Birthday Today & Interim Manager Role

               I know a lot has gone on with ChrisBOnTheWeb in the last month. With Mark taking the reigns twice cause of a quit on top of my team changes being made in the last month. Yes he's Interim Manager and this is his test. As you know my management team has been shook up so many times in the last 2 years during this pandemic to a point, I had to let people go for not pulling their weight on the podcast to people just quitting especially this year not even finishing the season out. That's another blog post for this week. 

             Other note, today is my 37th birthday. Yeah I've become an old man now. 3 years till the big 4-0. Not doing too much today, going out for lunch with a friend, coming home to celebrate with my parents. Will be seeing my niece and nephew, brother hopefully but even writing this Sunday morning it is tough to tell cause the kids have hockey practice at 6 pm which is very important. Anyways that is the post for today and I am going to move the end of the week updates to Saturday as Friday, I am doing a special 17 year post in Online Media. I will talk to you all tomorrow.

I am not ready to turn 34!

            With tomorrow being my 34th birthday I just do not feel ready to turn 34. I know I have no choice but I am getting a year older but this year is just going to be an odd year as I asked for mount which I know is here already but it will not be able to be used at the time as right now my desk is a piece of crap, which needs to be repaired so the mount will be sitting around till the desk is repaired or I get a new one. Plus this birthday I will be in the middle of this reno and my dad has insisted I take the day off but either way I gotta work on the podcast at the most as Survivor will have to be out as the show must go on and also a blog post as always so that is pretty much all I can really do for the day. However with turning 34, I am planning to do several things that day. One go see my Grandma in the morning for an hour, come home eat, then my parents and I will be going down to the Bulldog for a drink and don't worry I will not get too crazy that night but also for me to enjoy my day and have fun. Finally I am sure my brother and my niece and nephew will be by to visit for my birthday and not my sister in law as we know she will be at work still however next year my birthday is on a weekend so will get to see all 4 of them.


             Either way I should be excited for my birthday even if I DO not want to turn 34 but either way remember I have to turn 34. Also if I think about it 34 is Auston Matthews number on the Toronto Maple Leafs so there is a bonus to it all in the end as Auston Matthews is one of my favorite Toronto Maple Leafs of all time on top of John Tavares being my second favorite. At this time while this post goes out to you guys I am probably on the road once you read this post so to be clear this has been written about 2 days ago. I promise for tomorrow's post to a bit of a longer post but that is why I am not ready to turn 34 but really in the end I have no other choice to turn 34.

What Did I Get and What Did I Do For My Birthday?

            First I will talk about what did I do on my birthday, I got up at a decent time around 830 yesterday morning, got ready for the day and got the 926 am Bus to the mall to meet up with Larry. Met up went to get our lunch at Subway and it was good, mind you. We got back and of course I opened up my gift from Larry which was DVD's, Power Ranger Turbo, Volume 1 and Power Rangers The Movie the most recent of the movies. Also he bought me a drink which I have not yet drank yet as it is still sitting on the floor next to my tower.... smh. I need to crack that bad boy open today or tomorrow at some point. Also I opened my mom and dad's gift which was a fitbit which is great as I am always out and about walking or just out and about in my regular everyday life as it is so it works out great! Also from my brother, sister in law, my niece and nephew I got Harry Potter and The Goblet of Fire, some Married With Children seasons. All in all, it was  a great day.


           I was however disappointed a friend let me down but it is what it is and I just moved forward with my day and enjoyed myself with the time I had with Larry and that is what matters to me. The whole day wasn't ruined. I made it the best I can. Next year, now I know who I can rely on to come and who not to rely on. This year was a test. Why the heck do you think I have but things are fine between the two of us and that is what matters and next year we can do some kind of extravaganza of some sort I am sure. I am sure he will be in the studio as a guest in one of my podcasts as he was interested in coming on as Twitch is now up in the air at this point which I will talk about more when I have more information to give to you guys which I don't at this point of time. 


               As for dinner my parents and I had homemade Mac and Cheese and boy it was very, very tasty. Yes we had cupcakes before dinner with my brother, niece and nephew and also I had one with Larry which he took 2 home for his mom and himself so that was nice. I was tired after all of that, I tried to lie down and sleep but no dice whatsoever, I ended up down in my studio for another hour, hour and a half at the most and hope I do sleep tonight as I have a long day ahead of me tomorrow.

Chris B On The Web Turns 4 Today!

            Today I never thought I would reach this far but today Chris B On The Web turns 4 years old and I cannot believe it's 4 now. Time has gone so fast, 4 years ago yesterday was officially the last day The Video Projects Team ever existed as a team. That is not what this post is about today today marks 4 years since being on my own with very, very minimal help, yes I am referring to my other 2 stooges, Justin & Larry.. lol... But I really appreciated their help, Larry with the camera work, Justin whom did a lot of the behind the scenes work of The Entertainment Man Talk Show with the set which I used a heck of a lot more space down here then I do to this actual day where I am using a very small space for my studio for both of my Podcasts. It is so amazing! Just to see the change and revolution of the studio space I got down here and see how things have progressed over the years.  I remember the set picture that was never used for Season 7 of The Entertainment Man Talk Show which we never saw a 7th season as it was short lived due to Staff walking out on me out of nowhere. 


             Bringing to the current day where I am into the Podcasting scene now and it is just so incredible how things have changed over the years and excited for the future as 2019 will be interesting indeed. I just got news too which I will tell you guys in time as well. It has been an adventure and a half and plenty of stuff coming in the near future, I have planned especially with a certain channel of mine on Twitch, hint, hint double hint I could stream some of the podcasts again. I will discuss my ideas soon on a future blog down the road maybe by the weekend or so but need to do some testing. Finally here is to many more years as today we celebrate CBOTW's 4 years on the world wide web  and I am looking forward to many more years running and operating Chris B On The Web. It isn't over and nobody is going to stop me from being successful as I have gained a lot of ground in the last 8 months or so with podcasts and additions to the site, changes are not done yet and I will be explaining in due time what other changes and trust me I am not going to wait till  New Year like I was going to. Once again Happy Birthday Chris B On The Web, here is to many more years together!

My Birthday 2017!

          Yesterday was my birthday and was the most fun I have had out of all the birthday's. I got to celebrated with Larry, whom you all know from the highly successful podcast, Everything About Reality TV from time to time and he came over for about 6.5 hours, usually its like 7.5 hours we are together, but he came over and out of the 5 of us he was the only one that was able to come over but that's OK we had a fun time, played tons of Sims 4, he tried The Binding of Isaac, Star Wars Battlefront (the first of those games). We had chicken nuggets and fries. Inbetween him and I spending time, answering texts, and calls with birthday wishes from friends and family which was fine, I got to talk to my grandma again as I saw her back on Monday. Plus answering Facebook and Twitter birthday wishes.


               After Larry left, I spent time with my brother, my Niece and Nephew popped over to see me for a bit before they had to go and eat and the kids swimming class. I opened my gifts from my brother and my sister in law, the kids which was a One Republic CD also gift card for best buy. My mom and dad of course got me All In The Family Season 7 - 9 which completes my entire collection of the series. After my brother left as they were short for time, we made the pizza as I requested for my birthday dinner. It was delicious it had pepperoni, pineapple and cheese on it, I know pineapple does not go on Pizza! After that the night was pretty much to myself, watched a movie, talked to my friend Terry again for the second time in the day, so it was nice to sit back and relax after a very busy but fun day.

Chris B On The Web Turns 3 Years Old Today!

               I cannot believe the time has flown by and you are wondering what I am talking about, well if you saw the title and I know it's sort of click bait but yes it is true, today marks Chris B On The Web's 3rd birthday, also its been 3 years being on my own with minimal help, well now I got no help so I am truly on my own and it has been a whirlwind of a journey as a blogger/YouTuber/Podcaster now a Blogger/Podcaster but I truly have had more fun then I did the first 1.5 now almost a year and a half later.

     
               First had to start somewhere, I continued on with my YouTube channel till as you guys know went downhill very quickly which obviously you know I took Everything About Reality TV from YouTube and brought it to Audio ONLY and the rest is history. Ever since the start of CBOTW (Chris B On The Web) its gone nothing but uphill even with struggles each and everyday and the fact I got over these hurdles is quite a surprise to me actually. 


                  When the team I had left one by one, I knew it was time to start fending for myself and myself only I knew change was to happen and not little change, major change is to happen and I did it one step at a time and will talk about the podcast on another post probably Thursday at some point. 


                    I can say I am proud of Chris B On The Web and the connections and long friendships I have made with people on social media. Not only that staying in touch with 5 Alumni members who once were part of my team at one point they are always giving me advice and always looking out for my well being, but also my moderators of my Facebook group and of course the fans on both social media's have also been in touch and giving their opinions as well which I always welcome. Like I said my fans are important to me with Chris B On The Web as I have now involved the fan base with some of the big decisions or when I got a question, I like to turn to the fans when I need to and if I do a poll sometimes it works, sometimes not but I try to involve the fan as much as possible. In conclusion I cannot believe and grasp how far I have gone but in the long run I am proud of what I have done and how far I have gone without giving up and quitting after all I have been through it is totally worth every minute of the stress, I call it progress and like the saying goes, patience is a virtue! Thank you to the fans, Twitter Followers, Facebook Group members, Facebook Group Moderators, My Alumni Eric, Dave, Krissy, Justin & Larry for being there even at my moments of doubts. Finally I wanna thank my family members for being there for me and putting up with my crap ton of noise from the studio here in the basement. I am forever grateful for the Love & Support through the good times and the bad and looking forward to Chris B On The Web's future and what it is to bring in the near future.

Late Birthday Blog!

I know I am very very late, well 4 days late I know and my birthday was back on Monday, but however that is beyond the facts. Yes I had a good birthday it was a very productive day for me out of any birthday I have had in any of my birthdays over the 31 years I have been on this earth...  First thing I did was go out to Staples to get my Staff and Alumni's tags done as it had to be done an I decided out of all the days of the week to actually go and get this done before I forget to do it later in the week. So after that I came home and had a smoothie for lunch and a oatmeal bar. Then I went off to my 1 pm appointment as I normally do every 2 weeks on a Monday, then I went to see my grandma briefly for my birthday, came back went down to the pub with my dad for a drink, I went light as you guys that follow me on Twitter and know I am currently on a diet, so I ended up drinking a white wine instead. When I got back, I had my dinner which was home made pizza, which was soooo delicious and tasty! After dinner, I managed to have some downtime before my niece and nephew, brother and sister in law came by for a visit for my birthday and I got a Toronto Maple Leafs Picture of the top 100 Toronto Maple Leafs, also an external hard drive which I loved both. Still gotta put up that picture still. From my parents I got cotton shirts and a PJ Bottoms which I really do need and my grandma obviously gave me money so I can use it for what I want to use it for. 

Yea I am a year older and I feel older, my knees are giving me trouble but I am a bit wiser know and how to deal with peoples bull crap they try to cause or them trying to stir the pot on me, I am much wiser how to deal with people causing problems now and I have that privilege to block IP's on chrisbontheweb.com and block people on social media as well! So be careful what you say as I have grown as a person and fixed my website to my liking.
