Why Did The Collab Podcast Page Went Away?

               As you know the collaboration podcast went away recently and there is a reason as an idea came to me, yes an idea to me and with Steven and I doing that one collaboration which is now part of The CBOTW Show Podcast that is where this idea came to me putting Steven as the Exec Producer as he is going to be running things for the most part and I trust him enough. As you know hes covering Masterchef, Masterchef Junior, Gordon Ramsey's 24 Hours To Hell and Back and Hell's Kitchen and of course the addition of Power Rangers Podcast in the mix, that is one of the reasons I decided to do this endeavor and I think it is a great idea and never know this could be something that I could be doing for many years now, new shows and old even if Everything About Reality TV Podcast stops at anytime, I certainly have something to fall back on and honestly just doing collabs here and there it won't be much to do in the long run and it would be pretty quiet so this is definitely opportunity not just knocking but banging the door right down and I cannot take away this opportunity. So if you understand where I am coming from with this post, this sets things up for me for the future. 


                So I did all of this for a certain reason but mind you nothing is changing, Power Rangers Podcast is here to stay and we got ton of content on that podcast. One other thing I had some technical issues with the player catching the views as it updates every 7 - 10 days which it never did before and honestly people wasn't listening in honestly so this is where this entire idea for The CBOTW Show came into play. Honestly I think the more platforms that we are on the better we get more listens and fans all together. I have so many more opportunities with the podcasts being on one dedicated feed and I honestly think Steven can do this running the podcast as the Exec Producer as I cannot run two of them so that is why he is named the Executive Producer with me still named as the Founder as I Originally started this podcast 2 years ago almost. I think in the end this is the right decision to make and I am just happier with the plan moving forward and hope this explains a bit why I made this move and I kind of figured Everything About Reality TV won't be around forever as shows will end at some point but yes new shows will come out but least this brand new idea, I have options now and that is what matters.

Power Rangers Updates and Announcement!

               I can say this after working so hard on notes and trying to make up some ground on the podcast, I am near finished typing and by now you never know I could be finished up with the notes as they are getting very paper thin right now. Anyways I am close to finished and Larry and I were originally planning this weekend however it isn't about the notes being finished it is more then less we cannot mount the other boom arm and microphone on the desk I am currently using and the desk does not have the lip to hold the boom so that is not an option right now. Space is very limited at the moment and it is not entirely my fault as you guys know the studio is still under renovations at the moment however the desk is almost ready as we have to install a part at the back of the desk so we can mount the monitors on the mount for both screens. So we could be back at the desk this weekend or next week but that is why I am making this post this week to tell and update you guys what is going on. Even if we are on the restored desk, there will not be any shelves put back up for quite sometime until the ceiling in completed which has yet to be finished. So I plan on putting shelves when the ceiling is complete and we are ready to put shelves up. Again I will always keep you guys up to speed on things on when I have updates. I will be doing a formal blog post with a schedule at what it will look like.


             Now to the announcement part I am proud to officially say 2 weeks Sunday, both Larry and I are happy to say that Power Rangers Collaboration Podcast is coming back with talking about Power Rangers: Lost Galaxy and Power Rangers: Lightspeed Rescue! Now the official posting of the episodes will come once I edit the podcast and post it up. I will probably, more then likely I will be doing another blog post to announce the release schedule for the podcast. We are both excited to be returning after an 8 month hiatus which was honestly too long of a wait for the podcast to return and I know I messed up with not recording in October but that is officially behind us and now we are returning and excited to sit down and talk about these two seasons. Guess "best to those who wait" which is a great quote. Either or, we cannot wait and hope you guys will enjoy it when it comes out later in February.

Struggling With The Collaboration Podcast Page....

            The collaboration page, well let's just say the views aren't there anymore with the player. Now I know you guys have been to the collaboration page as the site views on it has been up and I think there is an issue with the player collecting the viewership as I know a people have been to the page to listen to it and people are hyped up were trying to get more collabs done between Everything About Reality TV. I have already contacted the site that we are with and honestly I am trying to find an alternate or another way so nothing really as of yet but we are looking and hope to find something since there is an issue with it if we cannot find it. I know I sound a lot calmer then yesterday morning around midnight when I was going off and complaining but I am glad I emailed and mentioned there is an issue with it and why the listens are not counting whatsoever. It has to be them for some reason I just feel that way right now. As for the Power Rangers Podcast, I have told Larry I am done for right now. This could change but right now I am just not feeling it right now with the issues but I am sure Larry and I will have a conversation on Wednesday night. We are suppose to be together but it is frustrating to not know that there is people listening to the podcast after the hard work Larry and I or even Steven and I put into the episodes we produce exclusively for here for the website.


            Do not worry we, I mean I will be continuing to work on episodes and it will be on standby and I promise you guys that we will record soon but it has gone from a studio that is in disarray still which as you know is starting to get back to normal to now having issues with the player counting listeners. I will monitor it and see but I have contacted the site so it is good to communicate with the site and after all I cannot complain as it is after all a free site and amazing website to upload audio or video archives. If worse comes to worse I will announce late week this week if Larry and I are recording or not. Maybe we have dried up and no interest but there was  an issue back in September so it is not the first time to have an issue really and it is really frustrating to be dealing with some issue and honestly I should of emailed them about the issue sooner because something isn't right honestly and I know you guys for a fact see my messages and listen in when they go up its just the player that's not registering the viewership and I wish I knew why this a problem because as of June last year we got between 20 and 50 views on the last Power Rangers Podcast. So honestly it makes absoutetly no sense whatsoever. That is 10 cents what is going on and hopefully Larry and I can finalize recording even if the views are low. Like he said in the end it is all about the views which is true. Why do it if the views are down but I got my own solution that could be the issue but we will see once I get an reply and Larry and I discuss but in the meantime, I want to focus on finishing up the notes to be prepared for the next weekend coming up.

Everything About Reality TV & Collaboration Podcasts Intro's Re-Done!

            As you probably noticed with Everything About Reality TV Podcast for the foremost as you know by the recent podcasts I have completely changed Everything About Reality TV Podcast around in the way of intros. Before it had my voice as part of the intro but now it has Rocky Bones voice as the voice of the podcast before you hear my narly voice on the microphone and I shouldn't really put myself down honestly. However it is a nice change and he volunteered to help and I asked him to do the VO (Voice Over) work for me and honestly it sounds very wicked to be honest. That was only the start of things honestly as that was not the only intro that got the over haul over the last month but the collaboration Podcast also got an overhaul and trust me you will hear it in December when Power Rangers Podcast returns to the airwaves exclusively here on the website. Right now I am going to be keeping quiet what it sounds like as I am the only one plus Rocky that know what it sounds like and I have to play em for Larry this weekend as I forgot to last time he was here visiting. 


              Change is good and CBOTW is growing and this year has been one hell of a year for us with me being part of PRCB (Punk Rock Cheeseburger). I think the change of the intros was probably the best move for me honestly. It was time for a new voice for the podcast and this way you guys hear me once and lik I said Rocky volunteered it so I guess hes part of CBOTW in a way honestly. He's like our voice over artist I guess so to speak and trust me the collaboration podcast intro you guys will really like when you hear but you have to be patient for at least one more month till Larry and I sit down and get moving on the collaboration which I should have an update by then for you guys so be sure to stay tuned for when that comes out and plus Larry and I have a few surprises for you guys in 2020 as well. :P

Wiped Out The Collab Page and Re-Coded It!

             I know it has been a while since I fiddled around with the code in the back end of this website and I decided to give the entire page an overhaul as it was long due for it as the page for the collabs has been sitting gathering since the Power Rangers Podcast went on a hiatus all of a sudden due to a very and hectic schedule I was under. So what I have done was wiped out the entire code which caused the website page to be removed from the entire website but it is still there, but it is not visible to you guys till late last night as I brought it back online without the new content but gives you an idea way things look and I think it honestly looks a ton better as I brought in the description next to the title of the collab then below the code to the player so I sort of gave it the sleeker look and less text then ever as there was honestly way too much text when it came to the page and I know it was very texty and I realize that is truly not a word technically but I mean it was a cluttered up page and really in need of maintenance and that is what I did yesterday was work on the page and looks better. 


           Yes the page is live, just go to the collabs page to see the changes that we have made and honestly I am much happier with it and I know there is one part that looks kind of spread apart but I tried everything to fix it but it seems to just not be fixable at this point but cannot really tell but I will try and continue to fix that, might be a site bug with blogger.com but it could be out of my control but I am sure it has nothing to do with any of the code and I checked time and time again on the code so there is nothing wrong with the code from my back end as it has been checked so many times, my brain hurts but I don't think you guys will really notice much of a difference anyways and nobody has really said anything to me about the gap on there. 


           However, I needed to make these changes to start fitting in newer episodes as I knew when the late spring came, I would be finishing up the prep work for Power Rangers Podcast to get ready to start recording and I had to realize to get this page ready for new releases as I haven't touched the actual page since December of last year so that is definitely 6 months ago to the day of this post being released to you guys, however that is about to soon change with the most recent upload nearly 24 hours from now. I hope you guys enjoy the episode tomorrow and fair warning it is an hour long as we had a ton of content to cover on the episode but we hope you enjoy it and let me know on social media what you think!

Power Rangers Podcast Returns Monday!

           With great excitement after 6 months of not recording the podcast, I am not prouder of what was done back on the weekend. It has been a roller coaster of hours or preparation and watching the show has truly paid off. I know I have been asked my not only you guys the fans about the return of the podcast but not only them but my co host, Larry has asked numerous times when is it coming back. With great pleasure and excitement, I am proud to say Power Rangers Podcast is returning this upcoming Monday with the Power Rangers In Space. I have been working on the editing of the podcast, getting ready and once I am done editing, the next step is to actually get the page ready to start releasing the episodes over on the collabs page in the next 2 weeks once a week on the Monday. I am so stoked after the long wait and silence of Larry and I not saying a word as we kind of started to speculate as the months going on during the hiatus that the planning for the return but kept things very hush hush especially to Larry and my alumni and staff as they get insight what is going on before you guys even know. However it is very exciting news and I am beyond excited that I am posting up a new episode next week and got the rest of the week to finish editing the episodes and getting ready for release. I also would like to say I do have an announcement to when the next one is coming out which will be a week Monday but here is what the schedule will look like for the next 2 weeks of this podcast:

Monday, June 10th, 2019: Power Rangers In Space Podcast, 8 pm EST

Monday, June 17th, 2019: Power Rangers Round Table Podcast, 8 pm EST


           The Power Rangers In Space is about an hour long meanwhile the Round Table Podcast is around 20 - 30 minutes long. It really all depends and it varies from episode to episode but you guys are getting content. I honestly cannot wait for you guys to hear both episodes and excited for the future episodes down the road as well and I know 6 months is a long wait but remember that both Larry and I only do this twice a year and it isn't too often we sit down to record these as it does take time to watch the season write notes then type up the notes but I got a plan which I will reveal in time that I may be adding on a 3rd session in 2020 but we will see how the schedule fits as right now I know I renewed my podcast series for a 11th and 12th season and I know more but you will see in a seperate post about that at 2 pm EST.

Finding It Tough To Focus On The Collaboration Podcast...

               1 week from now, my world will be flipped upside down as both Larry and I will be back together to record Power Rangers Podcast and yes it is finally coming back and I have been hiding the news for quite some time since March and April when I knew we are getting close to the return. When we return it will be near 6 months since we actually recorded the last 2 episodes which is a long time. Honestly since September I kind of knew that January to now would be a crazy schedule so I knew that I needed the hiatus and yes I now admit we were on a hiatus and with the recent studio changes, we are ready to go for this next collaboration and I kind of now do have the time to work on it and this summer I am sure I will have the time to start working on the next 2 for this fall. Anyways I am now off topic to the topic or title of this blog post. I am very distracted from finishing up the notes as right now I am just so eager to record and I have been busy preparing my other podcast's YouTube channel ready for re-launch as it hasn't been on YouTube for almost 3 years so one way or another I have been extremely busy with that but I only have a week to go and the pressure is indeed on!


              So I am struggling but with 1 hour nap and up most of the night as my sleep is the most messed up, I can see how I am struggling but between today and tomorrow I would like to honestly finish it as I am out of the smaller city here into even a bigger city for the day so I will not even be in the studio all day so I will definitely need to complete this in the next 24 hours at the most so I can finally get it done and over with and ready for next weekend as it will be a big weekend for Larry and I with this podcast so I need to refocus myself and get my head back into the game and work hard cause I want to stay on track so I can finish it. Yes I got other things on the list too for after this but my priority is the collaboration. I need to remain focused and confident that I can get this finished before mid week this upcoming week as I do not want to end up delaying the podcast and at the point of waiting till July to record which I promise you it will not happen. I promise you will be seeing content on Twitter and Instagram a week tomorrow which you guys will know it's truly going down and when we know it will be out we will definitely make the announcement when were ready to release.

Funniest Podcast Moments (Throwback Thursday)

             There is so many memorable moments with the podcast not just with Everything About Reality TV but also Power Rangers Podcast which has proved to be a huge success. In today's post I am going to definitely covering a bunch of em from both of the podcasts as I got some things I can mention.

1. The intro screw ups on Everything About Reality TV, where I just let out a bunch of profanity on the recording but don't worry it never made it to air on any of the platforms as I have that saved for my laughs and only a couple people have heard the recording. I think the problem I had was I just talking to fast and my words stuttered. I could down the road make it's own page on here under podcast bloopers for you laughing needs.

2. When Larry and I did the Mighty Morphin saying by the forces of lighting make our monster grow. 

3. Also during the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Podcast Larry say I don't like you... Ed.... I said It's Zedd, You Blinkin bucket of bolts! LORD ZEDD! I was able to channel my inner Lord Zedd honestly. We sure have fun with these podcasts when we are recording these collaboration podcasts.

4. When I switched out the intro lines I say over the intro theme of the podcast from "Media Man" back to "Entertainment Man" I think I confused my head completely with the intros but now I have re-trained myself back into that intro but it was funny trying to do the intro, especially over and over again. 


               This adventure as a podcaster has just started and I am sure there will be more funny moments and I am sure there will be other podcasts that will be added into Chris B On The Web. I am planning on down the road to continue to continue on with podcasting as I have indeed enjoyed doing these each and every week. Yes Everything About Reality TV has been fun and can be exhausting like I am now but it is all worth it in the end with the stress and mental exhaustion and same goes with any other podcasts that has been done within CBOTW.

Not Saying Um or But On My Podcast Much Anymore!

              I have noticed, I have gotten better at not saying um or but on the podcast as much, still got a lot of work to improve and to have 0 ums and buts in there but I think I am getting better. How am I able to do that? Well I am making sure it is out of sight, out of mind. I am trying to expand my horizon on my vocabulary which yes I know it is a big word for someone who doesn't use big words too often but starting to get better.  Trust me it is not an easy task trying to not say and so much as it was a weakness when I first started to podcast in 2015 which was almost 3.5 years ago. I know it is hard but someway, somehow I am managing to not say it. What I read up, that is always a bad habit when it comes to podcasters. What really bothers me with some of my podcasts is the ums, buts and the long pauses but that is the beauty of editing I can remove it and it is out sight, out of mind.


               I have shown so much progress and getting so much better at podcasting then I was and it feels like I was born to podcast. I mean I am after all got the gift of gab which helps out a lot and when it comes to either Everything About Reality TV or the collaboration podcasts I do, I can say it's been a positive and fun experience so far and you ain't seen nothing yet and I am not talking about the song, talking about this season coming is going to be good. Anyways I can proud of the progress I have made on the podcasts since I have two different things going on right now and I just have to remember when recording to refrain from using the words um or but. There is other words such as however for a example that I can indeed use. Again, I still have the odd habit of saying those two certain words from time to time but again, it is a work in progress and I know I can do it if I put my mind to it.

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Collab Talk Release Dates!

                So I guess I have to also fix this screw up I made by breaking my promise for you guys to listen hear to the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers and it has been now recorded for 2 months, edited and sitting in a folder on both my computer and also my external hard drive and I know, where the hell is the podcast? Well this is, I guess the press release of the podcast that I have been holding onto for 2 months now as it took Larry and I over a month to record the podcast, then with me editing grind and posting it up. As you know by now, the .com was suspended, so where is this collaboration going? Well right on here under it's own page and it will be posted up starting next week. When Is The Collab Podcasts Coming Out?

              I know you are wondering when is the collaboration is coming out, so you guys can listen to it? Well in today's blog I will explain everything from top to bottom of what the plan is and what I am planning for Chris B On The Web and yes this includes the missing ChrisBOnTheWeb.com which you can hear my sarcasm in this paragraph I am written so far as you continue to read on in this post. I can be quite sarcastic from time to time 😜 Anyways as you already know ChrisBOnTheWeb.com has been down for months and this is where the little announcement comes in and it ties into the now empty and sitting deserted website after 5 months of hell with trying to keep the site a float. No I am not taking the site fully offline or closing Chris B On The Web, first part of this announcement is that I am planning and starting the website work as of Monday Morning as the website will be returning very, very soon!


                The second part when ChrisBOnTheWeb.com returns, it will be the start of the collaborations as I am planning to release all 3 collaborations that are recorded and just recently edited and ready for release, I plan on releasing it once a week till finished which there are only 3 episodes to be released at the moment but more to come as Larry and I been in talks about going all the way to loss Galaxy which kind of ends from the In Space season so there is plenty to come in the way of collaborations to come and were both excited. I do not have an ETA on the website re-launching at the moment as it is a lot of work to re code and re enter every single podcast that I have done, 142 to be exact so bare with me while it will be hell and back to rebuild the website from scratch but it will be worth it in the end when things re open again in the very nearby future. Once I know the release date, more then definitely I will be giving you a date for releases of the collaboration and I may just wait till the start of October, to ensure everything is running smoothly on my website but I will let you guys know as soon as possible.

Chris B On The Web Updates

            Don't think I have been working hard over Friday and the weekend but I have and I got some news about Chris B On The Web with the collaborations that are suppose to happen this year and it has been discussed further between Larry and I and as of June we are aiming for the start for the production of the collaboration but not only a collaboration with a good friend but the start a brand new podcast called The CBOTW Show and will be starting in the summer time but never know it can start sooner but you never know what will happen with this brand new podcast and what projects will come up on the list. Any suggestions for New TV Shows coming out, cover Rosanne maybe? Let me know in the comments below! 


                The next thing is I cannot give you guys a guaranteed the plan for Everything About Reality TV for the summer time but I will keep you guys informed what the plan is. The reason for this is because there might be plans to go on a holiday, either to the East Coast of the USA or flying out to Calgary to see the family so it is kind of hard to confirm what I got planned for the next season of Everything About Reality TV but soon as I know if I am going on a vacation for a week or two, I will let you know what the scheduling will be like for the summer time. If I do go on a holiday, I plan on just covering Amazing Race Canada and sit this one out for Big Brother 20 unless I find someone to fill in for me for BB20 then I could more then likely be able to take some time off but or I would have to actually catch up when I got home as I no longer own a laptop so it makes things extremely hard to record from on the road with. Money surely do not grow on trees and I would love to take a long vacation with family but never know what my parents have up their sleeves!


                  Finally I have been given opportunities for a collaboration but yet I have tried to get things rolling for the collaboration and I didn't get any communication, I want to make this clear if you wish to collaborate with me or some kind of promotional spotlight or interview to promote your content, please tell me what you wish to collaborate as it is hard for me to guess what you would like to do with me in the way of a collab, please communicate with me about it and keep in touch. How can I collaborate when I do not receive an email back from you guys? Please state in the email the reason for the email in the subject and in the main body of the email the more fine details of your request and ideas you have for this collaboration. Thank you for your consideration and just wanted to make it more clearer what you would like to do with me so this way I know.
