My Weekend Winter Adventure- January 2021

Over the weekend, I had the chance to go out for a walk with my dad and I found this to be a photo op for content and you know this is content in the bag for me. Gives me the opportunity to actually create content for you guys. Anyways we went to McLaughlin Bay Reserve which really is only a few minute drive from the house for us and close. We got there and there it trust me it was a busy place but don't worry we stayed our 6 feet distance from people despite this pandemic going on right now that is the most important thing. We walked about 2 hours and I thought honestly we were not going to far in but 2 hours my butt we ended up going that long and honestly that's OK, I need to do 2 hour walks from time to time. I know it was painful on my knee going though the snow. Anyways i had a Chickadee on my hand and my dad got a good still of the bird looking at the camera. Also the way the snow was beautiful and was really nice.

Nature was definitely on my side as I got a picture of a Squirrel posing for the picture, got a pic of an Cardinal as well. The picture on the right of this text  is branches that reach across the path above the pathway which is really cool and I took a few different types of pictures actually but you can find them on on my Instagram for all the pictures that I have posted up for you guys. Honestly there is so much I can say about my Hike and yeah we interacted with a few people as they always said hi to us. Either way it was really nice to actually get out and just walk and get out in nature and maybe I need to do this more often and I think that is what I am going to do today is get out and actually walk and enjoy my time out and about. That is what I have to say and I hope you enjoyed this post and be sure to be on the lookout for an additional post not from me but from Matt as he wants to update you on the progress on the website work that is being done behind the scenes.

Went On A Walk Outside My Area Yesterday!

Yeah the title is true. I broke my isolation, however since we are in Stage 2, I decided to go outside my comfort zone yesterday and go out for a walk. Now I was at the Lake which wasn't the original plan originally but we went to see the Federal Margaree that was sitting in the port unloading. It was planning to leave yesterday evening. Anyways we went on the new pathway which cool and different I think it took us 30 - 45 minutes of a walk to get to the end and back and I brought my FujiFilm SLR Camera with me thanks my uncle for giving it to me.  Anyways I will include an image of the freighter from between the trees which is one of my best pictures that I have taken yet!

Don't let the picture deceive you I was a long way back from the trees. My lens on the camera captured this picture very well. I also took some pictures of flowers and the nature as well while I was out there and on my little walk with my dad. Now at the time I wish I had my fitbit on my wrist but it was charging and it took 24 hours to charge as it was completely dead but I am pretty sure it was pretty dead, Anyways I enjoyed the little trek down to the lake and enjoyed every moment being out and about actually. I know there isn't much to say on this post but it felt good to get out and about for an hour at the most and I was already out earlier in the day shopping for things I needed I.E. getting my Fitbit wrist band replaced as it's been sitting on my night table for quite some time however this walk really felt good to get out and about to be honest. However I got 3 blisters, 2 on the left foot and 1 on the right so I should of really wore my shoes not sandles so I'm suffering through it all. It sure hurts like a bugger. One last thing is I have added one more picture to this post for you guys.

Northern Ontario Day Trip, Day Off!

I enjoyed a day off from the real world, aka working on my website & podcasts and boy it was a fun trip we went back to our old Camping spot which is Silent Lake Provincial Park and also went to Halliburton as well which was a very nice change of scenery. I was completely stress free until I got home and found out a friend decided to deceive and stab me right in the back which is putting a bunch more of stress on me the night before the procedure and making my heart rate gone up a bunch at this moment. But the day was nice leaving at 945 am and back around 6 pm EST so it was almost a 6 hour day and boy I am tired but waiting to go to bed at 1030 maybe 11 pm so I can have a late night snack so I wont be hungry as much tomorrow as I will not be eating till tomorrow afternoon after my procedure. So first stop was at the Country Style, our usual hangout when we use to go up to Silent for Camping which was nice, had a raisin bran muffin for a snack as I didn't eat anything in the morning which is normal for me usual... haha! So we went back to our old campsite # 127, good memories by the way, I have nothing but amazing memories at that campsite and will always remember the good times I had.

We took a trip around our old loop and the know what use to be the first come first serve loop which has electrical and yurts in there as well. Also the 3rd loop in the Granite Ridge Campgrounds. Then we went through Pincer Bay and down to the lake and canoe rental place as well! We headed down to the beach and took some pictures and went to the rock which is I guess you would say closer to the Day Beach.

We headed to the rock and sat there for quite sometime and enjoyed it. Unfortunately we didn't bring out bathing suits and we wish we did, it was warm enough to swim in so we are bringing it for sure next time around. So after that we went to the day beach for a bit and seen the construction going on with their new cabins and showers being installed which look awesome! Same with the gatehouse being re built to the modern time era.

Then we got on our way and headed to Halliburton and saw so amazing colors our way there, picture below:

Now, when I arrived at Halliburton I went to Mckecks for a late lunch and I had a cheese burger with pickle and red onions and boy it was gooood! I put Mustard, Ketchup and Relish on and it tasted delicious! If you are in Haliburton Try it! tastes sooo good! Anyways this is a rather long and lengthy blog post but it was worth the post and to talk about my trip up north and I wanna thank you for reading this blog post and I will do another one tomorrow after the procedure at the hospital and wish me luck in the comments if you want to!
