The Binding of Isaac Game Progress Update

I know it has been a while since I have done an update on The Binding of Isaac but I really do not remember really but I got things moving again and why I have decided to give you guys an update. So I decided to play with Maggie and I just went completely nuts with the game, not only got a ton of hearts on the game but also I got Ipecac which is pretty much a explosive shots and soon as I got it, I thought "Oh yea it's game over!" I was totally right. I not only defeated Mom but Mom's heart on the game and got a chance to fight against Satan or the Devil on the game but did not go any further but hey I got far. With the far and deep run in the game, I have now unlocked a bunch of items which puts me farther into the game and near the half way mark in the game which is definitely good. I also did some runs with Cane and did fairly well despite having 2 hearts to start with but made pretty much a good run but ended up dying but it is about the effort that counts really and that is what is the most important to me at this moment. I do find it hard with only two hearts but hey I am really am trying the hardest I can with it.

However I am once again finding the fun in this game and finding the challenge with the game. I need to play with different characters, mix things up if that makes any sense to you guys. I seem to find myself playing the same one over and over again and honestly I need to try other characters or challenges that I have left on the game. Once I hit 49.5 then that will be my halfway mark for the game so I am really, really close to the mid way and I want to get to this point. However I need to keep going with this game and not give up. I can say I am actually seeing myself playing a lot more and when I get started I just do not seem to give up whatsoever and I just keep seeing myself playing another run and a another run and so forth. So you can see there it has once again it has become an addiction to the game again lmao just like Warface is another game that is addicting. Anyways that is a small update what is going on and maybe when I get to 75% completed then I will end up on another update but I do not think there will be an update for quite a while now.

Games I Bought and Games I Want To Get in 2020!

Well it is time for an update on games I am now playing and games I want to play which there is a few on my list now that is a must play at this moment. There was some that are or were on the list kind of now have been put on the wayside at this moment but I am sure I will one day down the road, re look at the games that I haven't gotten and probably break down and get one day. Anyways here is the list of games I am currently playing and I would like the play down the road:

Want To Play:

1)  DayZ- A Zombie like game and I saw a streamer playing this game and I instantly fell in love with the game and love the idea of beating up zombies in the middle of the day time!

2) The Outerworlds- Pretty cool game, watching Rocky, Owner of Punk Rock Cheeseburger play this playthough and looking forward to it's release in 2020 on Steam.

3) The Sims 4- University Expansion Pack- Been waiting for this day to come for a very long time and I have discussed this with Larry and it is definitely on my list of video games to get especially in the New Year I want to put some money to the side and actually get this expansion pack and take the game to a whole new level!

4) Call of Duty 2- Played the first one and did try playing the second but seemed to get stuck at the start of the game and probably cause my aiming plain old stunk but now playing Warface which below you will see it mentioned below.

Playing Right Now:

1) WarFace- Still playing the game when I can but haven't loaded it up in about a week tonight so I am probably at Day 1 for rewards yet again so I will have to load it up and get the reward first thing tomorrow morning when I get a quick sec to do that.

2) The Sims 4- Always will be playing this game till I get bored but as I said I am looking into getting The University Expansion Pack in the New Year and it will go into a whole new level for the current households that I have up and running right now.

3) Dead Before Daylight- Love this game and getting the niche. I haven't had time to play it but I am going to have a ton of time between Late December and the time the new podcast which you guys do not know yet but details are coming very soon, sooner then you know it.

4) Life Is Strange- Playing the original and again this goes back to me having no time to play right now but I am enjoying it and I think I got every single episode so I need to make time to play.

5) The Binding of Isaac- Trying to finish up this game finally and it has been a very long wait to finish as I have been  stuck at a certain spot in the game but I keep on trying and I have gotten far but so far but no success at completing challenges or with the different characters.

Video Games Updates

Today post I want to update you guys on the video games I am currently still on. Now I am playing a game I haven't touched in a very long time honestly. The game I am referring to is Minecraft. Yes I went back to my old world to start dismantling the house which was the first thing I dismantled but what I did was gut it entirely, removed the windows and the roof and it was an open concept. Then the garden center was taken down and moved under water which mind you it was tough due to build but built the garden center first and moved all that to a smaller garden center. The after that I dug out where the garden center to put in foundation for the football stadium. So then I built up the structure by moving the wall over towards the end of the one end so it looked like the actual wall of the former house as the original house as part of the house, 2 walls remained in tact to become part of the stadium as displayed in the picture above. Then the barn came down as I transferred the animals elsewhere took the roof and tore the walls and floor out gutted the floor first. Also spawner is gone too so I can make room for the stadium. Right now I am digging out the ground where the spawner and barn was to put in foundation.

Now with Isaac, I have been mainly focused on Minecraft recently but when I do play it, I do very well on it. I have been to the Mom fight at the very end and the heart but yet I ended up dying in the end which is not good honestly but getting closer and closer to finishing up the challenge with the spider challenge or whatever it is called and one of these days I will end up winning and it will indeed be a happy day when I beat it finally. Now finally on the list as there is currently 3 games I am playing which I have now mentioned on here but the last game I would like to mention is The Messenger. Right now I am currently stuck on the game at a certain point and honestly I have put the game on the wayside for now and not played it much recently. Those are the 3 games I have played and honorable mention that I started to play Starcraft again but that was put to the way side as well but it is fun to play again for old time sake and will get back to it eventually.

Making Some Progress With 2 Video Games!

So it has been a while since I have made an update but I have been progressing well with The Binding of Isaac. I didn't actually finish a challenge or beat Satan but getting closer and closer and been practicing with Isaac and been trying challenges too as well but learning and using all my strategic moves on the game. However sometimes a curveball is being thrown but nothing I can handle honestly. I think something is going to give way soon where I am going to start going on a hot streak with the game. Right now I stand on 47% completed the game with all the items before getting to Platinum God but that is 53% more that I need to do and plan on working hard and grinding and hopefully one day very soon down the road I will get that hot streak going I am sure because right now I am in a drought with doing well but I've started to get all the way to mom aka the big boss fight but then end up dead but if I end up with Ipecac item then that is when I get on a roll.

Now as for The Messenger, I have now passed or beaten the first boss fight which is a very proud moment honestly. I am nothing but so proud of that moment where I managed to beat the boss but I ended up stuck again but I know what to do so it does give me some sort of leg up in the game. I may be slow with the game at first but then again I can be a very fast learner. With this game I have noticed recently, that I do so well and a very long stride it then I am stuck so it is an on and off thing with it but I do fire up the game quite often to give a shot and try it out. The more I play both of these games, the better I become at the game. With Big Brother Canada 7 coming to a wrap in 2 days, I am sure I will have more time for video games but don't forget I have the menu bar to work on and the Power Rangers Podcast but I will always take some time to work on the games and have some down time which I haven't seen since December so it is long coming and I am going to make time for fun now that I will have extra time on my hands.

Planning To Continue The Binding of Isaac & The Messenger

I have been so busy with projects galore recently with Chris B On The Web I just have had no time to actually play the video game right now, but recently I have taken some time off and actually played the game and almost went to mom or did but ended up dying in the game which sucks but getting better and better each and everyday so it is indeed work in progress to get challenges done and other things that I need to get to get the full 100% Platinum God but I am going to start working really, really hard as I want to get to Rebirth as well, then after birth, after birth + as well. But in-between work here on the website, I am sure as heck working hard on it. I am not one to give up on a game well if I know it was very, very bad at it then I would stop and I have done that by erasing the game from Steam and I have done that in the past but will make sure to sure give it a shot and try the actual game out but again, I've been busy but here and there I am playing the game once and a blue moon I will load it up and play a bit and trust me I'm going further but if I do not play then I become very rusty at the game so I have to keep up with it.

Now with The Messenger, I have been stuck for the past month or so with the video game but every time Larry is here I seem to get on a roll but last time he was here and I just struggled with the game and unable to beat as I feel like I cannot past the wizards that shoot out as that seems to be the hardest part of the video game honestly. Very frustrating but I manage to keep on trying. However I so plan on continuing on with this game just wish I would progress further but again patience is a virtue and I will get it in time, I'm sure. Like I have said on Social Media right now, I just do not have the time to play the video games with my podcast schedule very, very busy right now with 4 episodes a week,1 on Tuesdays, 2 on Thursdays and 1 on Fridays, so there is no way I can put in time for fun right now as the workload is, well there is a lot on my plate right now and fun time is not at this current time or place but these two games will be at the top of my list of trying to achieve success and hopefully to add to my completed games list finally as well.

My Favorite and Least Favorite Items on The Binding of Isaac

I have to give a shoutout to my followers on Twitch on my Twitch channel for this idea as we were in discussing it during one of my runs on The Binding of Isaac last Saturday which I would like to say it was an incredible first stream back, was so overwhelming to see the amount of listeners in the stream for my first stream back on Twitch. Anyways, today I will be listing my favorite items and why and here is my list:

Least Favorite Items:

-  Lemon Mishap: No clue what the heck it does or what real use honestly, nor the purpose of the item is.

-   The Poop: No clue what use this really makes to me honestly or the purpose of the item anyways.

-    Dead Cat: I demise this item and sometimes I end up getting  by accident from time to time but I am starting to get better at not getting this item but there is a challenge that I need to do with dead cat item so it will be interesting to complete it.

Favorite Items:

- Ipecac: The explosive shots is 1 of the 2 favorite items I love and when I get this item, I get excited when I do get this item but it has been a while since i have gotten the item lately but cannot always get this item.

- Brimstone: I had no clue how it worked at the start but then instantly fell in love with it but it has been a rare item to get from the devil deals or else where in the game but when I do get the opportunity I will take it.

- Technology or Technology 2: Love this item and was actually one of the most earliest items I ever got actually on top of another item which will be my last listed favorite on my list on today's blog post.

- Orbitals: Such as Brother Bobby, Sister Maggy, Harlequin Baby, Ghost Baby, Little Steve and much more, was one of my very first items I got on the game I previously said and I believe I had 3 or 4 at once at one point.

There is my list, hope you guys enjoyed reading my post today, like I said at the start of the post today, I was inspired by my Twitch followers and listeners that gave me this great idea and I thank you for this inspiration. Tomorrow's blog post was suppose to be a weight loss update but I need to hold off so I am doing something different to give you guys the heads up now.

Figured Out The Keys For The Video Game, The Messenger

I have finally started figuring out how to maneuver and move on The Messenger but it is still very awkward with the game so it doesn't make it easy. I am trying my hardest and I am starting to figure out how to beat the guys who breaths out fire so that is one concern but I am getting better at it as I am able to either duck or jump but coming up on a wall to a breathing dragon that has been my greatest issue right now and I promise I will try and play it on my next Twitch stream and try and get past that level as you guys have been so helpful with me giving me tips but not sure how many tips you can give me. I admit this isn't an easy game and it is quite challenging, however I am able to beat the levels easily and pretty much I find this game a learning curve still, just like The Binding of Isaac which is a complete different story and blog post for another day. I will definitely do a progress update with it down the road once I start getting more achievements down the road as of right now I am on struggle street right now with the game. Anyways. One thing I do find with this game is it has that Spelunky and The Binding of Isaac kind of look but more Spelunky then Isaac technically. There is definitely a small resemblance in the game to Spelunkus as Dan would call it.

The Messenger is a fun game but from time to time, it can be really frustrating from time to time but I am definitely enjoying the game right now and it will take me some time to get use to the game and I know I will get use to it. It is completely different from other games as all games have different keys to move your character or person but these ones seem very easy to remember, the jump and attack buttons. I have honestly gotten use to the keys but you should of seen me at the start of it all, I was very, very awkward with the keys but one good trait about me is that I am a very fast learner with the keys or anything in general which does help me out in my regular everyday life no matter what it is, fun, working on Chris B On The Web or just general everyday activities I know I can figure things out quite quickly.

The Binding of Isaac Progress Update

I can say, it has been an interesting runs the last little while with playing The Binding of Isaac. i have found myself getting closer and closer to the end and achieving more accomplishments on the game. Right now I am in the 40's for completion to get Golden God status in the game. It is a very long process to get 100% but I am now at 47% so I am soooo close to the half way mark to the end. I need to follow the steam accomplishments list so I need to look at it and decide which one to complete. As for the challenges I am 5 from completion and mind you I have been close time and time again from finishing up these challenges and actually it's not that bad. I have gotten to Mom's Heart but ended up dead before I got to her actually. However I am getting closer to winning every time and one of these days I will come out with the big "W" and one step closer to finishing this game finally. I have player over 1000 hours of the game, which is insane! I have been trying so hard to finish this and get into The Binding of Isaac Rebirth which I have already bought already and waiting to be installed onto my computer.

It is about time I finish this and I am excited to get to the end game finally and ready to complete this game. I have had this game for a good 2 - 3 years now and it has taken me a long time, however, I have gotten the knack to playing some good nifty long and deep runs within the game. I have even tried brimstone and honestly I love brimstone but it is rare to get from time to time, I haven't had it for a while and never know when it will pop up whether it is in the item room or a devil deal. It does depend if I have enough hearts or don't wanna gamble then I won't, but I do gamble quite a lot in the game. You can say got gambling in my blood, game wise not money wise if you know what I mean. I am really excited to see and how long it will take, I am going to work hard on my extra time to finish and finally complete this game so I can move on to Rebirth and the next game. I know I can do it, I have faith in myself and I know I can definitely can do it.

The Binding of Isaac Video Game Progress! [UPDATE]

The video game, The Binding of Isaac, it's been a crazy adventure and yet I have not yet finished the game. It has been some struggles during the game and I can be honest, certain parts can be frustrating and it has been really hard to go all the way then fail in the end when you are close to defeating Mom, one of the bosses in the video game. However there is the positive side things I am getting much stronger in the game and getting the skill I need to get 100% Platinum God. The one thing that does fear me is getting to the devil or Shioeld which is the other boss I have to deal with it but if I put my mind to it, I am sure I can beat it too. I can honestly say, I almost actually beat Shioeld and quite a proud moment for me to almost beating it. I still got quite a way to go, I am not even half way right now, I am at 44% completed with 1001 Hours playing the game.

My plan moving forward is to get all the challenges completed along with any other goals that I have in the game. I got 56% and the number is getting smaller and smaller but in time I will have completed Isaac and ready to move onto to Rebirth which i actually do got. I bought it months ago, hoping to have beaten Vanilla Isaac but I do play it from time to time when I got some free time to play a little video games which is becoming more often now with my schedule very much clear. One thing I am worried is beating a level in hard mode but hey i am definitely up for the challenge and I think down the road hopefully before I leave for the US but when I get back I will get back into the swing of things as of October. Again I will talk about it a week from now when I am 24 hours from actually leaving for Minnesota with my parents. I am excited to complete this game and move on with Rebirth and After Birth as well.

The Binding of Isaac & The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth Progress Report

So for those who are wondering with the progress on both The Binding of Isaac and also The Binding of Isaac Rebirth, that is what today's blog post is about. I want to update you all on the progress of the website and how far I have gotten within the game. Some is positive notes some, not so much but that's OK. It does take time and sometimes I got time, sometimes, I don't have much time, depends on my busy schedule.

I want to start with The Binding of Isaac, the OG, the Vanilla Isaac which I have been trying to beat for a couple of years but it has been a long process, however, I am getting better and better when I got time to play the game or pull it on my screen. It does take some time and I am definitely starting to fear battling Satan or the devil w.e it is called but I have already battled him once and did quite well until I ended up dying in the game...  So I am close to the end game but as long as I continue to keep on fighting through the challenges, I will be able to complete and Platinum God Vanilla Isaac!

The next Isaac is The Binding of Isaac Rebirth. Now recently I have played the game quite often enough in the past 2 weeks and have completed challenges like crazy like I am an expert at the game. Now mind you I just started Rebirth and rather get Vanilla Isaac done first before I start anything but it is nice to switch on over to Rebirth for a change of pace from time to time. I like how Isaac Rebirth is different from the original Isaac. It is a learning curve playing Rebirth but I seem to be getting better as I keep on playing the game on my spare time.

What is my plan moving forward? I am planning to complete Vanilla Isaac first before I go back into Rebirth, I wanna complete the challenges and unlock all the items and like I said about is get Platinum God which is 100% the entire game which is my ultimate goal, despite it's taken me years to get to a certain point. I have played 920 hours of Isaac and am at 44% completed so I am almost at the half way point. As for Rebirth, I am currently at 10% completed... LOL. Not as much for Rebirth, I have clocked 44 hours in total for that. So yes Vanilla Isaac is the goal for now but here and there, I will put on Rebirth. That is the progress report on the video game as of right now.

The Binding of Isaac Road To 100% Achievements!

Well I am getting more and more excited for The Binding of Isaac as I am now at 37% completed my achievements and on the road to 100% achievements and trust me once I get 100% I will be moving on to Re-Birth then once done that one I will be moving on to After Birth. I am merely really excited to be moving forward on Isaac quite quickly and that is what I do with my time recently is Isaac, Isaac, Isaac! Just trying to master Isaac and of course I learned a lot from playthrough's on YouTube has taught me a lot particularly one YouTuber and I have grown so much in this game and I am learning what the items are and what the items do and what items are not a good item especially like the tick being an item I do not want to get as it locks the trinket on the top left side of the screen. I realized the Nail is a good item if you get it at the right time which was what made me go all the way to the gold chest and win and unlock the quarter and Samson character which is the last of the characters I can unlock, well ok Blue Baby is the last one I will unlock but in time. I am pretty hyped up and the hype is so real right now and even tho I don't as far but I go far enough in the game but I went on a streak last week within two days apart I got so pumped up and excited to actually be going places on the game. It is only going to get better as I am knocking off achievements left right and center and it pumps me right up to get this far which now I will not give up whatsoever and I wanna get 100% achievements and move on to Re Birth then After birth! Those are on my list of games I would like to play right now and plan on getting it when I get close to 100% The price isn't bad actually so it wont be much to spend on Re Birth but I know it is pretty wicked! Another thing I have started to love is the Ipecac which is explosive shots which can be tricky especially with having it on homing shots so that makes it difficult but it you have plain Ipecac then you are good to go! That is my item of choice or the Fetus is the other item I like to use but that takes time to get use to it as well. The other items including orbitals like Sister Maggie, Brother Bobby, Little Chubby, Little Steve. Ghost Baby & Harlequin Baby which is a big help in Damage.

So all of these will help me in long run and there are what I use mostly but I tried using the candle and it is pretty cool as well, but I have been more patient which has paid off to me completing achievements not just one at a time but 2 at a time which adds up the number of hours I've played which last time I checked it was 530 hours in total I have played Isaac! I am very proud of myself, keeping patient, taking breaks when I have to but keep on trucking through with it all!

Have a great night another post coming later on!

Favorite Video Games | 100th Blog Post!

Well here we are, the 100th Blog Post and I cannot believe we are at my 100th blog post and I am not going to be making a big ass deal over it but it is 100 blog posts and in this blog today I am actually going to talk about some of my favorite video games I like to play and trust me I got a lot of favorite games that I have played over the years since I came online back in late 2003. Now here is my list of Video Games I really enjoyed thus far from 2003 to the present time of day and please note none of these are ranked just listed in particular order:

- Call of Duty: beaten the game so many times and mastered the game, never played any other game after the 1st one came out and finished the game but would start now definitely.

- Minecraft: I have become a master Minecraft Player, watching Dan Gheesling play his play through and learning on the fly and with the aid and help of Darkostridjer a former Twitch listener of mine, now I am very much a pro at Minecraft. Please note been taking a break for a while from it but I am planning on a return as I will be starting Minecraft Tekkit Classic and boy I am very excited to be doing it too!

- GTA 4 & 5: I love Grand Theft Auto, I started back when San Andreas came out but I never finished, however I finished 4 and 5 and love the characters from both 4, Niko and Roman, and one notable character Trevor.

- Battlefield 3/Battlefield Vietnam/Battlefield Vietnam: Again, I love the war games that's why this has made my list of favorite video games.

- The Sims 3/The Sim 4: Love the 3rd one the most, as the Sims broke everything very quickly which made hilarity at it's best! But when Sims 4 came around I found it OK until my sims were stupid enough to set the kitchen on fire and left the room and the rooms around the kitchen to burn, yet I couldn't get the fire department there, or the sims to put it out which kind of sucked.

- Starcraft/Starcraft Brood War: Loved this video games was one of the first ever games that was introduced to me way before 2003, before I came online officially and it sure is a classic game in my part and I got the 3rd installment.

- Metal of Honor: Loved this game, the Stuka Dive Bombers the gameplay, I never finished it but would love to go through the entire game again.

- The Binding of Isaac: Still on the first Isaac, but almost halfway there to the road to 100% achievement and getting better each and everytime. Hope to get to Rebirth very very soon then of course Afterbirth!

Well that is my list it's not a big, big list but these are games I do really enjoy or enjoyed to play and would play again in the near future and hopefully I play some newer video games in the near future which I will do a post of games I'd like to play!

Have a great rest of our Monday!

Accomplishments and Not Giving Up!

Today, I did something I didn't think I would of done after a few months of trying and trying. You are wondering what I am saying well today I finally beat The Doctors Revenge Challenge on the Binding of Isaac and boy it felt great, it pumped me right up and wanting to continue on the journey to beating the game so I can finally get to Re Birth game as I am very behind the times for updated video games but thats ok, I am starting to get through them quite quickly now these days which is a good thing. When I usually play video games I use a lot of strategy to how I want to do things and with The Binding of Isaac I have finally  learned a majority of the items that are in the game and I also know what they do which is a good thing if you ask me or I would be completely clueless in the game, ha ha. To accomplish something like I did today really put a smile on my face and really made me happy. I have been trying to beat this challenge for the last 3 - 4 months now and I finally did it. How did I do it? Not just strategy but patience and if I died in the level, I would keep on trying to I succeeded and I did finally. Did I give up? No! I kept on going and if I got way over frustrated with the game, I would turn it off and play a different game in the meantime and come back to it tomorrow or another day when I felt like giving it another shot. Like the saying goes if you first succeed, try , try, try again and that is what exactly I did. Yes I may be behind in The Binding of Isaac but I will eventually get Rebirth then finally Afterbirth and play other video games afterwards. I think once I got on a roll and a certain card that gave me more hearts, did help quite a lot so that made quite the difference during the entire run of the game. But today was indeed an accomplishment in itself and I very proud of myself. Wish I recorded it for my niece and nephew but they will be happy it has finally been beaten. Finally sorry this blog post is shorter then normal but I have nothing much else to say except thank you so much for reading today's blog and have a great night!

Chris
