We Need to Address This!

                We love that you guys are actually subscribing to our newsletter but inappropriate emails isn't really necessary especially using our website name in it. Chris and I spoke briefly about it yesterday and any inappropriate email names will be subject to removal from our list. We will not tolerate the spam sign ups and why we have put on the captcha to stop this abuse. 

              Now Discord which we have been enjoying every moment of it but this time with the inappropriate names you will be banned on site! We are not going to tolerate it and you will not be UN-banned from our server whatsoever. Chris has been mentoring me as the new Director of Operations, now taken over the company and we have had to make a few tough decisions with our communities and it was necessary. Just Some Random Updates

                Since I am the Director of Operations which I do the day to day operations of the company and we know things are a bit strange especially with The CBOTW Show-- TV & Movie Podcasts and Chris is planning to release at least one tonight at 6 pm EST and he napped for a few hours and got up and was in the studio at 130 am EST. It shows a ton of dedication to making things better.

        As I said in the weekly newsletter, we are moving our posts to Sunday mornings at this moment as we think it is better and it is the start of the week and it makes a lot more sense to us and our analytics say Mondays are better but we want to send it out at the beginning of the week not the second day. Chris and I did a back and forth over this but I am happy the newsletter is doing so well. Those are a couple of updates and thank you to Chris for allowing me to talk about a couple of things and I hope to come back next week to write another. We are progressing well things for us.

Feeling the Good Positive Vibes with our Newsletter.

          Our newsletter has been doing very, very well. we have been keeping up with our analytics and honestly we need a specific time it goes out on Mondays. It is the best day to release the newsletter and the stats actually shows. Zoey as really done an fantastic job with the newsletters and very proud how far she's come with releasing it each and every week. She works closely with me so she knows exactly what transpires in the company and our community. 

          I know there isn't new people signed up and all we need to do is the PR work (Public Relations) end of it. Pretty much promote our Newsletter more and more and I have a few ideas I've thrown around to our Director of Operations and she agrees so stay tuned for that post to go up so we can continue to grow our newsletter list and the newsletter in general. Anyways that is the post for today and as always I will talk to you all tomorrow!

Newsletter Signup is complete! What's Next?

                 After a long battle with the code we have our newsletter setup and ready for new subscriptions. Already have had one or two and will remind you guys from time to time but it is easy to see. Please be patient with us as we design our newsletter over the next 6 months as we evolve and grow the newsletter as we've never done this before in the history of ChrisBOnTheWeb Media nor The Video Projects Team so we are fairly new to this as a feature on the website. We are very excited that this feature is finally out there!

          What's next for us? Merch and Sara will talk about this on Monday on the newsletter with our what's new and upcoming section of the newsletter! We have so many different ideas and I am excited for the first edition and will be reading it as I subscribed to it myself so I can see what she says each and every week. We need some new ideas for services free services and paid and we've considered the free 30 minute call thing but not add a form but just use an email as trolls seem to have fun spamming it and apparently reported and got it removed but it is what it is, we were planning to phase out the forms instead and the pages kind of need a revamp and we will be going through all the pages revamping each of the pages as it's long overdue. There is more news but she will cover it on Monday. Have a great weekend and talk to you all on Monday under our new schedule.

Projects We Want to Work On!

                 There are projects we want to complete and right now is not the right time as you know boss man is out of the province but still is in Canada but not the point of my post today. There are two major things we want to complete before summer hits and here are the two features we want to work on:

Newsletter: I know we've talked about it a lot the last month to 2 months now and it is not as easy as you think as Chris needs to code the popup into the website. The NO right click has been implemented to our website probably since the start almost 10.5 years ago. That will be the first phase of the plan in June while Chris takes some time away from Ghostwriter till later in June. 

Merch: I know we have been approached about Merch and it didn't seem to have worked out too well as we didn't get a reply back but we are looking into other platforms that would want to work with us and get some ChrisBOnTheWeb Merch setup and somehow link it to the website. We will keep you informed when that stage begins. 

          Anyhoo, that will be it for me and I'm sorry for no regular updates and maybe this is something I can do between now and before we switch our schedule around as Weekly Updates being discontinued on this blog and moved to the Newsletter which I will be personally doing. I will chat with you all next week.

Updates from the Boss Man!

             Well, things have been chaotic and been solely focused on content the last few weeks and one of the reasons this website is missing an key factor to our website and that is the newsletter. This is something we are working on and by the time I get back from 3 - 4 days from out of the province, I will be sure to get working on that. I think I do know how it works. I have an idea how it will work and know it will be a very successful new piece to this. 

            Honestly we have started to question the end of the week updates or as it's now called "Weekly Updates" as it was suppose to already be removed off the blog but we've hit a snag in the plan as we are not sure how to put the sign up on our website yet plus we want to do a pop up but not sure how to do that as the site is very, very full and the pop up would be the best way for us and having it. We would have to arrange a few things first of all. Those are the few things going on right now and we are slowly getting things done and I will do a video this weekend. I will talk to you all tomorrow.

Projects To Be Completed!

               There are some projects that has been put to the side and some that still need to be completed and here is the list:

1) Getting the old shorts re-uploaded- We hope to have it done by the fall at the most as I am trying to post the old ones 4 - 5 times on Sundays and Fridays which are our more freer schedule for content. 

2) Newsletter- We are trying to come up with the best way to create the sign up and a pop up to remind you guys to join our newsletter. It's been a while since I created a pop-up but that was only if you right click on the website. It is work in progress.

3) Is to label all episodes with the season and episode numbers- I realize it is not all labeled on the episodes and something that's been ticking me off seeing it from my phone on iTunes particularly. 

            Really it's not a lot to do but still things that are on our list of things to complete and we will get it done don't you worry. Anyways that is the post for today and as always I will talk to you all tomorrow.

Weekly Updates for 04-04-2025

                   First of all, I am sorry for the really late blog, had some tech issues and had to call the boss man as he was out this afternoon and things are now fixed on my end. But this week has been interesting for us and busy as heck and rarely have time for ourselves, like boss man getting ready for coaching, adding new pages and features to the website. It is just so much going on, he's starting to doubt the podcasts and I told him not to think that way. He will find time. I mentioned why not just take one of the podcasts off video more pertaining to The CBOTW Show but he refused to so what can I do. 

                  However with this dilemma and problem, came a solution from yours truly.  I suggested he doesn't do Fridays. English please Sara!- What I mean is he drops the Friday shows to an extra day for collaboration like the upcoming. Also the bottom of boss man's list is Weekly Newsletters, which I will be actually running. What does this mean for the Weekly Updates? It will be unfortunately ending. However I will be rotating days with Chris on the blog posts and every second day and some weeks. So Chris will be doing 3 blogs post, I will be doing 2. When will this start, as soon as he puts the sign up, codes the pop up, he will let me know so there should be one at the end of next week.  Anyways, I will talk to you all end of next week.
