Anyways, I made due with the clothes I was wearing and we had a fantastic time. 1948 Diesel Locomotive #703 pulled and pushed us. I never knew about this diesel that it was originally a shunter diesel hence the flat back end and I know this seeing CPR and CN in the yard at our GO Train station here. So I got a but more history. Also I was near the rope by the shop where they are working on the two steam engines, # 1057 and 136, the door was open and what do we see? 136 in the flesh. Boiler door open, ready and they have been very active with fixing it up and looks like they've been cleaning it too and keeping it in good shape so my dad and I are hopeful for it to return to service soon. 1057 is awaiting restoration and work to be done at this time. Anyways that is the blog post for today, as always I will talk to you all tomorrow!
Chris
