CEO Stepped Down, Director of Operations in Charge...

Chris, our beloved CEO has unfortunately stepped down as CEO. He has become tired of being ridiculed, harassed, bullied so he is no longer with us as CEO. But he is actually still with the company and he can return as CEO later but now is not the time. If he will return that is beyond me as I do not know what he's thinking.

Don't fret he is still with the company as I said but he is the Lead for the Content, Blogs and Executive Producer. I will be helping him with things behind the scenes stuff and with my new role, Executive Producer/Program Director of The CBOTW Show- Reality TV Shows which he mainly calls me EP (Short for Executive Producer.) Have a great rest of your day and I will be back tomorrow.

How Mindful Use of Technology Can Help You Reconnect with Yourself

For busy professionals and caregivers who stay reachable all day, technology distraction can feel like a constant low hum that crowds out inner signals. The core tension is simple: being constantly online can erode emotional self-connection, leaving moods harder to name and needs easier to ignore. Over time, that blunts mental wellbeing and makes spiritual self-awareness feel distant, even when life looks “fine” on the surface. With mindful technology use, self-reconnection becomes practical again.

Quick Summary: Mindful Tech Habits

  • Set clear technology boundaries to protect focus, rest, and personal time.

  • Notice your emotions before and after scrolling to build emotional awareness with tech.

  • Take short screen-based mental clarity resets to reduce overwhelm and regain presence.

  • Use simple spiritual mindfulness practices to reconnect with yourself beyond the screen.

  • Choose mindful technology habits that support your values instead of automatic digital consumption.

Understanding Mindful Technology Use

A simple way to start is to notice what constant connection does to your attention. Wi Fi makes life easier with maps, messages, banking, and quick answers, and these everyday Wi Fi benefits can also train your mind to scan, switch, and stay on alert. Mindful technology means using these tools on purpose, so your emotional, mental, and spiritual health stays in charge.

This matters because attention is the doorway to self connection. When your focus is repeatedly pulled outward, it gets harder to hear your feelings, think clearly, or sit with stillness. Research linking daily screen time with higher risks of anxiety helps explain why boundaries can feel like relief, not restriction.

Imagine opening your phone to check the weather while on Wi Fi, then getting pulled into notifications and short videos. Ten minutes later, you feel scattered and vaguely tense, even though nothing is “wrong.” Mindful tech is choosing one task, finishing it, and returning to your life on purpose.

Build a Mindful Tech Routine That Reconnects You

This process turns your phone and laptop from default distractions into tools you choose intentionally. You will set clear boundaries, reset your nervous system, and use a few simple prompts to reconnect emotionally, mentally, and spiritually.

  1. Choose your purpose before you unlock
Start each interaction by naming one intention out loud: “send a message,” “check directions,” or “pay a bill.” If another urge appears, write it down and return to the original task so your attention stays with you, not the feed.

  2. Set two boundaries you can keep today
Choose one time boundary and one place boundary, such as “no social apps before breakfast” and “phone stays out of the bedroom.” Make it easy to succeed by turning off nonessential notifications and placing tempting apps off your home screen.

  3. Use a 60-second nervous-system reset when you feel pulled
When you notice tension, scrolling, or impatience, pause and do one of these grounding practices like a slow breath cycle or the 5-4-3-2-1 sensory check. This helps you respond on purpose instead of using your device to numb or distract.

  4. Do a quick emotional and mental check-in, then act
Ask: “What am I feeling right now?” and “What matters most in the next hour?” Then take one small aligning action: send the honest text, add one to-do item, close extra tabs, or set a 10-minute focus timer to finish what you started.

  5. Add a weekly reconnection ritual using technology lightly
Schedule 15 minutes each week for mindful check-ins with yourself or someone close, using a note or calendar reminder to keep it consistent. Review what drained you, what nourished you, and one boundary to adjust, so your tech use supports your values.

Mindful Tech Daily Reconnection Checklist

This mindful technology checklist turns good intentions into daily digital habits you can actually follow. Use it to stay grounded, protect focus, and make space for emotional and spiritual self-connection.

✔ Confirm one purpose before opening a device

✔ Set one time limit for scrolling or messages

✔ Choose one phone-free place for the next hour

✔ Silence nonessential notifications to reduce reactive checking

✔ Pause for 60 seconds of breathing when you feel pulled

✔ Name one emotion and one need before responding

✔ Do one aligned action, then close the app

Check these off once today, and your attention will start returning to you.

Building a Mindful Tech Practice That Supports Long-Term Wellbeing

Screens make it easy to stay busy and connected while quietly drifting from what feels grounded and true. Sustained mindful technology use brings attention back to choice, using devices with intention, clear limits, and regular check-ins that keep life in the driver’s seat. Over time, that supports emotional health benefits, steadier mental wellness maintenance, and spiritual self-connection reinforcement when the day gets loud. Mindful technology use means your phone serves your life, not the other way around. Choose one item from the checklist to practice daily for the next week, and notice what shifts. Keeping technology and long-term wellbeing aligned builds the stability and resilience that make growth and connection easier to sustain.

New Chief Operating Officer!

I recently made a significant decision that I believe will benefit our company. With my focus on content creation, managing the community has become increasingly challenging. To strengthen our leadership, I am proud to announce the promotion of Kevin as the new Chief Operating Officer (COO) of ChrisBOnTheWeb Media. This is a prestigious role, which has been vacant since early 2025 when Sara previously held it.

Congratulations to Kevin on this well-deserved appointment! I am confident he will excel in this role and support our team effectively. Trusting my team more allows me to focus on strategic priorities while ensuring the company continues to run smoothly.

You can connect with Kevin via our Facebook page, X, or Discord, and our Administrative Assistant is available through Discord and our company email.

Thank you for your continued support, and as always, I look forward to connecting with you tomorrow!

Trying to stay on Schedule...

It's all about getting into the swing of things, getting the hang of the schedule and with Entertainment Man Podcast ending, it will open up a lot more doors for me. There should be certain recording days and post up days and one of the reasons we are like backlogged and Malcolm in The Middle this week is taking a week off as there is so many things happening this week from Entertainment Man Podcast Finale for the entire podcast to After Hours with Shane and Chris and of course Survivor which will be out tonight.

Sometimes, I just think I overdo things when it comes to the podcasts and shows but I am slowly understanding the time crunch behind all the shows but I have better understanding now that I need to set recording dates for the shows for example, After Hours with Shane and Chris are typically recorded on Friday evenings and up late on Saturday nights. So The CBOTW Show needs some set dates itself and here are a couple of examples Wednesdays as that is the normal day for Bob and I when we need to record and Thursdays when it's Larry and I but I could swing him to Wednesdays. Plus this fits into the Survivor schedule as well Wednesday nights after the Survivor 50 episodes. Just food for thought and that is the post for now and I will talk to you all at 1 pm EST for a SPECIAL Post.

Gaming Streams Are Officially Over

For the better of my Mental Health, I will not being doing anymore gaming streams. Decision is final and it's not up for debate anymore. I want to also focus on the company itself and I have been seeing things faltering again and I need to address things and when I say faltering I mean the disrespect the team has had prior to the recent actions of one user over there on kick which my said account is now permanently gone and I know I was affiliate but there is other means of us earning money, aka our website and maybe one day down the long road the YouTube channel that we haven't really promoted much lately.

The only streams we will do is via our Facebook page and our TikTok and when we get enough followers on Instagram we will most likely add that down the road. However for now we are focusing on the two platforms for the time being. I know the live page went away and I could bring it back but decided it will be on social media and whatever platforms you guys follow us on you can certain tune in. Anyways that is the post for today and as always talk to you all tomorrow!

Website Looks a ton Better!

Our website looks a ton better! Less drop downs and more images to click on. I know that sounds a little odd but it seems to work better and one hub for all of our episode which makes life so much better for us. The numbers actually show the changes are positive and that is what we want to happen is to have positive numbers when it comes to these changes to our website which is great!

I am still experimenting with things wit hthe site but for the most part I am done fooling around and we are now at 100% done and I am happy with the changes so we move on and continue to focus on the content side of things which is most definitely important. Any feedback or suggestions are always welcome and as always I will talk to you all tomorrow!

Why Back on YouTube?!

Although we previously announced that we were stepping away from YouTube, our approach moving forward will be different. At this time, we are not returning to on-camera content. Instead, our primary focus will be on the audio-only side of the platform.

We are gradually and thoughtfully reintegrating the company back onto YouTube and are still evaluating the long-term strategy for video content. Our goal is to eventually return to video in a more structured and committed way, when the timing and plan are right.

There are also opportunities within our Reality TV coverage, including the possibility of hosting live Survivor recap discussions in the future. However, that is something we will explore at a later stage. In the meantime, there are many ways we can continue to grow the channel. Not all content needs to be live — we will utilize uploads and premieres strategically to maintain consistency and engagement.

We are also committed to maintaining a positive community environment. Any disruptive behavior will be addressed promptly. Moderation tools will be actively used, and our team will have the necessary permissions to manage and remove inappropriate content immediately.

Thank you for your continued support. We look forward to connecting with you again tomorrow.

Why the End-of-Week Updates Have Been Discontinued

In full transparency, I’m not entirely sure why I decided to bring it back in the first place. Upon reflection, I realize it likely wasn’t a long-term fit. It lasted one week, and in hindsight, I should have focused on the initiatives that were already gaining positive traction.

Moving forward, my priorities are clear:

  1. Continue building the Newsletter, which has been steadily growing and seeing increased sign-ups.

  2. Keep the End-of-Week Updates consistent and structured.

  3. Avoid making frequent changes. Consistency is important, and I recognize that I sometimes move things around too often.

Ultimately, reintroducing something so similar to the newsletter wasn’t the most effective use of time. This has been a learning moment for me, and I take full responsibility for the decision. Going forward, the focus will be on stability, clarity, and delivering consistent value.

That’s the update for this week. Have a great weekend, and I’ll talk to you all on Monday.
