Hard Work Does Pay Off!

             No matter how down and depressed I am, I always find a way through things and the hard work I put into it does pay off in the end. I mean I have a lot on my plate right now getting the podcasts and these blogs done, hard work does pay and the hard long hours we put into the content also is another major thing that certain has paid off but the late hours isn't all that great whatsoever but most of the time I am awake at that time of the night usually. 

             I have really bounced back from what I was going through with personal things that have gone through I stopped for a while and now I have been working non stop and it has truly paid off. I may not have all the blogs done for when I am away from the studio out of town so it is important to get done and also the podcasts plus this weekends but I am going to work on the next Power Rangers Podcast and it is in the back of my mind and I probably will bring it with me on vacation if I do not finish the seasons to watch but I should be done next week to start typing it up. Anyways that is the post for today and you can see hard work pays off and I will talk to you all tomorrow!

This Month Has Been Slow on ChrisBOnTheWeb.com

                 This month has been a bit on the slower side of things lately. The views are not as high as last month and I think it's cause everyone is back to a normal work schedule and with kids back in school their busy. It is totally understandable with the website slower then normal and this summer it's been so busy on the website and honestly things do have to slow down at some point. However the views are still there and I am constantly updating chrisbontheweb.com on a regular basis to ensure that it is still fully updated every week and if anything needs an update then I will update it. However the website hasn't needed any updates right now but with the addition of CBOTW Studios Channel that has been updated and listed to the website now. That is the small minor details that need to be updated.

                I have been looking at the views and the weekend the views have been better and I think it has done a bit better and trying to make up those views that have been lost and it is just beyond the half way through this month and anything is possible to have a good number perhaps. However I am not going to stress over it and like I said things will slow down and that is the case but again not stressing over this. I finally have ChrisBOnTheWeb.com where I want it and I do not want to change anything on here. I am not changing anything but if Larry and I for example do the Power Rangers Movies then a Movie Collab page will pop up and there is a Movie Collab page right now on the website but it's not published at this moment but there is a dedicated page and it is there just not public yet, got a lot to talk to Larry about on the 30th. Anyways that is my post for today, I will speak to you all tomorrow.

It's Been Hard To Focus Lately!

                 I have put up with so much verbal abuse and accusations, I am just had it and I needed to just walk away from the group for a while. This is spanning the last almost 3 years in general. So I am taking a Leave of Absence from the group but this don't mean I will not be active on Twitter or Instagram cause I will be. Jim, ChrisBOnTheWeb Community Manager will be assuming the leader role in the Facebook Community while I am off from the community but like I said I will be remaining active on Twitter moving forward. It's not just the verbal abuse and accusations it is about me getting Samurai done and I have a massive plan to catch right up and get another episode recorded in a week. 

                 It has been hard to focus on it and if I take a bit of a break from some of the platforms this may help. I doubt it as I also have to play the Social Media aspect of it all so I am still active on two of the 3 at the most. This podcast is all up to me finishing up notes and getting it done and my team has stepped up to the plate lately-- Meaning Jim is practically running the FB Community Group, Amy is helping me here and there with editing Entertainment Man Podcast and her own which is only weekly which her and I been back and forth about the post Survivor Season and we have something planned but more is coming soon hopefully soon.  But with this, I hope this is going to take some pressure off of me when it comes to actually. The break was so short lived cause my Community Manager had a meltdown on me so now I am back on     Facebook, back to being stressed out 24-7 once again. However that is today's post, hope you guys enjoyed this and I will talk to you all tomorrow.

Personal Update--- I Am Just Fine!

             I know you all are wondering how I am doing with the Corona Virus and we have a fair good amount of cases and I can ensure you guys, I am good and very healthy and I have made the decision to go out less. Minus going out to hang with Eric on a weekly basis, I have put myself into self isolation for right now. Yes I do get out once a week and I go out for walks but the most part I am hunkering here at home and honestly this is fine with me. I can get content done and today and tomorrow I gotta record stuff. I ensure you guys I am fine and actually in our Region we are in, we have only 2 cases. So I am honestly fine and trying to avoid going out as much as possible but if I really am bored then I will definitely be going out and about but for the most part I am choosing to stay home and try to avoid going out to the public unless I really necessarily have to. Now content will still remain as it is as long as I remain healthy I will keep up with content but if anything changes please check my social media as I have my phone with me at all times. Either way things are not changing but for now I chose to try and stay home and kind of want to stay clear of all of this.


            However I want to reassure you guys everything is great. I am in perfectly good health and my health has been great. Even my knees been better then usual so I am in very good spirits and sorry I haven't really said anything about the situation here in my province but I have just been so busy with content I should of known better to mention it to you guys that everything is fine but as long as you guys see posts you should all know I am fine. However Sunday I went AWAL on social and the reason was because I had Larry here in studio and we were talking a lot about future collabs with him and I am been talking about it and also we had a ton of fun around the studio playing Sims which I do have a post. Please do not panic, if you don't see me posting for an day, just feel free to private or DM message me to see if I am OK, especially if I disappear for 3 - 5 days then that is the time to send me a private message especially. Either way stay tuned for me content and just announced this evening I am giving video a shot but on Dailymotion instead of YouTube as you know my position with it. Either or, please do not worry, I am in good spirits and doing well and I will see you in tomorrow's post.

How I Work Hard To Be Successful!

              I know sometimes success can be taken away from you at times of stress and panic but to be successful, you gotta work hard and gotta grind and that is what I have been doing is grinding hard to get caught up in the content you guys either every day or every week, depending what content comes out and whether it is scheduled or not. But you have to work hard, grind, grind, grind, even with the going gets tough, just keep on going, do not stop or give up. Giving up is not a good thing, trust me, I ended up giving up and look at where that took me, so far behind on the podcast I kind of gave up and giving up is not a good idea, look at what happened, I ended trying to catch up this week towards the end of the week. With Finale week beginning less then 24 hours from now, I gotta make sure to post up the Big Brother Canada RECAP today at the most. 


              To gain a follower ship or a good fan base like I have, you have to work hard, gotta promote your content each and every time you post up content you have to do the PR work behind it. What I do is give a far warning like a 1 hour warning till the content comes out or the exact time it goes up. I also take advantage if I have to run out to do errands or have an appointment or in bed when content goes out late, I use the scheduling feature on Twitter and is the only time I will use the feature, 99.9% of the time I am posting up things live minus if I am in bed early or out on errands or at an appointment, I find it good tool to have especially if I am on a very busy day and I tend to forget to post up the content links, whoops! I was given advice from someone who told me PR is the most important thing when it comes down to promoting content.


               The final point I would like to make is try and make a schedule when your content comes out, so your fan base knows when the content is out on time and yes I realize I am off schedule myself but working hard to get it out on time on schedule. But scheduling is key, especially if you want to keep the fan base happy and not lose fans over content being up late.... Cough, cough I am a prime example but I am sure if your fans are understanding, I know you guys who read this blog and understand my recent circumstances. If you are going to be away like I was in April, you gotta get a make up schedule made or work around being away this way you do not miss the content going out and have it posted up the following week. Working Hard To Be Successful

             I have not really spoke about my new fond success at my Podcasts and Blogs that I written on either Soapbox or chrisbontheweb.com but to be successful on anything whether it is YouTube, Twitch or streaming in general or in my case blog posts or podcasts, but you gotta work hard, to get views it takes time to grow your audience and I found a difference between Podcasts and YouTube but that's for another blog post on another day but anyways it takes a while to grow your audience, YOUR fan base, trust me I have had a lot of support from the get go, when it was still on the YouTube platform and even now on the Audio ONLY Platforms for the podcast, I have gotten nothing but non stop support since the day I moved to Audio and a lot of other podcasters following me to show support to me doing the podcast throughout the reality TV seasons (Going onto my 3rd Season this summer!). 

              Now the best way to promote your content, whether it is Facebook, Twitter or Google Plus it is the best way to promote your content. Soon as you edit your content whether you are a YouTuber, podcaster or blogger, you should promote your content right off the bat, not wait, post it to all the social media that you have. You can also add onto the posts with hashtags and now what is a hashtag if you have no clue what it is, well it is just a simple "#" sign from your keyboard which if you use shift 3 button, it will give you the "#" sign. Hashtag is a great way to get yourself out there and you never know trending on social media and I have had Everything About Reality TV trending once in the past which was incredible and it was a very rewarding feeling to have to be sort of trending on Twitter. Numbers is not always important, it's about building your audience and having quality content out there which does help quite a lot, as I have realized that as I just completed my first podcast and I fixed the quality and the levels of my voice so it doesn't sound distorted. To be successful is to make the right connections out there, if you know what I mean. I connected with other podcasters, other cast members from Amazing Race and look where that has brought me to a very successful podcast and it has grown tremendously over the last 10 months almost. Do not feel down, do not give up, keep on trying and I ensure you will succeed at what you do.
