Post 11th Season Thoughts of Everything About Reality TV

Now that the 11th season has officially wrapped up, I wanna do a my thoughts on this season and there will be some down side to this season and I wanna talk about this first. I feel like I have failed you guys with this season despite still delivering an another amazing Recap of Amazing Race Canada 7. I mean I let you guys down with the Big Brother Recap this summer as I had a good pace with it but ever since I got home things kind of went awry with it and fell behind into the month of August and I started to feel like I have let you guys down. I understand to those who did unsubscribe but promising next year were in complete full force with both Big Brother Canada and Big Brother 22 and that promise to find a host will be definitely happening next year. Even if I do not find anyone, yours truly will be still taking the reigns and either way I am going to be continuing on. I think right now I need to get myself back on track. Now that this season is complete, I am going to get myself ready to go and like I said on the podcast Monday and Wednesday next week for 2 off season podcasts and then the preview so I have already been productive here in the studio post season. Anyways I think I made the right move as when I fell behind, I felt like I wasn't going to catch up or be on track and what I should of done was watch the show on the day of and most of the time I was around for it too.

With all the mistakes during the summer comes to fixing a ton of the problems for future seasons and especially the season coming up in less then 2 weeks from now when Survivor: Island of The Idols starts I need to watch the show on the day of not the next day, not days later. It is not you guys it's me, I let the podcast get out of control this season when staying on track and I cut back a few things from Big Brother to simplify the podcast each episode but yet still having issues with it apparently so least I will be ready for the next season that is upon us which isn't very long from now honestly.  I am pretty sure once I get start up it will end up being a smooth week by week as we head into the end of the year and things should be easy each and every week. Finally I wanna say give through this season to fix whatever the issues are and all I need is to stay on track this season and hopefully this will gain any listeners that I lost back as you didn't know I lost a few subscribers and I know the reason why and I am the one to blame for letting this get this far and I am not going to sit here and whine and complain, like I said I am working on improving things. More excitement is to come and cannot wait to let you guys know what it is because I definitely got a plan in the works.

Big Brother Recaps Will Return In 2020, I Promise!

I have been dealing with some personal issues this summer and I have not been myself honestly. From friendship problems to family drama to death in the family, I just cannot focus 100% I am only 50% However I am not giving up on the 11th season entirely, I am still doing Amazing Race Canada 7, I am still doing recaps and staying on track with those each week. Right now I need to start revising the podcast as 2020 is going to be a lot huger then this year. Yea I understand I may lose listeners over this but most will understand that my mental health comes first technically.  However with the plans I have in 2020 which I have sort of mentioned on Twitter in the past, Everything About Reality TV will be back to Big Brother Recaps in 2020 for both Big Brother Canada Season 8 & Big Brother 22 but for right now I am on a Big Brother break to focus on me. Also to start give the podcast of a bit of a tune-up and plus the fact The CBOTW Network is on it's way back  which I will be changing things but that's for tomorrow's post technically. Anyways I think it is long coming to start fine tuning scheduling and the way the podcast is done come this fall with the live feature being back in play as part of the podcast. More to come tomorrow's post!

Like the title of this blog says, I do promise you guys and I want to make sure that this podcast is going to stay consistent for you guys on a regular basis or weekly basis at this point so that is why I have pulled all the previous episodes of the Big Brother 21 Recaps off the feed for now and honestly it is my fault for going off track. I should of been smarter honestly with staying on track. I could of stayed up late, record then go to bed and edit in the morning. However there will have to be a ton of changes in the way the production of the podcast goes come towards the end of this month as we head into the 12th season of the podcast, we want to make sure we get things right the first time around honestly. So with the conclusion of this post I apologize for just dropping Big Brother 21 Recaps suddenly but it has just gotten so out of control that is the reason why I have decided to stop them and you guys are OK with it according to the Twitter poll I have done in the last few hours and it is still going up to tomorrow afternoon/evening when it closes. However as you know the decision has been made already. However you're input is still very much important to me and I thank you all to those who took the time and voted as I said your opinion matters with CBOTW.

Not Sure What Expect For Podcasts In The New Year...

I have been thinking about this and not sure what to expect with come New Year. Why do I say this? I am not sure if Music City will be back for a 3rd season as I am still waiting to hear any news if it will indeed be renewed but waiting on any news on that which could be mid August if we actually hear anything. As for Celebrity Big Brother, the same thing as well and should know by end of this current Big Brother 21 season.  So there is still waiting to do. As for Music City, I really think they wrapped up in the way of story lines, however there is new story lines they can go with, new things can happen on the show, however I understand if they do not renew and I have said this before on a video online that I am forever grateful CMT (Country Music Television Station) down in the states for the opportunity but there is 10 days till they made the season 2 announcement a year ago and hoping that it will happen we will see in that time frame. Now Celebrity Big Brother, my Alumni said, that he doesn't think it will happen, especially with rumors of Big Brother Canada could start in February instead of March but they can always push Celebrity Big Brother into mid January at the most.

However in the end if there is no Celebrity Big Brother or Music City, I am already got some off season podcasts I can post up in the New Year every week or second week before the Big Brother Canada, Survivor 40 and Amazing Race 32 happen. I think I will definitely aim for every 2nd week if you think about it, that would be biweekly when the off season comes out. I have already been thinking about it and I got that really freakin odd feeling that Big Brother Canada Season 8 will be All-Stars as it is now August and no announcement nor the audition page has been updating so I am starting to speculate which means come New Year that is the one of the first two Podcasts that is coming out is an Dream All Star Cast and if things get better between myself and one of my alumni then I will be able to do the podcast with them but if not that means I am on my own technically. However I need to remain positive and remember this will be officially my 13th season on the air within 4 years which is crazy to think but not sure what to expect right now. I think I need to just go with the flow of things, focus on the remainder of this season which is moving at a fast pace for me but that's Ok, then followed by the 12th season which will have Survivor Island of the Idols which indeed will be an interesting season. From there I just will probably figure things out from there on out then.

I Cannot Believe Everything About Reality TV Is On It's 11th Season!

Over the last 3.5 there has been a whirlwind of emotions from scheduling mishaps to hitting the 50th episode, 100th episode and 200th episode. From having Larry which I know I haven't said much about him. Also having Dave in the studio to see a recording of the podcast. As you know we started out out on YouTube which you know I retired from YouTube which you know the podcast didn't have a home so you can imagine the emotion behind it leaving and trying to rebuild this podcast after nearly a year on the air on the YouTube platform. Change wasn't the easiest thing to do from the time I went straight to Audio ONLY. Obviously started on Mixcloud, moved to Podcasts.com and the rest is pretty much history with the podcast now on 13 platforms currently. This year the podcast saw it's 10th season plus the 200th which is two accomplishments together. I honestly wasn't sure if this was going to be around this long and yes I have stated in the past month that I am burnt out from doing this too long but I am just addicted to Reality TV, I cannot stop watching the shows and talking about it. Honestly it has been a big part of my life now and being part of the Reality TV community, it has been such an amazing experience.

I honestly do not see Everything About Reality TV Podcast ending anytime soon, it is definitely here to stay as there is rumors that Survivor will be around up to 40 seasons at this point which they could change the format of the game so there could be a new show that spins off of Survivor down the road so I see that being a steady pace. I know I am guaranteed something down the road too. Amazing Race US I do not know, right now they have 32nd season and it is unclear if they will do a 33rd season so I am not going to jump to any conclusions right now. Amazing Race Canada and Big Brother Canada both have been doing well in the ratings minus Big Brother Canada going on hiatus for a very short time but I am sure this podcast isn't going anywhere anytime soon, as there will be new Reality TV shows to cover and yes I do have other plans in stored if this podcast ends up on a hiatus and already got alternate plans ready to go and something different from Reality TV. However I will cover that on Wednesday's post for you guys and what is in the plans etc.

Everything About Reality TV Podcast 10th Season Continuing?

I just found out that Amazing Race 31 is ending next week so you are wondering am I just going to continue on with the season right through the summer as I originally planned? I know I announced the schedule already but what I should of done was wait and announce the schedule but as you can tell here on the website it is schedule... So what you are probably going to ask is the summer season going to be a new season from the 10th season? I think that is what the best for the podcast as the current season has now gone on for a very long time now and it is time to just wrap it up and move on to the next season which mind you I will be having no break whatsoever. I will be diving right into the next season so it is sounding like I will be running back to back to back to back seasons from Season 9 into Season 10, then into Season 11, then right into the 12th season in the fall. If I am thinking what I have in the back of my mind is I probably will end up not having a break till near Christmas which will be a well deserved break for this podcaster and you can imagine between all that I will be also working on Power Ranger Podcasts between too so I will still be busy one way or another. So the schedule still as follows for the Summer:

Preview Podcast Schedule:

Sunday, June 23rd, 2019, 9 pm EST: Big Brother 21 Preview Podcast

Wednesday, June 26th, 2019, 9 pm EST: Amazing Race Canada 7 Preview Podcast

Regular Schedule:

Wednesdays, 9 pm EST: Amazing Race Canada 7 Recap

Fridays, 9 pm EST: Big Brother 21 Recap

Like I said in the previous post I will be on holidays at the start of the month and hopefully back a few days before my aunt comes in from Western Canada and I get time to catch up on the podcast and if I have to double up I will. Other then that the rest of the summer I am planning to be here for you guys with the odd day unavailable as I am heading to a cottage for a day so the odd time but for the most part I am here for you guys and planning to work on the other collab too but it will be another hectic summer for me and excited to start this next season... This week has been crazy thus far and I have been either writing notes on casts for the upcoming seasons of Big Brother 21 and Amazing Race Canada 7 so this week has indeed been a test for me to see if I can handle the pressure or not and I think I did a fine job with the prep and recording as well. It is called priorities and I have all week to get those done and ready for you guys to tune into the podcast. This schedule and plans for a 11th season is my final decision from here on out, I promise to not change anything else from here on out.

Everything About Reality TV Changes (June 4th, 2019)

I know that I did renew the podcast for 2 more seasons officially with a more then likely chance to be back for a 13th season.... However I decided to only renew the 2 seasons due to the fact that Amazing Race 31 may end up crossing schedules of Big Brother 21 and Amazing Race Canada so which means, the 10th season may be extended and I did the math and it would be end of the season 70 - 71 episodes which is insane honestly. So today's blog I am making it clear that it is renewed for 2 more seasons with a greater chance of it being renewed for a 13th in 2020. I have listed below two scenarios what could happen:

Scenario 1:

Summer 2019 (May continue Season 10 right into the start of the 10th season):

Big Brother 21
The Amazing Race Canada 7

Fall 2019 (Season 11... ?):

Survivor: Island of The Idols (Season 39)

Winter 2020 (Season 12... ?):

Survivor 40

Big Brother Canada 8

Scenario 2:

Summer 2019 (Season 11):

Big Brother 21
The Amazing Race Canada 7

Fall 2019 (Season 12):

Survivor: Island of The Idols (Season 39)

Winter 2020 (Season 13.... Will Be Renewed Definitely):

Survivor 40

Big Brother Canada 8

I think honestly that second scenario is not going to happen as I think I will be going with the 1st one as it seems the most logical as it doesn't seem like it will be done before the start of Big Brother 21 but an official schedule is coming once I do know when the finale for The Amazing Race 31.but I do have a schedule put together with the ideas so I will officially announce it when the time is right but I wasn't think straight so I am sorry if I announced things too quickly and have removed or changed those articles I wrote. I need to think and it was kind of spur the moment where I kind of figured it would end up crossing paths but it is what it is and we just gotta deal with it but now you guys got an update to what is up with the podcast.

Everything About Reality TV Has Been Renewed for 2 More Seasons

Over the last while I have been hiding the future of the podcast as I only announced the 1 season but I already knew since the announcement of Survivor Island of the Idols, that I would be returning for 2 more seasons to the podcast as Producer and Host. I'm sorry I kept this from you guys longer but I now want to make it clear it will be returning for a 11th & 12th season which is a heck of a run for a podcast, Reality TV podcast that is. I never thought in the 3.5 years this podcast has been around it would of lasted this long and it has had a very healthy run for a podcast. Started small but growing each and everyday as new episodes are posted up weekly, to 2 or 3 times a week. Now what is the format for the summer and I will again relay this summer's timetable again plus the fall as well:

Summer 2019 (May continue Season 10 right into the start of the 10th season):

Big Brother 21
The Amazing Race Canada 7

Fall 2019 (Season 11... ?):

Survivor: Island of The Idols (Season 39)

Winter 2020 (Season 12... ?):

Survivor 40

Big Brother Canada 8

Now the scheduling as I said in my announcement about the summer schedule is coming just waiting till the right moment to make the announcement as  am still on the 10th season which has now become the longest running season in the history of the Podcast in 10 seasons now. But it is very exciting to have the podcast back for 2 more seasons and look forward to recapping Reality TV once again for you guys this summer and this fall. Get ready because there is plenty of Reality TV to cover for the next two seasons! We're not done yet nor close to being finished with the recaps. Plenty more to come honestly! I feel dumb to not of announced this sooner when I made the announcement for Season 11 but I should of mentioned Season 12 as well but I didn't and it was stupid move by me and I'm sorry but I wasn't thinking clearly honestly to realize that I was also returning in the fall too so that is my honest mistake but I came clean and now you guys know it is not only renewed for a 11th season, but also a 12th season which will take us to the end of the year and the rest will be decided later once I know more for the 13th season which will be coming out at the end of the year as usual as I make the announcement.
