No More Twitch or YouTube!

               The title doesn't lie. I am retiring from streaming on 3rd party websites. However I will stream onto Instagram and Facebook like we use to with updates and interacting with you guys. I am just retired from streaming on those platforms. We just need 5 more followers to make it actually happen. I appreciate and love the support you have given us even the hand down of the CEO reigns with Sara which she wants to update on the transition of power so that is tomorrow.

              So I will stream and hang out with the fans but that is it. Nothing else. No more gaming streams on the fan page just hangout that's it. Maybe TikTok if I get the 1000 or 10000 followers, whatever the amount is but actually doing well on that front but I am not going to push any of this actually. Going to take those baby steps to the goal to stream on social media again. A lot of more social media presence for us moving forward! Just gotta get the numbers up which we are planning on doing immediately cause our goal for FB is 100 by the end of the year. Anyways that is the post and I will talk to you all on Monday as boss lady wants to do an additional post and she's the boss now I'm accepting her wishes so have a great rest of your week and weekend and talk on Monday! Might have some big news!

Website/YouTube Castrophe!

             From leaving YouTube cause someone decided to troll me and insult me when I was minding my own business to the podcast pages and RSS Feeds so screwed up not posting. I can say it has been a catastrophe and as for The CBOTW Show not going up was cause something got all screwed up in the back end. So all podcasts.com feeds... Gone! I have already contacted Castbox to see if they can fix something so I can make another feed as there is nothing on that account whatsoever if they can reset it. 

             So the website looks a tad bare bones but I hope Entertainment Man Podcast page to be back by this weekend at the most and active and running again. I am waiting till the Castbox RSS Feed can happen again. However it will be back soon don't worry. I am on it all. Made a mistake splitting the CBOTW Show feeds into two so it is better off as it is for now. I hope within the next week, we can get back on track. I will have an announcement this afternoon about The CBOTW Show and where we stand with it returning. Anyways that is the post for today and I will talk to you all tomorrow for a special Friday post from me and Sara will be doing the end of the week updates on Saturday.

Feeling Frustrated With YouTube...

              As you know, we had an issue with our former Channel hijacked and inappropriate videos uploaded to that channel. Now mind you we had the channel down and when it was Hijacked, it was reactivated apparently and someone uploaded inappropriate videos to it getting the channel permanently terminated which means, we cannot make a new channel now and we've not been active on the platform since deactivating the channel or scheduling it for deletion. So today, I've reached out to Team YouTube and they wanted to take this to DM and asked for me to follow and let em know it's done. It's now a little over an hour and nothing. Not a message back whatsoever. Starting to feel like they just do not care about their creators and really discouraged with the platform and that I have made the right move with no longer making videos on their platform. Me retiring was absolutely the right move that I made in 2016. I have no regrets whatsoever walking away from the platform. 

             This is why myself and the team decided to stick to our small but dedicated Facebook community where you guys have supported us non stop recently and we are thankful for your continuous support over the last almost year as we are reaching our 1 year anniversary with our Facebook page. So we can manage even without being on the platform. We have managed the last 4 years on our own and honestly we have done well. We continued to grow up to end of 2018 when we started to lose followers but the loyal followers stayed. We will manage without YouTube, we have and I am staying positive throughout this situation. As for the platform, I am very much happy where we are and I am sticking to my gut instinct on this. I enjoyed my time with the platform and still watch my favorite content creators on my spare time but as for us that chapter for us has now closed.

Our Former YouTube Channel Updates and Deletion...

               As you know one of our former Staff hijacked the account that I am in actually and uploaded inappropriate videos to our YouTube and gave us a warning and then a strike since that person kept on doing it so now only Chris and I have access and only the two of us have access to the account which we currently do not have a YouTube channel and our focus on the website and our social media platforms as well. We've established our community very well on here and we wanna continue it. The biggest goal is to get those likes back up on our Facebook Page is the upmost important thing. However back to what I was saying with that YouTube channel we have officially dismantled it and scheduled it for deletion as it is a brand account and will take some time for it to actually be deleted. The damage has been done and it cannot be fixed at this point. I believe we are on the right track and focusing on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram is probably the best move for us.

               Chris obviously has to get the OK and green light from the rest of the team on this and I am fine with whatever the team decides, I'm just the Community Manager of this website and ChrisBOnTheWeb so I am cool with anything. Hopefully Sunday, we will know what the status of podcasts in general are and I will have an answer for you guys on what we have planned. As for YouTube we're more then likely done with YouTube but again you never know what the team has planned with us but we're always looking into new things and honestly we're doing what's best for us in the end. So YouTube is not in the very near future for us, Chris is sticking to what he said about being retired from YouTube, he's meant every word of it.
