Organization is Important!

Yes, it has become a chaotic morning here at the studio but this is where organization comes into play. I know I didn't get my notes finished like I wanted to and I had to finish them this morning but almost got it done about half way. Usually I'm really good with the interview questions and takes me an hour but I am really thinking deeper with questions actually. I wanted to go deeper honestly with the questions and come up with some neat questions.

However this isn't about the podcast this is about organization. I know I have spoken about this topic many times in the past both the podcast and on the blog here. So the basic things I am focusing on is getting the notes done for this afternoon's podcast and recording the bonus episode which will be back on YouTube that is on the list of things to do today. Also I have another interview today. Last interview for now as I do not have anything schedule for now. Which is OK with me. I'm sure something will come up again but what I am trying to say is that organization is important. Yes I know Power Rangers is important and I am due to record with Larry in week but trying my hardest and at this point I may need to make a decision to start recording in December instead. With Organization sometimes you need to remember personal life has to be mixed in there with work life. You cannot always be working. Anyways I need to be more organized and need to better to get everything done at a proper time. But that is the post for today and as always I will talk to you all tomorrow!

New Strategy With Keeping Organized

I have come up with a new schedule and came up with this whole method when it comes to keeping organized with content and getting things done. Now not everything is listed as I do have two other things on my list but this gives you a bit of an idea what my list looks like. It lays out my week and what needs to be done during the week. However I have to make sure to actually be prepared as interviews can pop up at anytime. I after all have 6 of the 7 days available for those.

I hope this will be helpful for me to getting me on track to sticking to the schedule as you guys know that I am behind schedule on and off recently. This is why I am now working on getting into a more of a routine and maybe this is actually something that I am missing is a routine. Sometimes I do not even go by a routine and routines are good and to have structure is good. This should help me moving forward and getting things done in a quicker pace. That is the post, thank you to those who read this post and I will speak to you all tomorrow.

End of The Week Updates [08-18-2023]

Another week has gone by and it is time for another end of the week updates. Well priorities are all over the place this week and why this blog is late going up on my website but anyways here are the updates:

Entertainment Man Podcast:  This podcast has been the main thing this week, editing it and getting it up for this weekend. Still working on it and struggling to get it up but working long, long hours to actually get it done.

The CBOTW Show:  I have continued to struggle get Power Rangers moving so Larry and I can finish these seasons and move on to other things.

Lack of Staying on Track Today: Well I apologize profusely for the lack of staying on schedule today, the podcast came out before this blog came out and the lack of updates from me. I admit Kelsie has been on me about getting things up and is concerned with my late nights again but I need to improve and keep on schedule moving forward.

Not too much for updates this week. Just working away with recording and editing and going to try this weekend and get moving on Power Rangers and have a bit of an easier weekend, no stress, no pressure cause come Tuesday I will be recording the bonus episode of the podcast  and my 500th podcast as a podcaster over the years so exciting stuff coming up. Anyways I am really sorry for a late post, have a good weekend and talk to you all Monday.

Sorry for No Blog Post on Scheduling!

I know, I know blog didn't go up and I totally slept in once again. This is why I need to prepare the blogs the night before. This is my own fault for oversleeping and like I said in one of my mentoring sessions on an app, I need to do better in time management and this is why I need to do blog prior to the next day, it's more called being ahead of schedule or ahead in the game. So today it's me rambling about me not staying on schedule whatsoever.  I feel really stupid cause I realized this even when starting to post up stuff on social media as I normally would and I saw nothing for the post. To be honest- I do not know what I wanna talk about tomorrow on the post. Running out of ideas and didn't plan ahead like I normally do. Maybe it is just cause I have been busy booking interviews for the coming weeks and right now I am a little busier then usual.

However, I am getting a post out to you guys and yes I considered no blog post today but it is what it is, again I still put out a post for you guys today and that is what matters is that I made up and posting this odd ball blog post. Anyways I am sorry for no post but you got one even if I am rambling in an endless circle of nonsense but I promise tomorrow should be a better post for you guys to read. I feel like this post is just pointless but sometimes pointless makes some sense to you guys. Anyways that is my post, hope you enjoyed it somewhat or all together and I will speak to you guys tomorrow and it will be on schedule.

Things I Want To Work On In 2020 With Chris B On The Web...

There is a bunch of things I would like to work on when it comes to the blog posts and not only that but also the podcasts there is changes I need to change. This year I notice things were getting better but still a lot of room for improvement honestly. 2020 is going to be definitely different for me and you will all see on January 1st & 2nd as I have a back to back day in Announcements coming to you guys. So what needs to change? This is what I would like to try and change in the year 2020:

1) Blog posts-  I have been doing daily posts on a daily basis and honestly it is getting quite exhausting but the more I post the better but for right now I am sticking to the daily posts as I have really enjoyed them and want to continue on for as long as I can but if anything does change I will be definitely will be letting you guys know that I am making the transition to 5 times a week and take the weekends off or rotate every second day but that is later on to make that decision.

2) Podcasts: Everything About Reality TV- As much as I Love this podcast, this year the scheduling has been off kilter and I need to make the changes to make sure that I do indeed post it up on time and not go off schedule and that has been an issue all year long and in general to sticking to a schedule and be more of a consistent podcaster hence that is how you get and keep the viewers on the podcast. That is one of my biggest goals for 2020 as of right now.

3) Podcasts: The Power Rangers Collaboration- I know we went AWAL as crap has hit the fan for us at the end of this year and there has been nothing in the way for a second podcast so come so I hope and praying to get at least 3 out next year, January or February; June and October 2020 so that is where I am aiming and it goes back to what I said above the scheduling issue that I have had this entire year, well this has to change and change fast or I will be losing listeners on either podcast and I have stress this with my team that schedule is key.

So there is what is needed to be worked on in 2020 and this is a lot to honestly take in and it will not happen overnight as it will be tough challenge and I honestly consider this a part of my New Years Resolution for CBOTW as this year has been tough and not easy to deal with the scheduling being really off kilter and honestly I have done a lot better but when it came to the vacation out East and all heck broke loose and on top of that YouTube issues as I have touched in the past, I just lost my touch but when it came to this season which is all coming to an end this week I have actually been on track minus the last week or so I have been on schedule one way or another so I am keeping up on schedule and with the changes coming which I will address in January, but for now I want to make some necessary change so this way we can make this work out one way or another.

How Do I Catch Up On Work, I am Behind On?

So how do I catch up on work that I fall behind? Well first of all I make a list with the most important thing at the top of my list to the least most important and I go from there.  I mean it is hard enough to keep up with the work load and I find making a list with the most important to the least important and I find it easy to work with. Now how do I make the list, what do I put this list on? Well first of all I have my black folder book with the pad of paper in it and I use the note pad I have in the book and write them 1 at a time. Sometimes I don't always use the book but majority of the time I do. Right now I can say I am not using it, I resorted to not using it however in the next paragraph I will tell you what I am currently using to help me out.

What I am using and it is quite good to use. Since Windows 7 came out the app with the sticky notes, I started to utilize since I was in college back in 2010 so I started writing down what is the most important thing to get done to the least important and if I had like due dates or in this case with Chris B On The Web the date I need it done and right now I COULD use this technique or both what I said above as right now I am complete chaos with my work load with planning the preview for Amazing Race and prepping for Survivor and now the announced Big Brother Canada, so I think I am going to start utilizing this right away this way I know what needs to be done.

So I highly recommend this techniques as it has helped me in the past and it sure does make life so much easier to manage life and to get things done when they are set to be done, especially when you have to get it done for the specific time like I go through on a regular basis. If you do not use this technique then you are destine to fall behind on things just like I am right now, so I highly recommend this technique and let me know if this works for you or what you use to help you stand on track!
