I'm Back In The Saddle!

           Well I am back in the saddle after being away from doing fresh blogs for you guys. It has been a busy, emotional last few weeks and now I am in the healing stage and yes literally healing stage. For those who didn't know, I ended up having a freak accident by cutting my hand with glass where you could see my tendon in my hand which isn't very good whatsoever. So I was in the hospital a week ago to get stitches. Tomorrow I'm getting those stitches out of my hand hopefully it's healed enough for it but I think it is. 

           Also the last week where all blogs and podcasts have been done and finished, well I had a hard time taking notes for The CBOTW Show which I know I have to explain at the end of the week cause a lot has happened since getting back here. I will talk more about that at the end of the week. Trip was good got there safely, despite we had to take off and go for a second time around for final approach. Coming back we went south of Toronto Island and Billy Bishop Airport aka Toronto Island Airport. Took us a while to get home afterwards. Also got myself a Quebec key chain, Montreal Expos hat and a Quebec hoodie. Anyways that is the post for today, I will talk to you all tomorrow.

Addressing Discord and Some Recent Drama....

            Recently there has been some drama with the Discord with Demanding to speak to Chris when he was offline, busy work content. That is his job is to be a content creator. He cannot be paying attention to the Discord 24-7. He and we all have things to do, life, work, etc. You guys have to realize myself, Billy and Jasmine (JWL1988) on Discord are here to help. We know exactly what is going on with CBOTW, we do have the knowledge as well as Chris works with us constantly with updates to the website, blog, podcast or content in general. To come on the Discord and demand for Chris is NOT needed. Also we have rules and to ask for Mod we know you personally and you have to earn Mod. There is a dedicate channel and if you ask a member or the Management Team or Mod we can type #discord-server-rules and all you do is click it. There are buttons you can press to see the chatters list and also top left is where you hit to see a list of channels. We tried to help, we explained there is rules to follow. 

 

             To accuse Chris "This is the way you treat your fans" when he was feeling frustrated the way you treated not just me but our moderator by saying "I do not trust them." That is just outright rude when the Management Team and Moderators work hard to keep the community a clean, positive place to be. Plus you do not know anything about them or even got to know em even if you just jooined the Discord Server. We will not tolerate it and if we have to ban we will. This is unacceptable behavior and to disobey the rules when we were clear to where it was and we tagged it. Anyways I wanted to address the situation and we are trying our best but please guys, read the rules under #discord-server-rules it is clearly there. Show us a little respect we are trying our hardest. Like our former "Community Lounge" our Discord Server also has rules and they have to be followed. I will talk to you all tomorrow at 11 am EST for an website update.

Change of Plans! Chat Is Gone Permanently and We've Got A Discord Server Now!

          Chris has allowed me to slip in this bonus blog post this morning before the normal post from him goes up. As you probably have noticed with the website that the Community Lounge has disappeared and it was a decision by the entire Management Team and Chris to remove it once and for all for several reasons why really and here are the reasons behind our decision:

1) Chat was inactive: I was the only one in there recently despite the views have been extremely well but just not activity minus the occasional time Chris is in the Lounge from time to time.

2) Trolls: We have had our share of trolls recently spamming the chatroom with VPN's after we banned VPN's and we frown upon the use of them as it makes it easy to troll the chat.

           So with the Discord Server, it already has become an active community on there and also the Management Team of myself, Chris and hopefully Billy and Tiala on there today. A week Monday we hope to get Larry on there under the Alum title as well. The link can be found under the Discord logo to the right hand side next to our our Social Media's or by going to http://discord.com/invite/tQAtafvUMw to join our wonderful community. This will prevent trolling because one ban and not just your account but your IP is banned since the server is based by IP and not just your username and there is no way to come back unless Management or Moderation (Moderators) unban you. I think this is the better decision to have a server and even Billy is getting people to join this community. I know a chat on the website brings in views but this also clears up room for what we have planned in February with the reconfiguration with the website. I wanna say we had concern we wouldn't be able to fit it in but now we can. Please feel free to sign up with Discord, it's free and join our Community.
