We need to fix our newsletter emails!

        I have been very pleased with the number of subscriptions to our newsletter, however I've noticed we had someone unsubscribe from the weekly newsletter.  So there are some things that need to be improved within that plus fixing this website with a tech issue we are currently experiencing as I mention before.

        However this is about the Newsletter not the website yet the site has a lot to do with the sign up of the newsletter portion but the other part is the actual newsletter and once my assistant and I fix it and hopefully this weekend we will be definitely good to go for this weekend so we may delay it till Monday at this point as we are planning to work on it Sunday. Anyways we do not know how to do that so this is why I am telling you guys now before Sunday hits and there is complaints there is no newsletter. Anyways that is the post for today, special one tomorrow highlighting this weekend and next week in videos, blogs and podcasts and much so I will talk to you all then.

Website http:// not working [UPDATE]

        Well, I know I should have done an update sooner but had other things I had to talk about first but I have a response from our provider saying it's nothing wrong with the website, it's the browser you use. sometimes it works, sometime it doesn't and sometimes it can be a plugin you are using or if you are using a VPN then it doesn't work. Here is what they told me:

This is likely an issue local to your browser, device, or network. Our scope of support for such issues is limited, but I can suggest some general troubleshooting tips.

To figure out which one is causing the issue, try to load your site on different browsers, devices, and networks to the one you’re currently using.

If your site loads in a different browser, the original browser may be the issue. Try clearing the cache. 

If it loads on another device, ensure your device’s operating system is up to date and try disconnecting and reconnecting to the internet on your device.

To check if your site loads on a different network, try disconnecting from the wifi an hotspotting using your phone’s data. If your site loads on the alternative network, your Internet Service Provider (ISP) may be incorrectly blocking your site. 

However I tested all all of it out and once again have reached out to them again. Will report back when I get a little information or have it fixed. Talk to you all tomorrow.

I Wasn't Happy with the Podcast Schedule!

   I wasn't happy with the podcast schedule and I am not made with the podcasts whatsoever, I absolutely love them to pieces! Just the schedule was crammed into all the other shows overwhelming yours truly sol this is what prompted me to make these schedule changes. 

So the Dancing with the Stars- The Next PRO will be on Wednesday evenings @ 6 pm EST which seems to be the popular but if we need to I will do 5 pm EST for the regular show, the Season 35 and I have kept that in mind we should do daytime podcasts too besides the evening and there probably be a lot of changes in the fall, with Survivor and Dancing With The Stars Season 35 RECAPS. I am currently looking all of the shows currently on our network and seeing what has worked and doesn't work. Pretty much I am happy with the configuration but always room for improvement. However that is the post for today and as always talk to you tomorrow.

The CBOTW Show [Schedule Adjustments]

       The CBOTW Show is making a bit of a scheduling adjustments as we continue to grow the network we are experiencing some growing pains every week and this is why I had conversations with our hosting team with their shows and to assure they are happy with the show day posts and also the recording days as you know, we are busy on a regular weekly basis.

       As you know The CBOTW Show- Reality TV Recap's Dancing With The Stars- The Next PRO was original schedule for Fridays @ 6 pm EST and to be honest and I felt like before consulting the hosts on our Hosting team that things were cramped together and I will talk about it on the blog tomorrow for you guys and those who have followed us since the beginning almost 12 years ago I am a stickler for spreading things out. Anyways we are moving the Dancing with the Stars- The NEXT PRO to Tuesdays for recording and episodes to be released on Wednesday evenings @ 6 pm EST.  I hope you guys are happy with it and as always talk to you all tomorrow.

Why does http:// not work?

        The reason http:// doesn't work is because it is actually https://www.chrisbontheweb.com/ Because it's a secured connection not just for me or the team but you guys too. I want you guys to feel safe using this website and I have looked into this issue and have asked our provider what could the issue be and once I have an explanation, I will do an update this week.

        However, this doesn't mean you guys need to be rude. There is only so much we can do in a day. We have to maintain the website, create content like the blogs you read on a daily basis, the pocasts the just chatting streams on social media and much more. So please but kind and be patient with us as we resolve some of the issues you may be experiencing and as always I will talk to you all tomorrow!

Has it work with no CEO?

      This post has been talked about in the past but since having someone outside the main core take over the role it hasn't worked out whatsoever.  This is why the role of "CEO" has remained vacant for months and it's been occupied and vacant so many times that I have lost the count how many times we tried to fill in the role. 

    So it's been about a month and a bit that it has been vacant for quite some time for us. So has it worked with no CEO? Yes! With the Founders keeping an eye on things with the operations and honestly without a leader I think is the best move and the amount of stress and pressure has been lowered then normal so it has helped and we plan on keeping it this way for the foreseeable future. We are all pitching in to assure the company continues on with it's success. Anyways that is the post for this Saturday, enjoy the rest of your weekend and talk to you all on Monday.

How do we stay organized?

 With this influx of growth on our website and our content, how do we stay organized? Well several ways: our white board and we haven't really used it yet and we need to fix that and update everything every week so we can keep track of the shows but the only issue is we need a step stool in order to update it but that's ok it won't take very long to update it. 

           Sticky notes is another way we are staying organized along with our calendar and my assistant also has tabs on everything and she keeps me in line when it comes to my workload on a day to day basis especially if I am out of the studio for the day, it will be marked in the calendar. She also keeps tabs on the two Calendly links plus emails plus my calendar and we are just on track. Anyways that is the final post for the week and as always I will talk to you all on Monday.
