Goals for 2024!

             That time of the year where I need to come up with goals for 2024, that was a tough decision to make but I came up with ideas for goals. As you know this year is slowly winding down, I've started to think about next year and the gal's I'd like to achieve. I have 4 or 5 for both personal and also professionally but I want to mainly focus on professionally: 

1- Improve Patience: I need to improve my patience as it can be a short fuse at a lot of times and something I need to really work on, especially and this one can be for both personally and professionally actually.

2- Get Power Rangers Podcast finished: This has been an ongoing problem with The CBOTW Show since June and been a thorn in my side but I feel positive I can finish this hopefully by February actually, latest March 2024 so we can take a break from this series and do movies and maybe even get started on preparing for Ghostwriter series which also a 90's show. 

4- Get Guest hosts for The CBOTW Show: It isn't a permanent position but always looking for people to collaborate with us on TV Shows and movies on a guest host basis and my assistant she's working on something that she's not telling me yet.

Achieved: 3- Fix The earnings: Another thorn in my side this year as we were earning money, the monetization but every time we earned it's suppose to be going into the earned column and it hasn't been moved over.  However I have started earning with Rumble so this goal has been achieved well prior to 2024 rolling around which is incredible honestly.

        Those are my goals for 2024 for ChrisBOnTheWeb Media wise and the post for today. It is a good amount of goals and I hope to achieve each one and as always I'll talk to you all tomorrow.

Happy New Year! [Goals for 2023!]

             First of all Happy New Year! Hope you guys had a safe and wonderful New Year thus far.  Today I wanna talk about my goals for 2023 so here it is:

1) Continue on Entertainment Man Podcast- Starting on January 8th, 2023, will be the 4th season of the podcast and I am very excited for it and cannot wait to start recording this week hopefully. 

2) Finishing up Power Rangers Collab- With the end of seasons getting close I wanna focus on getting all these seasons done at the right time frame and stick to a schedule for once and get things done.

3) The CBOTW Show- Re-launching this amazing podcast with new goals set out. As you know the goals is to do other shows with Larry on there and movies and beyond. Survivor may be a thing for recaps if I can find a host for that and I need to work on that very, very soon.

4) Not letting people take advantage of me- Being screwed out of 40 dollars for a product or painting done and not being reimbursed nor product presented to me and being scammed out of money. Not just that but also being screwed over for a podcast and not first or second time but 3rd in the last 3 years now. Being careful who I bring on the team.

             Anyways those are my goals and I know I will complete all 4 of these goals and I took it and put it on a doc and printed it off as a reminder of my goals for 2023. Have a great rest of your New Years Day and I will talk to you all tomorrow as we start the grind again.

Goals For This Week?

                    This week I got some goals in mind when it comes to ChrisBOnTheWeb which I will most definitely share today. This week is about me finishing up Megaforce and Super Megaforce, then the next goal is typing up the notes up for the 28th as that is when I am going next. But first is watching both seasons and at the rate I was going this morning I was going to get it done in no time and hopefully by tomorrow I will be done with this season to move on to Super Megaforce and to start it all over again. This is the # 1 priority this week, as the deadline is getting closer for me and if I keep going straight on I should get it done and finished so Larry and I can record.

                    Also this week, I do need to work on some more topics for the podcast as I need to finish up the topic side of things so I am going through each of them while I working on the seasons as I said above. So I am multi tasking to get this all finished and ready to go for the next phase of the plan. However today I worked a partial day today as I am with Eric today and I am not currently in the studio. Also I was suppose to do an interview but sort of a miscommunication so I am preparing a topic and I'm sorry there isn't an interview but promise to make it up to you in a few weeks as I have rescheduled that. However, I will have a topic ready to go for you guys for this weekend. Anyways those are the goals for this week and I will talk to you guys tomorrow for another post and also Happy Independance Day (4th of July) to my American Fans out there!

Goals To Accomplish This Week

                With the out of the norm this week with this community being up in arms chaotic and with me taking some time away to reflect and try to figure things out but I am working on smaller things this week and the reason for this post is I have some goals that I'd like to setout and get done this week:

1) Write some more episodes. not sure how many but as many as I really want to write. As long as I write some that is what really does matter and this would be more for Entertainment Man Podcast moving forward when I do not have any pocasts to record.

2) Read Chidi's book so I can get a following interview going in late May. This has been on my list of things to do and get done and if Larry and I need to do an additional recording for the collab in the fall so be it but this is more important right now. 

3) Power Rangers Collab- Samurai Podcast: This is on that long list of it must be edited and its a thorn in my side to edit cause of the bloody length of the podcast cause of a certain co-host goes on and on and on (LOL) Yes I'm calling you out, Larry! hahahaha! But hey it makes it what the podcast is! 

                Those are my goals and no pressure just an easier week after Easter and hope this helps with my mental health and gets me back in a better place  then I have been in lately and we will see when I write Monday's post but we still have tomorrow and the end of the week to do and who knows what it will be. But that is my post for today and I will talk to you all tomorrow.

Weight Loss Upate [01-27-2020]

         I know that I have not done an Weight Loss Update for a very long time now. The last one was 3 Months ago on October 12th of last year. Yeah, that is a long time and I promise you guys to try and update you all weekly on the regular old time slot on Saturdays starting next week here on the blog. You probably think why now Chris? The weight loss has become a loss cause well no not now. It is now 2020 and my New Years resolution is to really get back on the healthy track and that is what I'm going to do. I have started to have my smoothies and my goal is to get down below 222 pounds sometime in February and beyond that. I am still reiterating that I want to get below 220 and way below 200 pounds. I think I am now very much focused at the task at hand. I am also am allowing myself to have a fat day once a a week which is fine but I was at a fine line of 226 - 227 pounds again but I can officially say I am down to 224.2 pounds which is amazing! I want to continue to lose the weight and I will keep you guys in the loop on how things are going. 


         Either way I am back on the right track with things and excited for the next step and losing even more weight and I have definitely started cutting back on things which really does help. I plan on having more smoothies at least every second day at the most which are easy to make and very healthy if you ask me. However baby steps that is the actual plan right now and if I gain a pound no big deal, I will just have to work a little harder then I guess but I am sure I will lose it but I have to remember I cannot lose the weight very fast honestly and it is not healthy to lose the weight too fast and again it is honestly one step at time. So that is where I'm at with the weight loss and I am now under way with losing the weight and let's see if I can finally get back on the right track and start losing the weight as I want to lose it really bad and this is about me really wanting for this change.

Did I Accomplish Everything In 2019?

             I forgot to mention this in my year end year in review and the question I am posing to myself is did I accomplish everything I wanted this year? Yes of course I did! I will list them in this post today.

1) Everything About Reality TV- I successfully covered the second season of Music City on CMT and it was clearly in the plan soon as I heard about it returning for the second season of the series which now we do not know what the plan is for the series at this moment as we are waiting on a renewal from CMT and I can honestly tell you I really do not know what to expect as I haven't been in touch with them in almost a year but have that grim hope it will come back but again I still was able to manage to cover both season 1 and season 2. Also covered the second season of Celebrity Big Brother which was a huge success for being the first and only time that we covered the show before they decided to not renew it this season. The podcast we set out on everything we wanted to minus one thing which I will mention after at the end of this post.

2) Website Growth- Successfully reached the 50k mark on the website which is entirely amazing and ever since we got the growth we have seen a massive growth and currently at the 62k mark and this year we could see the 100k mark this year within or past the 1 year mark so it is so astonishing honestly and excited to see what is next for CBOTW this year moving forward.

3) Power Rangers Collaboration- Might of not gotten 2 of them done but still the viewership was up and you guys know it is twice a year as my schedule is busy between February and end of May with Everything About Reality TV but in the end as long as the numbers are steady that is what really matters. It is indeed a numbers game for us here at CBOTW and the views stay up then we will continue on as Larry has told me and I haven't given him the numbers but should next time hes here a week tomorrow.

4) Being Self-Employed- Finally get to do this as a job as I have started to earn money with the website


           In the end  I believe I achieved all the goals I set out and last year was amazing but the only thing that I failed to achieve with CBOTW is the Big Brother 21 Recaps, I mean I did do it but then gave up near the end of the season as things got out of control. However this year I know it will be a great year with a new "podcast" joining the ranks at some point this year which no confirmation as of yet and also the addition of Jasmine for Everything About Reality TV there are more goals set for this year and even Steven has joined the team so this team is becoming bigger and honestly I think we have all the team that we need at this moment.

We Need To Talk About Everything About Reality TV Podcast....

         I Got a goal for Everything About Reality TV and yes I have been working hard on the longer episodes but according to a poll I did a while back, you guys preferred quality over quantity so they does help me quite a lot too. I am finding out I look at the program I am recording and it is 30 minutes or more. I just love making content. However there is still room for improvement and I need to address this, I have recently lost 2 subscribers on the Castbox platform and I have made up and have posted up the podcast close to on schedule. I guess you guys got tired of it but I thank those who stuck with it despite the schedule but don't forget the podcast has only been on Audio ONLY for 2.5 years so it will take time for people to find the podcast on there but there is other platforms that are listened to. So goal # 1 is to get the podcast up on the day it is suppose to be up not the next day or the day after. It may take some time to get a good rhythm going again but with me running back and forth from here to the studio, my timetable right now is out of sync so it could be a late post tonight it could not be. That is why I said you can follow me on social media: Twitter/Instagram @ChrisBOnTheWeb constantly in case something like this happened. I should of rescheduled today but making an effort to get it up today. Another goal to get a longer podcast I need to expand on my points which I have been doing and I would like to get more of my opinion not just taking what is off my notes what was said. Not sure if you guys are liking the live feed ideas so over the next day I may go back to the Friday episodes on top of the Survivor I will do that, twice a week not the 3 times a week. No live feeds as you guys seem to not care and maybe it is best to move forward that we do the recaps 


          I definitely in room for improvement, I think it is what you guys want well, we will see what happens and I always think about you guys first. Now I am not doing a public poll but my Alumni and I are in discussions and I opened a poll over Twitter for over the next 2 days and we will figure out why I am losing subs and how to repair the issues. Like I said, if I have to I will go back to the bare bones of the podcast with the BB Canada which that is what I think is one of the main issues. Survivor Recaps are doing quite fine, I think it comes down to fact you guys are not interested in hearing live feed stuff on the recaps so I think that definitely has a factor in it. That could be it's own podcast alone if I wished but I think I know what the heck is going on and end of this week, may result to schedule change next week which I will announce on a second blog post at the end of this week so fair warning, there may be an additional Friday Post or a switch on Friday's post. I wanna make things right and make it right fast as I do not wanna go back to restarting from the start of things.

Weight Loss Update....

         Well, my weight went up again as I was at 222.8 pounds and now I am at 224.4 pounds, I may of over my calories count but yet I should of not gained 2 pounds if I went just over but never know what happened but moving forward I am going to be watching my calorie count which is the main focus on my diet is to have 1800 calories or less each and everyday. I mean it could be water weight from yesterday but we do not really know what caused me to go up. I could of gained a pound and the other pound is just water weight. I really gotta start trying harder with the weight loss and getting below 220 pounds and I am going to start taking some action with this. Today is a new day so I am going to take action and work hard to getting the weight back down. The calories is the major factor with my weight loss journey. I think when I do watch my calorie count that is when I end up losing the weight so I am working my $#@! off. 


          I am updating my goal as I do not wanna over push myself too hard with losing weight so my first goal for 2019 is to get myself to 215 pounds which is like 9 pounds from now. I have said this before, I want to actually go with small goals at a time and I want to even go 10 pounds at a time which isn't overly a large number at all so I can work with that and it is easier and I am not pressuring myself to work so hard to a point of me not eating. I am eating but not as much, the portion size is not as much and I have noticed I do not eat as much at meals which is good. Also I have been watching the bread and have 2 pieces of bread a week then just 1 on other days of the week. Amount of sugar is now limited per day which is good too.


               Either way once I lose the weight I am sure my knees will be feeling much better as I am in pain with my knees and I am sure I have done some damage to the knees with my weight and I am unsure if it will get better or I will need to do even more physio or something else, I just do not sure what the status of my knees will be once I am eventually at 200 pounds or my entire weigh goal down the road which is still the same goal as before, around 175 - 180 pounds which I know is a lot but in time I will be there. I have no timeline to losing the weight, like I said I am taking my time. Finally I have decided to go on a weight loss every 2 weeks instead of weekly as I feel like it is just better to do an update every second week.

Weight Loss Update (Sat. Jan 12th, 2019)

            After being sick with the Flu around Christmas, I lost 4 pounds within the couple of days that I was sick so it wasn't the way I wanted to lose the weight but since there I have maintained around 223 to 222 pounds and this morning I weighed exactly 223 pounds at this point of time which is amazing I am able to maintain. Mind you just 2 days ago I weighed 223.8 pounds but have since lost those ounces in my weight so I am officially down 0.8 ounces at this point. Like I said before, I was up a bit from the amount of weight. Now day or so after I was feeling better I was down to 221 pounds which I haven't been down there for a very long time and I mean a long time I haven't been down there for the longest time in months and I kind of stopped at 221 pounds and ended up gaining a tad bit back which isn't a good thing. 


            Moving forward, I am planning to definitely on working had to losing more weight getting below 220 pounds. My first goal is to get myself down to 210 pounds as is my next weight goal then I move on to the next goal, then the next goal but one step at a time and I plan on not rushing losing the weight fast whatsoever. I need to take it one step at a time but I like the fact that my pants now fit me but some shirts do not fit me right now but soon enough I will be able to fit into shirts that never fit me before which will definitely be nice. 


              How the heck do I lose the weight? I lower the amount of sugar I have everyday, I also am eating much healthier and lowering down the calorie count to 1800 calories per day and not everyday I have bread I usually have bread every second day as of right now. I just don't even think about having even a slice of bread a day which I allow myself 2 slices once a week but I just do not think about it for some bizarre reason.  Either way I am going to work extremely hard to lose the weight and get at a healthy weight not being obese anymore and I mean every word of it, I will lose this weight. I am not going to give up whatsoever on this weight loss journey.

Weight Loss Update #1

               After almost 4 and a half months of being on this diet, I have officially lost 21 pounds which I think is amazing! I worked really hard to lose the weight over the course of the 4 months and I got more to come to get to my goal which hopefully around 175 maybe 170 pounds is the weight I would like to be at as a final goal. However right now I would like to be at 200 pounds by Big Brother Canada Finale, I know that's quite a tough goal to get to in such a short time because with next week being Week 5 of Big Brother Canada, I got 5 weeks to reach that goal, lets just aim for 210 for May 18th, 2017 which is possibly the Finale date for Big Brother Canada. You never know what will happen between now and that day, all I know I will work hard to get to that 200 marker so I can aim further to my goal of 170 pounds. If you wonder that is the weight I dropped to when I was in the hospital almost 14 years ago when I had the ruptured appendix which I was in the hospital for 3 week, you can imagine how much I lost, my stomach was very bloated from the poison in my body but the aftermath I lost like 30 pounds, I probably weighed around 200 - 210 pounds before the strange illness came in. But I want to aim for 170 at the most and lose that much weight and try and stay at that weight for now on but it will be a tough road to do but I think I am up to the challenge of getting to that weight and maintaining it right now. Hopefully losing weight will fix my fatty liver problem but we will see later on this morning when I go see my family doctor says and hopefully it is just more weight loss that will get the fatty liver down to it's normal size, no specialist or anything as I am already seeing another specialist out in Ajax in July. Another reason I wanted to lose weight was to get my butt back in gear for baseball in 2018 as I will be officially making my return to baseball but kind of scared to because of me possibly blowing out my knee once again like I did in 2013 or 2014.

        But Finally I am very happy with the progress that has happened with me losing that tremendous amount of weight and I want to continue on with losing the weight because when I weighed 239 pounds I wasn't one bit happy with the weight but now weighing at 218 pounds I feel much, much happier then I have been in the past.

Happy New Year! | 2017 New Years Resolutions/Goals!

First of all Happy New Year! Hope you all had a wonderful New Years and were safe throughout the holiday. I actually relaxed for once and played some video games spent time with my parents as it was once again a very very quiet New Years as we didn't have the neighbors this year once again but I am sure we will see em at some point to celebrate New Years.  With 2017 being here now, there are a lot of things I would like to put behind me and work on as a New Years resolution. With that here are my New Years Resolution for this year. 

1) Continue to lose weight and try and aim for my goal by the summer if possible. I know if I put my mind to it I can do it.

2) Put all the Ex Staff Drama behind me and not even worry about them and I got the opition to not talk to them and/or give them the silent treatment. 

3) Try and build on to my website chrisbontheweb.com and move on from YouTube and try and get over the fact my YouTube Channel pretty well went downhill after my staff quit on me.

4) Be more positive as a person and be more open to how I feel when frustrated.
