As you guys know I went to the French-Canadian Pavilion and I wasn't too impressed with some things. Let me get into it, the Meatpie (Tortiere in french) was good, it was more fine with the meat as my mom's is more chunkier which is probably just a preference honestly. I noticed it didn't have the potatoes like my moms but that could of been really mixed in but was edible. The Ragout which consists of Pork Meatballs, and chucks of pork was really good. I enjoyed every bite as my mom and I shared ours between each other and I enjoyed it.
However the Pea soup was not up to snuff for me, peas were crunchy and not like how my mom makes her as it is normally with split pea soup, so I didn't eat much of it and my mom had some of it not too much. We also got a Sugar Pie for the go which was fantastic which reminded me of my Great Aunt's Sugar Pie she gave me when we visited in 2007 which I had two different pies but let me know if you wanna hear the story of that I can certainly do that but we still have a pie to finish but it certainly and does remind me of hers.
