Things are coming together!

             Hey everyone, I am back from a 2 - 3 day break from the blog. I got busy with ChrisBOnTheWeb.com and very appreciative of Savannah helping me out with keeping posts out every day the Monday - Friday but technically I think it was either Tuesday - Saturday or Wednesday - Saturday but I am thankful for her help. She is always on call if I have a question or problem arises here in the studio, she's even come into town from T.O. (Toronto) to go for a coffee and discuss the issues we are having which is great. 

              Podcasts are coming along very nicely working on The CBOTW Show stuff for hopefully this week to record something as I have a funny feeling Larry will be back online this week but I could be wrong but we'll see. This is a busy month for us as we are going into Spooky month tomorrow, we transition from a normal show or movie to something scary and Halloween-themed for the entire month every Wednesday. Also working on the Discord server a tad bit here and there and it is coming along very nicely. Getting everything setup for the channels on there and hope to finish it this week if I can. 

             Entertainment Man Podcast, will be recorded on Thursday after Larry leaves and I return from dinner with my parents for my mom's birthday as we are not planning to go out till the next day for dinner at an Italian place locally. I am really trying to stick to the Thursdays for recording podcasts for both shows and it should work and I will talk further on this tomorrow but that is the post for the day and as always, I will chat with you all tomorrow!

End of The Week Updates [09-27-2024]

          We are so sorry for the no end of the week update yesterday. We were busy. Between Chris putting together the Entertainment Man Podcast page with the video feed instead of having a dedicated page for all the videos, we've decided to unclutter it all together. So far the website is looking a lot more uncluttered and we are very much happy with the current state. We are now pending phase 3 which is the launch of our second podcast, The CBOTW Show.

          Now he's working on the podcasts for Sunday and next Wednesday then he will be working on this side project which you guys see what it is but one of our logos to the side of the website, our Discord Server is back and we've decided to not announce it this time but it's listed on our website along with our new TikTok which we hope they will not ban us again for no reason when it was an update he did originally so I ask you all to keep your fingers crossed we do not get in trouble for no reason yet again lol. So that are all the updates, Boss Man Chris will be back Monday for the blog post, please enjoy the rest of your weekend and see you around the community!

Website/Podcast Phases [Updated]

           Hello again, I have some updates from what I was told by boss man that the plans has been updated a bit as he's mentioned to me last night:

Phase 1: We release the get involved tab with doing blog post articles as you know we have collaborated with other companies and websites in the past and want to keep this going and it's been clear in my mind this is something that is working for us! Timeline: The next day or so. - COMPLETED

 

Phase 2: We are adding the embed of the video to ChrisBOnTheWeb.com for "Entertainment Man Podcast" as "The CBOTW Show" hasn't reached "video status as of yet. Timeline: Couple of weeks to a month of work on the page adding the embed. 

 

Phase 3: Put 10th anniversary into archives one Midnight hits. Timeline: Midnight January 1st, 2025.

 

Phase 4: Launch The CBOTW Show on video aka YouTube for the first time. Timeline: January 1st, 2025.

 

Phase 5: Add in The CBOTW Show to ChrisBOnTheWeb.com

Timeline:  February/March 2025

 

Phase 6: Launch the get involved page for The CBOTW Show and get people involved with the team and community. Timeline: May 2025

 

          I am sorry these posts are late and I have been busy filling in for Chris here and there and hopefully tomorrow everything is back to normal and I will be doing the end of the week updates then he should be back on Monday.

Progress Updates

        HI everyone! My name is Savannah and I am Chris's Administrative Assistant around ChrisBOnTheWeb Media. I do not know why there was no blog this morning, this is why I am writing this post. Anyways I am excited for the 10th anniversary festivities. I look forward to seeing the finalized ChrisBOnTheWeb.com which is coming along very nicely. I can report every since boss man has placed it, the response to this has been amazing! We are very pleased and know we are heading in the correct direction.

        We've talked post anniversa1ry what the website is going to look like and how we want to lay it out post anniversary. We're waiting till January to switch out banners, logos and what not plus archiving 10th Anniversary pages which will always be accessible on our website. I look forward to getting to know you guys and being part of an amazing community, I've heard a lot of great things and I'm sure you will hear from me again maybe sooner then I expect. Any questions, please do not hesitate to ask in the comments below or through our email.

Halton County Radial Museum's 70th birthday

        Back on the weekend, I got to go back to Halton County Radial Museum for their 70th birthday or anniversary of the railway. Was a great day to be at this event. I had a ton of fun. We started by looking around in the barn across the tracks and there was a few equipment that was used during the event. Also W30, 4039 was outside the barn for us to look which was used later on. 

         We rode around the streetcars then got some food and there will be a review tomorrow on this, I think! We listened to the entire ceremony while we ate as it was a long lineup for food. After we finished I actually took some photos and a video as you guys have seen on social media. Then we hopped onto a streetcar and did a parade. I do have video footage but have to figure a way out to edit it. Going down the line we lost power and it was something wrong with the W30 and was the cause behind it. I hope they can fix it as I really like W30 car. We got down to the line and watched the unveiling of the plaque and we got to see and meet Bob, the last remaining Founder that is alive. We got back on the old Peter Witt 2894 and back down we went as our day was done. Oh and 4039 had to pull W30 backwards so we had a bonus ride on the way home but is totally fine with me. Anyways that is the post for today, I know it's rather long and took me 2 + hours to write but as always I will talk to you all tomorrow!

Back To The Grind!

               Today, I am getting back into the groove of things. I am working on The CBOTW Show for Wednesday and after that I will be working on another project I cannot talk about yet but it will be going to be huge portion of this community and help us moving forward as well. Thursday I am aiming to record the follow week and getting into the grind. I know the shorts last week or so has been limited. That is on my docket to get them out. I have like 25 shorts I can post up for you guys and it would keep you guys busy. 

           Getting there and learning to stay on a schedule this way I can take time off for myself on a Sunday where I do nothing at all whatsoever. I think moving forward in this way, I will have a lot more structure then I did before. I mean I did have structure till the schedule changes ended up throwing me off kilter and it is nobody's fault but mine. I should of known better to follow the new schedule but this week is the week of not trying to sabotage our schedule anymore. I know I was accused of it but wasn't intentional, been going through some personal struggles outside of work. Anyways that is the post for today and as always I will talk to you all tomorrow!

End of the Week Updates [09-20-2024]

                It is time for another end of the week updates. Well this week has been a complete and utter chaotic mess. To getting The CBOTW Show getting delayed to going up and that's why I have been working on the next episodes ahead of time. Also since our Discord has been deleted 2 - 3 times by the same individual which I am not going to name names, keeping it very professional as I've been in this game 9 years and almost 10 years to equal 19 years and it's approaching fast. Now for the website itself, the work that has been done has been paused for some foreseen reason that I do not even know and I'm the one that's working on the site behind the scenes. Few things are bothering me on the site that I am trying to fix and not sure what the problem is with it. 

    

              Also recording and editing the next 3 - 4 podcasts, I think it's 3 anyways, once that is done, I am going to actually will be working on the website a tad bit everyday and work on other notes for future podcasts. I have quite a pile on my desk at the moment that needs to worked on. If not any of that, I'll be working on a little side project involving the resurrection of our Discord. Not going to make too much deal over it but will be on going for the remainder of the year and hopefully we will go public with it in January. Anyways those are the updates for the week and as always I will talk to you all on Monday, have a great weekend.
