Preparing for my Trip out of Province!

Between working on everything else, getting everything ready for tomorrow's massive recording, it's all hands on deck as this will be our last recording session till June at some point. So I will have more time to work on both Corner Gas for June recording session as Larry and I will be slowing down in the summer on recording sessions but not only that but getting things recorded, edited and scheduled for posting while I am away in Quebec for 4 days with my parents and other family members as well.

I go quick with blogs and will be easy to pump out posts on the website. Next thing is to record episode for the Sunday, shorts ETC all done. I will make sure everything is set up to Tuesday after I get back that Sunday. So after this week and I finish up editing Ghostwriter, I will be preparing all of next week on the upcoming holiday away as I need it honestly. I think I will get through it all next week in a timely fashion and have it scheduled. Not sure how but the website version will not be updated till that Monday (the day after) I return from the trip. Anyways that is the post for today and as always I will talk to you all tomorrow!

Food In Quebec City

The food in Quebec was amazing! I really went French dishes as I wanted to try them and was worth it. I want to talk about 3 - 4 dishes in total. The First one was Cannelloni. I have never had this dish before but was really, really delicious. Restaurant Parmesan did a great job with our meals and I couldn't believe how much cheese was on it plus parmesan they added to it. Was crazy but was worth it though. The Next dish is from the French Canadian restaurant I had a Beef Wellington which was absolutely amazing. I even ate some Zucchini and it was amazing. Didn't eat all of the veggies as I'm not a fan of Asparagus.

I had a very nice French Toast  with apples cut thinly and also a nice caramel sauce and a bit of it was foamed up which was really good. However I couldn't finish it whatsoever there was a bit left as it was stacked two or three pieces of bread hence why I stayed at 226 pounds. However I am working on it now to get it down a lot more. This is the time I want to really push it, exercise more and what not. Anyways the last thing I want to talk about food wise is the Smoked Meat sandwich and Creme Brule. The sandwich was delicious and good. Shoestring fries were great too, I enjoyed it as well. The Creme Brule was awesome just as I remember it last year and has become a yearly tradition for me. Anyways that is the post for today, I hope you guys enjoyed this post and I will talk to you all tomorrow.

My Vacation 2024!

As you know I was away on holidays to Quebec. I learned a lot about my family and got to see where my mom and her side of the family lived which was really neat to hear the history of my family. We also visited where my grandma is buried at the cemetery twice so it was nice to visit as I miss her every single day since she passed. Also got to ride the ferry there and back twice which was nice and I took some pics and can be found on my Instagram as I didn't post everything as there is way too many pictures.

I also got to eat some of the most amazing food ever and I will talk about that on another blog tomorrow. Anyways we went shopping a bit and got myself a Nordiques hat, 2 pens including one for Larry as I thought about him while on the trip. Also got to go to church in a beautiful parish there I was completely in awe. We also got to go look at the Coliseum where the Nordics played originally and the Video Tron Centre where the Nordics could play if they became an expansion team again or a team moves to Quebec from other cities. Anyways that is my trip and I will talk to you guys tomorrow to talk about a few of the meals I really enjoyed, I'll leave out the negative experiences though. Talk to you all tomorrow.

What is going to happen when I'm away?

As you know I will be away from May 15th - 19th, 2024 this week starting Wednesday. So what I am planning to do is get all the blogs for the week written between those days minus Sunday is a day of rest for all of us and we are committed to taking at least one day off during the week. So mainly it will be all topic blogs from today right through to Saturday,

What about the end of the week updates? With me only in the studio the last two days, there is not enough updates for Kelsie to give so she gets the week off and she will be returning the following week. Also she will be solely in charge of ChrisBOnTheWeb Media while I am out in Quebec for 5 days. Any emails, messages will be answered by her as I will not be available Anyways that is the plan for this week, I hope you enjoy tomorrow's and the rest of the week's blog and I will talk to you on the next one tomorrow!

2007 I Had Two Different Types of Pies!

In 2007, my parents and I went to Halifax and we visted family, my Cousin, Uncle and Aunt. We had a visit there and on the way there my aunt and uncle and a visit on the way back along with my cousin as well. Anyways on the way there I got to try Blueberry pie which was to die for, was the best blueberry pie I ever had, actually the only time I had it as my aunt made the best.

Not only that I tried something that is a French delicatessen for the Province of Quebec and that is Sugar Pie which I did a review recently on the French-Canadian Pavilion that also reminded me of my Aunt Ja Mas' pie she made as it was exactly the same taste as hers and why I wanted to do this post to talk about it. Was a fun trip and was nice to visit family and the last time I saw family till this year so always appreciate my time with the family, it is the upmost importance to me and yes I am a big family man as it is very important to me. That is the post for today, I will talk to you all tomorrow!
