End of The Year Review [2023]

           This year has been very dark and gloomy for us as we've been through so many team changes to the point of me just getting rid of the Community Manager or Community Director Role to have an assistant help us out. We may have a small company with 3 of us together as a team but we're mighty. I think we're most definitely on the right track with that. Also I took a lot of time off to deal with my Grandma and former Team member Sophie passing away which derailed a lot of things in this company and one of them being Power Rangers Podcast that is suppose to have been done by now and awaiting Cosmic Fury, season 30 in the New Year which is like T-13 hours from happening but NO. We have fallen off the tracks and now behind schedule even more. 

            Positive things was the positive feedback Entertainment Man Podcast got from you guys and you have really enjoyed the episodes and how motivating and inspiring I have been to you guys which I tend to continue on with that in the New Year when it returns on the 8th of January, 2024? I am just spitballing there on the date as I'm writing this on the 4th of December. Also The CBOTW Show has shown a lot of growth and now surpassed it's 20th episode both with Larry and I and on my own. Plus the accolades GoodPods have given us with being on the charts constantly shows we are very much in the right direction with the podcasts. So with that, this wraps up blogs for 2023 and I will speak to you on Jan 1st, 2024 for the first blog of the year.

Some Changes and Holiday Schedule

                 Good Morning everyone! I have made a decision with some changes regarding to this blog. Now I have actually 2 accounts that is associated with this my staff account and the main Admin account. Now the Monday to Thursdays, it will be through this account. The Friday's will be the Admin account. So this means moving forward you will be hardly seeing that account but once a week on Fridays from the admin account. Now I know your going to ask about near the holidays and I will have an full update on that but I can tell you there will be some time off from the blog coming. I will get into the schedule right now and here is what is happening for the week of Christmas and New Years:

                 Now the Office/Studio Hours for Christmas/New Years. It will vary but here it is:

Dec 19th - Dec 23rd, 2021: Studio will be open and business as usual

Dec 24 - Dec 26th, 2021: Studio Closed for Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day

Dec 27th - 30th, 2021: Studio will be open and business as usual

Dec 31st, 2021: Half a Day, studio shuts down at 12 pm EST.

Jan 1st and January 2nd, 2022: Studio Closed for New Years Holidays

Monday, January 3rd, 2022: Studio will be open and business as usual

2018 Year In Review!

               As this is the last blog of 2018, it is time to do an year in review blog post as I normally do at the end of each year and I think, this is the second one I have done, maybe the 3rd one but it is hard to remember as I am now almost at my 500th blog post already which is crazy to think within the last 4 years of this blog being around for the last 4 amazing years. All I can say in the last month or so this blog has blown the heck up! I am overwhelmed with the amount of views it gets. Now it gets between 15  and higher in the way of views and sometimes it reaches near 30 a post! Like WTF! So incredible! Ever since Big Brother Canada 6 this year, Everything About Reality TV has blown the heck up, same with The CBOTW Show as it is home to Music City CMT Recaps now and also Power Rangers Podcasts have blown up now too! I guess it was just time when this would blow the heck up. I can say this year has been an explosive year for me growing as a podcaster and blogger and I am proud of myself.  What do I mean by this? I kept my head held high especially when shit hit the fence with the web builder provider and the recent problems with the domain which you all know about now, I stood up for CBOTW and not let people run me over and I persevered over all the problems that has arose over the past year. Yes there is still a bunch of stuff to fix, like lining up guests for Big Brother Canada 7 especially this upcoming year, fixing the .com which I will update you guys when I have an update to give you guys. Also the enormous amount of followers I lost towards the end of this year but I think that has to do with the Twitter purge that went on so that wasn't my fault. Also the fact I had plans to go live now I am planning to do something else about that which you will know by Sunday. Also Trying to get more interviews for my website is one of my biggest goals but again there is still work to do, but in time I will get things all worked out and by Sunday I will do a formal announcement what the plan is.


              This year has been hard for me in the way of friendships going on me but I have gained a bunch of new friends this year and I have gotten myself more open to even volunteering and getting involved in the community which I plan on continuing that in 2019 as well. I will make sure to get involved again and YES Justin aka JUSTINA! LOL, I will be back at the Theater in the fall to help out with the building of Sets! Like I said in one of my posts last months, friendships come, friendships go but the ones that are in your life are your friend no matter what happens. So there was ups and downs but a lot of up's of 2018 especially with the growth of my content and I am sure this is only the beginning as 2019 promises to be another amazing year for me!

I'm Excited for Christmas and New Years!

           I am pretty much done with my Christmas shopping all together but I still gotta get my grandma something and that is pretty much it for Christmas shopping but I dread it every year but it's part of the holiday season. I know my Grandma told me to not get her anything but I am as shes family and I have always gotten her something each and every year. I usually procrastinate with not shopping till the final week before Christmas but this year I wanted to get it entirely done ahead of time. I do not like shopping for a long period time, especially if I do not know where or what I am getting family members so it does make it tough to know where but if you know where you have to go then it sure as heck makes it a lot easier. I need to get the one present then I am done. 


           Now am I excited for Christmas? Of course I am. It is time for me to spend a lot of time with the family and not so much in the studio hence why I have shutdown days where I will not even be in the studio to work on things. That announcement is coming tomorrow's post on here. I know my niece and nephew, brother and sister and law are up north but still got my parents here, my grandma and I know we will definitely do something at least on Christmas Day this year in the afternoon. I cannot believe it's Christmas time already and also this year is almost over and a new year is upon us which means big plans for CBOTW is coming! The domain is coming back, desk is being rebuilt mid 2019, second boom arm is being added so a lot to be excited for. 


           The biggest part like I said is spending time with family and we hope to have the neighbors over on New Years eve to celebrate and ring in 2019 with them as my neighbor actually mentioned it when I saw her last so that will be nice as we haven't do that in years so it will be nice to be in company of the neighbors as well. Also when my niece, nephew, brother and sister in law gets back we will be having a late Christmas celebration so that will be nice and not sure if were hosting yet or they will but either way that is our tradition when they are north for Christmas Day, we get together after they get back on the 26th or 27th.

2017, A Year In Review!

              So here is my own year in review and what I thought of this year alone. I thought honestly, this year was an interesting year. Full of drama, friendships gone, people turning on me but I can say this year has been a productive year for me as I have been very much active with Chris B On The Web and I admit, this year is a year of change and I am quite happy with what went on this year. 

      
                This year saw a whole pile of changes that went on from the CBOTW Staff being dissolved entirely was the best move I have made as I became a happier person and trust me I have gotten so much work done in the entire year including the anticipation of the upcoming road to the 100th episode of Everything About Reality TV which is close but will obviously not happen this year but I pushed the envelope to hopefully get to it or at least get close to the 100th episode. Well 9 episodes to go, I am going into 2018 with the intention of recording the 100th episode of Everything About Reality TV and I am excited for it. Also I started making plans to start collaborating with friends and fans of Chris B On The Web and I executed the plan in 2018 to start collaborating and now you guys know and I know what the plan is as I blogged about it recently and it will be an exciting upcoming year! This year, I wanted to focus on podcasts and blog posts and the events I go to each and every year! Speaking of events, I decided not to return to the Greek Festival due to it being so busy, being pushed around and people telling me off when they were in my way. Also this is the first time in 2 years I decided to not to go to the Autism Celebration and part of the reason, as I ran out of money and there was so hassle in 2016. But I do or would like to go back but not entirely 100% sure if I will be back. Just recently I kind of was thinking, I am going to give my spot to someone else, I have been doing this for years on end, but don't get me wrong, I enjoyed going each and every year and if I was to go back, I have a few ideas in my mind if I do plan on going back. Also I made the decision to allow Larry into the blog as an alumni but we haven't seen him blog yet but he will be soon enough.  Also I saw the growth of both social media's, Facebook Group & Twitter for Chris B On The Web, almost 3200 followers on Twitter and currently standing on the Facebook group 33 members strong! The CBOTW Army is growing and growing fast!


               This year was a very productive and busy year for me and trust me you have not seen nothing yet and no I am not quoting the song lyrics from the song but I am very content what went on this year and I looking forward to 2018 and what is to come for Chris B On The Web. Have a Safe and Happy New Year and be sure to lookout for my New Years Post on New Years Day.
