Thoughts On This Season of Big Brother Canada, Season 8?

I honestly have a lot to say about this season of Big Brother Canada as it has been a really insane last few weeks. First we saw the self eviction of Nico who didn't want to stay due to mental health and I understand that but wish he'd stay to try and fight at least. Then we had a regular week but without the audience, just Arisa in the studio. Which I totally understand why with the Corona Virus (COVID19) going around. I wasn't planning to actually to go into Toronto for an eviction unless things slowed down but at this point I will not be going and plus the audience has been suspended so I will watch from here at home and watch the drama unfold. Now bringing into this week to hear Jamar was ejected, expelled whatever you want to call it, please correct me in the comments below but due to things said which I rather not repeat it they were both removed from the house and this brings us into this week to the HOH where they are in sleeping bags and hanging on a bar which we find out on Sunday's episode so please no spoilers in the comments below.

Honestly I have mixed feelings about this season as everything that can go wrong can go wrong, like I said self eviction to 2 expulsions and this virus going around right now is making me worried they will just cancel the rest of this season or just stop and I just really do not know where this season is going to, especially with the virus Pandemic right now I just got a very weird vibe they may end up stopping the game. Let's hope not as I love Big Brother Canada dearly but I just feel like they could of held it off even till early June and yes I realize it would over lap the US but they could of done it in the fall too but we will have to really wait and see what this season becomes. Jamar situation I feel like Kyle started this entirely but now both gone, I still feel like Jamar could of not said anything and things probably be completely different and Kyle could of been the only one. Either way the game moves forward and I understand the frustration by all you guys the fans and I am really being heartfelt in my message about the season in this post. The game moves forward and we are hitting a reset and we will see who wins HOH Sunday to those who do not look at the spoilers. I am going to try and enjoy it but kind of giving up on this season with so many things going on, I feel like they need to just stop and try Big Brother Canada Season 9 like Kevin said on his Twitter and I totally agree with him maybe that is the best thing to do but hey gotta stay optimistic right?

Have a great rest of you Friday (Happy TGIF)

Everything About Reality TV Updates [02-19-2020]

So I have some updates since about 2 days ago this was while I was putting up other content here on the website, Both Jasmine and I agreed since we couldn't find a Host for the upcoming Big Brother Canada Season 8 and also Big Brother US, Season 22, they will be indeed doing the recaps as we originally planned on doing. I will be around if they need me to replace them one week but I we will make it work on way or another. You never know you may hear my voice on the podcast from time to time as a guest. Mind you I am still one of the hosts but I am playing more of a Behind The Scenes but still covering Survivor, The Amazing Race and The Amazing Race Canada so I am still involved but just not as involved for Big Brother anymore. I think it is the most appropriate time to step back on the role of host and actually let someone else cover it. It is exciting and it will be a strange feeling to have not covering it but this our plan moving forward for the 3 of us. So here is the updated schedule:

Thursdays: 9 pm EST- Survivor Winners At War RECAP

Fridays: 9 pm EST- Big Brother Canada 8 RECAP (Starting March 6th, 2020)

There is our schedule if we need to tweak it we will let you know but for the most part we are sticking to our normal schedule as we have it during the Big Brother seasons so we are very much happy with it. Now TAR (The Amazing Race) we do not still not know what the plan or when it will be starting but found an article speculating May we could see that which is great as I will be at the end of Survivor and Amazing Race will just be in my schedule but right now it is too early to say as we haven't even started the Big Brother Canada Season 8 season yet so we will let you know when we know but I have informed CBOTW Staff, Everything About Reality TV Staff about what I found but will keep digging around like I always do.  These are our updates and like I said once I know further will definitely make another post for you guys.

Everything About Reality TV- Giving Back To The Fans!

With this being our 13th season, we are actually bringing on fans of the podcast for any of the shows that were covering, however I think we are mainly bringing on fans for Big Brother Canada and got a couple of requests to be on the podcasts already! We are excited to bring on more guests onto the podcast and grow this podcast even further and this week's episode is a bit rocky due to some technical issues at the start but come the following week, I am going to start improving the podcast as the weeks move on. This is our 13th season, it's go big or go home so to speak! That is what we are doing! We are proud of what we have built but it hasn't moved in much of the subs so we need to continue to grow. Now the platforms itself it's grown on many different platforms honestly, just we need to get more listeners and we will and doing very well but again don't forget we have been doing this for almost 5 years but also we have to remember starting a podcast from scratch on Audio ONLY takes time and effort. I am going to be doing a bit of changes in the next week or so with notes, the first episode there was a ton to cover technically so I want to take things one thing at a time.

We are looking for guests to be on the podcast and THIS is YOUR Chance to get involved with the podcast! Calling all Big Brother Canada Fans, you would like a chance to recap Big Brother Canada podcast with us? Well you can email Myself or Jasmine at eartvpod@gmail.com and we will put you name down on the list! There is limited spots, 11 spots not including the finale as we have that already locked up with a guest or guests so to speak. Please reach out if you are interested and we will be put you down. The deadline for this, well actually as the weeks go on we will add in your name. I do have to talk to my Producer about this and what I am thinking of doing is actually placing a list to who is in line. I think the first week it will be just me on the podcast then bring on guests the following week. This was all Jasmine's idea and I totally agree with the idea and it is truly going to be an honor talking to you guys over the season. Bring on BBCAN8!!!!!!!!!

My Thoughts For The Upcoming Big Brother Canada Season 8....

Now that there was a post about BBCAN8, it is starting to make me wonder what the plan is. I have several ideas, thoughts and theories behind the upcoming season next year and this is why I called off the other post I was suppose to do today till tomorrow which you will see what I mean tomorrow. Anyways I wanna talk about this as I am, I mean it has me wondering as there has been speculation on one basic thing that we have been waiting for now 8 seasons. Here is my theories and thoughts:

1) All-Stars: This has been on our mind since the 7th season has now wrapped up and we could be seeing an All-Star season, however would the casting director make an announcement that casting information is coming soon? I mean wouldn't they stay quiet if it indeed been an all stars season cast? Their definitely wouldn't be anything in the way of auditions for an All-Stars as that is mainly them bringing back old cast from the previous 7 seasons so I am not totally certain there will not be an All-Stars yet but never know with Big Brother, Expect, the unexpected. They could be hyping us up for an All-Stars season after all but never know!

2) Big Brother Canada Vs. U.S. with newbies from both the U.S. and Canada- A topic long talked about after season 4 of Big Brother Canada after getting international houseguests in that season. I pretty much am convinced as they are talking about casting calls information is coming soon, like I said I think All-Stars is not in the question but again but you just do not know what they have in stored.

3) Big Brother Canada Vs U.S. With Veterans- I know not every fan is fond of returnees but this could be another option, however what would be the point of auditions or casting information as it was said, that casting information is coming soon so this means there probably be casting so the 2nd one is probably more the probable at this point.

There is my list of 3 ideas that is going through my list as I spent about an hour and a half with Eric and we were talking to get my mind off the recent drama in my life and anything right now is possible with this. I just do not know which way they will go or they will once again have newbies this season. Eric mentioned they could be doing 8 Canadians, 8 American's in the winter and the same in the summer in the U.S So I just do not really can put a finger on it as I do not know what their plan is but right now it is but if it was All-Stars, there would of not been an announcement about casting but it is still early to tell and they could even do an All-Stars season but we will find out in time. What do you guys think? Let me know in the comments below!
