Podcasts-- Fall 2020-- What's New and What's Returning?

This post was suppose to be up the other day but due to the issues of the interface with the blog this got delayed. There is a new podcast coming and there is projects that are going to be returning to the lineup and this is to announce what Chris and the rest of the team has in stored for 2020 - 2021 season.

Entertainment Man Podcast: It is finally returning after almost a 5 month Hiatus, Chris's personal podcast which will be recorded and posted up each and every week on the Audio ONLY Platforms. He already did an episode or mini episode since it was only 14 mins long not the full 20 - 30 min episode he usually produces and puts up. He has already confirmed that Sunday, September 6th, 2020 @ 1 pm EST the first episode will be put up.

Sports Talk With Bulldog: A New Podcast that is joining the lineup of the 3 podcasts and will be also starting towards the middle of September. What I know of it will be both Video (YouTube) and Audio ONLY Platforms. Chris will also be active as Senior Advisor for Billy's podcast and if Billy cannot make it one week then Chris has been willing to step in if worse comes to worse but you will see Chris behind the scenes for the most part.

Power Rangers Collab Podcast: The Podcast you all know and Love will be returning this fall with a bit of a make up schedule for the podcasts. At the end of September he will be making up the Wild Force season then they two guys will be back in December for Ninja Storm and Dino Thunder as well then the two of them will decide what the next timetable is for the next set of podcasts that are gonna be done if Chris decides to continue as he's already put no interest in continuing but we will see how he feels in December.

There is our amazing lineup. Not all schedules are confirmed as we are just in the month of August but in time we will be announcing schedule wise soon hopefully. Some platforms still need to be created and put together and soon as Chris is finished with Time Force, it is on his priority list while he watches Wild Force and gets ready to record in September for his next collab and that also goes for the Video side of some of the projects but not all of them.

Changes and Announcements

Over the last couple of days so much has happened since Mark announced what was going with Chris B On The Web. So this is I guess is another update and you know I love to keep you guys in the loop on things, so this is why this is yet another update 2 days later. So here are the updates:

Website:  Chats been moved to a single tab as the Big Brother idea probably will not work out so we will have one general chatroom called "Lounge" which is now active and open to the public. Yes we actually did open it to guests if you choose to not make an account but we still encourage it. However if guests get too rowdy like before and this is years ago then we will go back to where you have to login.  Also we've added the Live (YouTube) on our website with coming soon. Also CBOTW Gamers Podcast was removed and The CBOTW Show is under Other Podcasts and I will get to that shortly on this post why we removed it and moved the podcasts I mentioned.

Everything About Reality TV: Myself, Larry (Our Co-Founder & Senior Producer) and our host for Big Brother Recaps made the executive decision to indeed do YouTube. Now there is no ETA when we will actually launch it at this point as we're still waiting on Big Brother 22 news and at this point nothing, nadda zip. I said this to Chris (Reality Teas) I am sick and tired of the rumors and just want more information. You know this is harming the podcast with lack of podcasts right now and we're trying our best. Speaking of that it doesn't sound like Amazing Race Canada is a no go and the reason is because of production has been postponed so it is sounding like they are going to wait till next year which really hurts the podcast but we understand it is because of this pandemic and it is always safety first for the cast and crew of the show.

The CBOTW Show: As I said above The CBOTW Show was moved up and now under Other Podcasts as I cannot put numerous show pages. I just do not wanna complicate this website too much as it is very complicated and complex as it is. So all shows will be under 1 page at this point. We will adding more shows later but this is the start. We also have our 2 Audio ONLY pages as of right now as we're waiting on Stitcher to fix our feed which wasn't fixed technically but besides the point really.

CBOTW Gamers Podcast: We're back to square one with this podcast and it was decided by me to just cancel the podcast all together and 0 plans and interest in bringing it back at this point as we just couldn't work things out with the host so it is just better it is on the shelf for good this time around. This is a business decision as this has been going back and forth for years now and at this point this podcast is not going to see production anytime.

I have every right as I am the Executive Producer for the programming you see on this very website and have darn right to cancel is put a podcast on hiatus to where I see it fit as I know I had one person not so happy with me but you gotta realize I am the one that has the power to do all that and it is my decision in the end. However that is what is going on with Chris B On The Web and anymore updates or developments especially in our Reality TV Department, we will let you all know soon!

Plans For Everything About Reality TV 5th Anniversary

I know this has been an on going question since we hit the New Year what the plan is with the Podcast's 5th Anniversary on September 24th, 2020 of this year? Yes we are planning something and with the podcast between seasons, we just haven't thought about anything really. If I cannot get the entire Everything About Reality TV Team on, then it would be just Larry and I that record. However the reason I have kept a lot of information from you guys is not because I don't wanna give you guys information I do but right now it comes down to if the video platform will be launched and if Survivor comes back it comes down if we are going to be on YouTube in the fall and the shows is the main reason but we are talking about it behind the scenes it's just a waiting game on shows due to the shows may be held off till next year so we are waiting. However I will be inviting the other hosts on and it is first come and I do not want to over do the podcast guests and probably limit to 3 of us on the podcast but there is still time honestly to go and to decide things.

I know 4 months is not a very long time to be honest with you guys and I haven't stopped thinking about this big momentous occasion and I promise you guys we will do something even if video doesn't go through right away but again it depends when to launching the channel, if Big Brother happens in a few weeks from now, Survivor this fall, it comes down to all of that. If we do not launch video for quite sometime from now, then we will be definitely Audio ONLY but we will try and figure it out in the upcoming weeks from now. I got one idea in the back of my mind which I will explain in the upcoming weeks and I think it is a great idea I have. You will see but again if I do this idea then we will be doing the 5th Anniversary Live for sure! More details to come next week in a blog post.

Taking Chris B On The Web More Seriously...

I have been thinking about things lately and really taking CBOTW seriously. I want to do things right as the last few months has been really busy for us getting things sorted out since the return of Everything About Reality TV and having three Staff departed on us. Honestly I want staff who are going to commit to our content and that is what we are doing. I know I am all over the place making decisions and deciding what is what right now and like Chris (Reality Teas) told me were trying things out and working around the issues together as a team.  I know things are confusing and you guys got ton of questions with things but in time you guys will know what is going on with the content. As you know Entertainment Man Podcast is put on the wayside right now I know you guys were wondering about that but don't worry you can find it under the archives page if you want to catch it up. With taking things a bit more seriously and making sure we fit every bit and pieces properly. It is a day to day thing and really I know you guys want information and we will give it to you guys. We can say tho we are bringing out content for you guys starting June 3rd, 2020 @ 8 pm EST and yes I am referring to Everything About Reality TV.

Either way I am taking things a bit more seriously and been making changes with the website and added one more member of the team. However you will know more on this weekend's update post. Either way I wanna make sure things run smoothly and with things slowly shifting as we are exploring video platforms again, we have to change schedules around and constantly readjusting the scheduling and I think we got it figured out at this moment I think, no guarantees its is all up to what is going to happen with those two shows. Also I have started a Discord Community which isn't released publicly yet but will make it public soon! Going to get the team on there first before we make things public!

Been Over Thinking This Whole YouTube Thing!

I feel like I have been over thinking with this entire YouTube thing to be honest and this is why I am making a second post for today. Least you cannot say I am doing content. As you know the team and I are preparing to bring Everything About Reality TV Podcast back to YouTube and I spoke to you guys in the early afternoon about the state of our podcast and that we are planning to return to YouTube soon. After this post went up, I had time to think about things and I think I am definitely over thinking things and I wanna for now take these steps to grow the podcast channel of ours:

  1. Not worry about earning money from the channel and take the time to really grow the channel and build up the viewership on there over the course of time.
  2. Bring on the shows that we are going to cover on the podcast and fans from the Audio ONLY Platforms. Which really prove to be quite difficult to do at this moment as we are between seasons however.
  3. Get the hosts setup to stream on the channel and try to stream on the channel to ensure they are up and running on the channel.
  4. Not to rush the growth of this channel and really grow it slowly. I do not wanna push the channel too fast and was at fault for that when I wanted to launch the channel at the end of a season.
  5. Make a guest appearance here and there and I made a promise to Billy to come on one of his Survivor Recaps as we couldn't make it work with the 2 of us.
Those are steps I want to follow and really take the time to adjust to the video side of things. Honestly I will not be live on there as much as you guys think but Chris (Reality Teas) and Billy will be on there most of the time and I am on there on February/March each year. Right now we focus on the Audio ONLY stuff and YouTube will return one day soon. We have to do it when the time is right and with a month to go till Big Brother is to air, we just do not know when it will air to be honest. Just gotta take one step at a time especially with YouTube.

Everything About Reality TV Podcast Major Updates

Chris did a post about the podcasts this morning but that was more the status and I got more information from him that I want to share as I know this isn't a Monday but as you guys know I am stepping down from Survivor Recaps as Billy is replacing me. There is a reason behind it as I want the Staff behind the podcast as involved as much as possible.  Chris is still around the podcast and is still very much involved and most involved in the earlier part of the year and the summer but again it depends on the scheduling but this is to clear up any confusion to what the plan moving forward is.  Yes he spoke about Sequester however it will not be in the list as of right now.  Anyways let's start with what platform the shows are on followed by the Hosts but don't worry it won't be a long post:

Video & Audio ONLY (Includes Host of The Podcast):

- Survivor (Hosted By Billy)

- Big Brother (Hosted By Chris, Reality Teas)

- Big Brother Canada (Hosted by Boss Man Chris, Me)

Audio ONLY (Includes The Host of The Podcast):

- Amazing Race US (Hosted By Boss Man Chris, Me)

- Amazing Race Canada (Hosted By Boss Man Chris, Me)

So there is the current list and like I said there is our list and right now, we have kept out ONE show and the reason is we do not have a host for it at this moment and I am not going to say what show at this moment but never know we will explore the option again in the future I'm sure. So for right now there is the updates and Yes he knows he is only hosting one podcast on BOTH Video & Audio ONLY once and the rest is Audio ONLY... LOL! The fact he's not a really big YouTube fan these days but least he can help the team out behind the scenes and play a more of an Executive Producer role. However do not forget he also have Amazing Race and Amazing Race Canada on the list and we just found out that Amazing Race has been renewed for supposedly Season 33 which is on hold but we know right now that was put on hold due to the state of the world. Any changes or adjustments will be brought up on this blog.

Thanks everyone, have a great rest of your evening,

-  The CBOTW Team

History of Everything About Reality TV

As most of you guys know, Everything About Reality TV has been on the air for nearly 5 Years now but I want to get more in depth with the history. Now this all started in January 2015 and I know you are raising an eyebrow to that but let me explain. I experimented with Recapping Reality TV shows which got some good response over the few videos I posted up. So over the few months I started to really think and my thought was hey this really works and let's bring this into a reality. So September 24th, 2015, we recorded our very first episode of the Podcast. We continued on YouTube up to end of June 2016.  We covered Survivor, Amazing Race, Big Brother Canada and Hell's Kitchen during our first 2 seasons of the Podcast which honestly it was only 2 seasons but that's how she got her start in 2015 and never will forget how it all began. Larry left the podcast in January 2016 but came back as a guest on a podcast at the Big Brother Canada Season 4 Finale. As I ended my YouTube career came to where is the podcast going to go now? I decided to take a break from the podcast for a summer hiatus while I rebuilt the website from the ground up. In the fall 2016, we started on Audio ONLY over on Mixcloud then moved over to what we are on to this current day over on Podcasts.com, Stitcher and all the platforms you see the podcast on which is 19 platforms if you guys are wondering!

In November 2019 which was a few months ago, I almost made the decision to stop the podcast and move on to other projects. However thanks to messages and emails from you guys the podcast continues on with it's journey. Also last month, January we had the addition of Jasmine as Producer and Host of Big Brother Canada and Big Brother US Recaps on our podcast so it is exciting indeed but exhausting getting them ready but you know it is worth it in the end. I wanted to go big this year and we are indeed. This is the just the start of things. We have quite the history and in this post I gave you guys some insight on things that you never really knew about in the years you guys knew about and now you guys now see how this all came to be. I hope you guys enjoyed today's post and tomorrow I will be doing a history of The Entertainment Man Talk Show to end this mini series of posts off.

Big Brother Canada Finale and What's Next For Me?

Well with Big Brother Canada 7 finished for the season and it was one heck of a season and I know my picks were evicted but in the end I kind of figured it would be Dane and Anthony in the end and wasn't surprised that it was a 7 - 0 vote which is the 3rd unanimous vote in Big Brother here in North America. Who. First of all Dan from season 10 of Big Brother U.S 7 - 0 vote, Kevin from Big Brother Canada 3 and won the 5th season 9 - 0 and now Dane who won 7 - 0 vote this season. I was looking forward to this finale for the past few weeks and what an amazing night! I just didn't get to watch it with Larry but Dave joined us to watch the finale and then do the finale recap live on YouTube which I do have an announcement which is coming over the next couple of days. I made it clear with Dave if he doesn't go to the finale next year as I think more then likely there will be an 8th season of Big Brother Canada, he is more then welcome to actually come back for that next year as next year will be the 6th annual Finale Party... haha. Anyways, it was one of the best finales yet and I really enjoyed myself and I got something else to look forward to this week as well.

What is that you may ask? Survivor Edge of Extinction Finale is this week and this one I am on my own for that one but for right now I am decompressing from the last 10 weeks as I have been so busy with the podcasts non stop I am taking some time off this weekend from any work but hopefully by Tuesday, I am going to be back working on things for Chris B On The Web in time but for right now I am decompressing hence why the social is a bit more quiet but I am still around and posting here and there with updates but I think over the next couple of days, I will be probably doing some gaming over the next couple of days and decompressing from a busy 10 weeks but don't worry I am still thinking about what is next on the list for the Podcast and Chris B On The Web and I know what is next but like I said I need some time off right now and that is my # 1 priority right now but not far off from returning to normal work schedule.
