Han Solo Story-- Star Wars Movie Review

Yesterday morning, I couldn't sleep so I decided to watch Han Solo Story for the very first time as I got it back in Christmas. My brother said it was OK, but I found it alright. It was good, it kind of gave me the story of when Han and Chewie met and also getting to know how Han and Lando met so that was cool too. It kind of answered a lot of questions I had how the two knew each other prior to the Empire Strikes Back aka Episode # 5.  Also I noticed they used older music from previous movies was really cool and mind you this movie took place between Episode 3 and Episode 4 along with Rogue One as well. This definitely told a story and the actor who played Han did a really good job. I'm sure he got tips from Harrison Ford before the filming begun.

The movie itself will not get a full 10 out of 10 but I am going to be fair with my assessment of this movie. It wasn't bad and it wasn't excellent but I am giving the movie 7 out of 10 which is a 70% if you put in a percentage. Mind you this is the first time I have seen this movie as I haven't had the time to watch this movie. Either way it wasn't boring it was interesting enough for me to keep on watching right through. I'd watch it again in the very nearby future. If you guys enjoyed this kind of movie review let me know in the comments below and I think I am going to try and do one every week or two depending if there is a new movie I have not watched. Maybe 2 weeks from now I will do a Horror Movie or something maybe a review on The Shining which was a great movie back in the day. I will review that one next week.

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker Review (With Spoilers)

Now that it has been a few weeks since the Rise of Skywalker came out, I think it is time for me to write a spoiler version of Star Wars: Rise of Skywalker. Now if you haven't seen the movie, please do not read further as this post does contain spoilers.  You cannot say I warned you guys on this because I did. Anyways to the post:

As you know I did do a non spoiler version of the post but this contains things from the movie. There is a few neat things I wanna talk about and the first one is the voice of Vader popped up there when you heard the voice of the Emperor you also hear the voice of Darth Vader which is voiced by the one and only James Earl Jones. Also an appearance of Harrison Ford as Han Solo which my thoughts was how can get come back? But he could of been one with the force or something like that. Also the bickering between Threepio and R2-D2 that brought back a ton of nostalgia in the original movies and nothing wrong with that whatsoever. Also I may as say this as well when they started playing the "Imperial March" I had that chill down my spine as it honestly brought back a ton of memories from the original trilogy not the prequels but Episode 4, 5 & 6 that is from 1977 up to 1983. I still to this day question how on earth the Emperor came back as he fell down that shaft and surprised but what I found out is he created a wormhole to Hexigal where he hiding. Also the machine he was hooked up was used to keep his form together. If he wasn't hooked up to that machine he'd disintegrate to nothing. Now the way the Princess was written out of the series was obviously she died in the movie sorry but this is indeed a spoiler post today. Now the whole Chewbacca dying in the shuttle I was like heck no this isn't happening especially later on Leia passes away that would be 2 but do not forget Kylo also dies so that would of made 3 in total but was only 2 as Chewie was fine and honestly I am a big Chewbacca fan to be honest.

So the movie as I said in my original post that I did still has a 10 out of 10 and was worth almost 3 hours worth of a movie as people said it was almost an 3 hour movie which that's OK as I enjoyed every moment of the movie. Now the end of the movie with Rey burying the two lightsabres, one being Princess Leia's light saber which I didn't realize she had one which I am sure there is more to that story and maybe something they can do is a side thing between Episode 6 and 7 they could definitely do something but again it would of been difficult as Carrie Fisher has passed away and Mark Hamill is now older so that can be a bit more difficult but with CGI anything is possible. However back to what I was saying that Rey took something out in a cloth which was a new lightsaber which I think she probably built at some point. Either way that is my spoiler post, I hope you enjoyed me bantering on about the movie and this probably was more interesting then the non spoiler post. I will see you guys in the next post tomorrow!

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker Movie Review! (No Spoilers!)

Yesterday I had the pleasure to go and see Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker or also known as EP # 9 of the 3rd trilogy out of the series that they have done 1977. Now as the title says, I promise to not give any spoilers but I can say it really answers everything I had in the back of my mind for the past so many months now. I can say this movie has a bit of stuff from Episodes 4, 5 & 6 I can say again I will not go into full spoilers but it answers a lot especially with the trailer with the Emperor's laugh now I understand the entire storyline and how it entirely went. This is clearly hard for me to write... lol... It is so difficult to not spoil the entire movie. I can say yes there is something with the emperor as you will see it once you see the movie. There was parts I was completely shocked on and again not going to say what as this movie has only been out 2 days and maybe by mid January I will do a spoiler post for you guys. I remember there was times Larry or I would say something quietly to each other about the movie and like I said I promise to do a more spoiler version of the movie mid January. The look on Larry's face was quite interesting or his one comment of "Didn't see that happening!" and yes I am not going to specify what it was either at this moment.

I am not going to make this a overly a long post but movie wise the movie was exciting a long of action and fight scenes in it. I really enjoyed it and honestly I think I enjoyed this movie more then the last 2 but that is honestly my opinion and you guys may have a different opinion on this movie but if you haven't seen it and a very big Star Wars fan I highly recommend to go and see it. I got from Larry's mom a Darth Vader toy when you press on his chest piece he starts to breath like back at the end of Ep 3 in Ep 4, 5 & 6. Now we got a medium popcorn with a medium soft drink. I was shocked what the theater looked like after all the renovations it went through with the nice reclining seats it had in it so we definitely went comfortable for the movie this year. Anyways in conclusion if you are a big Star Wars fan, I highly recommend to see this movie as you will not be disappointed at all. Finally I am sorry this is late with the holidays coming, I am very busy with the family stuff going on and I promise you guys I will do a post on time tomorrow at the usual 12 pm EST.

Trying A Star Wars Mod For Minecraft!

While spending time with my niece and nephew we discovered  mod for Minecraft called Tatooine. Now what is Tatooine? It is  a planet where Luke Skywalker and also Anakin Skywalker from Star Wars movies. Now mind you I just started this world and there is so much more to discover but it is cool as I found green and blue crystals to make  a light saber. I haven't gotten this far and I need to start building a home for myself, get a sustainable food source in the game in order to go under the ground and get the items I need to make a lightsaber and a proper pick axe.  Pretty much I am back to the basics right now. I really wouldn't know what the different kinds of ores and stuff I would find underground but I suspect it is indeed the same, maybe some different ores too but I will find out when I decide to start digging down. I do not plan on making a overly big mansion as I do not know how long I am going to play this game as I am planning a different kind of world down the road as well.

The difference in this world there are sheep that are a very odd color but still have the usual bah from them and there is normal sheep for building a bed too which is cool. There is this creature I fought and it wasn't as easy as I thought as I died but came back and killed it. The zombies were neat as they sound like the Tuskin Raiders from the movie itself. I haven't ran into or seen creepers or skelton's yet so I cannot tell you what they look like. Also there are just random people like villager like people just walking around the entire world which is cool. Yes I mentioned green and blue crystals which can be found basically on the ground anywhere in the world and like I said it is used for lightsabers.  Either way or, I am excited to play this mini mod to get into playing modded minecraft a  bit but this is only temporary as I am getting ready to do a  modded world with a space age mod which will indeed take some time to get prepared for space but least I got a world to play for now but I do not think it will be a long playthrough of this mod as I am not sure what I can outside of what I know but I know in time I will figure it out but the long game, I am planning on the space mod but this is just the start for me.

Favorite Moments With C3-PO In The Star Wars Trilogy...

I noticed something in Star Wars Movies, quite often C3-PO the lovable protocol droid in the movies gets blown to pieces and I will talk about it. Don't get me wrong every time this happens, I just shake my head and laugh as I got use to C3-PO's craziness. I will even highlight some of the moment's in the movie I enjoyed:

1.  C3-PO meeting R2-D2 for the first time and R2 said he's naked, his part's are showing and R2's beeping sounds in a laugh.

2. Threepio head and bottom detached and his head re attached to a battle droid which we all know are not the strongest in the movies technically. Battle droid head was put on his body so you can imagine what it looks like if you have not seen the movies, but I am sure majority of you guys have.

3. He was shooting at his own Allies as it re-programmed him to be evil and especially what he said and then saying what did I say? Ha ha, that never gets old. He has to realize the lower half of his body is a droid and his head, well it's himself.

4. His body got hit in the line of fire and his head detached and R2-D2 used his magnet and dragged his head across the ground and of course his weird sense humor saying "This is such a drag." Technically it is as his head is being dragged across the dirt of the complex he was in during that battle.

5. Finally, I don't think there was much that happened in A New Hope however in Empire Strikes Back, he goes into a room in Cloud City and gets blasted into pieces. Chewie repairs him but puts his head on backwards, ha-ha & his legs were repaired by R2-D2 minus the bottom half of the one leg as R2-D2 fixed the Hyper Drive and poor Threepio goes flying... lol

Seems like every movie or at least every second movie he gets himself into trouble but don't forget him and R2-D2 are a dynamic duo and the comedic relief in the movies. I do not think there was a moment in Ep 7 & 8 that was funny with those two. They were in several scenes that is it but maybe Ep # 9 will have em in it more, never know but I am now excited for Episode # 9 at the end of this year and it will be a great movie as I have heard rumors like I have spoken about before on this blog.

I Am Looking Forward To Star Wars: Episode 9!

I can officially say this, I am excited for Star Wars Episode 9. Yes it is the year Star Wars is coming out and I just cannot wait for it to come out. When will it will be out? Not sure when, probably out in December but either way it is going to be an exciting year. I know I have heard rumors about some things which I will kind of talk about it. I heard rumors Hayden Christensen is rumored to come back as Anakin Skywalker force ghost. There was rumors Ewan Mcgregor was to revise his role as Obi Wan. Not only that I think it is confirmed that Mark Hamill is confirmed to be a Force Ghost and I found this out from Larry but it is confirmed as you can Google it as it is there and there are plenty of articles out there but I looked it up before writing today's post.

Why am I excited for Star Wars? Well besides the fact I am a big Star Wars fan, it feels like it's been a long time since a movie came out and honestly I am wondering where the story line will go after the death of Luke Skywalker as we saw in Episode # 8: The Last Jedi. The questions that I even asked after the movie, what is happening to Luke Skywalker's Lightsaber that fell when he passed in the movie. I mean his robe was on the rock and I am sure somewhere there is his lightsaber sits there. Maybe Rey would get it? Never know! I however found out from Larry that Rey has a new lightsaber and it's a different color and I will not spoil the color as I am not about that spoilerino kind of game. Anyways there is a lot of questions to ask and I with the Supreme leader of the First Order Snoke, I wonder what Kylo Ren will do without the leader. I wonder if he will become the next leader of the First Order? This is why I am very excited for the movie coming out to find out what is next for the movie.

Finally I know I realize this is the last movie in the trilogy but I am sure they are planning on an Episode 10 but we never know what the Producers are thinking but I got that very odd feeling there will be more movies coming. I thought I heard a few years ago they were planning up to Episode # 12 but never know. All we know is Kylo Ren is still there and unless the character dies or gets turned back to the good side like Vader did in Episode 6. Don't forget there will be other villains in the movie there was not just Vader or Kylo Ren, there was Darth Maul, Count Dooku before all of that so there is plenty of villains that they could add if they indeed continue on into an Episode # 10 and on. I shouldn't get that far but either way I am excited for Episode 9 and to seeing the movie with Larry as we are planning to see the movie this year and excited to find out the name of the movie as well!

Star Wars: The Last Jedi (With Spoilers)

First of all, I know I covered this, however I went without spoilers of the movie and it's been a month since the movie came out and I think I am in the clear to make more observations on the movie at this point of time with it being a month and I am pretty sure everyone has seen the new Star Wars Movies.

Now, I wasn't expecting  a lot of things, like I said in my first impressions post like I thought Leia was going to die when Kylo Ren shot those missiles from his Tie Fighter which mind you Darth Vader has the same similar fighter like Kylo had in the recent movie and that was a comparison I noticed  between the original 3 movies to the ones after Episode 6. The next thing that I thought was the entire Luke Skywalker thing, when he fought Kylo Ren, I thought he actually appeared at that planet so I didn't know it was a hologram of Luke from another planet. Now the part of him disappearing to the point where there was nothing but his robes left as you know that was what happened to Obi Wan Kenobi back in Episode # 4 A New Hope.  I didn't think he made himself this mentally exhausted to a point of him dying. I was like ok, what the heck just happened in the movie.

Another thing was I saw the AT AT's the walkers that we saw in Episode # 5 The Empire Strikes Back which is the first time we have seen since the 5th Episode in the Star Wars Trilogy. There was a lot of what the heck moments during the movie, it is hard to remember every moment. There are theories she could of been family from another character as she isn't related ton Emperor Palatine at all. Also another question I have is how are they going to write off Leia's character as we all know Carrie Fisher passed away a year ago back in December and I heard rumors they will use older footage from the past, but not sure how that will be used which would be hard. They cant really use footage from her back in Episodes 4 - 6 unless CGI is used and CGI stands for Computer-generated imagery which actually used for the younger version of Leia and also Grand Moth Tarkin in Star Wars: Rogue One, so anything is possible and can happen in Episode 9 in 2019.

Have a great Afternoon!

Star Wars: The Last Jedi (No SPOILERS!)

Well today, I got to see Star Wars: The Last Jedi and on 3 hours of sleep! All I am going to say it was an amazing movie, lived up more to my exception in this movie, like I said to Larry, there was theories I heard went right out the door but like the title of this blog says this particular NO Spoilers and I tend to keep this blog for today, as I said I will be doing a spoilers blog in the middle of January/Late January.

The start of the movie was so action packed, it drew me in right away and I was hooked right through the movie. Of course there was moments in the movie that I was like what? I don't understand, but as the movie went on, it got better and it became very, very clear what was going on, again, I do not wanna spoil the movie. I found this movie to be the best movie out of The Force Awakens and the Last Jedi in the new trilogy but we don't know how EP # 9 will be. I wasn't expecting the ending to be what it was, I think my jaw dropped to the floor of the theater at the end of the movie, I didn't even see that was going to happen and I was like oh crap. I was completely blindsided to see that one scene happen.

The theories I had about Rey being family to Obi Wan Kenobi or The former Emperor went out the door. Now let's talk about the trailer which I am sure you all have seen by now, with Leia and a beam coming her way to the ship, I was thrown off by that completely and I thought I that is how she died and it wasn't what I thought when I saw the trailer initially the first time around, I will talk more about that in the New Year with spoilers. I wasn't expecting the movie to be this good, but I was like wow! What a movie, I can't wait for the next movie in 2019, it is now the waiting game and I am merely looking forward to the next Star Wars Movie in 2019, but also looking forward to the story about Han Solo next year. Finally overall the movie was so amazing, wish I was able to give it beyond 10 out of 10 stars, I was not expecting the movie to be this good in my honest opinion. You can say my expectations were not as high as I expected but myself and Larry did enjoy this movie and we are excited for the next movie in the trilogy in 2019.

Movie's I'd Like To See!

There are movies that have come out in the theaters or have been out of theater and close to or on DVD or Blueray. There is movie's I've missed seeing at the theater that with friends but hope they or myself get the movie on DVD so I can see the movie and you never know I may review the movie on here on my blog. So without further, here is my list of "movies" I would like to see either in the theater or on DVD that was out this year in the theaters that I never got to see in the Theaters:

1) Power Rangers: The Movie (2017) I am very, very excited to see them bring back some of the original routes from the original series Mighty Morphin Power Rangers back in the early years, meaning the 1990's. I was originally going to plan on seeing the movie with my friend and former member of the Chris B On The Web Team Larry. But we were a little late and was around the week just before Easter Sunday we spoke about it and there was not many options to see the movie only if I remember 1 or 2 days in the week it was being shown. If we planned it better, most likely we would of seen the movie.

2) The second movie that is on my list and is already out as I am writing this blog post and that movie would be Pirates of The Caribbean Dead Men No Tales which my parents and I are planning on seeing it or waiting until it comes out on DVD. But either way it has been a few years since the last movie, 6 years since the last one came out actually. The last one came out in 2011,  so it has been a while since the last movie but I believe they took a break from it but it is once again exciting to see the next installment of the movie.

3) Obviously the last but my favorite for last in my top 3 movies I wanna see this year is Star Wars: The Last Jedi, also known as Star Wars Episode # 8! Ever since seeing Star Wars: Rogue One, I have definitely been hyped up for this upcoming movie this year and really exciting where the story line continues on since we last left off where Rey came up the hill and saw Luke, it will be interesting to see the continuation of the story.

That is my list of movies I'd like to see this year and it isn't overly a big list that I have but I really want to see the movies and once again very very excited to see all 3 movies. I know for Star Wars I am probably going to be with Larry again as we have been doing for the last 2 years of the Star Wars trilogy but this is a great year for action pack movies!

Have a great Monday!
