ChrisBOnTheWeb Weekly Updates [02-15-2021]

We have been on a tear updating, testing and making sure we are polishing our sound and making sure we are 100% ready to go. The last week has been a very productive week for us and you probably noticed that we have been testing on and off of YouTube and Twitch and this is a network update for you guys. Chris yesterday successfully figured out the issue that it was a setting that was in the back side of the YouTube channel and was the entire problem but recently has been rectified and fixed. He has been in a better mood minus the next negative thing that has happened and that is Castbox. As you know Castbox is the main feed for both Entertainment Man Podcast and The CBOTW Show and Entertainment Man Podcast feed hasn't been affected whatsoever. However The CBOTW Show has been affected by this technical issues recently and Chris has put a hold on uploading to the main RSS Feed until the issue is resolved.

As you can notice on the left side that I have since updated the Podcasts Drop down menu per his request since he is the boss man. We moved "Entertainment Man Podcast" and changed the Archives above to "Other Podcasts" and Everything About Reality TV Podcast disappeared and I re-created "Podcast Archives" which the links goes to https://www.chrisbontheweb.com/p/archives.html which all you gotta do is click the image to actually get to the archives. It is not as I hard as I explained it, haha! Those are the updates I have for this week, Chris and Jasmine will be live this week on the YouTube channel while we figure out the Castbox issue and why the feed isn't updating at this moment but I may pop on during the week for an update  until then have a wonderful day and enjoy your Family Day to those who are having the holiday up here in Canada and I will hopefully talk to you guys later in the week if not then next Monday for the next update.

Everything About Reality TV Podcast Has Been Banned On Twitch!

All I can say is wow... Just wow... We deactivate our Twitch because we weren't planning on going on the platform and decided to give it a shot anyways to find out if we can pull in the crowd to find out we have been banned from Twitch for no apparent reason and I guess deactivating your account Twitch is against the Terms of Service (TOS!)  It really ticks me the heck off that we put our blood, sweat and tears into preparing to move back to video to find out we were banned from the platform for no reason, no notice in email we were banned for such and such time which is crap honestly. Guess we are confining the podcast to YouTube ONLY now and if YouTube axes us then we are going back to our root for almost the last 4 years aka Audio ONLY platforms. I have started to even wonder why we are doing video again after we departed from YouTube in 2016 but the staff wanted this, YOU guys the most amazing fans in the world wanted this and we are going to give it our best shot to grow on YouTube again as we did once have fans and listeners of the podcast on YouTube before.

Also technically the podcast did start on there from the beginning and maybe this is where we have to go from here on out.  So what's the plan moving forward? As you know, we are in testing mode right now, testing the waters on YouTube and got a good clear idea how to run YouTube channel with the Live Shows we will be putting on. I have been working with my team and we are getting good progress with it and going to be testing one more time live. The channel isn't visible right now in search on YouTube but it is on the platform and has been a channel since the 13th of this month so 8 full days of it being. We  will be taking off on video soon but right now is not the right time. Guess Twitch doesn't want us I guess. We're not wanted on their platform. I wanted to multi stream and guess it wasn't meant to be. Thanks Twitch for banning us when we didn't even stream much minus innocent tests which we have to test and ensure there is 0 issues! Don't think we will message them about this. I'm just done with Twitch in general but going to message em to tell em we didn't even do anything wrong and what is wrong with their moderators or admins on the platform! Like seriously! Maybe Mixer is the better fit for the podcast or just YouTube but I think we are going to focus on YouTube and YouTube ONLY!

Semi-Retired From Streaming!

I know you guys haven't seen me live for over a month now and it has been a long time since I've casted on my own channel and obviously still co-host after PRCB is recorded on the "After Dark's" however we haven't been live. So I guess at this moment, I am just semi-retired from Streaming minus the "After Darks" that I have done but again not sure what the plan is this week yet if I am planning to be on the podcast or not. More then likely am but we will see what this week brings but either way I still cast but it is more of a co-host but still its a cast. So it is a semi retirement but still active around the community and a big part of Punk Rock Cheeseburger. So I am not fully retired so technically the title I think is clickbait title... SMH! I honestly streaming is not as important but I do stream with Rocky on an almost week basis. My primary focus and always will be the podcasts and with Twitch being second on the list but like I said I am a Co-Host role more. As for the Chris985 account on Twitch, I only use it for listening to shows on Twitch on an almost regular basis and I do follow a ton of different people too.

I think this is the best decision for me to not stream and plus I have been trolled left right and center on the website but letting it bother me no more and there is something planned for PRCB and I want to wait and yes Twitch is involved and like I said I am on weekly on PRCB and that's it. I am dedicated to being on his stream once a week and honestly I am happy about it. I mean not just happy but I am OK with this change and I wanted to try and get away from streaming a bit more and to be a co-host or guest on Rocky's stream, I am really happy with it. I know we haven't been streaming Friday night "After Dark's" as we both have been a bit busy lately but we are going to get back to it. As you can see on the screen cap I posted on the post here to the title of the post for today, I changed it as I am technically Semi-retired from streaming as I said above. Why did I do this? Well I think it is more suitable that it says that I am semi retired not fully retired from streaming. It was the wrong idea and honestly the original title felt very clickbait for a title. I honestly do not want to be know for being a click baiter so that is why I changed the title and very quickly. So that is what is going on with me streaming and that entire thing about me streaming even to FB Fan Page, more then likely it will not happen at all.

What Is The Real Plan After Everything About Reality TV Ends?

I know I have spoken about this before I was part of PRCB (Punk Rock Cheeseburger) Podcast that I would be taking a break from running my own Podcast and yes that is indeed the plan to take a break from running my own Podcast but there is now more to it now then there was 4 months ago when I made the first initial post about this way back and here is the plan:

  • To take a break from running my own podcast as it has taken a lot out of me honestly and I am quite exhausted from it still as I have been going non stop all the way up to September when I had a week to a week and half off which wasn't enough as you know I am planning to take a bit of a extended break unless Amazing Race 32 comes on in the New Year but I highly doubt it but we will have to wait and see
  • I will be continuing on with the Power Rangers Podcast as I or Larry have no plans on stopping that podcast right now as it has become a very popular podcast on my website only and has done extremely well over the course of the last year.
  • The next point I would like to make is I am going to continue to be involved with Punk Rock Cheeseburger Podcast each week so I am still podcasting but I am involved both Behind The Scenes, Co-Owner role and also as the Co-Host as the podcast so you can still expect to hear me on the podcast every week with the odd week off from to time.
  • Also I want to continue on going to events with my dad and blogging about it. I also want to do a food reviews as they come as I have really enjoyed doing them and there is some coming up in January with Larry and I.
  • Finally, I would like to say this, you probably can start seeing me stream a bit more on Twitch but PRCB, Collab Podcasts and the website/blog will still be a priority to me but I hope to eventually start streaming and hopefully gaining some new listeners and start re-building my fan base once again for you guys.

So there is the plan on what I want to do with myself after my podcast is finished it's what has become an amazing run and there will be other projects that I am sure I am going to involved with and I got more plans then you know it as I have spoken to individuals about stuff and we will be working on that but that will be definitely in the very nearby future.

Podcast Intros & Recording The Podcast

Today's post, we are back to the topic of podcasting as I took almost a week off from it to cover other topics within the last week. But alas we are back, or I am back talking about podcasting. I want to focus today basically on Intros and recording the actual podcast. Now the intro I use a royalty free intro that has my voice over. You can find some on Google and if you really want to pay for one then that is fine. Trust me a proper intro really does help you out and gains some listeners. Plus it tells your listeners what you are listening to actually so that is always a plus when it comes to the intros to your podcast or podcasts depending if you have two on the go and I have noticed some host two different podcasts weekly. However an proper intro is helpful to have especially if you guys like a sponsor that you need to promote as a thank-you to them for sponsoring you or even if you are promoting a product that a company that paid you to promote and yes that is still in the realm of sponsorship but it is a great way to get it out there to your fan base to check out and buy. Now if you do not have a sponsorship and you own a website like me, you can promote your website on the intro like you guys all know and hear each and every week or in this case twice a week as of right now as my schedule depends on how many episodes I cover per week!

The next part of today's post I would like to talk about is the recording process of a podcast and I know this is a very detailed blog post and that is the point behind this post really. So recording wise this is the part of the preparation for the podcast is making sure the sound is perfect next the intro track and the voice track is set up as you will need to have two tracks or record then add the intro track on the post production but we will get into that Sunday's blog post. Sound quality is the upmost important if you are doing audio only and if you are on video as well then of course video quality is important. No you do not need a fancy green screen like I have behind me which hardly has been used since I got it but that is not the point. The point is the quality is the most important thing of all whether it is audio only and video quality is good. The final point I would like to make is have your notes ready to go as that is a huge part of the production side of things so you know what you are going to talk about in each and every episode of your podcast. Content is very important and to make sure it is entertaining content so this way listeners will come back each every episode that you produce and post up. Also being consistent with a recording schedule is also upmost important. I will cover the editing and uploading part which will be the second last thing in this series before we wrap all of this up and move on with new posts down the road as well.

Different Platforms You Can Put The Podcast On

This is one of my favorite posts to make within this series. So today's post we are going to talk about different platforms that your podcast can be on. Let's start with the basic platform where the source of your podcast come from. Mixcloud, Anchor, Libsync and the one my podcast "Everything About Reality TV" is on Podcast.com are all a good site but I recommend Anchor, Libsync and Podcasts.com. As you know the history of my podcast where it began to where it is to this very day it has changed forever rapidly fast and cannot believe how fast my podcasts grows and the more platforms you get on the more you will be noticed. Now it doesn't happen overnight but as you keep on producing more episodes the more the platform is getting noticed and trust me it took me more then 1 year to start being noticed. By 2018 is when things got on a roll for me finally. Yes I am referring to me covering Music City and Celebrity Big Brother which really helped grow the podcast even more.

Now the platforms I grew on from the main platforms were TuneIn which is a huge directory and no wonder it's grown rapidly on there since late 2016 when I added it to their directory which honestly was excited. Next on my list I expanded to Player FM, Castbox, ListenNotes, PodParadise, Google Podcasts, and also ITunes which came later as I wasn't sure on there. The second platform my podcast was on was called Stitcher which is another great platform and see a great amount of listeners as I check it this morning and more listeners then I had when I first started out on that platform back in 2016 which was the second platform I expanded to. Now those are some of the platforms my podcast is on I cannot remember them all but 13 to be exact I am currently on at the moment. However it takes time and I recommend to not rush expanding too fast I highly do recommend to take things slow at the start then slowly expect. Like the saying goes you can't rush greatness. Now video platform wise, if you want to put your podcast on YouTube I do not recommend it but if you want to with the adpocalypse and being demonetized then I respect your decision but you guys know my thoughts about the platform already. Now Twitch you can do a Talk Shows and Podcaster category and can stream it under there. There is also other platforms you can stream on as well but it would be too long of a post to actually list them all out but worth to even Google it.

There are some of the platforms you can do you're podcasts and I have made a couple of recommendations but definitely highly recommend, Stitcher, ITunes, Player FM, Tunein.com, Podcasts.com but again but still Google it and research the platforms is probably the best way to do it and you will be definitely surprised the ones that you can put it on as I just added mine to a 14th platform that I found. See eventually you will end up where I am being over over a dozen of platforms which can be very overwhelming but totally rewarding especially in the end to watch your podcast grow over the years. Now like I said in yesterday's post, I am now taking a couple of days off from this topic and will return Tuesday back to normal to finish off this series then with other topics the rest of the week. Tomorrow I have a special post as I will be on location with my dad for a food review at an event along with the event itself too.

Equipment For Podcasts- What Do You Need?

Welcome to Day 2 of this mini series of Podcasting Help or tutorials. I am excited to be back to do another one of these for you guys and was a great turn out on the post yesterday so it is totally worth to continue this series. I was thinking about doing it every second day but decided to go day to day. Anyways today I am talking about equipment.

1) Video and Audio ONLY: If You want to go on the video side of things, the equipment you probably need is: If you do not have a mixer a headset does work but still it is worth to invest in one, even a handheld on a stand itself can be the cheaper route for you guys to take. Also if you are streaming it live on YouTube, Twitch or any video platform a webcam is a must. You have to get yourself a decent one as the cheap ones were not the greatest as I know from experience but I got some quality cameras here in the studio now. Also for recording using Audacity is a great program, but there is other programs out there like Adobe Audition, however you can just Google it and see what there is out there. Finally for this part of today's post is the software you use for streaming your podcast live. Now there is a few programs that are very popular these days. First is OBS which is an open broadcast software and it is free compare to the other two you do have to buy a pro to get more features to where OBS is totally free. The link for this software is www.obsproject.com which I am not paid to promote their software but highly recommend this! Next is X-Split which I used for many years but the only issue is for the free version of the software you have only 4 scenes and I think some features are locked unless you get pro which I do not know as I haven't used that program in a very long time as I am more a OBS user now these days when I do or did stream. Finally is Wirecast which does cost a bunch to get and I wouldn't recommend it whatsoever.

2) Audio ONLY: For Audio ONLY all you need is Audacity or any audio recording program which I spoke about above, microphone or microphones depending if there is one or two of you for the podcast which my studio is setup for 2 mics right now at the moment. I highly recommend to even get a 70 - 100 dollar hand held like I said above even a stand that you can adjust. That is actually how it all began for me then a goose neck and the rest is history but that is a great way to start then as you go on then you can upgrade to a condenser like I have and like I have told you guys I have the handheld which is now on the second boom behind the second screen which is rarely used minus when guests of a certain collaboration podcast is over here talking up snow on me at the wrong time... haha. Anyways start small scale then you can build it up eventually.

Anyways that is the post for this morning, tomorrow we get into the beauty of the podcasting world with the different platforms and it will definitely will be an interesting as my podcast is on way to many platforms and I will cover em and what to do. I am excited to get to this portion of the podcast especially. Fair warning after tomorrow's post I am taking a few days off to cover different topics on here so it will be changing but Tuesday we will be back on this topic after a small break.

You Got Me, The Rest of The Summer!

I know things did not pan out with YouTube but what the heck can you do? Since I got home, I thought things were going well honestly. Till this whole entire YouTube thing, now the podcast is back on Audio ONLY as it is just pathetic after what happened and I am now over it and fully am retired from YouTube. Anyways I am pretty all yours for the remainder of the summer. The schedule this week is a bit screwy as most of you know I am just not active on social media lately, I went M.I.A. from it all and the reason is I have been spending a good amount of time with my niece and nephew but after today I am all yours, yes my Aunt and Uncle are coming from British Columbia but I will always have time for you guys honestly. Yes I am back on Twitch on weekend streams but may do an a late night stream when my parents are away, never know! Either then that I am promising by next week to get the schedule right finally! The last week and a half has been a whirlwind of craziness with drama as you know from the previous blog late last night. I am not going anywhere and I will be definitely around my studio a lot more and ready to record twice a week and only a month left honestly of Amazing Race Canada 7 which is crazy and it will be an interesting finish as it is anyone's game honestly!

I promise by this weekend I will be more active on social media as I said before I have been very quiet and part of it was cause I was in one of my moods also instead of that weight loss update which now has been screwed over by the amount of food I had, I am planning a review about the Lion King movie as I just saw it yesterday with my parents, niece and nephew. So some new stuff is coming as tomorrow I wrap up the Boston trip food reviews. I am looking forward to the ton of content I have for you guys over the course of August from podcast content to new topics and ideas to talk with you guys and the occasional rant, especially with the recent stunt a certain platform pulled on me which I did discuss last night which I am certainly entitled to my opinion and I was being nice compare to Tuesday afternoon when I was entirely fired up over it. However a certain podcast that is in the pre-production stages is being planned to be streamed over on Twitch down the road once I build up my twitch audience too! More information to come in the near future once I know I am going to definitely do that!

Everything About Reality TV Is Constantly Evolving!

I know you are going to wonder where is the posts about my vacation away over the past week and I promise you tomorrow I will be getting into it as a lot has transpired over the weekend with the recent ban of my EARTVPod account on a certain website I rather not say which one but I always seem to get banned for the smallest things. Anyways this all happening made me realize I should of done things differently with the podcast instead of leaving, we should of just started a separate channel like I have now which mind you can find at https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCgZsFsgSBi6G687hY37NTRw/ and I am happy with this decision to come back and I should of not left. However I probably get more listeners now then I did before as the primary focus of the actual channel is recapping Reality TV Shows so now things will be looking up on the video side of things now. There is an another element I am adding to all this video platform craziness and that will be revealed at the start of 2020 on my annual Yearly plan for Chris B On The Web. I have already posted up one episode thus far and will be posting up another one maybe between now and Thursday night's Live Broadcast after BB21 airs never know and it may be a premiere with that new feature on YouTube. Everything About Reality TV Podcast is always evolving and the description of the podcast on any of the Audio ONLY or YouTube channel will tell you what the podcasts will be on but I will tell you guys here anyways and I know I have mentioned it before but here it is again:

Video (YouTube) & Audio ONLY:

Big Brother
Celebrity Big Brother
Big Brother Canada
Survivor

Audio ONLY:

The Amazing Race
The Amazing Race Canada
Music City CMT

There it is and never know, may add on other shows to the list and will be having an conversation with my Co-Founder of the Podcast on the idea but it will really depend if we both can have a collective agreement to do it. It would be another show on the Audio ONLY side of things as probably have more luck in the way of views. Either way this podcast is growing rapidly and won't be stopping anytime soon!  If things change over the next several days with the conversation I have with Larry then I will be doing a new post between in case so I will squeeze it in.

Changing A Few Things For Chris B On The Web...

I can say this with all the drama going on, at this point, I am just done with both YouTube and Twitch and just sick of the drama at this point and I am done with broadcasting and can see why one of my friends doesn't cast anymore... I think I am better off Audio ONLY and Everything About Reality TV Podcast and I think it was suppose to be like this from when I made the move over. Yes I know YouTube is dying, the notifications broken, adpocolypse and the list is on and on. So Everything About Reality TV will be remaining Audio ONLY and yes I realize there is another podcast is on it's on it's way and in pre-production for possibly the fall and I support him on the YouTube venture. My job is to supply the Audio ONLY side of things and promote his podcasts. We all have different aspirations and goals and I support him and we are always on the same page of things. The next thing I would like to address is someone reported my Twitch account when I never messaged anyone but watching a stream briefly then I decided to get off so at this point I am now also done with Twitch. Yes a lot has transpired over the last several days and right now I do not know how to deal with all this.  I think I need to simplify things and I really haven't been making things easy and been in bed late cause watching and moderating streams for people which now isn't happening since I'm banned.

The final thing I would like to say is team wise, I know Larry is still noted as a former member of staff, yet he's been involved with Power Rangers Podcast but he will stay as it is unless he tells me otherwise he wants the Staff badge back but things are indeed going well between him and I with this collaboration and we do not any plans of stopping those at this point as they seem to be very popular here on ChrisBOnTheWeb.com which the views have been great and I thank you for tuning in when it goes up 4 times a year and I am happy to say it's coming back as a week today, I am sitting down with Larry and actually recording 2 new episodes for you guys to be released in June when the editing is done. Also I am also thinking about covering Hell's Kitchen but need to talk to a few peeps about it but there is a possibility of it returning so that is what I am thinking about in the back of my head as I am starting to wonder if this is it for Big Brother after this summer but I hope not but I will let you guys know if I do plan on adding on.

Planning To Do A Modded Minecraft Eventually!

As you know, I have been quite absent from the game recently but not gone far from the gaming world when I do have the extra time as things are getting crazy for me right now. Now if you remember my ChrisBOnTheWeb channel on Twitch before it got banned, I did an entire playthrough almost but the point of me finding the end portal was off stream after I pretty well got trolled off by a 13 year old harassing me after being banned and coming back into the room under a new name but I did finish it off with the help of one of my Twitter followers which i honestly not sure if they are following me still but he helped me out after I found the actual portal that is when I asked for help and defeated the Ender Dragon first shot. Anyways I tried numerous types of mods and had some issues with it. However I think I am definitely on for trying one particular mod and that would be the space age mod... Now yes I have tried it and had some fun but ran into a couple of things and problems as I needed cactus to help build the things I need. I am totally unsure how to do certain things as there is some technical stuff that I have to figure out. I know what I need to do to get ready to take off but I have yet to build the rocket but definitely going to figure things out.

When I plan on going back into Minecraft, I just do not know when I will get back into it I just cannot wait but the Space Age mod is the one I actually plan on doing. I have become quite familiar with the mod but I kind of drifted away from it and started playing games such as Rocket League, The Binding of Isaac and The Messenger are the games I have been playing when I have the time to play and once I finish up with that but yes I have been thinking about Minecraft but from a creative stand point, I just do not know if I really have the time right now but we will see. I need to have time to really play as right now Everything About Reality TV Podcast is taking over my life right now and I haven't yet stopped since end of February and still going on the 10th Season at the moment and not sure when the finale will be right now. Also add on the Power Rangers Podcast returning soon as I have hinted yea I do not think I have the time to do one right now. Also with the 11th season of Everything About Reality TV soon arriving it is going to be tough to make the time. However down the road when things settle down probably will get the chance to actually play more games but we will see definitely what my timetable we be like.

No Secret I Have Been Trying To Revive CBOTW Gamers Podcast

I know two podcast posts in a row but a lot of podcasting news from the CBOTW Studios but keeps you guy up to date and everyday something seems to change or happen. Now to today's post, it is no secret in the past few weeks, I have been working on ideas to get CBOTW Gamers Podcast back up and running once again. I will give you a bit of a back story to the podcast. I had a co-host for the podcast but it did not work out and the podcast was shelved. they also hosted the podcast originally, then it was cancelled, followed by a revival then shelved for the last almost 3 years now. I just recently decided to start working on bringing it back with me as host but right now it is quite difficult to do with me running both Everything About Reality TV & Collaboration Podcasts but it will eventually come back and is on hold for the meantime. Least in the meantime, I can start working on much newer ideas for the podcast itself and if it isn't the gamers podcast that returns it could be something else but like I said to Eric, I sure have options and I think CBOTW Gamers can be something to look into even on a monthly basis which isn't as much as bad or every second week could work out too for the podcast but I haven't gotten that far in the production side of planning that. But eventually I will and yes I have been looking into streaming it live but again not gone that far with it as of yet. Plus once the website is fixed to the changes I am making to it with the site which I have briefly have mentioned it on Twitter and Instagram a bit so I will have room for an additional tabs to the site but I am definitely thinking of the future for CBOTW Gamers Podcast which can be a thing down the road especially.

This podcast has a ton of potential and I know that and I knew that when it was originally in it's original run with the original host who I will not bring up as we are not on good terms but it is what it is as sometimes friendships goes their own ways sometimes. Anyways I am totally taking over this project 150% of this project and I am planning on having guests on the podcasts down the road too and plan on setting it up so I can take calls through my mixer board. So still a bunch of work to do and money to save up but come June, I am working on that side of things. I am getting way out of hand on other topics on this post now aren't I? I plan on even having segments Happenings on YouTube, Twitch, maybe a Gamers spotlight of the month or week added in there too. New games coming out on various different platforms and much more on the list! The podcast is going to be an hour long per episode or per month or whatever the schedule permits but again the scheduling and format has yet to be put together but I plan  on making a template and all I have to do is write in the notes each and every episode. I am excited for this new opportunity down the road and soon as I am ready to go an official announcement will be coming down the road. It will not be on YouTube as I said before, I am very much retired from that platform and the way it's going I am better off elsewhere at this point. I gotta do what is best for me and the podcasts as well.

Some Platforms I Use To Broadcast On!

I know this is going way back in the early years of being doing online media but I thought I would go through each and every platform. There are platforms that aren't around anymore unfortunately as they closed their sites down. I am going to go through the major platforms I broadcasted on mainly, not the ones that I lasted a short time.

I started on Stickam.com in 2010 on and off up to August 2012 when I subsequently left the platform after dealing with some drama. Then I moved over between to BlogTV.com before moving back to Stickam in 2012. Then I took a small break from broadcasting I think between 2013 and 2014, however I know I signed up with Vaughn Live but didn't broadcast much as I didn't know what I was doing as of yet. I believe I moved over to Justin.tv which was closed down to focus on Twitch but I spent a ton of time on Justin TV platform which I moved on as I ended up being banned from unfortunately due to me constantly spamming their chat due to a disagreement.  I did broadcast on the platform (Vaughn) but was a very short time when I broadcasted on there before getting myself banned from the platform. Then I did broadcast on another 2 platforms, however was banned. So I took some months off from broadcasting before I started to become a loyal to another platform which was Twitch. I started on there in 2016, summer to be exact, probably July is when I started and lasted into September when I stopped broadcasting due to trolls name calling, even after I banned and reported them, they kept on coming back. I tried to make a comeback in 2018 and just recently but decided to stop broadcasting all together to focus on the podcasts you guys get every week. Oh I should note when Everything About Reality TV Podcast was live I did broadcast on YouTube as well.

So the question you probably wondering, am I retired from broadcasting for good? The answer is yes, I have decided to stop casting or streaming some of you guys call it due to the fact I want to focus on Everything About Reality TV and the collaboration podcasts as well. I want my full attention on the podcasts right now, I wanna make sure to give you guys the best podcast I can give you guys. Broadcasting was fun but in the end, it is an end of an era for me but I will always have fond memories of the people I met on the platforms over the years, I am quite happy with the quiet life I am living, well from to time it isn't quiet, it becomes quite hectic but use to it.

My Favorite and Least Favorite Items on The Binding of Isaac

I have to give a shoutout to my followers on Twitch on my Twitch channel for this idea as we were in discussing it during one of my runs on The Binding of Isaac last Saturday which I would like to say it was an incredible first stream back, was so overwhelming to see the amount of listeners in the stream for my first stream back on Twitch. Anyways, today I will be listing my favorite items and why and here is my list:

Least Favorite Items:

-  Lemon Mishap: No clue what the heck it does or what real use honestly, nor the purpose of the item is.

-   The Poop: No clue what use this really makes to me honestly or the purpose of the item anyways.

-    Dead Cat: I demise this item and sometimes I end up getting  by accident from time to time but I am starting to get better at not getting this item but there is a challenge that I need to do with dead cat item so it will be interesting to complete it.

Favorite Items:

- Ipecac: The explosive shots is 1 of the 2 favorite items I love and when I get this item, I get excited when I do get this item but it has been a while since i have gotten the item lately but cannot always get this item.

- Brimstone: I had no clue how it worked at the start but then instantly fell in love with it but it has been a rare item to get from the devil deals or else where in the game but when I do get the opportunity I will take it.

- Technology or Technology 2: Love this item and was actually one of the most earliest items I ever got actually on top of another item which will be my last listed favorite on my list on today's blog post.

- Orbitals: Such as Brother Bobby, Sister Maggy, Harlequin Baby, Ghost Baby, Little Steve and much more, was one of my very first items I got on the game I previously said and I believe I had 3 or 4 at once at one point.

There is my list, hope you guys enjoyed reading my post today, like I said at the start of the post today, I was inspired by my Twitch followers and listeners that gave me this great idea and I thank you for this inspiration. Tomorrow's blog post was suppose to be a weight loss update but I need to hold off so I am doing something different to give you guys the heads up now.

Figured Out The Keys For The Video Game, The Messenger

I have finally started figuring out how to maneuver and move on The Messenger but it is still very awkward with the game so it doesn't make it easy. I am trying my hardest and I am starting to figure out how to beat the guys who breaths out fire so that is one concern but I am getting better at it as I am able to either duck or jump but coming up on a wall to a breathing dragon that has been my greatest issue right now and I promise I will try and play it on my next Twitch stream and try and get past that level as you guys have been so helpful with me giving me tips but not sure how many tips you can give me. I admit this isn't an easy game and it is quite challenging, however I am able to beat the levels easily and pretty much I find this game a learning curve still, just like The Binding of Isaac which is a complete different story and blog post for another day. I will definitely do a progress update with it down the road once I start getting more achievements down the road as of right now I am on struggle street right now with the game. Anyways. One thing I do find with this game is it has that Spelunky and The Binding of Isaac kind of look but more Spelunky then Isaac technically. There is definitely a small resemblance in the game to Spelunkus as Dan would call it.

The Messenger is a fun game but from time to time, it can be really frustrating from time to time but I am definitely enjoying the game right now and it will take me some time to get use to the game and I know I will get use to it. It is completely different from other games as all games have different keys to move your character or person but these ones seem very easy to remember, the jump and attack buttons. I have honestly gotten use to the keys but you should of seen me at the start of it all, I was very, very awkward with the keys but one good trait about me is that I am a very fast learner with the keys or anything in general which does help me out in my regular everyday life no matter what it is, fun, working on Chris B On The Web or just general everyday activities I know I can figure things out quite quickly.

Final Thoughts on Life Is Strange Video Games

It has been quite some time since I finished Life Is Strange like a month or 2 now and it is time to do a blog review of the game.  I can admit I have never once played a Life Is Strange video game, this is the first one and I got into this game from another podcaster and Twitch streamer after watching them I got the game on Steam and played it right through and majority of the game I streamed over on my Twitch channel which I have not streamed for a very long time as my schedule has been extremely busy but that is for another day on another blog post. I made the wrong choices on the game and that was my intentions from the start of the game I was going to make the wrong decisions and no matter what I did I did I ended up getting Chloe's character expelled from school either way or. When I got into this game, I had no idea what I was about to get into nor I knew how long the game would be but only 3 episodes plus the bonus. What do I mean by bonus. I got the DLC for the game which was only a little bit more of money. I do admit I got stuck in one of the chapters of the story but I did not give up at all. There is a learning curve but the fact I watched someone else play the game did help me a bit which I never did with the Walking Dead video game but even YouTube or Twitch helps with playing through a game as long as I understand how to beat level after level that is what matters.

This game was very interesting story line throughout the game. I actually really like the game and plan on playing older versions of the game, the earlier versions. It is not a very long game but the story line lasts long enough per chapter so even with 3 chapters it is still a lengthy video game and I do not mind the length of the episodes. Some of the streams last hour to 2 hours with just one chapter which is good it fills up the time I am live on the air on Twitch. I highly recommend this game if you enjoy games with a story and where you have to make a choice. Yes choices may be tough but this game sure as heck make you think and I like the fact I had to think I really enjoyed it.

What is next since I finished this game? Well down the road, I do plan on actually planning to play the previous Life Is Strange video games and you know never know I may end up streaming it on my spare time or the other option for me is play it on my spare time but either way I do plan on playing the video game down the road along with other video games on my list which in a couple of days, I do plan on doing an updated list of what games I would like to play but the other Life is Strange video games is most definitely on my list as I really enjoyed Life Is Strange: Before The Storm and I think I am going to get it either this month or next month at the most and do stay tuned as I am planning to do more video game reviews down the road.

Twitch Suspended Me????

Well Twitch has really done it this time. I went to the Everything Page and the chat said "Channel Has Been Suspended." For what reason? I never broke any of the terms of service on their website whatsoever. So it really has ticked me off. I feel like they have had it out for me since my Chris B On The Web account on Twitch or even when they still had Justin TV opened and I got banned over and over again over little spam which isn't right honestly.  I admit when I made the mistake to get banned under Chris B On The Web and I have learned from it but now having my channel banned for no apparent reason? When I am bringing a podcast to their amazing platform?! I could of easily kept it on Audio ONLY and pre-record the episodes and not bothered with Everything About Reality TV and not record em live on the air. Twitch has really made me upset and happy with they conduct their website and I am having regrets even to start gaming on there back in 2016 full time. I am definitely having regrets ever streaming on Twitch. I had the right idea to retire from broadcasting all together and should of done it in 2015 after being banned from another platform for something stupid I did.  Anyways, I just do not know what's next for my podcast especially nor where my head is at at this point, I just cannot give a straight answer right now and I wish I can figure this out and fast.

What do I mean by this? I am planning, I mean I was planning on doing twitch now in the new year but them suspending me. Maybe they realized someone was getting into my account and did this in case. Last night I was not mentally all there due to the fact I was cursing like a sailor in my own studio and I wasn't happy and it is all normal to be upset to setup a channel that you worked on putting together and this all goes down on you and it is very frustrating. I really did feel frustrated last night and tonight I am kind of changed my tone with the whole situation. I emailed them back calmly and not use of profanity or trash talk them, I dealt with it as an adult and also in a professional matter. There is still plenty of time to decide whether I am going to utilize the platform or I will end up staying where I am at with the Audio ONLY Platforms that Everything About Reality TV is currently on at this moment which mind you is many platforms as the podcast and it is an overwhelming response of this podcast's success.

Chris B On The Web Staff, Global Moderators & Moderators

I have started to be more trusting in having people help me for example but first The Staff are the ones who work on the content and bring the content out to you guys. Now Global Moderators like Billy will be making sure the the rules of any channels or the blog comments are being followed and report if a blog comment needs to be removed from the website. He also has the ability to suggest ideas and features for Chris B On The Web so they have a lot say in ideas and features for the website or for the podcasts.  Regular Moderator is the moderator of any of the chatrooms that Chris B On The Web has. The following is a list currently of the Staff, Global Moderators and Moderators for Chris B On The Web:

CBOTW Staff:

Chris

Global Moderators:

Billy
Dave

Moderators:

LarryR1982

Corvettefan90

I gotta start small group of people helping me which is fine and eventually I will be probably, hopefully making staff again down the road but right now that is not happening right now as I am very much happy on my own with minimal help but still need help with around the website with moderating comments and being the ambassadors for the Twitch channel representing Chris B On The Web and I appreciate the help that is given to me when I need it especially.

Maybe I Should Listen To What I Said Months Ago... (Frustrated With A Video Platform)

Two blog posts in 1 day?! Are you guys lucky or special to be getting a second post of the day as something is on my mind. As you all know I had plans to do something huge for Everything About Reality TV Podcast's 10th season. As you know the podcast is coming up on it's 10th season within 2.5 years and boy it's been a ride since the start. The cat is now out of the bag so to speak, both myself, Dave, Larry and CorvetteFan90 have been talking about the podcast going back into video for it's 10th season in such a short time but recently I have had my accounts tampered and deleted numerous times and honestly I am tired of it. I am so frustrated with this platform as I was planning on bringing in my loyal fans to their platform and yet I cannot do that now. I am flabbergasted what the heck is going on with my 2 account for both the podcast the bot that helps me out in the chat to make sure the chat is going with the flow, nobody being rude or spamming the chat.

I am giving Twitch a week to get this all figured out then I will be done with video broadcasting and broadcasting all together. I am not going to wait around forever for them to get things sorted out with two accounts and I am not playing around as I take my podcasts very seriously and still have fun doing the podcasts at the same time. I wanna grow my podcasts not have em fail whatsoever and honestly when I said I was done with YouTube I meant every single word of it. I had no plans to ever return to the platform at all. Honestly a lot of people left YouTube moved to Twitch that is why I am doing exactly the same but right now I got that minor inconvenience and lets hope it is fixed soon or I am staying on the Audio ONLY platforms which mind you have done extremely well on all the platforms and I see no reason to add video at this point but I want to do this as part of the celebration of it's 10th successful season and that is where I am now making the strive to get things ready, to get a second camera for the studio and also the boom arm which I am holding off due to the stupid Canada Post strike backlog now that the strike is over and I will be talking about that in a different post next week at some point. But yet again, I am giving all of this  a week then I will be making the decision to stay where I am currently. I don't think it will change and I will let you know the outcome from today's blog post.
