Orono Fair 2025!

Today, I got to go to the Annual Orono Fair with my dad and is always an annual thing for us and I got one of our moderators Sheldon so hyped up, he's at the Orono Fair this evening which is so cool. Maybe next year he can come with my dad and I, or even if he wants to come to the Winter Fair that is most definitely a possibility but anything is possible. So much to see and do at the Orono Fair, they have a Tractor Pull on going and started like 200 pounds then by the time we left, it was at 9000 pounds which is insanely heavy if you ask me and a Minneapolis Moline was pulling it. Also arts and crafts with also local vendors and yes I took a picture of the Zamboni as it was parked in the middle of everything as this was in the rink next to the Fairgrounds.

You have your basic fair food, I had a basic sausage was good especially with mustard. Anyways we looked at all the tractors and yes I did tally up everything and will do a post on Monday as I will be putting the stats together either tonight or tomorrow and will do a cool different graphs and stats for you guys that I will share. Saw the chickens, goose, ducks, roosters, boy their loud! I love the fuzzy head and feet ones in my own opinion. Saw cows,  Herford and Black Angus beef which is good for Steaks and hamburger meat. Also saw sheep as well as well as Pigs and piglets already growing up. Finally saw the more modern Tractors, plows, lawnmowers, small loaders, digger and much more. We got fudge for my mom and my dad got coasters for his car drink holders which look very cool. Anyways that is the post for today, enjoy your Sunday and as always I will talk to you all on Monday!

Orono Fair 2024

On the weekend, I went to the Orono Fair as I always do every year with my dad. It's become a tradition for us to do the fair the weekend after Labor Day. So it was after a very bad rainfall, the track where the tractor pull was so the machine had to flatten enough so they could do the tractor pull. Had a breakdown of one of the tractors and it happens from time to time.  We look at the tractors as you can see in the photo to the right is me in front of a Farmall tractor.

We grabbed some food and watched the tractor pull which was awesome to sit back and watch the pull. Always one of the highlights of our visit. Also we visited the animals, chicken, roosters, ducks, Goose and much more. I think the hens, chickens and roosters have been getting a little ruckus with each other so they were in solitary confinement. I got a bit of an inspiration for a podcast for Entertainment Man regarding mental health which will be a cool idea but will see how I want to lay it all out. However that is the post for today, as always I will talk to you all tomorrow!
