Post 11th Season Thoughts of Everything About Reality TV

Now that the 11th season has officially wrapped up, I wanna do a my thoughts on this season and there will be some down side to this season and I wanna talk about this first. I feel like I have failed you guys with this season despite still delivering an another amazing Recap of Amazing Race Canada 7. I mean I let you guys down with the Big Brother Recap this summer as I had a good pace with it but ever since I got home things kind of went awry with it and fell behind into the month of August and I started to feel like I have let you guys down. I understand to those who did unsubscribe but promising next year were in complete full force with both Big Brother Canada and Big Brother 22 and that promise to find a host will be definitely happening next year. Even if I do not find anyone, yours truly will be still taking the reigns and either way I am going to be continuing on. I think right now I need to get myself back on track. Now that this season is complete, I am going to get myself ready to go and like I said on the podcast Monday and Wednesday next week for 2 off season podcasts and then the preview so I have already been productive here in the studio post season. Anyways I think I made the right move as when I fell behind, I felt like I wasn't going to catch up or be on track and what I should of done was watch the show on the day of and most of the time I was around for it too.

With all the mistakes during the summer comes to fixing a ton of the problems for future seasons and especially the season coming up in less then 2 weeks from now when Survivor: Island of The Idols starts I need to watch the show on the day of not the next day, not days later. It is not you guys it's me, I let the podcast get out of control this season when staying on track and I cut back a few things from Big Brother to simplify the podcast each episode but yet still having issues with it apparently so least I will be ready for the next season that is upon us which isn't very long from now honestly.  I am pretty sure once I get start up it will end up being a smooth week by week as we head into the end of the year and things should be easy each and every week. Finally I wanna say give through this season to fix whatever the issues are and all I need is to stay on track this season and hopefully this will gain any listeners that I lost back as you didn't know I lost a few subscribers and I know the reason why and I am the one to blame for letting this get this far and I am not going to sit here and whine and complain, like I said I am working on improving things. More excitement is to come and cannot wait to let you guys know what it is because I definitely got a plan in the works.

I Cannot Believe Everything About Reality TV Is On It's 11th Season!

Over the last 3.5 there has been a whirlwind of emotions from scheduling mishaps to hitting the 50th episode, 100th episode and 200th episode. From having Larry which I know I haven't said much about him. Also having Dave in the studio to see a recording of the podcast. As you know we started out out on YouTube which you know I retired from YouTube which you know the podcast didn't have a home so you can imagine the emotion behind it leaving and trying to rebuild this podcast after nearly a year on the air on the YouTube platform. Change wasn't the easiest thing to do from the time I went straight to Audio ONLY. Obviously started on Mixcloud, moved to Podcasts.com and the rest is pretty much history with the podcast now on 13 platforms currently. This year the podcast saw it's 10th season plus the 200th which is two accomplishments together. I honestly wasn't sure if this was going to be around this long and yes I have stated in the past month that I am burnt out from doing this too long but I am just addicted to Reality TV, I cannot stop watching the shows and talking about it. Honestly it has been a big part of my life now and being part of the Reality TV community, it has been such an amazing experience.

I honestly do not see Everything About Reality TV Podcast ending anytime soon, it is definitely here to stay as there is rumors that Survivor will be around up to 40 seasons at this point which they could change the format of the game so there could be a new show that spins off of Survivor down the road so I see that being a steady pace. I know I am guaranteed something down the road too. Amazing Race US I do not know, right now they have 32nd season and it is unclear if they will do a 33rd season so I am not going to jump to any conclusions right now. Amazing Race Canada and Big Brother Canada both have been doing well in the ratings minus Big Brother Canada going on hiatus for a very short time but I am sure this podcast isn't going anywhere anytime soon, as there will be new Reality TV shows to cover and yes I do have other plans in stored if this podcast ends up on a hiatus and already got alternate plans ready to go and something different from Reality TV. However I will cover that on Wednesday's post for you guys and what is in the plans etc.

Everything About Reality TV Podcast 10th Season Continuing?

I just found out that Amazing Race 31 is ending next week so you are wondering am I just going to continue on with the season right through the summer as I originally planned? I know I announced the schedule already but what I should of done was wait and announce the schedule but as you can tell here on the website it is schedule... So what you are probably going to ask is the summer season going to be a new season from the 10th season? I think that is what the best for the podcast as the current season has now gone on for a very long time now and it is time to just wrap it up and move on to the next season which mind you I will be having no break whatsoever. I will be diving right into the next season so it is sounding like I will be running back to back to back to back seasons from Season 9 into Season 10, then into Season 11, then right into the 12th season in the fall. If I am thinking what I have in the back of my mind is I probably will end up not having a break till near Christmas which will be a well deserved break for this podcaster and you can imagine between all that I will be also working on Power Ranger Podcasts between too so I will still be busy one way or another. So the schedule still as follows for the Summer:

Preview Podcast Schedule:

Sunday, June 23rd, 2019, 9 pm EST: Big Brother 21 Preview Podcast

Wednesday, June 26th, 2019, 9 pm EST: Amazing Race Canada 7 Preview Podcast

Regular Schedule:

Wednesdays, 9 pm EST: Amazing Race Canada 7 Recap

Fridays, 9 pm EST: Big Brother 21 Recap

Like I said in the previous post I will be on holidays at the start of the month and hopefully back a few days before my aunt comes in from Western Canada and I get time to catch up on the podcast and if I have to double up I will. Other then that the rest of the summer I am planning to be here for you guys with the odd day unavailable as I am heading to a cottage for a day so the odd time but for the most part I am here for you guys and planning to work on the other collab too but it will be another hectic summer for me and excited to start this next season... This week has been crazy thus far and I have been either writing notes on casts for the upcoming seasons of Big Brother 21 and Amazing Race Canada 7 so this week has indeed been a test for me to see if I can handle the pressure or not and I think I did a fine job with the prep and recording as well. It is called priorities and I have all week to get those done and ready for you guys to tune into the podcast. This schedule and plans for a 11th season is my final decision from here on out, I promise to not change anything else from here on out.
