New Computer Being Built!

A lot of excitement around the ChrisBOnTheWeb Studios right now as I have OFFICIALLY ordered a new computer to be built for me through a store locally here. Now it will take me a few weeks to get it but that is OK, it gives me time to remove several things off this computer as afterwards this computer goes into storage for a while. It will be back eventually in use for paper work but not right now, not at this moment. So right now I am transferring a lot of stuff from this computer I am using to type up this blog post on my website to an external hard drive. We're talking Music, pictures, videos, stuff for the video side of the podcast, saving the podcast onto my other external hard drive.

Also I have removed a lot of the video games for right now but may need to reinstall a game for around Easter for my niece and nephew as right now all I have is Minecraft, Lunar Client, Luck Be The Land Lord on the computer which in time the games will be removed as I am planning to wipe this machine completely clean so I can have a fresh copy. I will definitely do a stream of me setting it all up maybe on the Facebook side of things and I am excited for the next chapter of my career with a brand new and faster and stronger computer. Don't get me wrong, Acer did the job for the last 9 years now and time to get something a little more speeder as I may start to stream on my spare time too, who knows. Anyways that is the post for today and as always I will talk to you all tomorrow.

Gaming Updates [02-16-2022]

Time for a gaming update which I haven't done in weeks maybe up to a month now. There are two games I have focused on lately but here are the updates and it isn't much but least it's something:

The Binding of Isaac Rebirth: I have actually knocked off a ton of challenges since modding the game with both Minecraft and also a Mario Bros mod as well but it is very cool. Anyways I managed to knock off at least 3 to 4 challenges and I have dominated and done very well. However I have actually stopped playing lately with my busy schedule and to get Samurai done it's now a priority but I'll get back to it eventually.

Minecraft: I have been building this supposedly 50 floor Office building which is going to be a massive project and is now ongoing and I have taken a bit of a break from it but I am now on the 7th floor of the building and she's going up quite quickly.  I also took down the old office building as I tried to reconnect bridges from the other 3 buildings so I said screw it, I'm going to actually tear it completely down which took about an hour to pull it entirely down and I even put a hole in the ground and the animals were killed and their pens removed temporaily which now holds a very large Garden Centre. the one half actually has an upstairs built right into it where the Office building once stood and it is very cool structure. Also in front of the office building is a house built and I will be building houses all over the place and putting villagers in it etc. Now in the north railway at the one end of the line is the other house I figured that the villagers have gotten in my way for the last time so I leveled out the dirt and built them their own housing compound to the existing building so they can access all the tables and gear as they normally do. They use to be outside but not that is not an option now unless..... unless I build a porch for them to go outside for air. Also I made it tougher for them to go and re-rotated the ladder so it is against the wall when I go into the unit the ladder is in and yes it has a gate as villagers cannot go in as I found them sneaking up ladders or opening the trap door. Finally on this rather long post I have started working on the lights so I can shut them all off from each floor to make it easier but it is a bit of a sticky sitation to be quite honest and I think I can only do floors 2 and 3. That is my post and I will talk to you all tomorrow!

Advice To Getting Your Computer To Run Faster

Mind you, I am no computer expert, but as you know I have had my share of computer problems recently but I since removing a ton of things off my PC meaning programs that I never used anymore and boy it took me a while to take things. I can say for crying out loud I still had Discord and XSplit programs on my computer which is nuts. It was quite a surprise to be quite honest programs that I wasn't aware of whatsoever I still had from the past but in the end I found it that my computer has officially gotten a bit speedier and yes it still slows down and remember it is an older or oldish computer now more like 8 years and it has done a lot so I have a lot to be thankful for with this PC, it has worked countless hours, running almost 24 hours a day with the occasional nights off.

So the best advice I can give is clean out your PC get an external hard drive or USB drive and store some of your pictures or videos or audio on there. More you store away the better it is when it comes to the speed of your computer. I can also recommend to run your programs on your computer for anti virus and Disk defrag which is a huge thing but it is very important to run the programs once a week to ensure that you keep the computer speedy and fast. Again I know I am not a computer expert but that is the advice that I know of that can help you guys and it is important to make sure  you run all your programs to keep your computer and healthy. I regret to say I do not but starting to take care of it more as much as possible. That is my post for today and I will talk to you guys tomorrow as always!

Minecraft On PC or Minecraft on PS3? Which One Do I Prefer?

So on Christmas Day, I got to play the PS3, which I have played Playstation before, however I haven't had played Minecraft before on the PS3 and boy let me tell you, it is totally different from playing Minecraft the PC! Aiming the character's head to you are looking the right way is hard. Getting wood and actually staying alive in the game is utterly impossible, there was times I gave the remote to my nephew where I needed to rest as I was ready to rage quit at certain times of playing the game. But I got the hang of it eventually but I ended up dying quite a lot as I had no armor whatsoever and it was quite hard compare to the armor I am use to on Minecraft here on my studio computer, but I tried as hard as I can to help my niece and nephew, first goal was to get wood and even for me that proved impossible even for this Minecraft expert. I went back to complete Minecraft noob mode once again. I felt entirely helpless without the tools and armor I had. Plus trying to get food from scratch isn't easy and trying to bring the animals into the pens to build a farm to have animals and a liable food source as well. But you guys know me I am always up for the challenge and I was and it was a learning curve for me.

Now which one would I prefer to use? Well obviously the PC version of Minecraft as I am currently use to and I got strong to quite strong of armor which I have had since beating the wither last year at some point. That armor will never ever break, it's break less and my sword will never break either, so either of the two items will break anytime soon. So I am use that, but also the surroundings around the house, the property I am in, the underground tunnels I have dug out, so I am use to that. That is the reason why I rather play on PC, however it was a learning curve and I am always open to new experiences like this so I actually enjoyed it and learned how to use a remote more.
