5 Years Ago Yesterday, Larry and I Had Our First Big Brother Canada Finale! (Throwback Thursday Story)

                  5 years ago today, Larry and I started this annual Big Brother Canada Finales and I believe we started in the early years, Season 3 which is like 5 years ago. Mind you when we started doing those, Everything About Reality TV was in preliminary stages and under a complete different name and what not! Everything About Reality TV was 4 months later when it existed so we weren't doing Finale Recaps till Season 4 the following year when we were still on YouTube. So we had no pressure whatsoever especially after. Non of that was in existence yet! So we got to sit back and relax and enjoy the finale. Now 2016 and on that was when he came over for them then that was a lot of fun recaps and honestly we can admit not just the finale itself we enjoyed but the Finale chat podcasts that we did which is a tradition now each and every year minus this year as there was no finale due to essential services were only and Big Brother Canada was forced to end production so this was the first time in 5 years we did not get together but this would of been our 5th year but either way we're still considering this our 5th year even without a Finale. 

                 I remember one Finale we got ourselves Ketchup Doritos which I haven't really seen around the store or we made popcorn at the house. I remember one year he was snoring so damn loud I smacked him with my pillow LOL! Oh the memories honestly! I know he missed coming over for it this year but hopefully next year we can make this happen again and get back to it. I know you guys missed him on a podcast this year but he is going to be on a Podcast sooner then you know it! Few weeks time you will be hearing his voice whether we will be live or just recorded but we are making it up to you guys for this year. Don't worry I'm sure there will be more Finales and I am sure the show will be returning in 2021 as I've read up they are planning a 9th season. It was just unfortunate this happened this year but it is what it is and production made the right choice.

Chris B On The Web Is Celebrating 5 Years Today!

             Chris B On The Web Turns 5 Today and I am so excited and estatic for it being 5 years and where has the time gone? Too fast in the way I think of it, things did change pretty quickly for me from my YouTube channel ending in 2016 to doing Reality TV podcasts for the past 4 + years to now starting something completely new and different. Change has been the name of the game over the last 5 years and half way things changed for the better good of this website and under the CBOTW Brand. I am proud of what this website, the blogs, the podcasts have become over the years and especially the podcast getting on nearly 20 different platforms over the course of time and I am looking forward to this being our 5th year in operation. With the changes as you know happening, the only 3 things that are staying the same is Punk Rock Cheeseburger Podcast and The Power Rangers Podcast which is already in pre-production for the upcoming next session in 2020. As I reflect on the past 5 years, I realize now what didn't work and what has worked and ever since the change over to podcasts, things on my social media have picked up with making connections with other podcasts and podcasters such as Rocky from Punk Rock Cheeseburger which help him especially get into the Podcasting game like I have and I think after 4 years I do have a ton of knowledge being a podcaster for this long now. Since the change over, I have learnt so much as a podcaster and so much about myself and I want to continue doing podcasts, even after Everything About Reality TV Podcast ends. 


            I never thought over the course of almost 2 years I would be switching from YouTube to what I am doing to this day and I honestly think I have worked extremely hard on CBOTW whether it was the YouTube aspect of things or wioth me being a podcaster, I know that I have definitely made a difference in all of your lives and I plan on continue to bring smiles in your everyday life.  I am glad this CBOTW has lasted as long as it did with the help of Justin & Larry over the course of the last 6 - 8 years with the two of them helping me grow as a content creator, whether they are building sets, camera work, co-host of a podcast they have made a difference especially after losing so many staff they helped me stay sane through the constant drama on the team and they were one of the ones that helped me through it all. Now I have the support of 3 of my former staff Justin, Larry & Eric who constantly support and help me through situations and tough decisions that I have to make. With saying that Here is to another 5 years and beyond and I am happy that I am the Founder and Owner of Chris B On The Web for the last 5 years and counting!

Am I Going To Do Something For Everything About Reality TV's 5th Year On Air?

           So Am I Going To Do Something For Everything About Reality TV's 5th Year On Air? I really would like to do something but it is just 5 years on the air.  If something is going to happen and I think there will be no big podcast recording but I think I am going to have my Co-Founder of the podcast, Larry here to celebrate the success of the podcast and I will see if I can get a few alumni to come to celebrate the success but we will see what I can do. As of right now we have recorded 200 + episodes of the podcast which is many hours of content for you guys and the podcast deserve a special celebration which is an accomplishment. Now I do not know what the plan is beyond September 24th, 2020 as I have not yet confirmed it that far but I can say up to September 24th the podcast will be around till then at the most as I am planning in the new year that it will be back for Big Brother Canada, Survivor, Amazing Race 32 in the winter and spring and Big Brother US 22 in the summer so I do not know what is the plan beyond the 24th of September of next year but hopefully it'll be back but I am already planning things already but it is not a good idea to get too far ahead of myself. However don't think I have been thinking about it and I have been thinking what I would like to do but at the same time I really wanna wait till it make 10 years on the air if it goes that far but again cannot say as it depends what shows there is to cover.


            I take things from season to season basis and I have said this many times in the past as long there is Reality TV Shows to cover this podcast is here to stay. I just do not want to get way ahead of myself and something happens to this podcast but if it continues in Fall 2020, then I will definitely think about it but it is OK for me for think about the 5th Anniversary of the podcast being on air for that long but really I have one idea and one idea only to be thinking about it but planning should take place by Spring of next year to what I would like to do. I really do not think I will be doing a lot of planning this year and wait it out till next year towards the middle of the year to do the planning if I do plan on it because knowing me it could be out of sight out of mind and I could end up technically planning, I am just unsure. If I really want to, I could wait till the 10 year mark but again it depends on the shows and if it continues to run but again like I mentioned it is a season to season basis and I am always on my feet for what is to happen next!
