Everything About Reality TV/The CBOTW Show Podcast Revised Schedule (Week of Apr 8th, 2018)

This week there are changes being made to the podcasts, due to my absence from the studio tomorrow as I am heading into Toronto for the day with Dave Gowans and I will be unavailable to do the recap for Survivor Ghost Island as I will be returning late back to the studio. So which means I have to shift this weeks schedule a tad to accommodate my absence. So without further ado here is my schedule for this week:

Today (Wednesday): Everything About Reality TV- Big Brother Canada 6- Week # 5 RECAP Podcast

Friday: 6 pm EST: The CBOTW Show- Music City CMT EP # 8 RECAP Podcast
8 pm EST: Everything About Reality TV- Survivor Ghost Island EP # 7 RECAP Podcast

Saturday:  8 pm EST:  Everything About Reality TV- Big Brother Canada 6- Week # 6 RECAP Podcast

There is my timetable for this week and I will be keeping up with the schedule! I am planned on watching Big Brother Canada 6 from last week, recording last week recap, post it up then watch Music City and record it before bed, then that part of it is done and all I gotta do is watch Survivor tomorrow morning or Friday, record it Friday morning and Friday's content is done and ready to go! Boom! 2 down 1 to go for Saturday! Once Saturday is done, I'm clear of being behind schedule. That is my golden plan to get caught up this week and the temporary change as I said at the start of this post, I am out of town in Toronto with Dave Gowans for the day. Next week will be back to normal scheduled programming, well without The CBOTW Show as it goes on Hiatus since Music City Wraps Up This week!

My Bucket List!

Today I want to write about my bucket list, what I would like to do, go to, to accomplish in my life. Trust me there is a lot on my list, I will even include the ones that have been accomplished on this list today as well. This year I set out this year to accomplished and I think I did a bang up good job with this list as well. But anyways enough of me rambling here is my list with both already accomplished and things on my list I want to accomplish as well.

Things I Have Accomplished:

- Go to a Big Brother Canada Premiere- Got To Do that this year!

- Run a Successful Podcast/Podcasts. Got both Everything About Reality TV & The CBOTW Show has not only picked up in late 2017, but people have emailed about the podcast a few times. Also, was the start of the second podcast thanks to CMT Television Network for coming to me about Covering Music City each and every year! This year has been the year of the podcasts for me.

- The Website has doubled in views it was always just below 1000, like 700 or 800 views a month, then getting about 1000 to 1100 views a month and now its beyond 2000 views a month, so the website has been very active recently.

- Rebuild Chris B On The Web from the ground up with very little help, with the team being disbanded entirely, I went into a very long and lengthy rebuild and hoping my June 26th, 2018 I will take Chris B On The Web off the re-build and everything is back up and running once again.

Things I Want To Accomplish:

- Big Brother Canada Live Eviction (April!) Been to the premiere, now I want to see an eviction and what goes down at the Live Eviction!

- Advertising on my podcast. Almost had advertising but going to be working hard to get advertising on them eventually! Another thing on my bucket list.

- Go Back To School for Web design and evolve CBOTW into the main hub for my web designing! I am working on planning on this big goal.

- Move Out On My own. I wanna live in my own apartment and be on my own and show my independence.

- I never really talk about this much but I want to settle down and have a girlfriend, maybe eventually start my own family in the future.

- Go back to Grand Bend Ontario for Fireworks. I am planning to do that this year with my dad! Cannot wait to go back for the Fireworks for Canada Day!

- Vancouver & Vancouver Island: I wanna see the West Coast  in western Canada. It is a long shot to it ever happening but hey it is on my list.

- Boston and Maine, USA. I wanna see Boston, Fenway Park, the state of Maine as well. It is in the future plans to go down that way on a holiday, my family and I have talked about it.

There is my bucket list and I know it is very lengthy post, sorry about that! But I still got a lot on my bucket list what I would like to do, being on my own, etc but I cannot do everything at once but never say never and in the future, I will update the post in a new post once something is updated.

I Messed Up on The Everything Feed On My Website! (Explanation!)

So last night, I was putting up the Big Brother Canada 6 Recap to notice on ChrisBOnTheWeb.com that the Survivor Ghost Island wasn't up on the website. Now I thought I actually added the podcast to the website but apparently I didn't, so I ended up just uploading to the Podcasts.com, TuneIn.com, ITunes and Player FM, so I apologize about that. I noticed it initially when I went to put up the Big Brother Canada 6 Week 2 RECAP and I scrolled down the page to notice the 2nd podcast from the top was the week 1 RECAP so that really made me think, I better fix the issue so that is what I did. I should check the day of when it comes out onto all the platforms to ensure you guys get the content across the board.

That is why the podcast was delayed last night till very, very late, 10:35 pm EST to be exact, was because I was still editing and fixing the mistake that I made back on Thursday night and it took a while with the current content that is on that page right now during this season so that is another reason it took a while and the delay posting up the podcast late last night so ensure you guys the problem got fixed and things were right again on the website.

At this time I can only but apologize profusely for the mistake and hope you understand now why it took this long late last night. Usually I am on time and on the right track with things but last I was on the wrong side of the tracks so to speak but I am sure things are fine now and I don't think you guys noticed anything, as I was hoping you guys would of said something to me about it when you went to the Everything About Reality TV Feed Thursday. However please do let me know in the nearby future if something is off or I forgot to add something, or I made a mistake, I will be sure to make the necessary change to the website.

My Favorite Seasons of Big Brother Canada & Why!

Today's blog is going to be quite different and this is kind of hard to do as a off season podcast of Everything About Reality TV so I am writing this as a blog post as Big Brother Canada favorite seasons from Season 1 - 5, will update this list as new seasons are on TV, so without further ado, here is my list of my top 5 favorite seasons of Big Brother and why:

5th favorite season: Season 2: The twist of the secret room and the shredding of the letters, secret bum POV it wasn't overall the greatest season but it was indeed a neat twist to have and it has never been done.

4th favorite season: Season 3- Why? this is really the toughest decision, because I loved every season of Big Brother and I am not wanting to be bias of any of the seasons but this is truly the toughest. Now I love that Kevin, loved Pili, Loved Sarah, Zach, Ashleigh, Jordan, all great houseguests, loved the twists, entering the house to nothing! The secret POV, this should of been really really hate to put this at the bottom of my list.

3rd favorite season: Season 4- The twist of having internationals was a fantastic idea! The slop vote was one of my most favorite moments that even made it into season 5 which is the most recent season of Big Brother Canada.

2nd favorite season of Big Brother Canada is Season 1 of Big Brother Canada which most of us know it is the first it was the inaugural Season of the show and we cannot forget Talla's 19199 moment... 😛 Also Topaz's vote mishap which Arisa now says every year at the finale, vote for the one you want to WIN the game.

1st and my most favorite season is Season 5 which is the most recent season of Big Brother, not just because I picked Kevin as a winner, just because it was split of newbies and we saw veterans come back for the first time in Big Brother Canada History and trust me it will not be the end of seeing veterans. Also the moments with Ika not afraid to speak her mind to 5 weeks of safety at the start of the game, backdoor after backdoor.

There is my list, do you agree with it or not, it is OK if you don't agree and honestly I don't agree with my list entirely as it is, it was the hardest list to make on this post but let me know in the comments.

Everything About Reality TV Post Winter/Spring Season

Now that Everything About Reality TV is now on HIATUS until June 30th, exactly 27 days from today, yes! I am definitely counting down and excited to be recording Big Brother US 19 & Amazing Race Canada 5. I am always happy to be covering Reality TV shows but it is nice to be off for a few weeks to rest and get ready for the upcoming season! It also gives time to wind down and keep an eye out for the cast for both shows and prepare for the Preview Podcast the week before it begins. I do got confirmations on shows for the Fall but waiting for the late summer to post it up officially announce what I will be covering in the Fall but got an idea what will be covered and what will not and Hell's Kitchen will be not returning back on the EAR TV Schedule but is coming out this fall but will be watching it in the fall though. I want to make my primary focus for Everything About Reality TV to Survivor, Big Brother Canada, Big Brother US, Amazing Race, Amazing Race Canada. But you will always be seeing me tweet or even blog about Hell's Kitchen, Masterchef US, Masterchef Canada & Masterchef Junior.  I am very, very happy with the results of this Reality TV season I covered on Everything About Reality TV this season that just concluded, however a few things that I could probably most likely improve on this summer when the podcast returns:

1) Redo the intro to the podcast and improve on the intro to the podcast, same intro theme which is royalty free obviously, wanna stay legit with it and has worked well for the podcast, just my voice over part needs to be updated and maybe a bit better and the volume of my voice through my mixer could be a bit lower then it has been but this intro has worked and you guys seem to like it but I wanna change things up a bit and I got a few ideas on my mind how to do this new intro and trust me you will actually like this one too!

2) Work on my sound, tweaking my sound over the next 2 - 3 weeks between preview podcasts and making my sound is good quality and ready to go when recaps start back up at the end of the month of June.

So as you can see, I am working around the clock still and blogging still but also tweaking my sound and the intro to the podcast and getting the preview podcast ready for recording the week before the BB19 game begins for us fans and The Amazing Race Canada starts! I am not planning any other type of podcast for the next 2 weeks until the Preview Podcast comes out and including talking about the rumors and what my friends Eric and Dave told me. But hopefully by the preview podcast you will hear the new intro. Finally this is insight what is to come for this delightful and fun podcast talking about Reality TV!

Have a great Saturday! Might do a second post later on today!

Why I Watch Reality TV!

There is really a lot of reasons why I watch Reality TV and why I love it! The first of all is the strategy behind certain shows such as Survivor, Big Brother US and Big Brother Canada. They lying, the backstabbing, the strategy behind it all. Being in a house for 70 or more days or for Survivor 39 days on an island trying to survive the elements while competing as a tribe and individually, also voting out a tribe member 3 days apart! Also I got to know quite some memorable faces, Rob C, Boston Rob, Russell, Tony and so on! What I am trying to say is I love to watch such amazing characters develop each and every season of Survivor. Some seasons I am shocked to see a big move being made where a player is sent out of the game either before Jury or when the Jury has started. Also I love to see and hear the final tribal council each season to what the jury has to say whether it is a statement or someone is really pissed off for being back stabbed in the game when they made a deal or not.

Now Big Brother, whether it is the US or Canadian version, I love the alliances that are made from Newport, The Chop Shop, The Brigade, The Sheyld, The First Five, Chilltown so many Alliances have either done well or crumbled fast or gone a long way but was broken up at some point of the game it is so amazing to watch Alliances succeed or fail. Also now adding a chance to get back into the game which really twists the game up. Also especially Big Brother Canada, the funny moments especially with Talla's 191999 meltdown will go down as the most memorable moment in Big Brother Canada History.

Next is Hell's Kitchen, now you will say its not cause of Chef Ramseys constant yelling and cursing is it? Of course not! I like to pick out the strong crop of chefs and go with them for my picks each and every season, yes I do yell at the TV screen quite a lot when someone gives Chef Ramsey Raw food or over cooked. I do complain a lot about the attitude and the way the chefs treat each other but that is about right for me to say something.

Finally The Amazing Race US and Canada, I love watching the places they go, the places they visit and see on each and every season. Also the UTurns are amazing to watch whether they use it or not, I like to see the looks on the faces and makes me think, if I were on the show, would I use it or not? Would depend really. But watching Reality TV sure makes me think what will happen next and who will be the next to go, also who I would like to see go next.

Have a great night guys!

Tentative Schedule for Winter 2017- Everything About Reality T.V. & CBOTW Gamers Podcast

This is a different post from the recent posts of negative things I posted up on this blog recently, but that is why I got this blog to rant, thoughts and happenings around Chris B On The Web. As you guys may have heard and if you have been keeping up with my Twitter posts I have been recently talking about Amazing Race 29 and with the announcement of Season 29 of The Amazing Race I sort of got an idea of when the podcasts will come out so here is a tentative two different schedule ideas for Everything About Reality TV- Winter 2017:

Plan A:

Sundays: 8 pm EST: CBOTW Gamers Podcast (Every First Sunday of The Month)

Thursdays: 8 pm EST: Everything About Reality TV- Survivor 34 (Confirmed Wednesday, March 8th, 2017, Unsure on The Big Brother Canada Schedule yet)

Fridays: 8 pm EST: Everything About Reality TV-  Big Brother Canada 5 (Unconfirmed)

Saturdays: 8 pm EST: Everything About Reality TV- Amazing Race 29 (Confirmed April 21st, 2016)

or

Plan B:

Sundays: 8 pm EST: CBOTW Gamers Podcast (Every First Sunday of The Month)

Thursdays: 8 pm EST: Everything About Reality TV-  Big Brother Canada 5 (Unconfirmed)

Fridays: 8 pm EST: Everything About Reality TV- Survivor 34 (Confirmed Wednesday, March 8th, 2017, Unsure on The Big Brother Canada Schedule yet)

Saturdays: 8 pm EST: Everything About Reality TV- Amazing Race 29 (Confirmed April 21st, 2016)

It is still unknown when Big Brother Canada is coming out but Amazing Race 29 is confirmed and CBOTW Gamers Podcast as well. It is sounding like I will have some time off between the end of Hell's Kitchen and the start of Survivor and Big Brother Canada so looks like CBOTW Gamers Podcast will be the only thing on the schedule. I hope by January to know what the timetable is for sure by sometime in January and I will write an update when I have a chance.

Until the next post, have a great Thursday!

Chris
