Stress!

            Stress is not a good feeling to have honestly. It messes with your head and sometimes it makes you want to just give up and not give a damn about what you love to do. In this blog today I will be talking about stress and also what you can do when you are stressed out like I have been for the last 11 months since leaving YouTube. 

           So one thing that can get you stressed out is getting over worked, doing too many things at once and I had that problem last year when I was still on YouTube I over worked myself and that isn't good, you have panic attacks, you end up wanting to say is this worth it anymore? You get too much work to do to the point you just don't want to do it anymore, you just want to give up on what you love to do. Going back to the post yesterday if you are stressed out and not feeling you are into this anymore, just follow your heart and do what makes you happy and that doesn't stress you out, like for me YouTube just became a chore each and everyday and I was getting stressed out, not only that but my team getting on my nerves and being disrespectful got to me I just had it with the team situation. Also the fact my channel kind of died and lost views after The Entertainment Man ended kind of put me into a downward spiral. These are a good prime example of a stressful situation that isn't a good thing to have.

             Stress or having stress isn't healthy to have, especially on a daily basis and you need to have a way to deal with the stress. One way to deal with the stress is to put the most important task on the top of the list, here is an example below:

                  1. Blog post
                2. Podcast

                And so forth that is a small example that is one way to deal with the stress. Also you can utilize your calendar whether it is a digital version of a calendar on Google or wherever you would like online but also you can use your physical calendar on your desk to schedule the tasks you have or if you got appointments like I always have appointments to go to every week, I am always out and about at appointments on a regular basis and I always bring my calendar with me in my portfolio book to book the next appointment so I recommend to do the same so this way you can book the next appointment and you go into your calendar and see, oh I have another appointment 2 weeks this day or next week, this way you do not forget or I have to do this on this set day and make sure its done and ready for the due date you pick. There is many ways to deal with stress, if it is just very, very overwhelming take a break for a few hours or for the day and deal with it the next day which I will get into taking a break in a future blog post in the upcoming days but sometimes you just need to decompress and I did that after Big Brother Canada finished it's 5th season, took the entire weekend off and went on a mini break. Also if you are stressed out go to a dollar store and buy a stress ball and slowly not fast squeeze trust me I've done it and tried it and it has helped but stupid me I lost the stress ball and gotta find it or get a new one. Never Giving Up & Following Your Heart!

                   No matter how much you are hated for the content or whatever you are doing out there you don't let anyone put you down whatsoever, don't let anyone get to you, like the saying goes, haters will hate. If you are on social media the best thing is to block the "haters" and not worry about them anymore. Also if you own a website like I own and run my own website: chrisbontheweb.com and it has a feature like I have to block IP Addresses, that is the best tool to have. I can share that I do got an counter on my website but you guys cannot see it whatsoever but it is on the site in the website html within the site. But anyway of security of your website helps you in any way, shape or form. Now even if things are going bad for example for me YouTube views going down or my team leaving me one by one, doesn't mean it is time to give up. Perhaps maybe time to change things up, for example I gave up YouTube because of my team decided to quit and turn their backs on me which I am now no longer upset or mad with them at this point but it was in great timing as YouTube was changing, the terms of service changed and I am sure tons of my old content would of been demonetized for some of the videos had language. So moving to blogging and podcasts was the best move I ever made as I have seen success with this podcast and planning to expand it in the future or bring back Team Chris B On The Web in the nearby future. You see I kept on trying and not giving up. I wasn't going to leave poor Chris B On The Web & chrisbontheweb.com to just sit empty and not in use anymore, someway, somehow I figured out what to put on the website in the way of content. 


                   Now as for following your heart, my heart told me it wasn't into YouTube anymore, I think I just grew out of the platform, did it for 10 years and didn't see much success in it hence I made the quickest and quietest exit out of any YouTuber, no questions ask, I just left deleted the channel and I should of stored the episodes on my computer for keep sake so I declared it ended after 4 seasons with possibility of Lost Episodes. So you see there I felt like I have completed a good solid run on YouTube and connected with tons of other YouTuber's and felt like The Entertainment Man Talk Show was ready to end it's run with it's 75 episodes and plus my team fell apart so myself & Justin came off the YouTube platform and the rest is written I began podcasting after a summer break as I felt it is the new thing on TV these days and there are tons of Reality TV so I followed my heart with that. Also my blogging took off with people re-tweeting and liking my posts when I put up the blog posts everyday or every second day, same goes with the podcast I am currently doing, I followed my heart to what I thought felt right and that will work for myself and Chris B On The Web & ChrisBOnTheWeb.com and what will be successful and not fail, but I'm not saying the others things I did wasn't successful, they were but I just got tired and part of following your heart, sometimes making tough decisions are a big part of it. I know that from dealing with it for almost the last year of did I make the right decision but now I know I did but when you follow your heart it takes time to re-grow what you love to do, so you have to be very patient to let things re-grow your passion and trust me it is very very worth it!

Movie's I'd Like To See!

                 There are movies that have come out in the theaters or have been out of theater and close to or on DVD or Blueray. There is movie's I've missed seeing at the theater that with friends but hope they or myself get the movie on DVD so I can see the movie and you never know I may review the movie on here on my blog. So without further, here is my list of "movies" I would like to see either in the theater or on DVD that was out this year in the theaters that I never got to see in the Theaters:

1) Power Rangers: The Movie (2017) I am very, very excited to see them bring back some of the original routes from the original series Mighty Morphin Power Rangers back in the early years, meaning the 1990's. I was originally going to plan on seeing the movie with my friend and former member of the Chris B On The Web Team Larry. But we were a little late and was around the week just before Easter Sunday we spoke about it and there was not many options to see the movie only if I remember 1 or 2 days in the week it was being shown. If we planned it better, most likely we would of seen the movie. 

2) The second movie that is on my list and is already out as I am writing this blog post and that movie would be Pirates of The Caribbean Dead Men No Tales which my parents and I are planning on seeing it or waiting until it comes out on DVD. But either way it has been a few years since the last movie, 6 years since the last one came out actually. The last one came out in 2011,  so it has been a while since the last movie but I believe they took a break from it but it is once again exciting to see the next installment of the movie.

3) Obviously the last but my favorite for last in my top 3 movies I wanna see this year is Star Wars: The Last Jedi, also known as Star Wars Episode # 8! Ever since seeing Star Wars: Rogue One, I have definitely been hyped up for this upcoming movie this year and really exciting where the story line continues on since we last left off where Rey came up the hill and saw Luke, it will be interesting to see the continuation of the story.

                 That is my list of movies I'd like to see this year and it isn't overly a big list that I have but I really want to see the movies and once again very very excited to see all 3 movies. I know for Star Wars I am probably going to be with Larry again as we have been doing for the last 2 years of the Star Wars trilogy but this is a great year for action pack movies!

Patience!

                I really never talked about this in the past on this blog, but I am today on this blog post. Sometimes when things are going very wrong for you, you gotta be patient and wait at the right time to make the right moves is a prime example, like now I am primarily doing Audio ONLY but down the line you never know if I will bring it back to Video platform again in the near future? You never know but right now the Audio ONLY has become a success from the get go, since September 22nd, 2016 when I took off on this podcast journey on Audio ONLY. Then building up to Stitcher that took patience after submitting to be on there, same with TuneIn.com but I got there and took nothing but patience for a response whether I was accepted into those platforms or not but I was, I managed to get onto that platform no problem at all and I have my patience to thank for that. Some people are patient at certain things and I admit I am not totally patient with everything and my team towards the end of the time I had a team left but they were kind of pushing it. 

               Now on that topic, it wasn't easy having a team even back in the old The Video Projects Team days I was patient to a point until my team decided to push my buttons that was where I drew the line with things then I would have to take appropriate action and deal with it accordingly. Even at the end of the run for Team Chris B On The Web patience was getting limited asking my team to do one simple thing over and over again and waiting months for something to be done that really ticked me off because I don't like to wait I'm a doer  not a waiter, I know that made no sense whatsoever.  Same with the suppose CBOTW Gamers Podcast I had a host lined up but waiting for them to get back onto Twitter and it took em 5 months and still never was done, if they never got suspended non of this would of happened and they would be underway to be hosting yet another great podcast on Chris B On The Web & ChrisBOnTheWeb.com

                 But now I am very patient and using my problem solving skills and deciding what works for me and what doesn't work for me and it has helped out so far and this is now my second week on my own, was like a couple of days before Big Brother Canada 5 finale came around. But I think I have started to become very patient with things and figuring out and problem solving and there is a lot of things I would like to fix and it will happen slowly but surely! The saying goes, patience is a virtue!

Post Team Chris B On The Web Days....

            Ever since I ended Team Chris B On The Web, things have been less stressful, not saying Justin M was a problem because he wasnt. He was one of the best Staff I had since Larry was on the team. He helped set me up to be on my own eventually and that time is now. I may be losing tons of followers on twitter but it happens. I have managed to get a game plan together this way I am setting myself up for success, not failure. I have done a decent job since then but have struggled a bit to maintain the followers and been stuck between 2680 to 2693 followers but i have been in that rut before a few times in the past too so I should be use to it.

              Also since being on my own I have been more consistant with posting up blog posts every second day which was my goal to get a post everyday or at the most every second day. I am slowly getting there bur it will take time just like fixing my podcast scheduling issue of being on time.

The Binding of Isaac Road To 100% Achievements!

                   Well I am getting more and more excited for The Binding of Isaac as I am now at 37% completed my achievements and on the road to 100% achievements and trust me once I get 100% I will be moving on to Re-Birth then once done that one I will be moving on to After Birth. I am merely really excited to be moving forward on Isaac quite quickly and that is what I do with my time recently is Isaac, Isaac, Isaac! Just trying to master Isaac and of course I learned a lot from playthrough's on YouTube has taught me a lot particularly one YouTuber and I have grown so much in this game and I am learning what the items are and what the items do and what items are not a good item especially like the tick being an item I do not want to get as it locks the trinket on the top left side of the screen. I realized the Nail is a good item if you get it at the right time which was what made me go all the way to the gold chest and win and unlock the quarter and Samson character which is the last of the characters I can unlock, well ok Blue Baby is the last one I will unlock but in time. I am pretty hyped up and the hype is so real right now and even tho I don't as far but I go far enough in the game but I went on a streak last week within two days apart I got so pumped up and excited to actually be going places on the game. It is only going to get better as I am knocking off achievements left right and center and it pumps me right up to get this far which now I will not give up whatsoever and I wanna get 100% achievements and move on to Re Birth then After birth! Those are on my list of games I would like to play right now and plan on getting it when I get close to 100% The price isn't bad actually so it wont be much to spend on Re Birth but I know it is pretty wicked! Another thing I have started to love is the Ipecac which is explosive shots which can be tricky especially with having it on homing shots so that makes it difficult but it you have plain Ipecac then you are good to go! That is my item of choice or the Fetus is the other item I like to use but that takes time to get use to it as well. The other items including orbitals like Sister Maggie, Brother Bobby, Little Chubby, Little Steve. Ghost Baby & Harlequin Baby which is a big help in Damage.  

                      So all of these will help me in long run and there are what I use mostly but I tried using the candle and it is pretty cool as well, but I have been more patient which has paid off to me completing achievements not just one at a time but 2 at a time which adds up the number of hours I've played which last time I checked it was 530 hours in total I have played Isaac! I am very proud of myself, keeping patient, taking breaks when I have to but keep on trucking through with it all!

Making Mistakes and Learning From Them!

                 Yesterday, I made the biggest mistake in the world that is 2 days ago well 2 days ago today, I went to Staples to get Justin's tag as he is now Alumni, got the tag laminated, however when it was done I left the store and I pulled out his tag to realize, I forgot to add Justin's name to the tag so I kind of spent $4.41 for no reason and I was pissed off at myself for doing something so simple for one of my former staff and yet I go and screw things up now... LOL! Typical me, I rushed out the door to not look or realize that the freakin tag was messed up without  me checking the entire work is correct before the lamination process so I was livid pissed with myself in the process but laughing at it now, 3 days later and I have definitely learned my lesson from this  and I am going to be checking all the odds and ends of the document before either duplicating it (photocopying) or getting an item laminated.

                  Now this is a big example, you have to check your work, just like math problems, you gotta make sure it all adds up or had the right information and relevant information that is to the topic you are talking about or in my case has the right information whether its a name tag or it is a flyer to promote yourself with you have to make sure spelling mistakes are not there and proper use of COMMA's, periods and also apostrophe's are used as well! You are only human to make the mistake but yes I know I spent $4.41 and it was a mistake and a half to go there and make the wrong choice to not even look at the tag but you cannot be perfect on a daily basis! 


                   So don't sweat the small stuff just learn from your mistake the first time around not the second or third time around. I have made a ton of mistakes in my time with Online Media and it is endless to name every item but a few besides my run to Staples is not sticking to Adam for the other Podcast then that other person, no names mentioned, trusting 3 people from The Video Projects Team from 2005, early 2009 and 2010. But again that is the only way you learn from your mistake, you gotta remember when I started all of this I was young at the age of 20 and I am currently 31 years of age now, so I have grown from the mistakes and even now I will mistakes and so will you guys as the saying goes and its probably the truth, you are getting older but you are getting wiser!

Standing Up For Yourself!

                 So in the last week, drama endured and I think I see where Justin was coming from with we should of stuck to Everything About Reality TV and not grow into a network and should of made the plan to stay Audio ONLY and that is exactly what I am planning on doing it. I am merely really happy on the Audio ONLY platforms currently. Anyways I was planning on bringing on a second Podcast, that's right a second Podcast! Yet I worked with the potential host for the last 5 months and haven't seen progress of them getting back onto Twitter plus I was trash talked which made me realize I do not need this kind of bullcrap, I don't need my team being disrespectful so I stood up for myself and Chris B On The Web and decided to go another direction which I am now a solo artist or podcaster and honestly I should of done that sooner once I departed from YouTube last year. Don't let anyone put you down and that is what I did with this situation.

                   Another instance of me standing up for myself is someone telling me nobody will listen to Everything About Reality TV with all the support in the last 8 months has been astonishing! Fans of Reality TV, other Podcasters such as one of my very first podcasts I ever listened to from the Stickam Days even  supports me! I am connected with these guys and they even wished me luck! Now does that show you nobody listens to my podcast nooooo, there are listeners and I know for a fact 6 subscribers on Podcasts.com & 2 followers or subscribers on TuneIn.com which tells you people do listen to it and if you follow me on Twitter you often see me post stuff up regards to the podcast with #EverythingAboutRealityTV #Podcast So I didn't let anyone put me down in that instance and wasn't just one person that put me down it was multiple people. 

                      So do not let anyone put you down, keep doing what you are passionate about and that is what I am doing to this day and I will be not tolerating it and if it happens a block will be put into place or an IP ban from my website chrisbontheweb.com. If people bug you block them if they constantly put you down. You do not need that hassle on a regular basis. Like the saying goes haters will hate and they are just haters not fans of yours.

TV Shows I Would Like To Watch Again or Watch An Entire Series!

                 There are a lot of show's I would like to re-watch and this blog post is committed to the TV Show's I would like to watch again and this is my post on the shows I would like to start to watch again!

               - Married With Children, watched at least 3 seasons of it but would like to watch it from start to finish.

               - The next show I would like to re-watch from start to finish is CSI, CSI NY, CSI Miami. Loved all 3 series through its runs on TV Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays!

               - Next on my list is Degrassi, havent watched the series in several years and would like to watch it once again! 

               - Who's The Boss, love the series and got into it through a channel in the 200's and seen pretty much a good majority of the series over the course of time.

               - Murder She Wrote, I love playing along with who I think who did it but half the time I am never right! LOL

                Despite my list being very small it is a small list but I would like to get to all of them eventually but don't forget CSI are 3 different series but this will keep me busy over the next year and it keeps me out of trouble. Sorry if this is a rather smaller blog then usual then it has been in the last while. Promise to have a longer post tomorrow.

Starting To Doubt....

                   I am usually pretty optimistic with things but recently in the last week with having nothing but website problems, yes chrisbontheweb.com has been down for the second time in a week and it's nothing to do with my provider where I bought the domain it is more along the line 000webhost the web builder I use to build ChrisBOnTheWeb.com on and trust me I have been looking for alternatives but there is one I would like to use but I would have to learn HTAccess and without Chance to guide me through it as hes ignored me on Twitter and stopped being active with Chris B On The Web, he has been no help currently and I do not know much about HTAccess currently. But getting an ideal idea how to do it slowly but going to do another test site to make sure it works fully before moving everything over to that provider. This would mean emails for my website that I use to use would be back in play and I would for now retire chrisbontheweb@yahoo.com however at this point I gotta be patient and if I cannot figure out HTAccess then I gotta deal with these server problems until renewal of the domain which is in November 2018 of next year.

              I know what your going to say it is frustrating and I hear you guys. Myself I am clearly frustrated with the lack of uptime this year, my site has been down more then has been up and running but I gotta work with what we have with currently and just deal with this minor 12 hour outage. Again I would like to thank you for your patience through this rough 12 hour downtime with the website.

Everything About Reality TV Summer 2017 Schedule (CONFIRMED!)

             So it is that time of the year, well 3 times a year I make this announcement on the Blog that for this upcoming Summer Season, now I wasn't going to do this till June 1st as I was planning on doing it a few weeks before the Summer Reality TV began but I am plain out too dang excited to announce this schedule! One thing that is different from this season and I am not putting down this schedule, I love the schedule but it has been hectic schedule this winter season, but worth all the stress and hard work put into the podcast. So without further ado here is the schedule for Summer 2017:

Wednesdays: 8 pm EDT: Amazing Race Canada 5 RECAP

Fridays: 8 pm EDT: Big Brother US 19 RECAP

          As you can see the schedule is only 2 recaps as I am only covering 2 shows during the summer which makes it a simple easy summer and plus I am liking the fact I get a day between, but again I do not mind recording day after day, after day, 3 days just the change of pace is nice and you never expect when a reality TV Show is on TV, like the saying goes in Big Brother, Expect the Unexpected! That is why I love the various days I record on, each Reality TV season is different from season to season and I never know what to expect! Also please note that Friday can change once the NFL Football Season begin in the fall towards the end of the BB19 so you can be looking at a Thursday Recap due to the NFL Football Thursdays! I will let you guys know once I know the change of schedule. Also as last season we had a few Friday episodes and if anything like this happens I will probably push it to a Saturday for the one week but again I will inform you guys of any schedule changes if there is any or they add a night on a Friday.

My Favorite 3 Stooges Episodes!

                I have been very, very excited to write this as I am a big Stooges Fan since my aunt Margaret and Maria, who has passed away in 2008 and 2016, whom I miss dearly got me hooked on The Three Stooges and of course Laurel and Hardy as well. So here is my list of my favorite episodes of the Three Stooges and they are not in any order whatsoever. 

               First one on my list is probably one of my 2 favorite most ever, ok well the 3 of my favorite episodes of all time! Well the episode that has made my list for all time favorite episodes is the one with the Cats In The Piano with Shemp which was called "Pest Man Wins", one of the most craziest and funniest episodes. You gotta admit Larry, Shemp and even curly wasn't the brightest tool in the TV Show back then but it leaves for hilarity to ensue.

               Next on my list is "Punch Drunks" where Curly becomes a boxer and when he hears pop goes the weasel tune it makes him go insane especially in the boxing scene but you will have to see the episode to see for yourselves.

                The next one that has made my list was "A Plumbing We Will Go" which is very self explainitory of the three idiots are plumbers and you can guess that chaos happens in the entire episode, they mess up the plumbing and even the blasted electrical! Again you would have to see the episode for yourself to see what happens!

                 The 4th one on my list which is in no order whatsoever is "Baby Sitters Jitters" and the reason is is just the smart alic remarks made to one another that got me laughing and the crazy antic's that happens throughout the episode including this dialogue: Moe: What's that
Shemp: A Clock
Moe: What's a clock say?
Shemp: Tick, tick, tick, tick
Moe Smashes clock on Shemp's head. 
That is a primary sample of the episode that made me laugh.

               There was one other but I do not remember it but had to do with Curly, Larry and Moe were looking after a house or mansion and a kitten was on the piano they thought it was a ghost also the scene the morse came in and Moe asked Larry what does it mean and Larry imitates it in a sarcastic but funny way. That is a few on my list that I really love and hope you have enjoyed reading my list and have a great Monday!

Taking Risks!

                  As I am typing this, I realize now that both Justin & Jeff want nothing but the best for Chris B On The Web and I agree, this is why I have decided to let Jeff do The CBOTW Gamers Podcast and there has been talks about it for the last few months but I can definitely guaranteed it will happen in the near future. There is a few things that need to be done to ensure Jeff is ready:

1) Get himself a new Twitter account since i got 2 or 3 of his permanently suspended, he will have to re-establish himself on there.

2) Get a laptop

3) Schedule the day of the first week of the month.

4) Get the necessary training he needs how to do the introduction since it is all Pre-Recorded, nothing currently Live.

So with that I am willing to take this risk, to trust Jeff enough that he can do the podcast once a month and I've known Jeff since at least 2009 and I should be able to trust him around my site and doing content both on the Chris B On The Web Blog and on his podcast. Trust has been a very big issue for me over the last year, first Chance letting me down on a chat, which has put myself in question can I take this big risk especially this early in the rebuild game? I am always one for taking risks and trying things out if they do not work I change things up I decide to not do that set thing whatever it can be. I am always a big risk, I like to take the risks but it sometimes or break Chris B On The Web. However I shouldn't be afraid to make such risks especially if and when opportunity comes a knocking.

YouTube Advertisers Pulling Out, YouTubers Losing Revenue!

           I have holding back with this blog post for a while now as I wasn't sure how to write this blog out or how to word this blog post but as most of you know YouTube has not been doing overly well since I left the platform at the end of June with the change of the TOS (Terms of Service) and their policies has changed drastically especially when it comes to the YouTuber's that earn revenue from their videos the terms are so much different since I departed from YouTube almost an year ago. One change if you very bad language then you will be demonetized, same with talking about very touchy subjects like issues going on in the world  such as depression as an example of why YouTube will not allow it. Even with all these new terms of service a lot of big name YouTubers has lost revenue on their videos and it is a shame too because YouTubers like him put his time and a lot of effort into the videos yet they are getting demonetized? Even with cursing... Like come on! It was never like that when I was still part of the community, I never got demonetized cursing even if I added the bleep sound into it. It is truly sad to see how the platform has turned out. I understand the not ad friendly part of it but what happened to freedom of speech and content creators now gotta be careful what they say

             Just recently the advertisers have pulled their ads from videos on YouTube which obviously means YouTubers will not be getting as much revenue from their videos as they were getting before which means a lot of YouTubers have moved to Twitch.tv to vlog or lifecast their lives now.  I never had anything to back myself out on if YouTube continued these ways so you can see Twitch growing as a community very very quickly if YouTubers continue to move to Twitch.tv. It is sad to see such a great platform like YouTube go down the drain in the way of revenue and it hurts the great content creators out there and a lot of YouTubers are upset and I saw one vlogging group leave end of last year and I have noticed a lot of people have left the platform. All I know change has to happen if YouTube is to continue on the right path to success.

Rough Re-Launch But ChrisBOnTheWeb.com is BACK! And Got NEWS!

          Well it was a really rough and stressful re-launch tonight as it has been a very, very stressful night for me to get the site working properly, work out the bugs and just get the site at least operational once again.

           First issue I had was the front page images weren't set up again which was my entirely my fault in the process I totally wasn't thinking at all and that was my fault so I ended up delaying the re-launch by 30 minutes. Once I was ready to re-launch problems galore, had issues with the drop down menu on one of the Menu options at the top, that being the tab called "Podcasts" which is home to the podcasts that are currently running on Chris B On The Web& ChrisBOnTheWeb.com! Also the icon at the top of the page, some page showed the Chris B On The Web logo, some showed 000webhost which is my provider currently that my site is built on.  So with that I had to mad scramble to fix the issues on the website, first the navigational bar which took about 15 - 20 minutes to fix which I was finally satisfied with finally with the navigational bar which has all the pages on the website. Then there was an issue with the freaking footer which is located at the bottom of the page for those who didn't know where the footer was on a website or what it was. So talk about major issues with the website today, it was very insane evening on top of my Rogers Internet being a pain in the neck as well so it was full of frustrations on a Tuesday night but hey we got through em all! 


            Now that I explained all the issues with the website here is my news that I have that involves Chris B On The Web. Justin, Jeff and I been keeping this for quite some time now and I have been talking about it on Twitter here and there that a new podcast was in the works, aka CBOTW Gamers Podcast. The original plan was for me to Host and have a Co-Host but now I am proud to say Chris B On The Web & ChrisBOnTheWeb.com has brought on a Host to replace me and Adam for that podcast so I can primarily focus on "Everything About Reality TV" and this person I've known for many, many years since the days of XAT.com. So without further Ado I would like to welcome  and welcome back Jeff Lieberman to the team since XAT.com days and I know you will do a great job on this monthly Podcast the first week of the Month. You will see him post up blog posts as he has free reign on this blog as well and will post up from time to time whether its sports talk or just random chit chat, he has the privileges as an author to this blog. Please note his podcast is in the early stages of planning, not day and time has been set when it get recorded or posted up on chrisbontheweb.com, he still needs to get a computer to record it with and possibly a headset with a mic so it is good quality sound but myself or Jeff will let you know when we have it set in schedule.

Social Broadcasting Won't Last Forever!

                     I've read a lot of other blogs, mostly having to do with social casting, but sites like Vaughnlive, UStream, IVlog to name a few that are out there, it wouldn't make a difference as ever since Stickam, BlogTV.com & Justin.tv closed down, social casting hasn't been the same since and at this point I think social casting is dead at this point, it wont be around forever. Nobody has much interest in social broadcasting is pretty well dead on those kind of sites meanwhile Twitch and YouTube and YouTube Live are doing well, minus the boycott on the YouTube Ad Revenue but I am not talking about YouTube, YouTube Live or Twitch, those are either making videos, podcasts which are awesome, or gaming videos, original web series like once mine The Entertainment Man Talk Show, I am talking about the sites I mentioned above but please do not take this as insulting broadcasting, I am just stating the truth, ever since all this doxing, swatting and trolls on Social broadcast sites like Vaughnlive being a primary example of tons of trolling going on, I think a lot people have left broadcasting due to too many trolls and my theory is you can handle the trolls then get off the internet! For one I cannot handle the trolls it got too much or too much drama got to me and you know it sucked the fun out of it to be honest. Another point I'd like to make is Guest chat, no casting website should have a guest chat Like Vaughnlive or IVlog, that is probably what 99% of who the trolls are and why you think when I was with VL I always had guest chat off cause they always seemed to get out of control, so I said screw it they gotta login if they wanna chat with me but be mindful I sometimes decided to turn it on for the heck of it. Sites I enjoyed and had great security with the way of trolls were BlogTV.com & Stickam, on Blog, you get kicked you would be sent to troll Rehab and you couldn't return for 15 minutes which is a great thing. Stickam, you get kicked I believe it's an hour if I remember or could of been 24 hour kick if I remember correctly.  But the one featured I loved was on Stickam having the mini cams on there on the side and I know a good friend of mine that I still talk to, 2 actually, one being Santiago aka Wolfdude272 and WatchDogOne who I still talk to from time to time cam'd up almost everytime I casted! I remember once I was featured and it was nuts in the viewer department, same when I got featured on BlogTV was a great feature to be discovered to your amazing talents.  That is what I think about Social Broadcasting and what it is to be but it is ONLY my opinion.

Happy Easter! | Changes With Chris B On The Web

               First of all Happy Belated Easter to you all! Hope you had a wonderful Easter, I sure as heck did! Between family, podcasts, blogs, cooking and fixing the bloody website, I pretty well wore myself out within that entire week and even after Easter I am still trying to catch up on stuff to this very day. But tomorrow will be a joyous day as ChrisBOnTheWeb.com will be reopening after a full week closed due to server issues and problems for about 40 hours late of last week. But at last that can be put behind me and everything is going to go back to normal and all podcasts this week should be out on the day of, no doubt about it now! 

              Update: Website is re-opening today at some point during the daytime. It was decided to take an extra day or so to work out any bugs that there was on the website everything should be ready to go this morning for the return of the website!

Website & Podcast Updates!

Good morning everyone,

             Yes I have been lacking blog posts lately as shit hit the fence this week in the Chris B On The Web universe so to speak and yes I know it's the middle of the night right now when I am typing this up. First the server the site that you know and love, chrisbontheweb.com is on went all fucky, wait is that even a word?! LOL!  I took that line from Family Feud that was said by one of the contestants of one of the two family's. Anyways, I am way off track aren't I? So what the server ended up doing and I got solid proof evidence what happen too but the images on the website went down, the background went from black background with ChrisBOnTheWeb.com on the right side to an awful bright white background. That just pissed me right the heck off and I pretty well reset the site on the server to see if that helped? Nope, still had that same b.s. as before. I just had enough I pretty well ripped the entire site apart trying to fixing it and also we were getting 403 and 500 Errors on the website. Took about 40 hours for everything to clear up as it was the bloody server decided to go wonky once again but now I gotta fix all my screw ups from messing around with the blasted website which is on hold till Monday, after the Easter Holidays, I gotta get Big Brother Canada done today and Amazing Race 29 recorded as well this way I am on the right track for the rest of the week. Then later on today I need to get baking for Easter dessert, and tomorrow start prepping for Easter dinner tomorrow! It never ends, then Easter Dinner Sunday then Monday back to the grind of things and get the website back up and running Monday with no time for myself but hopefully by Tuesday I will take a personal day for myself this way I can decompress after a busy week this week but I doubt it would happen, ha ha! Knowing me being the workaholic I am, I'll be working on my website until it is up and running fully. 


               Now last night, Stitcher whom The "Everything About Reality TV" Podcast is with in the way of partnership, problem that has happened before in the past and I am pretty well have had it with their issues, I even checked the RSS Feed and all is well on that end so it has to be them being slammed with new shows again? Possibly, I have already making new plans to go to Player.FM for my podcasts along with podcasts.com and TuneIn.com but also I am making plans to get my podcast out on ITunes in the very near future once I fix the logo so it looks nicer then it is currently! So that is where I am at with the status of the site and podcast and hope to have more updates by Monday where everything stands.

Weight Loss Update #1

               After almost 4 and a half months of being on this diet, I have officially lost 21 pounds which I think is amazing! I worked really hard to lose the weight over the course of the 4 months and I got more to come to get to my goal which hopefully around 175 maybe 170 pounds is the weight I would like to be at as a final goal. However right now I would like to be at 200 pounds by Big Brother Canada Finale, I know that's quite a tough goal to get to in such a short time because with next week being Week 5 of Big Brother Canada, I got 5 weeks to reach that goal, lets just aim for 210 for May 18th, 2017 which is possibly the Finale date for Big Brother Canada. You never know what will happen between now and that day, all I know I will work hard to get to that 200 marker so I can aim further to my goal of 170 pounds. If you wonder that is the weight I dropped to when I was in the hospital almost 14 years ago when I had the ruptured appendix which I was in the hospital for 3 week, you can imagine how much I lost, my stomach was very bloated from the poison in my body but the aftermath I lost like 30 pounds, I probably weighed around 200 - 210 pounds before the strange illness came in. But I want to aim for 170 at the most and lose that much weight and try and stay at that weight for now on but it will be a tough road to do but I think I am up to the challenge of getting to that weight and maintaining it right now. Hopefully losing weight will fix my fatty liver problem but we will see later on this morning when I go see my family doctor says and hopefully it is just more weight loss that will get the fatty liver down to it's normal size, no specialist or anything as I am already seeing another specialist out in Ajax in July. Another reason I wanted to lose weight was to get my butt back in gear for baseball in 2018 as I will be officially making my return to baseball but kind of scared to because of me possibly blowing out my knee once again like I did in 2013 or 2014.

        But Finally I am very happy with the progress that has happened with me losing that tremendous amount of weight and I want to continue on with losing the weight because when I weighed 239 pounds I wasn't one bit happy with the weight but now weighing at 218 pounds I feel much, much happier then I have been in the past.
