Brotato Video Game First Thoughts!

I recently been watching Dan's YouTube Channel and he was playing a game called Brotato which is a game similar to The Binding of Isaac. However there is a lot more of a selection of weapons and also armor as well. So I'd say it's a step up from Isaac but a lot different.  I like the fact that there is a bunch of different items and it is a bit of a chaotic game but I really do enjoy the game. I have gotten to 13 waves as the game goes into waves and I do not know how many waves it is till you beat the level that I am not sure on right now.

However this game is so much fun! Once I get into a run then the run ends I find myself wanting to do another run. You can unlock other Brotato characters as you go along and it isn't hard to unlock those actually. I would definitely give this a 10 out of 10 I recommend it if you like a game like this. Anyways shorter blog today as I have a ton of things to do today with editing the podcasts but have a great weekend and I will talk to you all Monday.

Contraband Police Video Game First Impressions

I can say that Contraband Police Video game is very impressive honestly. Even tho I haven't played very much of the game yet but definitely a game I'd play to the end of the story and I've watched a play through on Tmar2 YouTube channel and big shout out to him. Looked like a lot of fun to play honestly and just got into playing it a bit. Got a bit lost on the way back from taking the prisoners to the work camp as that is where they honestly belonged. This game is a very attention to detail and I have showed that. Just made a one or two mistakes but that's OK. Just room for improvement honestly.

I really am enjoying this and played it on my spare time on the weekend when I had Friday and Sunday off during the holidays. I highly recommend the game and you can get it on stream for a reasonable price. I really love this game and it is completely different from any other games I have played in the past. I always look for a different game to play from time to time as I am tired of the same ones but trying to beat them so I can move onto a different games and got a list of games to beat still and will get to it eventually. I hope they decide to even do a sequel would be cool but if they don't I'm cool with that either way. Anyways that is the post for today, I will talk to you all tomorrow!

Minecraft Updates! [08-11-2022]

I wanted to provide you guys with a bit of an update, I am probably almost done with or even finished with the project. It was put on the back burner cause of projects within ChrisBOnTheWeb and that is the current projects I need to complete first but recently I have dug out the ice rink and I know it's not big, big but still it's an ice rink regardless. This took a very long time for me to dig right out of the ground and working on the bowl and building the seating bowl. It was quite an adventure and a half. There is only so much room I can do and maybe it's time for a small shrink down perhaps.

Looks good and I will be fiddling around with it and maybe it's too squished or something, I'm not 100% sure what I need to do to actual improve. I think it is too wide and still room to make progress with it. Maybe I will change it around but we'll see when I once again get enough time to play the game once again. Anyways that is a bit of an update on the world and yes I haven't done much with the office building and been around the other stadiums working on things here and there but that's for an update a little later on when the time is right. I will talk to you guys tomorrow on the last post of the week which I will be back home again.

Stardew Valley Upates!

For the last few weeks, I have been playing Stardew Valley on my extra time.  However I have made some stride with the game. I have now upgraded both my axe and pickaxe to Iron and the next phase is Gold axe and pickaxe next but I need 20 grand to do both tho so that is a bit of a pain getting money and getting the gear I need. There are two stones that I think are copper and with copper that could open up a big amount of money. At this point I think I am going to sell most of it. Maybe make a copper or iron can but more likely copper will be sold and it will give me a bunch of money indefinitely. I am planning to sell cause I need the money to get one more upgrade on the axe and pickaxe. I have now started to grow crops and it has helped me out greatly but not only that but I have found a cave and able to start gathering stone, copper quartz and other amazing items.

Now back to the pickaxe and axe situation, it has been so much better with an iron axe and pickaxe and made life around the farm a ton better then it has been easier for me and I am happy with the outcome of what I have built. Now I have an new addition to the farm and that is my very first chicken coop in the game. This changes the game entirely. I am guessing that I will be able to collect eggs eventually but I will have to see next time I play as right now Power Rangers Collab is the upmost importance to finish up with hopefully both but I know I will finish it eventually. Anyways that is the post for today, I will talk to you all tomorrow for another post.

I'm Addicted To The Stardew Valley Video Game!

For those watched or replayed back my stream from Friday last week as I was live, I was playing Stardew Valley which is now like my favorite game of all times now next to Minecraft and Fornite.  Yes The Binding of Isaac is getting no love from me and there is a reason for that and if you follow me on Twitter you have seen a tweet which I screen shot it to the right of this text to the reason why I haven't talked about it on the blog here nor streamed it on the ChrisBOnTheWeb channel.

Anyways I thought I'd give it a chance and was a fun game to stream. I kept saying at the end I was going to switch to Minecraft but the more I played the more I kept on going with the video game. However I kind of messed up buying and selling stuff so now I have to earn the money back. What I was trying to do is get a fence to get some animals so I could start actually building a farm and earning more revenue to help me with even a potential money growth so I can actually upgrade the tools to steel to make it a ton better. The goal for now is to somehow find a way to get seeds on there and start growing crops and I mean a ton of crops. I am going to do some research and will be streaming it again this weekend so I can give it a shot because it was fun despite being on my own and I know I have a small following and eventually I'll grow at some point but this game is a ton of fun and it has some minecraft vibes to be actually. Big shoutout to Larry, my Senior Producer of Collaboration Podcasts and Co-Host of Power Rangers Collab for the help last Thursday as I made some good progress over the weekend. Anyways that is today's post and I will talk to you all tomorrow!

Life is Strange Video Game (Never Finished The Game 😞)

The title never lies, I never finished the original Life is Strange video game as I got stuck and just gave up on it entirely. I wish I somehow figured out how to beat it and this game isn't the first of many games I never finished. Here is a list of games I did not finish:

  • Spelunky
  • Spelunky 2
  • Life Is Strange
  • The Walking Dead
  • Call of Duty 2
Those are are the games that I did not finish and perhaps I should pick it up again soon as I enjoy those games and with a bit of tutorials. Originally this post is suppose to be a video game review of Life Is Strange but as I said right now that isn't the fact due to me not playing the game as I've walked away and there are other games that I probably cannot remember the title of the game that I have quit playing but Hopefully this is a glimmer of hope for me to pick up some of these games again down the road. However I am not going to be playing these games till I get into the right frame of mine on the videos games. I also have to get into the mood to play the game and to let you guys know I do have the games still, just installed in on my computer at this moment. There is my post for today and when I have a review, I will most definitely do a review. I like Life is Strange but seem to have been stumped and I can say this, this game is really good, it makes you think at all times during the game which gives it the challenge in the game itself.

I Am Back On Minecraft!!!!

After almost a year or about an year since I played the demo version of the game Minecraft. Well that has completely changed now! I have OFFICIALLY bought the full version of Minecraft with hopes to play it with my niece and nephew down the road when I am done with the current build of the game. Right now I have raised structure with flat stone for the floor. I also splitting sections of the house which one side has a mini Garden Center and another side that is pure cement which took me hours to place stone after stone to make it one solid ground and the reason behind that is to have a spot to dig down way into the ground and literally go explore.  The back half is the barn which will be in two parts on the top with a tunnel way to go up to where the actual railway will be eventually when I get to that later on and I will get the details to you guys and pictures in a different post. Anyways, the bottom will have animals and the top half will house the horses and will be the Horse Palace where the Horses will be housed. Now back to the other side of the house the left will be home to chests and furnaces to get things done with upstairs with the library and enchantment table and maybe a Lab for potions down the road too.

Now while building I have noticed with the game some new enemies, Pillagers and this Traveler which he/she is staying in the village which is cool and he brought in 2 Llamas with him so that is kind of cool but he has a dark house as I am currently still building the 2 story house in two parts of this amazing Village which is amazing. I had to actually to fight off Zombies, Creepers, Skelton's, Pillagers and Endermen which there was a bunch deaths and me raging like no tomorrow but it isn't me without a few curse words aka the f word dropped and almost wanting to quit but I didn't as I wanted to to really wanted to bring this new idea to the table and I had a ton to bring to the table with this village like. Originally I was going to go Ewok style but decided to give it my own spin to it and make it my own village and add the villagers to the village community. I will have more once I get moving on actual play and growing and adding all these cool new things to the list.

Made The Sims 4 Big Brother House Quite Difficult!

As most of you all know, I have been making the Big Brother House on The Sims 4 for nearly the past year now and have done 8 season in total at this point and the 8th just wrapped up yesterday morning as a new Winner has been crowned which was Justin. I made this season not easy for any of the houseguests. I stripped em of everything. As you know the living room normally have a bunch of TV's to communicate with Big Brother but this season it was all done by the ears. Also I stripped of things to do. All I gave em was Chess tables, 3 to be exact to play with. The hot tub was not added this time around nor they had have nots or a storage room this season. This was a season of no secrets really. Also in the main bathroom there was mirrors all over the place in the bathroom. Also there was an old shower style with no doors so no privacy whatsoever. We had so much blasted drama one died in the house during their lockup for the weeks they were locked up. I guess they couldn't deal with the stress of the game anymore and it is totally understandable. It is a very stressful game and she was not in the greatest shape.

I honestly think they ate a ton and were well out of shape by the end of the game. I can imagine they were bored out of their minds in the house and unable to go outside world on the game. 7 made it out minus the one that died towards the end of the game. Anyways the house now sits gutted like a fish and waits for what is next for the very next season. I plan on expanding the storage room and kitchen eventually and gotta start designing the next house maybe next week I will get into it while I watch Dino Thunder. I had a glitched out item that was food that spoiled in the game but it finally went away I had to delete some things and it went away and it was bugging me for the longest time but so happy it's gone unless it's still there as I do not have any lights set up right now and the house sits in the dark. But that is the most recent season I did and the next season will be a season of technology, TV's will be back, Have Not Room, Storage room will be back as well. I will update you guys next week on the progress of that until tomorrow's post.

I Won The Players Championship On PGATour2K21!

Last week or the week before as I do not remember when to be honest but it was recently that this happened where I got to play in a tournament I love personally that is played each and every year The Players Championship and yes I played that tournament. Now I will go into a bit of detail of the tournament; I struggled with the first round where I had a double or triple bogie first round at the start and struggled with water and other array of issues. Second round I caught back up to even par and into the minus. 3rd and 4th round I added on but I believe that tournament it was a close finish I was up a few strokes at the most and yes I actually won with a few strokes and honestly I was excited. Honestly I wasn't feeling so positive I was gonna win the actual tournament. After the first round I felt I was finally defeated but I proved myself wrong and won the entire thing. Yes this means I am still undefeated and haven't lost any tournament yet and continue this hot streak I am on.

Either way a win is a win and I will take it. I didn't expect Players Championship to be that easy on PGATour2K21, I knew this was gonna be a challenge and it really lived up to my expectations. I enjoyed it and now I know what to expect when I go into my second season in the PGATour2K21 which isn't far off from now to the end of this current season is very close. That is the update I can give you guys for now and I will keep you guys up to date on the progress of the video game and I haven't had the time to play the game and I need to make some time but editing has become a priority for me along with recording the normal podcast and watching Ninja Storm so I have become busy with content but once the editing of both podcasts are done for the week and I get into Ninja Storm I probably will play while I am working on the season and I can grind on both which all I do is watch episodes and take notes so I can do both I am sure.

Will I Get Neon Abyss Video Game?

I know about a month ago I did a first look at the game Neon Abyss and I know I said I was gonna get it but haven't gotten it as of yet. I had to do upgrades to the studio which is a lot more important right now however this fall I will be getting it, just the matter of a money matter and the game actually is about 22 dollars Canadian which is not too bad to be honest and you know what as I type this post. Also the DLC looks really cool and I may as well just get that too as it is $2.29 so it is definitely sounding like its a go and I do still got a bit of money on my Steam account and I cannot wait to even dig into Neon Abyss. Actually I played the demo one last time and I got to the end of the demo as I had a really good build so that sold me to getting this game and I definitely want to play it. However, the issue is I have other games right now I am playing and trying to beat but I would like to play a new game. With the time I have, yea I could do it and mix things up.

I think it will come down to me saving up and I know it's not much but like I said, I'm trying to save up the money as much as possible especially when this pandemic is over, I will not have to worry about money but that is besides the point. However I am excited to actually dig right into the game and get into a new game and dig into it. I really meant what I said I really want to dig into neon Abyss as I said it is like Spelunky and also partially like The Binding of Isaac. Either way I will get it this fall, September but depends on the money situation as I am in a bit of a saving spree right now. I promise when I play many hours of the game, to do an in depth post on what I think and how I am progressing as that is what I have been doing with video games. I might start doing weekly gaming update posts on how I have done  so far as I do have updates and maybe Wednesdays I will make it my Gaming updates for the week which is good to have content. I will get this soon and stay tuned for more updates coming to the blog here!

Addicted To Pooligans Game!

I've been wanting to talk about this for ages but I am addicted to Pooligans. What is it you may ask? Well it's a game of Pool. It is really a ton of fun and I am getting better at it as time goes on. I have been patient and I really find myself playing it when I can and I usually play several rounds a day, maybe sometimes more. However I enjoy it and I've played it in real life before with my Sunday group I use to go out with back then and I found it fun. Yes the game itself can be hard at times and there has been times where the other opponent just quit on me and I got the win which is a good thing. I've got pretty good stats with wins too and I think once, I almost went 7 - 0 on the computer while practicing and seeing if anyone invites me into a game. I have been invited into several games but the most part, I practice a ton,

Although, I haven't worked on it much lately, I've been too busy with projects for the website to play and hence the reason I haven't played in a few weeks and plus just finished Grand Theft Auto 4 so when projects slow down again, I will definitely get back to it. It has been some time and honestly I haven't even logged in at all but like I said I will eventually. The best part of this being on Steam, it's completely FREE! That's right, I said it! It's totally free and love the fact its a free game. How did I find it? I was searching around and accidentally and since then I have indeed become addicted to it. I just cannot play one game, it has to be more then one game apparently... LOL. However it's a fun game and a very addictive game to play. I know this isn't a long post but I hope you enjoyed this post and I highly recommend to play this if you are into pool.

Not Too Happy and Confused About The Sims 4 Discover University Expansion Pack!

This game seems to get more and more complicated and this is what I am going to be talking about in today's post. Now yes I consider this a "Rant" post and honestly I haven't done one of these in ages! So it does feel good to be doing this post indeed. Anyways I do not know where to start honestly so here it goes:

1) Sims starting fires:   Makes no sense I turn my back for one second and the damn Sims 4 house is on fire and the death of one or more. After all the hard work I put into the file all hell breaks loose but those are the breaks I guess.

2) Drowning of Sims: I was watching the back of the house and the poor kids drowned so easily and not sure why this is happening and starting to think this video game is just glitched all together.

3) Sims University: This is a big one for the list which is when applying to University you can only do it via  a computer and on The Sims 3, you can do it via phone too if I remember correctly. The next point I would like to make is the fact that it takes a long time for them to accept a sim into university and you also have to have the skills for certain scholarships which I don't have with one of my Sims, Katherine. However I am sure Larry will be able to help me with the game one way or another but I got her into university but failed at a step so I might have to retrace my steps again.

Either way, I have having a hard time with the game but I am sure I will figure it out eventually. I just got this game and it is a learning curve for me still and like I said Larry is the expert at these games compare to I am. Anyways this expansion pack comes a ton more fun for me and also the game and when I get time which will be very soon I am sure it will be soon but I will have the opportunity to play a bit and this Sunday is definitely going to be a prime example as Larry is coming over. Now to replace the Sims who have passed, I probably will replace them with a new set of sims down the road but I am currently running 11 households so I sure as heck have a lot on my plate still. Hope you enjoyed my ramble or rant and I think Steven is posting or has posted up something this morning or this afternoon recapping Gordon Ramsey's 24 Hours To Hell and Back.

Dead By Daylight Video Game Review!

I do not have a ton of hours on this game whatsoever but it is time I give some kind of review. I honestly can say at the start was a great start. First time I played I escaped! I'm like this is too easy but the more I played it became a lot more tougher for me and I didn't know I had to repair the generator and get them all running so this way it shows where you have to go. So I was a bit of a noob at this game and still am but getting better and better at it and I like this game especially for this time of the year as you all know Halloween is tomorrow and I love the horror video games too. Now the fact I know how to play this game, helps me a ton and I mean it really helped. Why do I say that? Well now that I know to repair the generators that really helps me find the door especially. It isn't that hard minus having to run away from that weird looking creature. I am really happy that Rocky got me into this game and I really enjoy it. However I have only played 9.5 hours of the game and need to get back into it honestly. I am planning to hopefully play with him this week but depends on my sleep schedule and my schedule in general as you know I am very busy with planning another collab down the road in December. Anyways I think it is kind of hard to rate this game at this point but it is truly an enjoyable game and if I was to rate it I would but right now probably out of 5 I would rate it a 4 as it is a tough game at times and you have to really think and watch you're back.

However I have just started playing Dead By Deadlight and I just gotta get back into the game a lot more honestly and with me watching Lightspeed Rescue, I know I can play a bit and take notes at the same time I'm sure and I know I try and play a ton more. The more I play, the more I will be able to get better and also I need to start upgrading the characters which that will do a ton of good for me in the game and I think I am like only level 2 or 3 on the two main characters I am playing at this point so it surely doesn't help whatsoever to have low levels on the characters so that is definitely going to have to be a goal for me to rank em up big time to ensure the more the better. I realize too I have to upgrade different skills which I have started to do so I am on my way but yet again like I said from my point of view I have to play a ton more and that is definitely in the plans for me moving forward that I am going to make time to play even for an hour a day is good as I know working non stop is not a good thing and I do need to take a break and not burn myself out whatsoever.

Started Playing Star Trek Online!

I have started to play between work that I have been working on, Star Trek Online which was recommended by a twitch stream I watch regularly. So big shoutout to them. Now when I first started, I just could not for the life of me find the main bridge of the ship my character was suppose to go to so that took at least a good 10 - 15 minutes to find which I did in the end. Now the movement and shooting was very awkward at the start but remember every game is different with the way of the controls are. Majority of the time it is WASD Keys for the movements or the arrows keys. I am learning the movements of the character and it will definitely take some time for me to get the hang of it. One thing that does bother me is the fact the enemies go right up to you shooting and I try to move away so I can shoot but they seem to like get in my face and shoot. I also find the shooting hard to do and figure out what button to shoot with, but yet again, it will take some time to get the hang of it down the road. I am very much awkward with the movements but again it comes down to learning the keys down and I will in time honestly.

So far, I am enjoying the game but was sort of still trying to maneuver around the paths in the game but I guess eventually I will get through it. What a friend told me the PC version of this game has a heck of a lot more levels so it will definitely take some time for me to beat but I am definitely up to the challenge honestly. However I am sure once I pass a bunch of missions, I will figure it out and I will be completing things quite quickly which that is one thing I wish I can do with another game I am playing but this is a nice change of pace for the way of video games honestly and it does indeed give me a break from games I am trying to 100% *Cough cough The Binding of Isaac* which I will beat sooner or later but at least I am playing a bit of a different genre of a game and I am enjoying it but it is once again a learning curve but patience is indeed a virtue.

My List of Sims 4 Fails... (Throwback Thursday Story)

So 2 weeks ago which it could of been longer honestly but anyways I made Dave a sim and of course added in his fiance in real life and tried to get the two to start dating but uh uh, no dice they ended up into a fist fight so it wasn't a pretty site to see honestly and I do not know what the heck went wrong honestly. It was an total epic fail. I ended up locking her in the bathroom by mistake and she died... So it was the biggest fail I have ever made on a video game ever but the next fail I had was not realizing that when Dave's adopted daughter was dating my guys daughter on the game tilI recognized my last name and I'm like seriously?! Eventually they ended up married which made Dave and I in-laws on the game... LOL! Sounds odd I know but that is what happened. I ended up deleting all the current sims honestly. Also the two sims became parents so Dave and I ended up being grandparents go figure! I don't think I have ever done that before nor it would ever happen again but you never really know what is or going to happen.

The Sims 4 can be full of surprises one way or another like the time my sims wife electrocuted herself fixing the TV in the game I just shook my head on that in dismay this actually did happen. Expect the unexpected like the Reality TV Show Big Brother, Celebrity Big Brother or Big Brother Canada. Anyways I still enjoy this game even with the craziness of the game from time to time as it is nuts, I can turn my back and a sim starts a fire in the house or even in the backyard and end up on fire and dying which has happened with Eric's sim trying to extinguish the fire in the kitchen on the game. He didn't didn't last more then a few minutes of me creating him and it sure as heck looked like him too! It is never a dull moment on the game but my sims can do the wrong thing ending up with certain consequences like once I tried to get my sim to go to work and he refused to go and I think he was in one of his grumpy moods, tired, hungry or something wasn't right with him but the boss called him to tell him to GET HIS BUTT back to work the next day... Probably glitch but there is tons of fails but makes it for a good laugh and a good time!

Walking Dead Game: I Am Still Stuck On It!

I admit it I haven't touched the Walking Dead video game in a few months as I am completely stuck but will have to watch YouTube videos to how to beat being in the back of the truck scene I believe at the hotel or motel, whatever you wanna call it.  I am or got very frustrated with the game so I put it to the side for now but I need to get back into it if I am to ever beat it. I should keep on trying, just like I do with The Binding of Isaac. I just do not know why I let the frustration get to me and maybe it is time I just keep on trying and like I said one thing I find helpful is YouTube which got me through Grand Theft Auto 4 and the hard decisions I had to make in the game. This is one of the toughest games I have played yet but I do enjoy the challenges that is behind a video games and makes me think on my feet too when it is time to make those tough and painful decisions. I am planning to to re watch Dan Gheesling's play through of The Walking Dead and learn what I need to do to move forward in the game. He is probably the best person as I do remember his play through of the game and I think it will be very helpful. It is like a tool for me to help me to succeed in the game.

Video games can be tough but also the challenge is what I like in a video game is the challenge and toughness of the game. Look at Minecraft it took me years to beat the Ender Dragon or The Binding of Isaac that has taken me years and years to beat it and yet I am not there yet but getting so close! It is tough and I know and realize I am a fast learner but when learning a game such as The Walking Dead, it does take some time to learn and learn the keys that are involved in the game. Every game has different keys to learn whether it is Minecraft, The Binding of Isaac or Call of Duty, I am always trying to remember each and every key that there is in the game and trust me when there is many games like when I play tons of games on my list right now I am trying to knock off my list and I will get it down in time and The Walking Dead is one of the games I will get finished.

I consider playing video games a learning curve for me and it can be a point of me giving up like I did recently but that will be changing as I plan on getting back into it hopefully this weekend as I plan to take some time off as I got plans with the family this weekend and I will have time between the family time. I am now going to work hard to continue on with the game and watch YouTube videos to help me with beating this game. I just gotta remain positive and just keep on trying and if I cannot do it keep on trying. There is a cut off point as I need to stop for the day and I will always make sure to stop if I just get so overwhelmed or frustrated with the game. But in time I will get it and able to continue on with the game I need to continue to be patient.

Chris
