End of The Week Updates [11-11-2023]

       Another week has wrapped up for us but first, I want us to remember those who we lost during any of the wars, World War I, World War II, Korean War, Vietnam War or any of the wars that has gone on the last 20 + years. We will never forget.

     So this week has been chaos for us, from Chris switching gears to Power Rangers to really get it done for the 23rd and that is the ultimate goal and he wants to get both seasons done by Monday or Tuesday so he can start typing up the notes on the other computer behind him on the right side. Also he has been busy with The Royal Winter Fair content and plans to post up a ton of stuff from the day which spans to Sunday on social media then one more a podcast that he says he's going to post to YouTube but not 100% sure as the bonus episodes are still 100% Audio ONLY at the moment. 

       So it is I think he's doing The Great Outdoors end of next week actually of my knowledge what he's told me but all I know is 3 podcasts next week, 2 on Monday and 1 on Wednesday at the most. Also fair warning he may pop up at 1 pm ET on Facebook.com/ChrisBOnTheWeb for a stream but depends if he is busy and has time, also when he gets back as he was suppose to be back in Toronto on personal business but that has been moved to Thursday. Anyway that is the post for the week, I will speak to you all on Saturday as next week is indeed another 6 days of blogging for us, so have a good weekend and week, talk to you all in the community and I will be back here next Saturday for another "End of the Week Updates."

End of The Week Updates [10-27-2023]

           It is time for the end of the week updates and it has been a very interesting week for us. Chris has been trying and trying to get Power Rangers done so him and Larry can start recording again and finish off this journey but the issues are still riddled with problems so he is going to be working on it this regardless no stopping nothing going to watch the series. This has become a priority as the podcast has been on hiatus for nearly 5 months now. We've been asked where is the podcast and we have had to give the same answer that it's on a hiatus. Even, I do not know what he's thinking but it is being worked on. 

               He has been weaving in and out of Entertainment Man which has an interview today @ 1 pm ET. I look forward to hearing this interview on his podcast this weekend. Will be a tight schedule for editing but I know he is definitely up for the challenge. Our ChrisBOnTheWeb Media Fan Page is now at 75 followers. We thank you all for the love and support you have given use over the years and please continue to support us as we continue to grow and evolve with our podcasts and content. Also on our private Facebook group not so much private has a powerful great small group of people for behind the scenes and fun polls and discussion please also join the group as well as our fan page. but as always I speak to you all next week.

Changes while I am away!

           As you know I will be away from CBOTW Studios with family yet again which means changes and here are those changes

End of The Week Updates: I will not be doing end of the week updates once again for both this Friday and the following Friday as well so this means the lack of updates will not be there for a while, for at least now. 

Entertainment Man Podcast: I have pre-recorded 3 episodes of the podcast. Which also means no premieres whatsoever on the weekend while I am gone away. 

Discord/Facebook Fan Page & Group: You will see more of Brianna then me as again I will be away and not around for a week to week and a half. She will be the next in command along with Larry as well. 

The CBOTW Show: I will be recording after I get back on some Full House Recaps as I want to get started with it but have enough on my plate right at this moment so it will have to wait till I get back.

          That is the changes while I am away and it isn't much but I will cover the full content schedule tomorrow on the blog so have a great rest of you day and hope you will checkout the blog tomorrow.

Moving Forward With The Facebook Fan Page....

             I know the Facebook fan page has gone dead and that is because my Management didn't have access to it and one of the reasons was prior to my former Management Team member, she ended up quitting for a second and final time and Mark took over and I currently have no way to give him the privileges to post as the page and post the blog and podcasts. So this means the Facebook fan page renders useless and stays quiet till hopefully around my birthday or the day after when I can actually post.

            When the time comes, first thing I will be doing will be giving Mark access to the Fan Page. I may be taking time away from the page a little bit longer and he will be updating you guys for a while till I feel ready to come back after all the drama, I am kind of taking time away so he will be in charge of it. He will have a lot of access to the page so in case I get thrown into Facebook jail and I will try and not have that happen again, I promise! Anyways that is the post for today, I will talk to you all tomorrow!

Why Did I Switch From A Facebook Fan Page To A Group?

               I know this has been a question for a few weeks now why on earth I changed from a Facebook Fan Page. Well somebody or somehow I got reported to Facebook for misleading content and was unable to earn money from Facebook all together but I do not even earn a single post from Facebook. I have one source of income which I will not say so the trolls do not try and get me demonetized, doing that for my own safety. However recently I felt like the move was a dumb move as 60 likes is a heck of a lot. It probably was the biggest bonehead move I ever made but the way I think of it, I can pin a lot of announcements to the group this way compare to a fan page. Yes it's only 19 members in the group right now and that's fine and anyone can join as its visible to the Facebook Community. I will get more members I'm sure down the road, there will be a place and time for that to happen.

                 I know we had a few members on the group leave and that was cause of the drama going on in that community. Both Savannah and I had to ban 2 individuals after all the drama and this really has me wondering if I just made the wrong decision to stop having a fan page for this group. I wish I actually kept the fan page at this point but I can pin more then one thing at the top of the group so it has that plus. Anyways I am going to continue on with this group and if we lose a ton more to a point of 2 - 5 members, then yes, I'd consider closing it down but for the most part, I plan on keeping the group going and running regardless of the past few weeks, I am moving forward. Hope this explains a bit why I switched over and hopefully things improve for the better of the group. I will talk to you all tomorrow morning at 11 am EST for the usual blog post.

We've Moved From A Fan Page To A Group!

                If you are still on the fan page you probably noticed it has become a ghost town and no new posts have gone up on there since the morning and that was because someone reported my posts as "False news" when it isn't all my posts are factual and I have not once posted something that isn't true. This also effects me being monetized but I actually do not earn anything on there or any social media whatsoever, I have other sources of income from this technically. I speak the truth and nothing but the truth. Back to the fan page, yes it is a ghost town and pile of you guys 19 to be exact are in a group. That's right I've invited people over to a group which by Thursday will be locked as Private but visible to the Facebook community. This means you cannot see the posts unless you are in that group. I think this is the best idea. Also I will not be promoting the group for 2 weeks until the fan page is permanently deleted from the website. You probably noticed the Facebook button has been removed from the website and this is only temporary until the 2 weeks has passed and I get to actually delete the old fan page. So right now everything is in lock and key at this moment, for those who were on my Fan Page and now on the group itself, posts will resume as normal each and everyday. I Am Back On Facebook!

                After being in the sin bin aka Facebook Jail for a month and the last 10 days of my team unable to make posts I am back on Facebook as of 415 am EDT this morning. I have done the following to update you guys on things:

1) I have made Chels an Admin of the Page incase I go back to Facebook Jail for another month along with I have made Jasmine and Editor of the page so there is at least two people that have control of the Fan Page incase I land back into FB Jail again and I hope not and I promise to behave this time around and play nice with people. 

2) Chels has access to any of the staff groups which I wanna address that as something has happened, we had someone wanting to join the group but those groups are private and used for staff and podcast hosts only.

3) We have updated the fan page to the best of our ability what has gone on since the 27th of March today.

4) I am planning a live stream later on on the FB Page around 3 pm EDT and cannot wait to chat with you guys for a bit and get caught up what has transpired on the website etc. 

                I promise you guys to behave myself or I will try to (LOL). What matters is I am back on Facebook and back in the saddle once again and happy to be back to a more new normal for myself and it is business  as usual, podcasts tomorrow and Saturday morning and Monday, I return as the Owner of the Website as you know I have been off for the past month almost and it is time to return things back to normal again. It is long overdue. To be honest I was planning to return June 1st that was my goal but I think with me back things will be even better. Not saying Chelsea didn't do a bad job, she did amazing keeping an eye on things and what not but I miss being the Owner and I am ready to come back officially. I'm Back and I Got Concerns!

               I know it has been a while since i was around posting up regular daily posts recently and the reason was cause of the drama which I will not get into but my mental health has honestly been bad recently. That is why I've been on and off making posts recently and it is hard for my team to keep up with the posts on a regular day but I am trying to deal with all of this and get the work done within the studio especially podcasts for Entertainment Man Podcast and Power Rangers Podcast which I should have an update by end of the week if we will be going through an renewal as I am need of answers and so are you guys too! It has been long coming since all of this craziness whether we will be indeed renewing the collaboration podcast or not and I have a funny feeling that it will be happening I have that positive set and mind it will return for yet another section of the series here on our website. That has been one of my concerns with the amount of views we got and least we got views that is what matters, we're getting more views on the collaboration podcast then my own personal podcast but my podcast is newer and people have to discover it and are already discovering it. 

               The next thing I wanna address is our Facebook Page which has really gone down hill for the last month and I honestly have thought about closing it down and focusing on Twitter and Instagram like we use to but I have to remember we still have 56 loyal fans on the fan page and I just do not feel like I wanna turn my back on the fans on there or any fans. Yeah we have had some troll and disrespectful people recently but all we have to do is block or ban them from the page and I know and you guys know I do not like to ban people if I do not have to but I am just getting tired of the disrespect and b.s. that is coming with it and at this point if I have to ban, I will ban, no warning nothing. I've had to do that with 4 people already and I know we lose likes cause of it but we just want to keep the positive and no drama and for the most part we keep to ourselves and trying to not post negativity on our page.  That is my post and I am for the most part I am back and I will see you guys in tomorrow's blog post!

Will I Still Stream On Facebook and Instagram Live?

              Now with the announcement of the new Live Feature for Podcasts has been made the question I have is will I continue to do streams on Facebook and Instagram from time to time? The answer is yes. When I have a chance or announcement to make, I will most definitely go live and you can withhold me to that and right now there is no other announcement but I am not a fan of the live feature on Facebook and Instagram but if I need to make an announcement I definitely will. Don't expect it to be every day or couple of times a week. You will know when I go live to know what the announcement as you will be notified. I know I have had more requests for me to do live streams on the fan page and I would love to but I am a very busy person from maintaining the website to doing these posts to my own podcast and help getting the hosts onto the air as well as I am the one that setup that feature and the one that  has the key to the door to our stream on the website.

                Anyways, that is what I have to say and I know I am only going to be live on Facebook and my Instagram and I know you're going to ask what about the website well that is another story but in a nutshell I will be only live for Power Rangers Podcast at this point as you know my days for broadcasting are slim to non of me ever being a regular caster and as you know Power Rangers Collaboration Podcast is 3 times a year and I wanna save the airwaves for the other podcasts to be honest and when I said I am semi retired from casting I meant it and mainly if I was to cast it would be off my website or on the CBOTW social media's at this point. We've been banned off of Twitch, YouTube and other platforms. However I mean it I will pop up here on ChrisBOnTheWeb.com and socials from time to time but don't expect it to be often. We're Rebuilding Our Facebook Fan Page!

             The last few weeks has shown that some people do not wanna support us and just troll and be disrespectful and they know who they are. So we are doing a complete overhaul of our Facebook Fan Page and we need to start networking with people and get people over on our Facebook too besides Twitter and Instagram as it is. It is time to grow this community and if this means we have to move podcasts over to YouTube then so be it, we can definitely do that in the next few weeks we will. However we want to utilize the Facebook Page cause YouTube is not all that great anymore. It hasn't been good for years and this is why our podcasts are going to be on Facebook Fan Page and why we need to start networking and bringing more people on. Now we have just under 3100 followers thanks to people unfollowing us and re following so it does fluctuate however that's not the point I wanna make. The point is I can definitely bring people in from our Twitter and Instagram. We will get it fixed. I wanna eventually get over 100 likes at some point and it would really be nice and we use to have 80 something likes at one point but we had to remove people in the past for certain reasons but we will fix this. 

                

                 Give us some time to fix this and if we need to just record Audio ONLY till we fix the issue that could be something or even going live we could bring in new viewers and after all we will be using Streamyard for guests but for the most part they will be using the broadcaster or OBS to stream to the page. More information is to come very soon on that as things need to get fixed first before we do anything else. Social Media and Networking are the most important thing right now as we need to make sure we are troll free and it seems we have issues with this the last week or so. To those who are on there, thank you for continuing to support us and we will fix all of this eventually. There will be a time where we get new likes we just have to be patient through all of this.

I'm Back To Blogging!

           After several days of not blogging and taking some time off from the blogging and having my staff take it over on the blog here on the website, I have returned! As you know I was under so much stress in the past week and this week, I have dealt with some much drama I just was at a breaking point and I made that decision to walk away for a bit from social media and the website but still do the workload offline. However I was answering messages from friends and I was still active on my personal accounts I.E. Instagram as I was podcasting last weekend with a special guest which drops this weekend on Saturday. Anyways I have been editing the last couple of days and still going at it as this podcast that is dropping is 2 hrs and 28 mins long which probably be less on Audio ONLY but more on Video as any of that content on there will be unedited actually. Also been preparing this week's episode and a bonus episode on Monday hopefully by Sunday we will be announcing when Big Brother is coming on and if it will and also the plan for the YouTube channel. 

            There is a ton of work to be done either way and you probably noticed the last 1.5 days I became a bit more active and took the Twitter over in the last day and a half and that was a sign I was ready to start be active again and that is a good thing cause originally wasn't planning on coming back till Monday next week and taking a week off Social. Thank goodness I have a team to keep an eye on things while I was away. Now I do have to address something on Saturday about the whole YouTube thing as there was concerns with recent changes but I will address all of that Saturday's post and I am writing it this morning.  So I am back and I am raring to go with more content for you guys and excited to what we are going to be bringing to you guys!

Chris B On The Web Weekly Updates [05-31-2020]

                 I know it has been very confusing with things changing constantly and with us figuring things out with the website and content right now especially with Everything About Reality TV. We got some really cool stuff coming to the podcast and no it won't be just me but the other hosts are going to try and come up with ideas for a podcast related to their show. However for this to work, we are making decisions that are tough for us and this is what they are:

1) No Video Platform for Everything About Reality TV until we know what the plan is for Big Brother 22 so video platform is at the stand still for now and right now we are 4 weeks pretty much as of tonight until Big Brother 22 is supposedly to start and we have not been told anything as of yet. Amazing Race Canada, I just do not think it is going to happen at this point, they haven't yet recorded it yet and makes me wonder if they are waiting till things are back to normal or thinking of waiting till next year this is why we are on waiting to announce anything video wise but we know Tough As Nails is a go at this point. 

2) We've added our Hosts as Editors so they can make posts and update you guys on shows and their podcasts. Larry and Jeff are Moderators and able to remove comments. 

3) The next thing I want to address is at this point, Staff wise, I am am going to say for right now is we are not looking for any new Staff at this point. I am very much happy with the team we got right now. I want to keep the team small for right now and at this moment I think it is just the best to grow slowly not fast.

              Right now with Everything About Reality TV going into "Off Season" Mode, we are making the decisions and constantly around the clock trying constantly assessing things and the situation here in Canada and over all the world as the CBOTW Studios remains closed till restrictions are lifted. Those are the updates for the week and I surprised Chris by getting this completed Wednesday of last week many days before this was published on the website. Anyways I will talk to you guys next week, same time as usual. 

- The CBOTW Team
