This Website Has a Terms of Use Now In Effect!

I know Chris more then likely did a post about the new "Terms of Use" on this website. This is why I am making a mid week appearance as I am the one that put together the TOU (Terms of Use) and Chris gave me the yes looks good or thumbs up on the entire wording. Not everything was changed but added in our own rules for the Social Media aspect of the TOU and also the Website aspect of the Terms. The Website was a bit more work as we have two elements to the website in the way of communication, the chatroom which is our Community Lounge and also the commenting on the blog that go between myself and Chris from a day to day or week to week basis. The Terms of Use was created by Chris and I because of the Terms of Service because of the disrespect and drama towards both of us. This all happened over the weekend into the early week and we both agreed to implement this so you guys have to follow rules now thanks to the drama and disrespect. Honestly we do not have time to actually deal with petty drama and it can stay off Chris's website because his site has done amazing and it hit over 10K for the month again and it keeps hitting that stride for the last 2 months which is incredible it's getting the views. I know the last couple of days numbers are lower then usual but it's that time of the year.

You are wondering where you can find the Terms of Use? Well at the very bottom where you can find the Terms of Use and it is a yellow word which is linked by You can also find it by going here: https://www.chrisbontheweb.com/p/terms-of-use.html. I expect and ask you guys to give Chris a break. He is working countless hours on the podcast and he is working a lot of long hours, giving up sleep for you guys, going to bed early to be up at the wee hours of the night to get a head start so he can get the podcast recorded and yes I am referring to the Collab which is near it's hiatus which is coming in January. We recently saw an influx of spam in the chat as a guest or anon and we had to ban due to spam if I remember correctly it is in the Terms as well we won't put up. Some rules we are going to be more stricter then others. We wanna make sure this website stays clean and the trolls can simply STAY OUT as I am now protecting Chris from the trolls that have been around the community. We thank you guys for your support and I will talk to you all on Sunday and the boss will be back blogging tomorrow.

False Flagging on YouTube....

I am appalled at the false flagging on YouTube... I mean really? Here is the short end of the story, a friend of mine, got suspended for 2 weeks and they have minded their own business on the platform making great quality content as usual as I have been a subscriber for nearly 2 years now. I mean they did nothing wrong. This makes no sense, why report them when they haven't commented inappropriately nor break the Terms of Service on the platform? We both have an idea who it is and it is not worth to mention their name whatsoever. However false flagging is not cool and I wish it would be against the terms of service to false flag, because it is against the TOS on IVlog.tv which is a broadcasting platform but they have it on their terms of service false flagging will result in a ban from using the platform. YouTube sure needs to start cracking down on the false flagging soon, because it is ridiculous on this happening to not only my friend but I have been a victim of that once, when I never broke the terms of service, whatsoever.

Honestly, I am now happy with me being off the platform and doing my own thing and my own content now to this day. I am very much happier where I am at right now and hopefully will work harder on it in the coming months. But honestly YouTube needs to get their act together and realize non of my friends content is against the terms or service. The person just wants them off the platform for certain reasons and I have already reached out to The YouTube Team to try help him out and get his suspension lifted because I know he's not broken terms of service or seen any video that is hateful whatsoever so YouTube needs to do something about this false flagging because people will not wanna be on the platform anymore if they keep being false flagged. I know the algorithm isn't great but something has to be done. This is why I am making my voice heard on today' blog post as I would like to see something done about this false flagging which isn't necessary and waste of YouTube's time to check the channel for a TOS violation.

YouTube Advertisers Pulling Out, YouTubers Losing Revenue!

I have holding back with this blog post for a while now as I wasn't sure how to write this blog out or how to word this blog post but as most of you know YouTube has not been doing overly well since I left the platform at the end of June with the change of the TOS (Terms of Service) and their policies has changed drastically especially when it comes to the YouTuber's that earn revenue from their videos the terms are so much different since I departed from YouTube almost an year ago. One change if you very bad language then you will be demonetized, same with talking about very touchy subjects like issues going on in the world  such as depression as an example of why YouTube will not allow it. Even with all these new terms of service a lot of big name YouTubers has lost revenue on their videos and it is a shame too because YouTubers like him put his time and a lot of effort into the videos yet they are getting demonetized? Even with cursing... Like come on! It was never like that when I was still part of the community, I never got demonetized cursing even if I added the bleep sound into it. It is truly sad to see how the platform has turned out. I understand the not ad friendly part of it but what happened to freedom of speech and content creators now gotta be careful what they say

Just recently the advertisers have pulled their ads from videos on YouTube which obviously means YouTubers will not be getting as much revenue from their videos as they were getting before which means a lot of YouTubers have moved to Twitch.tv to vlog or lifecast their lives now.  I never had anything to back myself out on if YouTube continued these ways so you can see Twitch growing as a community very very quickly if YouTubers continue to move to Twitch.tv. It is sad to see such a great platform like YouTube go down the drain in the way of revenue and it hurts the great content creators out there and a lot of YouTubers are upset and I saw one vlogging group leave end of last year and I have noticed a lot of people have left the platform. All I know change has to happen if YouTube is to continue on the right path to success.

Have a great day!

Chris
