full House. The next thing is the return of the character Derek who was best friends with Michelle as we know Michelle's character did not return to the series this time around which honestly it all worked out without the Olsen twins returning this season. Yes I was disappointed but still worked out either way. Also the return of the character Dwayne which yes he was the character always said "whatever" which was a well known line he use to say in the show. Also Vicki Larson returned so that really got me excited actually to see old characters resurface or return to the show. This season brought a lot of nostalgia from the Full House Series in the later 80's into the later 90's.

Now the review side of things, well I really enjoyed this season and it is truly sad that the series is now finished but I really enjoyed it and the fact that they added in a throwback into this season with it being the last season they did really made things interesting. So I would definitely give this season an 9 out of 10 which is a good rating for a season but wish Netflix didn't have to cancel the series but it is what it is. However I can always buy the DVD's and rewatch the entire series. However another good season and they sure went out with a bang at the end and I was most impressed with the way they ended the series. However the way they ended it kind of leaves things to maybe another reboot? However I do not think there will be a reboot right now, nor a reboot in the very nearby future. If they did do one it would have to do with the kids both Kimmy's and DJ's kids but would be many years down the road for this to happen but this may be beyond my time if it did happen.

Super Girl (Season 3) TV Show Review

Here is my Season 3 review of Super Girl and trust me not my last as I am darn well hooked still for some odd reason.I will get into that as you guys keep on reading on this post today. Now I know this season we saw no more Cat Grant but on the TV at the start of the season but I thought CatCo Worldwide Media was sold but then again Lena Luther bought it and James was like the CEO or the one that runs things in the office. Also saw the departure of Mon-El but of course Eric told me I could expect him back and boy he was right! Also when he came back his wife came back to the present day with him to help the DEO so it made for quite an interesting duo. Also Brainy aka Brainiac was a big help to them during the season. Also the 3 world enemies or whatever they were as this season was very recent as I just finished it yesterday actually but it slipped my mind. Well Pestilince was quite a pest and also Reign which I guessed right that Sam was Reign from the very start when they introduced her in the season. Also how they fought to get Sam back which they did and Reign returning one last time before she was killed at the end. Also we saw J'onn J'onn step down as the Director of the DEO and also Alex became the new director of the DEO. Also Winn left for the future with Mon-El and his wife. Oh I almost forgot to say I thought Kara's mom and dad died when Kryton exploded but she survived and on a planet.

That is a small summary, of some of my favorite moments in the season and I definitely give this season another 10 out of 10 because it was full of action pack. Yes there was some really odd parts to the season but I am getting use to odd ends and outs of the show but still really enjoy it. Now the ending has given me that hook to continue and originally and I admit to saying it out of my mouth to my mom that I wasn't going to continue on with the series but hey I am hooked and I am going to continue on with the show even if it does get a bit odd. I am very fair with giving TV Shows a fair chance and I am usually like this where I am able to give it a shot. Either way another great season and now taking a bit of a break for a while so I can get Power Rangers Time Force going for another collaboration podcast in June which has priority right now. Don't worry probably by the fall I will start the 4th and 5th season and get caught up for the 6th season if they decide to do a 6th season. I get right through em very quickly but maybe by August I will be into Season 4 then followed by Season 5 but I shouldn't get too ahead of myself honestly.

Super Girl, Season 2 Review

So I have been holding this off almost an entire week but here is my thoughts on Season 2 of Supergirl. I have my thoughts on this season of Super Girl and I kind of started to sense Cat the Media Mogul of CatCo was on her way out and James was going to take over.  It was honestly another good season and I didn't know the actor who played Mon-El is married to Melissa Benoist who plays Kara Danvers aka Super Girl. That I found out by researching it online. Anyways the one enemy, Live Wire was one weird character but seems to be a memorable one that's for sure. I love the fact they still did the intro up to the 3rd Season of the show which I will get to in another post which is for another day. The show still shows the same action pack as always and always exciting to watch and the more I watch, the more I am hooked even more. Now the end of the season was exciting not just cause Superman shows up at the end (Sorry spoilers to those who never seen the show.) Winn finally joining the DEO was really neat to see as he is after all a computer nerd in the show and knows a lot of things. Live Wire, her character is quite an interesting character that's for sure.

Anyways I will give this season a 10 out of 10 once again and excited to do the 3rd review this weekend maybe Friday but again it will depend when I finish season 3 of Supergirl this week and see how things go but the 3rd season will be the most important thing to do right now before I start working on Power Rangers Time Force, but you guys know I will probably watch Season 4 but my mom told me it gets really weird but either way I still enjoy this and going to give it a shot one way or another. I don't mind the weirdness of some of the episodes but I am more for the action which is one of the reasons I do enjoy the show. However I will eventually catch up and get up to speed on things. Anyways I hope you enjoyed some of the highlights and my thoughts on the season and look forward to reviewing season 3 sometime this week or during the weekend.

What Do I Think of Super Girl, Season 1?

For those who didn't know I have been watching Super Girl thanks to my mom and Eric got me into those. However, I got right into them from the get go and happy to say I really have enjoyed this first season. Right now I am into the second season of the series and cannot wait to do another post for it. Now I had mixed feelings about the character Cat Grant of Catco but she grew on me pretty fast during the series. However that is short lived with the second season but that is another post for another time. Anyways, I was pretty excited to see Superman at the start but he wasn't remotely involved till the 2nd season but I will get to that another time. This show really reminds me of characters of the TV Series Superman which we know they are planning to do a Superman and Lois Lane series down the road.  The music or sorry, the theme song to Super Girl has a catchy tune to it. Now back to the series, its is very, very exciting as a series, so much action and sometimes confusing what is going on but either way I do understand after the fact.

One thing that bothers me is the fact they go to be continued, however I have to realize that I borrowed the first 3 seasons of the show from Eric and I have the ability to actually watch them back to to back without stopping. Now season 4 is not out on DVD yet but I will get to watch it soon enough I am sure. Again we are getting way off topic honestly. Season 1 was really, really good and I enjoyed the first season. Now I get to work on Season 2 which I should be done this week and I will have another season review ready for you guys to read. I will give this season a 10 out of 10 as I really enjoyed the action from start to finish and honestly it makes want to watch more. I hope you enjoyed this little review, I know I was all over the place but hey it's really my first TV Review on here and I know there will be more down the road.
