When Will The Community Manager Role Be Filled?

                 As you know Sophie recently passed away and the question we have been getting is when is the Community Manager be filled and who will be taking it over? Now I have considered Joe to help me on the site work and bring someone else on but that's just me thinking out loudly to myself but here are the answers to your 2 questions:

1) When will the Community Manager?: Pretty quick as I feel like I have hardly the time to answer messages and emails so I hired someone and I know I am still dealing with the loss of Sophie and Joe's been answering emails to help me as you didn't know I have been away from the day to day operations since Sophie passed away. 

2) Who be will the new Community Manager? Good question Joe has taken over the role and it was clear from the get go he was here to help in the long run even though we have had stress lately in this community.

           I will talk to you all on Saturday for the end of the week updates as it is a Joe take over in the blog tomorrow to explain things to you all, I will talk to you all then, have a great rest of your day!

Discord Server Re-Done and Being Worked On!

Well the old original server was deleted all together but due to request it is back online. Not everything is finished yet as I am focusing on a podcast for Thursday right now. But in due time I will work on things but there is some new ranks and here is what they are:

Boss Man (Me), the boss of ChrisBOnTheWeb- Light blue   

Staff, Who makes ChrisBOnTheWeb Tick- Red  

Bots, Bots in the server that post up YouTube links and help with the moderation of the server- Purple

Moderators, who keep the chat, clean and a positive community.

Those are the roles and most of the channels and voice channels we had will remain as they are just have to add roles to the list at this moment and I will in due time. I just need some extra time to work on it. That is today's post, I will talk to you all tomorrow.

End of The Week Updates [02-03-2023]

          Time for another end of the week updates. A lot has transpired in the last week. Anyways here is the end of the week updates:

Entertainment Man Podcast: Got a podcast booked for the end of this month with Tim from 20tiMinutes so I am looking forward to chatting with him on my podcast. 

Power Rangers Collab: Working on a season right now, nothing to report but will be posting up the next episode today in 2 - 4 hours from when this post goes up live on ChrisBOnTheWeb.com. Look forward to you guys hearing it and hearing your feedback on this new formatted. Please note we are still learning with this new format and need time to get into it.

Community: This community has been a bit chaotic with losing a member of staff and honestly getting tired of it. Kind of why I've been a lot quieter in the Discord community and just trying to bury myself in my work as much as possible. I'm trying to be active but cause of this I just do not wanna be around the negative. I promised myself a positive and happy year this year.One step at a time tho.

Moving Forward With The Facebook Fan Page....

             I know the Facebook fan page has gone dead and that is because my Management didn't have access to it and one of the reasons was prior to my former Management Team member, she ended up quitting for a second and final time and Mark took over and I currently have no way to give him the privileges to post as the page and post the blog and podcasts. So this means the Facebook fan page renders useless and stays quiet till hopefully around my birthday or the day after when I can actually post.

            When the time comes, first thing I will be doing will be giving Mark access to the Fan Page. I may be taking time away from the page a little bit longer and he will be updating you guys for a while till I feel ready to come back after all the drama, I am kind of taking time away so he will be in charge of it. He will have a lot of access to the page so in case I get thrown into Facebook jail and I will try and not have that happen again, I promise! Anyways that is the post for today, I will talk to you all tomorrow!

2022 Will Be A Better Year!

                 After feeling like I have been talked into doing Reality TV podcasts again and it totally fell apart, the drama this year, I can officially say 2022 is going to be totally different. I am not going to put up with any drama or insults anymore.  2022 is all about me and the 2 podcasts that have done extremely well this year since the change over and I am not about to roll over and go back to that, uh, uh, no way! Also the fact I am now in a better place now and a lot happier and 2022 there will be no 3rd, 4th, 5th chances etc. I am putting my foot down on this as I want to keep the community, clean, positive enviroment for everyone.  Alexandra, Larry and myself continue to make this a positive community and we will not tolerate such behavior like insults to myself and my team.

                I haven't been the best boss in the last 2 years letting things get out of control and I am stepping in as of now. I am not letting this community down. I already let my previous community and team down before, I'm not letting it happen again. I am so close to 10 years I can feel it! I am getting closer and closer by everyday that goes by. Keeping my eye on the goals ahead and excited for the 10 year Anniversary coming up. This is something I never saw with The Video Projects Team, only reached the 8.5 years mark then I ended up walking away from that team but this time I want to see the 10 year mark and beyond that as well. I  have said this before and I'll say it again, I'm excited for 2022. That is my post for today, I want to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and I will talk to you guys on Monday!

I Need To Do Better With Problem Solving In This Community!

                     I know at times, I have hidden and not said anything on social media or moments I go entirely "radio silent" on most platforms, you know something is up. I tend to go quiet when I go into one of my moods or some drama went on, I do not take it on directly, I avoid the situation and not deal with it. I've noticed I have distanced myself more and more from this group and I should remain active but sometimes it is just hard for me to deal with so much going on. I need to stop distancing and problem solve. Also I find myself not listening to both sides of the story, I just overreact and drama ensues. So I have to start being more assertive and actually face the problem head on, rather then go ban happy and I have been going ban happy on the group especially. I counted at least 8 to 10 people have been banned but I have taken majority of the bans off minus 2 individuals. 

                 Trying to make it right especially in this community and starting now is a clean slate, I wanna start over as I have been too unfair with some of you and communication is key. I do not want to come over strict and that is how I feel I have been feeling like I have abused my power as Founder/Owner and losing too many followers and I gotta stop the bleeding to be honest. I mean I have to fix this community before it crumbles like The Video Projects Team once did which was one of the reasons that community crumbled which drama was  a factor as well in the last year of it's operation. That is the one thing I am scared of is when CBOTW hits 8.5 years it will all coming crumbling down once again and I do not want that to be a repeat but fair warning any issues gone forever. Consider this a fresh start as I banned so many people on the group and now only 2 are currently under a ban. This is a fresh start for all of us and this year has been hard for all of us and so many changes with podcasts and hopefully moving forward things will be better. ChrisBOnTheWeb Has A Reddit and Linktr.ee!

              That's right, ChrisBOnTheWeb is on Reddit now! Myself and Savannah have worked hard to getting it ready over the weekend and we have a ChrisBOnTheWeb Community by clicking that word that is hyperlinked or https://www.reddit.com/r/ChrisBOnTheWeb/ We are excited to have this community and effected as of this post going up the link to the right hand side that's been there a few days will be activated and I am sure there will be an announcement at 12 pm or 1 pm EST promoting the link but this is the first promotion of the link and the start of promoting the reddit. This is definitely a new beginning for ChrisBOnTheWeb and there is still more surprises both in this post and later onthat I am going to be releasing to you guys. Got a bunch of stuff to release to you guys on some additional things that is going to be coming out.

             Also I have created a Linktr.ee with all the basic links that you guys need and that is going to be released this afternoon at 1 pm EST and will have all the links that you guys need, from the website itself, main podcast feeds to the social media, the reddit as I mentioned it will be all there and probably the pinned Tweet and post on social media for a very, very long time as I do not plan on unpinning it anytime soon so you guys can go to that if case you need to know where links are via social media prior to the blogs and podcasts post that go up on a regular basis. Statement About The Community Lounge's Return!

                With the RETURN of the Community Lounge here on ChrisBOnTheWeb.com I wanted to make an statement about the chatroom returning and will answer questions. Now there has been so many issues lately whether it was a chatroom here on the website or Discord server there has been either drama or just trolls being demanding and disrespectful towards the team in general. LET ME SAY THIS: It will not be tolerated. Now to a couple of the questions you guys may have regarding the chatroom:

1) When are staff around- That is hard to know as we're very busy team but we are around when we are around and typically between 9 am and 7 or 8 pm EST but there will be nights where we may end up being up late so it varies when we are in the chat but sometimes we leave our names just say hi in the room and we do not answer within a few minutes we are either busy or asleep. We work odd hours especially with Big Brother Canada 9 now underway, Chris is online a bit longer now with the Live Feeds up he will be up listening to them so between now and Mid May our hours are now going to be 12 pm and 9 pm at the most.

2) Rules- There are rules below the chatroom and that always seems to be an issue to follow them and we hate banning but we have no choice. We are going to be making a Ban times list that way you guys know how long you are banned and we will be taking notes who is banned and win along with username and two of us know who is who with the bans and that is myself and Chris. 

3) Chat Being Weird- We have added a button next to the chat on the website that looks like this to the left of this text. It is hyperlinked and all you gotta do is click the logo and it will take you to http://chrisbontheweb.chatango.com which is more capable to chatting within the community. We made it easier for mobile users but if you are on Tablet or IPad then it will be a ton easier for website use. This was an idea between both myself and the Founder & Owner of ChrisBOnTheWeb & ChrisBOnTheWeb.com. This took weeks of planning and Late January/Early February we started to plan and work on this feature and it took us weeks to slowly plan and execute this.

           So tomorrow, Chris was originally going to post but he has given permission to do two days in a row. Tomorrow I will be talking about the rules and how long we are going to ban on the chat so you know. We do not wanna make it permanent unless it is a very severe rule broken. Let's Try This Chat Thing Yet Again! SMH!

           This was all Chris's idea in the way of chat of returning to the website and I had a couple of ideas which I will not get into as we're in the early stages of the chat's return and we do not want to rush it. However it is back up and running and yes guest chat is an option for right now but if the spam and disrespect returns then we will be locking down the chat once again and we are not afraid to do that whatsoever.  There is no holding back and we wanna grow the website and build this community. This is one of the reasons we brought it back was to start growing the community and the website. Now the views are up this is a great time to expand on the website so we made a few tweaks to the menu bar and the About is under it's own drop down menu to make way for the chatroom which was released right away.

           The chatroom can be found on ChrisBOnTheWeb.com/p/community.html and staff is around typically during the daytime but sometimes we will hide out in the chatroom from time to time but depends if we are awake we may answer but keep checking back in our community chat. We hope one of these days if we can get the chat really busy that we can start doing Community Nights on our chatroom but that is part of Phase 3 of the plan as we are only in Phase 1 which is growing the community. We also will be looking for Moderators but in due time. The Only Moderator we have right now is LarryR82 as he is a former staff member of The Video Projects Team and ChrisBOnTheWeb and he has Moderator status on our chatroom and is around when he can be on. Let's regrow this community and grow this website even further!

We Have And Adding Chats To ChrisBOnTheWeb.com!

                 Chris gave me the green light to write this post for today's post. As you can see we have been busy around the website as we have been coding our eyes out yesterday which now looks really amazing to be honest! We have been always looking to add new features to the website and yes we had a chatroom on our website at one point but was shutdown due to spam and hate but we realize with this chat when someone is banned, nobody in particular but it's an IP ban. The Community Chat is up and active here on the website and we're around the website if you wanna chat but I am happy to say you guys got a place to go and chat and hangout with everyone else in the community. Only thing is getting it used but we will be leaving it up on a 6 months basis and if it doesn't work out then we will remove them but I am sure we will have a few people here and there. You guys have to realize this was just launched 24 hours ago and we are getting views on the page so that is good. We're around if you wanna talk. Now we have added a few rules to the list and we wanna focus on just chatting with you guys and leaving help to our E-Mail or contact page on our website.  

                 Now to the second "Chat" page it is ready to go but not released as of yet. We are waiting for the Big Brother season to be officially release a date to when the season is going to be starting. It is actually on the website itself just not visible at this time but it is going to come. This Big Brother Lounge will also be the official Chat for Big Brother Canada whenever they decide to renew the season. Chris or myself will update you when things go live but for right now we are sitting on this extra chatroom for right now but we're excited. One final thing I wanted mention is we are working on fixing the drop down and trying to come up with a fix for it as right now the darn thing is a horizontal drop down but we are researching how to fix that so it is what we are working on is to fix the drop down under "Chats" as I said it is the wrong way that we want it to be.

Taking Chris B On The Web More Seriously...

                 I have been thinking about things lately and really taking CBOTW seriously. I want to do things right as the last few months has been really busy for us getting things sorted out since the return of Everything About Reality TV and having three Staff departed on us. Honestly I want staff who are going to commit to our content and that is what we are doing. I know I am all over the place making decisions and deciding what is what right now and like Chris (Reality Teas) told me were trying things out and working around the issues together as a team.  I know things are confusing and you guys got ton of questions with things but in time you guys will know what is going on with the content. As you know Entertainment Man Podcast is put on the wayside right now I know you guys were wondering about that but don't worry you can find it under the archives page if you want to catch it up. With taking things a bit more seriously and making sure we fit every bit and pieces properly. It is a day to day thing and really I know you guys want information and we will give it to you guys. We can say tho we are bringing out content for you guys starting June 3rd, 2020 @ 8 pm EST and yes I am referring to Everything About Reality TV. 

                  Either way I am taking things a bit more seriously and been making changes with the website and added one more member of the team. However you will know more on this weekend's update post. Either way I wanna make sure things run smoothly and with things slowly shifting as we are exploring video platforms again, we have to change schedules around and constantly readjusting the scheduling and I think we got it figured out at this moment I think, no guarantees its is all up to what is going to happen with those two shows. Also I have started a Discord Community which isn't released publicly yet but will make it public soon! Going to get the team on there first before we make things public!

The Chatroom Has Returned On The Website!

                Probably noticed over the last almost week there has been a chat implemented on the website and absolutely no reasoning why it is on the website right now. Well, it was told by one of my staff that it would be a great idea to bring back the community and I think it has been long coming for the chat to return to the website finally. I kind of missed that void of having a chatroom to communicate with you guys outside of social media and email. Now the question I have been debating is whether to open it to guests or anons so if you do not want to sign up you don't have to. However the problem with me having a chatroom is the fact I use to get trolls in the room so probably and I am about 95.9999% sure it will remain where you will have to login or signup for an account which it is free to sign up. Now if I do that it means the amount of trolls will be cut down and I do got moderators and Staff that do monitor chat so that is a good thing. I couldn't even list who's on staff as we got quite the crew actually on the website but they are a big help to keeping the chatroom a clean and very positive community as that is what I want to make it is a very clean and positive experience for the visitors to the website. Obviously the last chat there was so much drama on the last chatroom I owned which at a point it kept getting delisted from being promoted on the main page of the website. However this time it will not be delisted nothing as we have all the power with the chat and it is 100% better. Any bans on the chat you pretty much cannot come back unless contacting the contact page.


                So either way the trolling will be down from the last time and wish we would of found this chat service which is free to get soon and we would of changed over sooner and probably it would of been a better place to be actually. However we ended up on Tinychat for a bit before IRC then obviously no chat whatsoever. It is good to be back and even if I am not logged in I am monitoring the chatroom well ghosting my own chat and just a click away to log into the chatroom on the website. Hope you guys enjoy this feature as it is now officially back. Mind you only few rules to follow and I have to put them in but the rules are 1) No spamming, 2) No being disrespectful includes racist remarks 3) No posting inappropriate links. Pretty simple rules and there is only 3 as I do not want to bombard you guys with too many rules on the chat and I think I am one of the only people with very little rules and honestly I do not want to add a lot of rules to the chatroom.
